What is Marriage?
Is it completely arranged by our parents or is it love after marriage? How do girls cope up with this marriage jitters? Do even boys feel the same nervousness? How do they manage to calm themselves down?

I don't know what actually marriage is from everyone's point of view, for me it's a purest thing which can be gifted to a girl. Its her new family, whom she can love as if it is her family and the family who will love her too, for me it's a bond where I can be myself infront of my life partner without being judged that what he will think about me, I can be childish, I can act like a fool, I can fight, I can cry and even throw tantrums, like I said I can be myself. It gives an assurance that he will always be mine and I will be his. Who needs anything more? Knowing that my soon to be husband loves me a lot....even though he didn't say those words to me but I am not too naive to not understand what does he feel about me.

Mine is neither an arranged marriage nor a love marriage infront of the world. But before you guys know what is it. You guys need to know who I am, from where I am and what am I doing....

Well I am Nandini.... Nandini Patel... Naam tho suna hoga... Aisa i wouldn't say, but yes you guys might heard about the famous Rajendra Kumar, MD & CEO of PRIYA ENTERPRISE. Now I hope you got to know who I am... The elder daughter of Rajendra Patel, but most funniest part is world doesn't know about me. And the Patel couple, Mr. Rajendra Kumar and Mrs. Shilpa Kumar currently have only one daughter who is PRIYA Kumar and their elder daughter i.e me is no more as I am dead infront of the world. But the most happiest person hearing that news was none other than me....

Well why am I happy then I will say a story.

Patel Family who is known to the whole world. But there are somethings which isn't known to anyone but only the family members. Well the family was not the billionaire type family but can say that they belonged to high middle class family . The senior most person whom I know from childhood was Manohar Patel, My grandfather and his wife Seeta Patel ,my grandmother. They were one of the most lovely couples. They have only one child which was unfortunately my mother Shilpa Patel. My mom is a very down to earth person who only knows how to love and to respect every relation. Then came Rajendra Kumar, again a middle class family man. But obviously now more than my dada (grandfather). Shilpa and Rajendra eventually fell in love with each other and later on they even married each other which is eventually a love marriage. Shilpa being the only child the properties were given to Shilpa. Shilpa and Rajendra they were happy and their the couples soon became parents. My grandparents used to say that the whole family was so happy of my entrance that I was mostly pampered from all the sides and was really a spoiled brat too. During this time the company business was running and getting famous in a faster rate and it was one of the top companies of India. Almost after 6 years again mother was pregnant and again it was girl and they named her Priya... I was the happiest because I got someone whom I can pamper and I was doing the same. As she was a small kid mother and father were giving their required attention and even I was not that kid who gets jealous and all. This is what my grandparents used to say. But when priya turned 3 years..... I didn't knew that my most beautiful and happy life would turn into my rest of the nightmares. Once when we were playing around me and my sister priyu.... She fell down all of a second and started to cry...I ran towards her to see what happened but I was roughly pushed away before I reach her by my father. I was hurt by the push in my forehead.

I didn't knew what exactly happened but my father and mother didn't even looked at my wound they were more concerned about Priya. My wound was treated by my grandmother. And the best part was after that mother came to me and was shouting at me angrily saying as if it was my mistake.That wasn't the only incident ,whenever priyu use to get hurt I used to be the one who used to get beatings, bashing and shouting. Grandparents where always there to stop it but one day came when they left me alone in this whole world. It just increased instead of being their elder daughter I was like their personal maid, and even priyu was torturing me,but why.... I didn't do any bad with anyone, then why are they doing such things with me?, I don't know, slowly slowly I was used to all this and I didn't even try to fight back. This continued for 16 years and in all this the company's name changed to Priya enterprise.

I was completely locked up in that house. No one even asked me anything nor they took me anywhere outside. Even there wasn't a single family pic with me. I was completely. Taking the advantage of my value in the family, they made up my accident and infront of the world announced tht I am dead... So is there anything for which I can fight for...?

