"Take deep breath Babe.... Deeeeeep breath..... Don't be a angry yaar.... It happens this is just start my love. You have to work hard to reach a position you won't get it directly into your platter..... So patience banta Hain na jaan.... So take deep breath and relax" explained a boy with calm voice and with a lovable smile which melted the girl and finally smiled calming herself down, "This is not fair Manik.... You always make me calm down. How could you do that. Agar main tension nahi lu tho main page kaise badungi?" Pouted at atlast. To which Manik kissed her pout making her smile even more wider, "well my dear Nandu.......if you take this unnecessary tension then to won't be able to go ahead in your career instead think necessary thing like how to present yourself, your grooming and all and by the way untill unless this Manik is there with you, you will be going getting only success" saying he pecked her forehead but he got a solid punch on his back. Looking t the person he just made an annoyed face and turned towards him folding his hands near his chest, "what, why did you punched me am I your personal punching bag?"

"Dua kartha ki khaash aise hota" replied the person Nandini looked at the person and giggles to which Manik and the person looked at her with a smile. Well the person winked at her, seeing that Manik punched the person on his stomach

"Saale she is my girlfriend door rahe usse" warned Manik

"And do you think I will listen to your not so serious dhamki and will move away from my bestfrnds life then I am sorry to burst your bubble it won't happen ever," shrugged the person and smirked hard looking at Manik., "Waise ek baat correct karni tho tumari voh bhashan main which you gave to Nandini," Manik raised his brow in confusion, "yahi ki it's not only you but even I will help her to go ahead in her life." But suddenly he went towards Nandini and sat in front of her on the knees and asked, "why aren't you taking my help pidi........you know right I will always be there with you and support you fir bhi?"

Nandini sighed hardly and looked at Manik to which he blinked his eyes in assurance, "Dev......I know I have you with me. Agar tum chahe tho I can act in your direction but it's just I want to act in your film when I have a name even if it will be little bit of identity. Just imagine when that I time a film will be released of your direction with me acting lead with any actor and the film becoming hit just imagine that scenario kithna sahi lagega na?"

Dev just smiled looking at her eyes but didn't say anything, "But I just said that I won't act on your films just for my initial contract but obviously you along with Manik have to groom me into an actress which the field want... So ISS kaam se no chutakara"

Both the boys looked at each other, "jaise aapki ichaa ma'am"

Saying both pulled her into their arms hugging each other with a smile latched on their faces.

It was almost 3 weeks to the talk they had and from that day Manik and Dev have talked to Nandini only for 4 times perfectly and that she didn't for once let them know what is going on at present. When both the boys planned to go to her house even that was locked letting them know that she isn't there. Frequently they tried to meet her but eventually got only negative response back. This thing was making them worry and plus a bud of anger was been created. They both were lot tensed thinking about her there was no update about her, what is she doing, how is she, where is she.. nothing.

Manik with a worry face, "Dev I am not getting any good vibe ohk.. for God sake we don't know where is she. This is heights of irresponsibility yaar. We are being stupid to worry about her. Usse koi farak nahi padtha...."

"Kuch tho Hain Manik tht she isn't sharing it with us. And upar see this Film industry is also not safe fully yaar. For new talents it's a lot difficult what we actually think about it as and apni Nandu tho fir bhi bahut innocent Hain. Yaar kuch patha nhi kya kru" said Dev sighing. Manik just pressed his shoulders to which Dev just nodded but suddenly Manik got a call by Nandini Seeing it they calmed down. They sure was angry with her but more than that they re worried for

"Manik, phone speaker or rakh and baat Kar "

Manik just nodded and picked up the call keeping it in speaker started shouting without letting anyone speak, "what the hell Nandini is this the way you behave to me and Dev, koi fukat Hain bhi ya nahi...... We are so worried over here and you re not even responding to our calls aisa bhi Kya busy ho ki you are not even answering or replying to us? Abh will you open up your mouth and speak? Ki uskeliye bhi muhurat nikalu?"

"U.mmm... well I am not someone whom you know" now listening to the voice both the boys looked more shocked and started panicking. Dev just panicked, "who are you and where is Nandini, how did you get her phone, where the hell is she... Will you speak up?"

