Virgil's POV:

We were taking a stroll in downtown Florida when it started to rain. Patton caught a raindrop in his hand. "Kiddos, maybe we should be getting back." He remarked. "Agreed. But we'll never get back home before we're soaked." Logan pointed out.

The rain was falling faster and heavier by the second. I got an idea and put my hood up. "Gee, thanks Dr. Gloom." Roman muttered. Then I let my wings rip through my jacket, causing gasps from the others. I spread my wings, creating a shield from the rain. My friends gaped at my dark wings.

"Well? Are you just going to stand there or did I rip my favorite jacket for nothing?" I snapped fondly. They huddled under my wings. After a while, Roman spoke.

"How are we going to get home?"