But finally I left that house because even though I didn't know whether mother and father knew it or not but priyu literally bought some of her friends and they tried to harass me.... From that day i made up my mind that there is no need for me to stay here crushing me and my life.

When mother and father went to their work, they ordered me to cook food for them and left for their work and then even priyu...opps sorry priya... also left with her friends, I always wanted to know what college life was like, but it seemed like i am too unlucky for it, but that time instead of thinking I just wrapped up everything, packed my necessary things and then left that hell finally.

But the main problem was what do i do now and where I would stay. I didn't know what to do. I kept on thinking and with an absent mind I was just walking in the middle of the road thinking about my life. How I was the most pampered one and how I became the most tortured one now. Without any mistake of mine, my parents and sister used to torture me, did they get any happiness on doing so ? or were they finishing their frustration on me. Whatever it was I was their daughter right?Priya helped her friends to harras her elder sister. How could she do that with all these thoughts? I didn't knew where I was but suddenly I was jerked, felt like something hard pushed me hurting me but that hard that I would die. But before I get to know about what happened due to my tiredness of my life and walking plus this push, I fell into darkness.

Suddenly her thoughts broke due to someone calling her.

"Honey!!!!" Called someone which held a concern emotion in it.

"Huh?" Nandini was brought back to her land,

"Nandu? Are you ok?" Asked someone while stroking her hairs..But nandini just looked at those orbs who have tons of concern available which brought a tear in her eyes she just smiled looking at the person and slowly held the persons hand pulled the person towards herself and hugged the person engulfing her hands through the persons waist and lovingly whispered, "Dev!!!"

"Yes honey what happened?" Ruffled her hairs and asked lovingly,

"Nothing dev, just was thinking about my life, and see now where I am. I am gonna marry him. I didnt even thought of this thing Dev, sometimes I feel that, this all is just a dream" said a scared nandini silently sobbing hugging him tightly.

"You know you are so precious for us Honey, tum bahut special ho... We three can't leave without you specially that stupid fiance of yours and myself... We both are alot attached to you.. so we won't let anything happen to you or let any problem reach to you so chill about it and be happy ok?" Dev was explaining to her like she is his kid only.

"Well tum kehna kya chahte ho? Only you and that duffer loves her, dude even I love her so don't say some adha adhura part yaar.... Vaise Nandu go and get ready... You just have 3hrs in your hands... Get up and freshen up... And you Mr. Dev Malik. Go and help your not so innocent brother." Said a girl pushing Dev outside the room and nandini giggling to it...

"Are yaar Mrs soon to be Sonakshi... You need not to push me I am going... And yes I tho forget asking you Honey?... Do you want to marry him... Abh bhi time hain if you want to run then I will help you" asked Dev in a very serious mood but his serious mood was easily turned to horrified one the moment he heard

"Agar tune aise falthu idea meri ladki ko..... I mean Nandini ko diya na.. I will kill you so get the hell out of her room and come with me" yelled Nandini's fiance ..

Hearing him Nandini blushed hard and rest both Dev and Sonakshi was giving them teasing smile. But before they could say something The boy again yelled, "Dare you both teased her, and Dev I will spill out everything to Nandini and Sona about you should I say it?"

Dev and Sona looked at eachother and yelled, "No... We are going" saying both of them rab away outside the room.

The boy turned around to go when Nandini said, "Manik!!!!"

He just turned and looked at her, "Haan bolo Nandini".

Nandini moved towards him slowly stretched her palm infront of Manik asking him to keep his palm in her which he obeyed, she held it firmly in her hands

"Manik you know you are a good person, you don't need to marry me just because of those news which public are saying about, society ka kaam hi hain bahut kuch bolna... But just because of that don't spoil your life marrying me" even though she knew what manik feels towards her but that small insecurity she have in her heart was why she asked this question and Manik being Manik got to know her situation and pulled her towards himself and hugged her resting his hands in her waist and Nandini palms on his chest.