The caller finally thought to end their tension, "Dekho Bhai sahab, your girl is safe but a little bit drunk and she is in our bar i.e blue ocean bar. She is murmuring something and I heard some Manik and Deb's name so gathering courage I asked her phone which she gave it to me and I called you.so sir please come here and take her away it's not safe for the madam to sit over here some specially in bar. I will wait till you come"

Boys just hang up the call and rushed towards the location. They reached the place and ran inside and started to search and finally got to see her sitting on a couch and drowsing off and a young boy sitting beside her with a decent distance between them. Manik and Dev rushed towards her and shakes her she stirred in her sleep and looked at the person who woke her up with an angry face oy to pout in return asking, "Dev? Manik? What are you doing here?"

Manik just picked her up in his arms without saying anything and motioned Dev towards the boy who was looking t both of them. Dev just nodded and thanked the boy and collected Nandini's Things and joined Manik. He looked at Manik who was sitting at the back side along with Nandini who was sniffing murmuring something out if their league to understand they just drove if to their flat.

Manik took her inside his bedroom and changed her clothes making her fresh giving a little sponge bath to her. She just slept off in tired news. Manik just sighed kissed her forehead and went and accompanied Dev. Both were in their own thoughts thinking, why would Nandini drink so high, what might have happened so? To loose control. Thinking all this they dozed off. Next day Dev woke hearing something falling down and realizing it from Manik bedroom he rushed inside to see Nandini holding her head in her tight grip and wincing in pain. He just turned around to see Manik bringing lime water and forwarding it to Nandini. She just looked at both the boys who had blank look on their faces with out saying anything she just drank the entire thing in one go. She stood up gathering her things went to take a cold shower to refresh herself.

After gathering a lot of courage she came outside the washroom to see both Manik and Dev sitting on the bed waiting for her. Listening to the opening of the door both looked at the direction to see Nandini playing with her fingers in nervousness.

Manik just stood up and held her hand and drag towards the bed and pushed her on it and yelled, "where were you for entire 3 weeks? Just 4 calls to me and Dev? Like seriously what the hell do you think of yourself, Nandini is this the way you will behave with your bestfrnd and me? Do you know what we have gone through you were fucking not attending our calls and not replying to any of our messages..... And finally when we thought that you called us only to listen some boy saying about condition being drunk.... Are you mad ? Bolthi band Hui? Kuch bol kyu nhi rahi ho...... Humesha tho you always bhak bhak aaj Kya hua say something damn it!!!"

Nandini was just sobbing she knew mistake was all hers so she didn't even tried to change it. But even she was frustrated with all the things she saw in past 3 weeks. DEV Just sighed and walked to towards her held her both the hands in his grip and slowly asked her, "Kya hua?"

That was the only question she needed tht lovable voice which would calm her down. She just bursted into cries and hugged Dev sitting on his laps digging her face in his Necks. Seeing this Dev just tightened his hold on her and looked at Manik with an helpless face. Even Manik was shocked to see her crying like this. He just went towards them and rubbed her back... Soothingly. After some time. She broke the hug, "I know I have Disturbed you and troubled you both. But it's just I had got three contracts in this three weeks"

"Ha tho yeh chi baat Hain na. You are getting the start usme ithna sab kyu?" Asked Dev calmly.

"But before signing the contract they all Just need me. And if am not ready then they said that they won't even allow me to enter this industry ever again. I was just shattered hearing it Dev, it's not that I was fully broken but they even tried to broke into my house that's the reason I wasn't their in my flat" she just looked at her laps and was twirling her fingers Manik just held her hand her, "you should have called us na Nandu!!!"

"I wanted to call but...I think they were tracing my Number... Soo I didn't want to drag into this" Nandini shuttered while saying.

