I woke earlier then normal, I would mostly wait for the Paladins to wake up first. I shuffled out of bed, Still sleepy, and walked to the kitchen to get breakfast.
The door opens, I walk into kitchen. I wasent looking where I was going and hit something, no not something, someone. I fell on the floor the someone hit me hard on my stomach, it was painful and I wasn't walking that fast.
"Oh sorry, you ok?" that voice, Shiro? I look up to see Shiro looking at me from the floor. My cheeks were flushed pink when I saw his gentle face.
Even though I talked and even trained with the Paladins, Shiro for some reason always feels the most soft to me.
He holds out his hand for me to take, I was hesitant, but took it. Shiro pulled me and helped me stand back up. "Shiro, I thought I was the only one awake." I said. "Couldn't sleep." his answer was simple.
As we were done with are little awkward moment, I try to reach for the cabinets to get my cereal. "Need any help?" Shiro asked thoughtfully. I was pretty short, but Im taller then Pidge. I tried to tell him im fine but he grabbed my sides and lifted me up. I started to blush, he was so strong. I grabbed the cereal box and he put me back on my feet.
We both stare at each other again but instead I was blushing pink. Until, Shiro started to chuckle, I started blushed harder. "Whats so funny?!" I started to get pouty at him. "You look so cute when you blush." He finally said, he pushed a piece of my hair away and tucked it behind my ear. I started to freak out inside, on the outside I was still like a statue.
Then out of the blue, Shiro pulled me towards him and kissed me. My face was bright red, I wanted to break away but at the same time I wanted this to keep going. The kiss was passionate and filled with love.
We broke the kiss and stared into each others eyes, he was so nice to me, I never thought he would do anything like this.
"I love (y/n)." Shiro said lovingly and kissed me on my red cheeks. I didnt  say a word put pulled him in for another kiss.
Until, the door began to open, Shiro and I broke the kiss and let go of each other. Lance strutted his way into the kitchen wearing his blue robe. "Good morning." Lance yawned as Shiro and I stood side by side awkwardly.
I wave to him, grab my cereal, and walk away. I look behind me to see Shiro smiling at me, this was the start of something beautiful.

(A/N: ok, so this is my first time doing a self insert/fanfiction so its not that great, but I hope you enjoy it)