Nandini unknowingly kept her head in his chest and listened to him, "You don't need to think such things nandini, you are special in our life's me, Dev and Sona can't imagine our life with out you...you re way to special and in that way I am happy to keep you locked in our life through this method and one more thing"

Saying he bend towards her ears almost kissing her earlobs to which she tightened her hold on manik closing her eyes absorbing his touch, and manik smirked seeing his effect on her.

"And vaise bhi I don't want anyother person to take what's mine. I am more possessive for those things which are mine and you are mine. Got it?"

Nandini just looked at Manik with those sweet and lovable eyes, she just leaned towards Maniks Face and kissed him on the corner of his Lips, manik just tightened his hold on Nandini's waist and smiled widely listening, "Manik I am yours...and only yours And I ..."

Manik paused her and said, "don't.... I know and will wait for it.....now go and change I want to see my bride looking beautiful..."

Saying he kissed her cheeks and went aways smilling and Nandini too blushed hard...biting her lips.

She just went to get freshen up and when she returned she saw make up artist stylist and all waiting for her, and it took 2 hours to get her self ready.

She looked at herself in the mirror and whispered, "is it really me?... Ain't I looking so beautiful?"

"Beautiful is a small word Honey, you look dead gorgeous and I doubt How manik will control himself in front of everyone not to take you there and there itself." Dev giggled

"Devvvvvv..... No na please don't tease me already I am so worried and you are just making it worse". Said a scared nandini.

"Kyu why are you getting nervous.... Already you have been in this house for nearly 6 months and you know how it is over here, all servents, kaka kaki loves you, I love you, even Manik loves you then kiss baat ka nervousness, you don't need to takae tension of anything, just chill and let the things go with the flow got it?" Explained calmly to Nandini

"But Dev staying like your sister and his friend will not be the same after I get married, I will be his wife and your bhabhi and that's whole together a different responsibility."

"Obviously you will be my bhabi.... But it's just infront of the wall. You and I know that you are my sister and will always be one. And rahi baat Manik ki wife baneki.... You always says na husband should always he a friend first then husband then here Manik is your friend first then your husband. So vaha bhi tension solved. So abh drop this topic and take a deep breath ok?" Dev kissed her forehead, but turned back listening

"I asked you to bring her down not to Gossip. For God sake, that boy is being literally impatient over there to see her and you both are wasting time in talking" scolded sonakshi. "Oh my god..... Aaj Manik tho gaya... Usse maarne ka iradha he kya Nandu...agar he tho I think you will be successful in that, you are looking so beautiful... Nazar Na lage"

"Abh kon time waste kr raha he?" Asked Dev raising his eyebrows towards Sonakshi. Nandini was just blushing listening to their talks. At last Dev held Nandini hands in his and lead her towards the mandap.

Manik's Pov

Marriage!!!! just imagine the boy who hates marriage is the only one who is getting married now. Life does a lot of things that automatically changes ones opinion. Love was one such thing in my life that I had promised myself that I won't love anyone neither do I will let anyone effect me. But who would think that one accident will change everything and see here I am waiting for my bride to come so that I can make her mine in a sense. The one I love from the bottom of my heart, the one I am possessive for, the one whom i want to spey rest of my life with, I didn't knew love will be so beautiful, I had promised myself that I won't love just because of my so called mom who used Boys only for her benefits and I seriously loathed the girls thinking all might be same like her, obviously leaving Sona... She isn't like that. And just because of that israt away from every girls so in this case even I can say that I unintentionally became a one man women...

What if My Nandini wouldn't have come infront our car and wouldn't have fell down hurting herself and falling unconscious, will we reach here till this place that is our marriage?.

Like she said everything happens for a reason and so was that accident occurred.

But wait.... Why all of a sudden there is a silence in the hall....

OH. MY. GOD.

She will be my death. How does she always manages to effect me everytime. How?.. this isn't fair yaar.