"Nothing matters to us more than you pidi. Please don't do such thing plzzzz.....Tere liye na hi sahi humre liye tho apna khayal rakh. We don't have anyone other than you" said an emotional Dev

"I am sorry Dev I won't do such thing........".  Later looked at Manik and pouted," I m sorry na I won't repeat Nandini promise"

Manik just chuckled and hugged both of them from behind. But suddenly broke the hug and turning seriously, "acha ohk on a serious note I want to discuss a way for Nandini to sort this issue.... Can we talk about it.like this more cases may come. But before that we need to make her portfolio strong. And need to try not only in this industry but also other industries too. So tht there will be someone who would seriously look free talent other than these stupid things" suggested Manik

"Well I think this is also a best idea but for that we need to create something strong so that along with the looks, they can see her talent too..... Koi idea Hain kaise karke?" Thought Dev and said.

Nandini was looking at them with a smile. She got down from Deb's lap and sat beside him and slowly whispered, "I think we can go for every type of characters photo shoot with different expression of each.... And there are lots of small production house where short stories and video songs are been released. So I can approach them for a chance in every language and may be I can get chance and the photo shoot pictures can be viraled through my social sites tagging the production houses and other directors. I think kuch na kuch hoga!"

Both Manik and Dev where looking at Nandini with a blank face which tensed Nandini but suddenly they hugged shocking her and yelled, "this is the best idea"

"I will do your photoshoot, Dev can look after your portfolio.....and can apply for production houses from Nandu's account?" Manik asked with carefully tone.

"I only trust you with this Manik you will be only one who will do my Photo shoot... I won't any other person. For this main part. And Dev can do that. But main Kya karu?" Nandini asked in confused tone.

"Tum chip chap baito and bus follow our orders bakhi ka we will do" smirked Dev along with Manik and Nandini pouted in anger.

After that main discussion Nandini had this strong vibe of positiveness. She knew she will be getting something for sure. And even if she doesn't then she won't be like a cry baby she would think that it was not written in her date and would move on. She just know that no matter what she have her Boyfriend who is a struggling photographer and her best friend a film director. If she wanted she could have taken his help for becoming an actor. She would have been famous but she also knew that it would bring lots of rumors into the industry saying that she have a string background so she got easy success. Just to avoid such rumors she is determined to start from starting. As per said Manik started her photo shoot with characters such as being a teacher, doctor, singer, dancer, politician, feminist, strong headed girl, weak girl, police officer, a victim of rape girl, a patient, each ND every role she could prefer was been photo shooted by Manik which turned into a excellent photographs. Her anger, cry, tensed, happy, sad, Panick and every emotions were also been taken those photos were been circulated and sent to the production houses of South indian industry, North Indian industry and west side of India too..... DEV helped her by contacting every production houses who takes care of video albums and short stories. And luckily she got an offer from South Industry for short films and video albums.

Dev was happiest to know the offers she was getting but our Manik was a possessive man for his girlfriend so was jealous what if it would be a romantic track and all but keeping it side he suppressed it and allowed Nandini. She didn't say anything about the story track and decided to call them directly during the promotion time.

"If you didn't come na tho just remember that I won't talk to you anymore. This is my first project tht would be going on social media and if you won't there tho Kya fayda.....Manik yaar bolo na Dev ko... Please. I want you both in my every start please..... Dev" lastly she started to chock in tears Manik hugged her in a side ways and glared at Dev, "Dude if you won't come the. Even I am with Nandini. This is her first project na please yaar. Kya natak Kar raha Hain"

"Are yaar already yeh chahithi he ki Meri dost Hain kisi ko ptha nhi lagna and she even wants me too come. How is that possible?" Dev asked raising his eyebrows.

"Abeee.... Tum kahi ke director ho? Aaao na buddha admi ban Kar. You might get these things so easily. I don't know anything. I am going.... today sharp at 6pm at Royal star convention center."

Saying she dashed out. Manik looked at and shrugged saying, "maan ja uski baat you know she is jiddii, Chalo main short nap lene ja rha hu".

Dev just shooked his head in disbelief, "ajeeb Hain sab"

Nandini was looking at the entrance and muttering, "This two will make me crazy with their behavior. I hope last moment main cancel na kare..... Aiyooo sab acha jayga na?"

Suddenly she gsoed out loud hearing someone speaking, "everything will be alright, after all Nandini Murthy is a lucky charm for us so why wouldn't it be for herself?"

