This is my entry for WP_Poetry contest for the month of August 2018 (August has Flair) a limerick.

Fourteen lines of different rhymes, does make a sonnet,

And two rhyming rhythmic lines, would make a couplet.

Last words are a phrase, that's an acrostic,

Five of wit and humour, that's a limerick.

While mastering rhyme, rhythm and form, does make a poet.

I am slightly afraid that it is too 'tongue in cheek'; but then with me writing poems for the Poetry Gauntlet too, I was at my wits' end as to what topic I could write a limerick on and finally decided to do it on...poetry.