Pov ended

When Nandini entered the hall everyone's àttention went towards her making her more nervous, which lead to Tightening the hold on Dev

"Honey relax, just thing that it's just you me sona nd Manik no one else.....so chill" consoled Dev rubbing her back soothingly.

Nandini relaxed thinking that. That's when she felt a strong gaze on her, looking at the direction of the gaze her breath got stucked in between looking at the handsome man who was intensely gazing at her making her blushing to the full. She was mentally talking, "How can this boy look handsome every single attire he wears, abh tak I wasn't able to handle the girls swooning over him but this time i will only have the right on him. My handsome man"

They locked their gaze with eachother and when finally she reached the mandap Area, Manik forwarded his hand to which she held on to it and helped her to get in.

(I don't know how to write this marriage rituals and all so pardon me for not writing it in detail, as I am South Indian I don't know details of North Indian wedding. If any one of you can write it fir me then I will post it giving you the credits. So I m skipping the part)

And finally the marriage got over making the couple husband and wife for rest of their time. They knew that there will be time where they will fight with eachother, will have issues in their life but silently they vowed themselves tht whatever be the situation they won't let them part eachother, at the end they will find themselves in every part of their life.

Dev was the most happiest in all this. Because only he know how Manik was and seeing him happy he became so overwhelmed that without wasting a bit of extra time he hugged Manik with a his energy. A brother can feel the emotions of his siblings and here Manik got to know what Dev was feeling so he just tightened the hold on him and unknowingly a tear drop fell from his eyes but before it rolled down fully a small hands wipped it away with a smile. Manik looked the owner to lock his gaze on her. And sensing the gaze she just blushed hrd looking at other side.

"I am happy for you Manu.. I happy for you, I don't know what to say and how to say... I just know that I am the happiest person in this world now" said an emotional Dev hugging manik.

Manik just tightened the hug, "The credit goes to your honey...just because if her I am here and you re the happiest"

"True that" saying this being in the hug itself he pulled nandini towards them and Sandwiched her between the two big hulks. But does she have any complaint no.... She doesn't. If said better then she is the happiest staying in both the Arms. As she have always felt that safety under them.

Manik was hugging her from back circling his hands around her petite waist and Dev hugging her from front with his hands wrapped around manik's shoulder. Sona was feeling happy seeing them hugging eachother as she know how Nandini means to them so she let them stay in tht position but our Nandu won't allow that so little energy she took her hand out if them and got hold of Sona's hand and pulled her too in their group to which Dev Instantly hugged her waist pulling her towards him letting her blushing.

After all the after rituals of of marriage Both and Manik and nandini were send to their room so that they can Take rest with all the hectic day they have passed, Dev literally teased them... With a his might with Nandini blushing and Manik glaring at Dev with his monsterous gaze.

They entered inside the room and looked around seeing the decoration for them but before anything Manik, "Nandini go and change your dress, it might me heavy right?"

Nandini just nodded and went to freshen up and Manin just changed in the walk-in-closet and moved towards the Balcony and sat on the couch settled their waiting for Nandini.

And here Nandini just got freshen up and changed into Black Polka dots shorts reaching till her mid thighs and with Baby pink Sando.... Looking cute the only thing in her was her red chooda, mangalsutra and sindoor on her forehead looking cute yet hot in that attire. She went inside the bedroom and searched for manik but not seeing him anywhere she moved to look at Balcony to see him seating on the couch. She just moved towards him and kept her palm on his shoulder gaining his àttention.

Manik sensing the touch he just pulled her into his arms landing her on his lap and hugging her close to him. Nandini just layed on him and Manik just holded her in his arms

"Manik!!!!!" Whispered nandini

"Hmmm!"

"Agar me tumari gaadi ke saamne nhi thi tho? And kisi or ke gaadi ke saamne takrake.. kuch ho jaata tho?" Listening to her he just tightened his hold and said, "why re you thinking all those stuffs Nandini?"

"Do you remember those days?" Asked Nandini looking at manik

"Hmm" Manik just hmm and went on that when they met .