"God Dev what the hell" whispered yelled at him but when she turned it was some man with huge moustache, with a formal look and spectacles. She knew it was Dev so she giggled to herself seeing him like that and looked back to see even Manik giggling With her. Dev whinned, "yaar ek tho I have to come in this get up and look at you. You are making fun of me yaar, it's not done. And you Manik I will not allow you to stay with Nandini today at night dekh Lena" listening to his threat Manik stopped laughing at once making Dev smirk. Anyways Nandini just hugged Dev tightly dragging Manik in that hug too, " I am the luckiest girl in this world to receive a best friend like you Dev and boyfriend like you.... I am INCOMPLETE WITHOUT YOU Guys. Please don't leave even if I do anything wrong"

Dev and Manik tightened the hold on her and whispered, "you are our Lifeline. Answer can't stay away from you"

But their moment was interrupted by a spot boy calling Nandini for the promotion of her first ever Short Film. She just looked at Manik with teary eyes. He just chuckled seeing her kissed her forehead assuring her. Seeing the scene Dev smiled and cleared his throat, "guys stop your pda and move from here... And yes all the best pidi......be calm"

Saying he dragged Manik along with him who was whining and Nandini moved to place where she was needed giggling.

After almost one hour the promotion introduction it was finally the time where the shirt film would be shown all the three were excited for the same. Nandini was nervous thinking about Maniks expression but she kept her. Fingers crossed and hoped for best.

Manik was more excited to see his girlfriend performing. He wouldn't speak much but his eyes were a enough to show his emotions. Dev was just waiting for the time to get over and look at the work. His pidi worked on finally the area turned back and the film started.

So the story was all about a cheerfull girl who got married to a introvert and orthodox Man. She was happy in her initial days if her marriage but slowly and gradually her husband used to Insult her with words and later on with slight beatings which turned into torcher. She was abused physically and one day when her mom and the man's mom saw her in that position they got to know the situation and rescued her from the man hold and filed a case on him. He was sent to jail. Even though the man's mom was sad. But seeing her daughter in law and being a lady she is she supported the truth. Slowly the girl was turning into normal and started her work as a story teller person to the nation and gained name. In last the film ended with, "No matter whatever happens we should always. Remember one thing that this is our life and women's need to be strong for protecting herself. Her self respect and dignity is not more than the values she might have learned from her birth. To protect yourself you need to be strong enough to fight with the odds"

This was the end of 15mins short story. The story showed how the girl was a happy go lucky girl to how she was being abused by her husband by beatings and all and last her successful ending.

What shocked the public was the way Nandini had portrayed the girls character everyone were so into the character and lots of people loved Nandini's acting.

Manik was just sitting like a statue so was Dev they both couldn't decipher what they want to say. They just whispered, "she was awesome"

That was the start of Nandini's career the film was an average hit of 50k views in YouTube for the starting it was good. Slowly and gradually she started to get lots of short film offers and album songs too.... And in between Dev and Manik were giving her the applications of auditions taking place for the big projects. She used to go but it was like she was not yet prepared to face it.

But instead of taking it in a negative way she took it in positive and started her journey. Manik would as usual used to take her photo shoot and used to upload on her sites with perfect captions. He used to jealous as hell whenever he sees her romancing with her reel heros. But I return Nandini always used to make it up for him which makes him happy seeing her effort to be with him. Dev was always being a good best friend whenever she needed him he would always there with her. Even if he needed to get up in an attire to go infront of everyone.

But in all this what they noticed was all her projects were from South Industries. Finally once Manik brought an audition firm of a South film the details weren't there but it was known that it was a big project. Nandini was reluctant to go to Chennai for the audition but Dev gave her his swear which eventually she followed and went away alone, even Manik was not able to accompany her due to his other professional duties. What was the plus point was it was in her own Mother tongue.

Finally when she arrived at the audition center there were only 10 girls for audition. Even then she was nervous but chuckling and thinking positive she went forward. The scenario she got was to act like a typical badass married girl who is bold with her every approach.

