Lisa

"You said what excuse me?" I was close to raising my voice at Chaeyoung, she had just told me her biggest screw up yet. "She, wanted to know why you were being so closed off... It came out, and I don't regret it." I felt like crying into her shoulder, you can't make a bigger mistake then telling your best friend you're into them. "You know what, Jennie seemed to like it." And just like that, I could hardly be angry.

"Do you think, that she would ever date me?" Chaeyoung nodded, and she started laughing, or maybe that was fangirling, at the thought of it. "I could so get behind that, I know you guys well enough to know you'd be perfect together." I felt the heat in my cheeks rising, I was thinking of Jennie and I like that, she'd really be mine. "God, I really just want to be hers already..." I said to Rosé, she merely froze in her spot, she shouldn't be shocked because of that, its obvious. "Be whose?" I almost jumped out of my skin for god sake, it was Jennie Kim herself.

"Oh, hey Jennie." I said, trying to be casual, and I saw Chaeyoung take a step back. "I'll let you guys talk..." Rosé said before walking away, probably to find Jisoo, but I'm fine with her leaving us alone. Jennie completely ignored Chaeyoung though and had all eyes focusing on me the whole time. "Hey to you too Lisa." She said, breaking eye contact to glance up and down my whole body. It was weirdly comforting, to have your crush staring at you like a work of art.

Jennie

I was trying so hard to be tough, to get her to break, but it wasn't working. Instead, I was falling apart, almost melting with the thought of my new information... "Lalisa..." I trailed off, I could imagine my mind drooling, causing me to trail like that. "What's wrong Jennie?" Lisa asked looking down, avoiding my eye contact. Although, my eyes weren't looking into hers, not for the past while. "In just wondering whether you wanted to speak about what Chaeyoung told me." Or maybe we are both reading Lisa wrong, I could look really stupid.

"Damn uhm..." She began, and I could sense she was relentless to continue and uncomfortable. "You know what, I won't push this. I'll just head off to practice and see you later?" I asked her, hoping she would let me, I really had nothing else to say or do.

Lisa

I didn't want her to go to practice, I just wanted to go to her room with her and miss work today, but I secretly knew she wanted to go to practice. Jennie really values her time with choreographers, vocal trainers and anything else, even if it came down to what she wants against what she knows she needs. "Sure, I know you want to hang alone, but since we all dont really hang out often... Why don't all four of us hang out together?" Jennie nodded and smiled bright, it's all I'll ever need to see to know she's alright. It was the cutest and most prized feature on her, I hope she never changes her smile.

"Sure Lisa, see you later!" She walked away off to whatever training she had, it wouldn't be bad if I got a copy of her schedule after work. I already knew that she had Chaeyoungs, so it wouldn't hurt for me too have one as well. Thinking back a few minutes, I really should've just came out with my feelings. I can imagine how well we'd do if I just stepped up. But I care about Lisa and I have to take time with her, she means so much to me. And it's all settling in right now, it's only taken a nudge.

Authors Side Note

I'm realising how short these chapters are but there's not too much I can add to it just yet. Word count will be getting higher soon and they will take longer, but I'm prepared for that. I've already seen an increase in support on this book and it warms my heart, thank you everybody.