Flashback (manik's Pov)

This is insane. I am feeling like I would die this very moment.. why then let me say that this not so good brother of mine is all set to give me heart attack by driving rash tht to on the opposite road, are yaar this is one way road and he is driving through it... Kisi ko thok na dain..

"Dev why the hell slow down man, already I am pissed due to tht stupid girls and now you to don't annoy me more yaar"

"You are always pissed it's nothing new I just want to drive like this today without any tension and all plus it's midnight dude no one would be there so chill" he said like it's so casual I just feel like pulling my hair.

Suddenly I saw front only to pull the yell, "watch out dev, pull the break"

At the correct time he pulled the break but the person really got hit by out car not to hard but the person did fell down I hope he/she is not hurt. I so wanted to kill this dev I had warned  him but no. He won't listen...

I and Dev get down from the car to check the person only to notice that the person was a girl. When I turned her face towards us. Mt breath got stuck looking at the beauty. But it was not oy me who felt tht even dev felt it he stroked her face and caressed her face lovingly and said, "Manik look at her she is looking so innocent but why was she Crying?"

"Crying?" She was crying how did he came to know..

"Yes look at her face it have dry tears in her face... And look she even got hurt..I think we should take her with us!!!" Dev said but I was confused should we really do this?. I mean what if it's an act

But I was disturbed by dev, "Manik take her luggage too"

"Abh yeh luggage kaha se aaya?" I was now getting more confused.

"Look at your side manik she have her luggage to.you come na taking it"

Saying he picked her up and settled her at the back seat... Asking me to sit beside her. I was mentally yelling what with this boy. After sona it's the first time I am noticing such behaviour from him tht to for a girl. God I hope she is not tht dangerous

Saying we went to our house. Again Dev picked her up and went towards the door and asked me to open it. But before I could open the door opened with bang , "Where the hell were you guys.. kuch akhal he ki nahi.. you know kithni tensed thi main... Oh god to whom I am speaking too... You guys tho don't understand my feelings na but......"

But suddenly she paused seeing dev carrying a girl. She glared at dev, "who is she Dev? Why are you carrying her?"

"Baby let us come inside first then we will explain it to you ok?"

Saying he went towards guest room layed her down on the bed and again caressed her hairs lovingly.. loving way ok I think this boy is mad... Sona pakha gusse se lal ho rahi hogi. But when I saw Sona she was looking surprised

"Sona?!!!"

"Manik, look at dev he have those soft eyes looking at her... This is the first time I seeing him like this. Who is she Manik"

"Come I will explain it to you...."

Saying I went down to living room and explained everything to her

"Ohh let her get up first then will confirm it till then I think we shouldn't think positive nor negative things ok?" She said thinking.

Suddenly we heard dev coming down and sat in front of Sona and kept his head on her lap hugging her from waist. Sona just ruffled his hair and waited him to speak even I was waiting for him to speak....

And finally he spoke, "I don't know what's happening with me Sona.. but there is something in her that's strange I dont know but I am feeling little protective towards her"

"Why a of a sudden dev, is there anything you wanna say,?" I asked him before sona could

"Manik I feel like she is that small kid who needs to be protected so... But before anything let her wake up then will talk bout it ok?"

Saying he dragged sona with him to his room and I tok went to my room to take a short nap.

But all of a sudden I heard someone yelling and breaking things when I ran outside the bedroom o realised it was coming from the guestroom and I Guessed it was that girl who we brought. I ran towards the room to see she was crawling towards the corner of the room looking totally scared that was really a horrifying scene even Dev and Sona was there with me. Dev went towards her and seeing him she became more violent and was yelling throwing things at him, "No....no....no.... Ple...please don't hurt me... Do.. don't touch me... Please.....No...no....."

Seeing and listening to her he stopped in his tracks and same like him even I was confused what should we do now..? How can we calm her down but thinking all this I didn't notice how Sona was carefully movie towards...

"No... Please... No please no... I beg of you Please" the girl was literally crying...

