chapter six
Lisa
It was the morning after, I'd stayed at Jennie's and in her bed. "Its a bit early Lisa." I shake my head, I was quite surprised she was awake. "Did you carry me into here?" Her face turned red, but she giggled in response. "Are we going to talk about what happened?" Jennie asked, her laughter disappeared, it was obvious she wanted to...
"I mean Jen, I don't regret it if that's what you're wondering." I say, trying to make her feel safer to talk about how it all made her feel. "I don't either, trust me. It's all new, I don't think either of us should be expected to know what to do from now." She says, and I hear her. "Carrying on like usual doesn't sound bad to me." I answer back, brushing hair away from her face. "Oh gosh Jennie, my bad." I say, touching the spot on her neck. She sighed already taking a guess at what was wrong. "Can't go back and fix that now. I'll work magic, no one will see." She says, giving me a reassuring smile.
I glanced over her shoulder at the clock sitting on her bedside table. "It's about time we get up and get ready." It's 6:28am, but the time we get to the studio is also relatively flexible.
Jennie
I raise my head and turn over to see the clock, I can't even find the energy within myself to outwardly express my disappointment. How have we already been so careless. "Lisa, my clocks broken. It shows time two hours behind." Her expression matched mine the first time I had ever realised my stupid clock malfunction. "Yang is seriously going to kill us, how are we supposed to explain that we are both late. With the same excuse may I add." Lisa was absolutely right, its not like we could go up to Yang and just blatantly admit we stayed the night together. That seems like the easy solution, but we aren't allowed in other members dorms for the night. Makes us 'restless' and 'distracted'.
I run my hands through my muzzled up hair, there was really no way out of this. I may have been stressing, but Lisa looked like she may cry... "I'm so stupid, I should've just left... Whether or not you tried of stop me." She hid her head in her hands, I scooted over to be next to her. I put my arm around her, I had a plan. "You go to your dorm Lalisa, I'll go to Yang and say you are really sick and you can't attend practice and stuff. I was here looking after you, alright?" She lifted her head and looked at me, she looked relieved.
"Are you sure Jen, will it work?" I nodded, I rubbed her back trying my best to reassure her. "What about that?" She asked pointing at my neck, of course plan A wouldn't work without plan B. "Makeup, concealer all that good stuff. Look, if its going to work at all I need to go now." Lisa looked upset that I had to leave her alone at her dorm, when she would be spending the day with us all at the studio. I place a kiss on her forehead before I head to the bathroom. Everything I need is in there, so I'm ready in a flash.
By the time I was done, no trace of Lisa or the beautiful night we had was left. She had gone, and it was time for me to go as well. This was all going to go accordingly, it's not so hard to believe. The situation as a whole though, I see why we were both a little stressed. The only people that would think harder about this were Chae and Jisoo, as if I wasn't going to tell them the truth anyways. They'd accept us, I knew they would. Even when you know people like that you still fear the unlikely chance they could feel differently.
