(Y/N)'s P.O.V
being with Shiro has been so weird, even though you had a crush on him and he was struggling to get a girlfriend, he made a rule that we would be friends with benefits, which honestly scared me.

((Y/N)'s 21st birthday)

On my 21st birthday, Shiro suggested that we celebrate by going to the bar, which was fine but we were still following the friends with benefits. For the past years, the only 'friends with benefits' we've done was make-outs but that was it.

3rd Person
After 4 drinks of beer (for Shiro), (Y/N) and Shiro were in a make-out session in a shitty-ass motel, but it started to get more tense.

Shiro pulled up (Y/N) shirt, and now she was in her bra. "S-Shiro...please...not now." (Y/N) pleaded, but he kept going.

Shiro then started taking off his shirt and pants, I had to stop him before he goes any farther...but then, I blacked out.

(The Next Day)

(Y/N) wakes up with a stiff neck and back, she cracks her back and realizes that she was just wearing her underwear and bra. She panicked and looked around and saw she was still in a shitty-ass motel...oh and that Shiro was sleeping next to her...wait.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V
I look down and see a sleeping Shiro right next to me. I was shocked and looked down at my body, and I was relieved...kinda. I was wearing my bra and panties and my body seemed pretty clean.

"I didn't touch you, or anything." I heard a voice.

I turn around and see Shiro in all his shirtless glory, I blushed and turned around.

"But I did give you a sweet bite."

I freaked out, I ran out of the bed to the bathroom and see a hickey clearly visible on her neck. Shiro then wrapped his arms around my waist.

I thought it was just for benefits, but it looked like he took a long time on it.

"Why did you do this?" I cried out to him, confuse and...no just confuse.

"It's because I love you," He finally spoke, I was in shock, "I have to come clean (Y/N), I am in love with you, and not the beneficial way, I mean it with love. I just can't see my world without you in it."

I started to cry, I turned around and gave him a big hug, he hugs back and kisses my forehead.

"I promise to always be with you, from the edge of the solar system and back."

(A/N: can I go on a small rant, I dont like fanfictions that make the reader a paladin aka riding a lion, it ruins the story of Voltron. Anyway I'm going to make a Christmas themed oneshot. Do you guys want it to be a lemon of fluff, let me know. Anyway, good day.)