"No one would hurt you kiddo... Look no one is there see no one will harm you...see here come on look at me" sona was trying to distract her from her panic attach I guess.

"No... No... Look they both are here only they will harm me.. please... No..."

"Dev, Manik go out of the room now...." Sona asked us to move out of the room

"But Sona....!!!" Dev tried to interfere but stopped listening to sona

"Dev!!!!"

"Ohk fine inform if you need anything" saying this he held my hand and dragged outside the room. But one thing I know was and unknowingly vowed myself that from that day I won't let any harm touch her.....

Suddenly his Pov ended feeling a pat from Nandini. He looked at Nandini who was looking at his eyes which were teary thinking bout the scene he remembered if hers.

"Manik what happened?"

"You know nandini I have seen lot of girls crying mainly faking it. But that day when I and Dev saw you like that we were literally scared thinking about the possibilities. We didn't know you a cent percent but we wanted to hide you in our world not letting anything harm you anymore. That day you eventually calmed down due to the pestering of Sona. But you were too uncomfortable with my And Dev's presence. More than me it was Dev who used to be worried. At first sona was really worried thinking that does he loves you or what but later on we get to know that the love he have for you was the love he wanted to shower it on his sibblings. I was unfortunately his elder brother so he was the pampered one but even he wanted someone whom he can pamper and you were the person he wanted as his sister. But asusual you were slowly and gradually coming out your world and was mingling with us when all of a sudden..." Manik stopped at last with tinge of anger in his voice.

But this time nandini continued, "but all of a sudden Mr. & Mrs kumar along with Priya kumar came with the proposal of marriage to you and when I saw them I again got panick attack.... Remembering those days and not to forget even they were bad mouthing me infront you three. But you know Manik... That was the last day I got panick attack. Because that day when I saw you and Dev literally trying to beat my so called dad. That day I realised tht no matter what you both will be there for me. And from that day I actually started to mingle with you both more offtenly and Dev Malik became my Chicku, Sonakshi Bose became my Sona and This Manik Malik became my monster.. and now my hubby too....." Ended with a smile on her face. Which eventually brought a smile on Manik's face too

"Haahaa.. monster aaa... Let me show what monsters do...." Saying he tickled her so hard that the whole mantion can here her laughter. But what they didn't realised was their position which was nandini laying on the couch and Manik on top of her  suddenly they noticed their position and instead of getting up. Manik leaned towards her face, and before he could kiss her, nandini kept her palm on her lips and pushed manik little bit up to which he scrunched his nose in annoyance

"Now what Nandini yaar" nandini smiled at him. Slowly raised her hands and circled around his neck and pulled him towards her and leaned towards his ears and whispered, "I love you Manik Malik. This Nandini Malik is deeply in love with you...."

Manik smiled brightly and without waiting for a second he kissed her and nandini smiled in between the kiss.... Feeling her smile. He replied with in the kiss, "Even this Monster loves you...."

But before they could do or say anything there came a voice in the background startling them.

"Even I love you both... And its mandatory that you both should love me to... Get it?"

"What the hell Dev... How did you get Inside the room?" Shouted manik angrily

"For your kind information our bedroom have connected balcony soooo... But leave that and say that you guys love me come on" whinned Dev keeping his hands on his hips...

Nandini giggled and opened her arms widely to which both the boys took each side and hugged her hard kissing her cheeks from other side whispering, "love you"

To which Nandini with teary yet a happy smile whispered tightening her hold on them, "this is my family right?"

"This is our family" replied both the boys.

"Sona?"

Dev answered, "she slept, but even she will be included soooon"

Both the boys hugged her and were talking sweet little things  and didn't even get to know when they slept hugging her in their arms.

And here Nandini smiled widely looking at them and thought looking at the sky,

"Shayad just because if this happy family I had to go through that he'll. But I think it's worth that living, if I get this heaven then it was nyc that I was in hell. Thankyou god for giving me this Wonderful family...."

Saying even she fell into deep sleep feeling safe in the Malik boy's arms.