It was so her. So she could easily do that. The directors didn't say anything and just replied in one statement, "will inform you if you are selected then"

She rushed back to her hotel and called Manik who picked it up in the second ring itself. And without letting her speak he started, "how was your audition,? Sab ache the vaha? No one miss behaved with you right? What did they say? Did you get the project? Why aren't you speaking?"

But before she could say anything, she was again interrupted in between by Dev, "Abe dhakaan usse kuch Boone dain."

"Opps ohk Nandu bolo na yaar!!" Saied and impatient Manik.

Nandini giggled, "it was all ohk. no mis behaved with me everyone were good bus 10 Jan the. Audition k liye. I just have to act like the scenario they gave and I acted that's all.yhey said that they would call me if I am selected then. Let's see what happens."

Like this they continued their banter and didn't even get to know when two hours passed. But suddenly Nandini's phone rang with an unknown number. She looked at the caller ID and then at Dev and Manik.

Manik, "uttalo...."

She nodded and picked up.

Phone conversation

"Hello........Yes..........ohk sir...... Really?...... Ohk sir..... Ya suree.... Thankyou sir Have a good day"

She hang up the call and looked at Manik and Dev who were looking at her. She just looked at them with a faint smile and a year drop fell from her eyes. Seeing this both the boys panicked

Manik, "Nandu Kya hua? Why are you crying kon tha call min?"

"Pidi what happened say na Kya khaha caller na and upar see kon tha?" Asked Dev

"It was a call from the director and said that I am selected for this movie project" said so slowly that if they wouldn't have given attention to her then it would have been missed by them.

"Whatttttttt!!!!! Really?" Yelled both of them. Nandini just looked down crying and said, "finally a movie that to a big project and the main Part is that I am acting with SURYA., But....."

"But?" Asked Manik and Dev simultaneously.

"I won't be able to come there for 3 months. I have to stay here till the project get over. How would I meet you guys?" Said Nandini sniffing in between making them smile

That was the biggest turning point for Nandini that movie brought so much fame in her fate that she was getting more bug projects and most of them was turning into hits. And she was being called from almost all South Industries for the movie. In all this there would be scenes were she have to be cosy with the actors. She was always uncomfortable Sharing it with others. And this time it was Manik who used to assure her about the things and making her string and slowly it was turning like it was nothing to her. But in all this increasing fame. She didn't left two pair of hands that used to hold her in her every fall. There was a big fat rumors saying that she was in a relationship with other actors. Manik was not that affected because he knew about the industry through Dev but Nandini was so angry that she almost misbehaved with the media's. But later on the rumors died down because she had unofficially announced that she is committed and is going to marry soon. But is not from the industry. That was the stop the rumors of relationship.

And finally she was standing in front of the world, receiving and award for best actress acting fir the MOVIE directed By DEV DIXIT her best friend. She was not able to control her smile. Manik was looking at her with pride and Dev with twinkling eyes.

Nandini, "Well this award should be not mine actually. It Should be given to two main persons of my life. If they wouldn't have been there with me. I wouldn't have reached here. Receiving a best actress award. Exactly almost six years before I was not there I this industry and was just wandering around for chances and now look at me now where I am. All thanks to my bestest friend Mr. DEV DIXIT and my Husband MANIK MALHOTRA. Nobody knows but Dev dixit is my best friend from childhood. I could have taken a direct ladder to reach here but I chose this way of hardwork making them both proud on me. And I think I am successful in that. I am INCOMPLETE WITHOUT YOU BOTH don't ever leave me"

Saying she got down and went towards them and forwarded the award towards them. Dev looked at her and took the award and hugged her and Manik hugged her from back hugging her from back.

She slowly without letting anyone hear asked, "should I say something?"

Both just hmmmed

"Dev you are getting promoted to MAMA and Manik you are getting promoted to a PAPA" Finally she exploded the bomb on them.

Manik just tightened his hold and digged his face on her beck and Dev broke the hug and looked at her with a smile.

She just nodded and then she heard Manik, "I love you Nandini Manik Malhotra"

"Even I love you too Manik Malhotra...."

"Hey even I love both of them actually three of them....."
