Horseback Riding
After letting the fact that they were back in the real world settle in, Melanie and Stiles didn't waste anytime driving to Scott's house , hoping the pack was there, waiting for them.
The Jeep barely stopped before the two teens jumped out of the car, running into the house.
"Scott?" Stiles yelled as he bursted through the door. He looked around the empty house as Melanie ran passed him, heading straight for the stairs. "Scott! Belle!" Melanie screamed as she barged into her room. It was normal, just how she left it but the small mattress that was across the room from Melanie's bed that was for Belle was gone.
Melanie slammed her door closed and ran to Scott's room. "Scott?" She called out as she walked in but he wasn't there.
Melanie closed his door, running to Melissa's room. "Melissa?" Melanie asked, a small part of her hoping that the woman was there but when she opened the door, the entire room was empty. Nothing was there.
The Yukimura girl sighed sadly as she slowly shut the woman's door. She turned around to walk down the stairs but froze at Stiles at the end of the hall, sending her a sad, lopsided smile. Melanie frowned at the boy, shaking her head. "They're not here."
Stiles nodded, sucking in a breath of air as he ran a hand through his hair. "It's okay. We'll find them."
...
Stiles and Melanie ran into the Sheriff's Station and the two instantly skidded to a stop at the mess in the room. A deputy desk was thrown across the room and the window to see inside the Sheriffs office was shattered, glass all across the floor.
"Oh God." Stiles muttered, running into his dads office to see if the man was in there. Melanie slowly looked around the room, her eyes gazing across the broken glass until her eyes fell onto something pink and purple on the ground. The girls brows furrowed at the object and she slowly walked towards it
Her eyes widened once she realized what the object was. A small gasp left her mouth, catching Stiles' attention as she bent down to pick it up.
"Mel?" Stiles asked, watching the girl with furrowed brows as she stood back up, looking down at something in her hands. When she didn't answer, Stiles started walking out of his fathers office just as she let out a sigh.
"Mel, what's wrong?" Stiles asked again, leaning against the doorway of the office. Melanie slowly looked up at Stiles, a sad smile on her face. "This is Belle's." She whispered and Stiles' eyes went wide, quickly running towards her to look down at the bracelet as the girl shook her head. "Well, it was mine but I gave it to her the first time she snuck into my place. She... She told me about her dad and I didn't know how to comfort her. I gave her this because I knew she didn't like being hugged when she was sad."
"I guess it was really important to her." Stiles said and Melanie felt ehr heart drop, slowly looking up at him. "Was? What does that mean?"
Stiles looked down at her words and slowly, Melanie put two and two together and slowly looked back down at the bracelet sadly. "You think she got taken. That this is her totem."
Instead of answering her thought, Stiles pulled the girl into a hug, resting his chin on her head. "We're gonna find her. We're gonna find everyone." Stiles said and Melanie slowly nodded, sliding the bracelet onto her wrist.
Melanie slowly pulled away, looking at the broken glass on the floor before looking up at Stiles, sighing. "Guess there only one last place to check." She said and Stiles nodded. "The hospital."
...
Stiles and Melanie slowly walked around the quiet hospital. Key word:
Quiet.
It was never quiet at Beacon Hills Hospital and if it ever was, you know it's bad. Stiles and Melanie had checked the first two floors and were now doing a walkthrough of the third floor when a roar and a scream made them freeze.
"Parrish, you don't wanna do this. Stop!" Melanie and Stiles could hear Scott scream before Parrish's roars echoed through the air. Melanie's eyes went wide, looking up at Stiles who had the same expression as her. When the pair locked eyes, they instantly ran towards Scott's voice.
They stopped when they reached a doorway, the shadow of a man creeping into the room they were in from the hospitals flickering lights. Melanie slowly opened her hand out at her side at let a baseball bat grow in her hand, making Stiles look at her with wide eyes.
"My bat, really? Are you even gonna let me use it?" Stiles asked and Melanie pursed her lips as she looked down at the bat before she shook her head. "Nope."
"Then what do I get?" Stiles asked as Melanie let the first object that came to her mind appear in her hands. She smiled, handing Stiles a frying pan. Stiles gaped at the object, slowly taking it out of her hands. "A frying pan? Really?" The boy whisper yelled as Melanie shrugged. "Hey! It works!"
"The train is coming, boys." The shadow spoke and Melanie froze, instantly recognizing Mr. Douglass' voice as he continued. "There's no stopping the Wild Hunt. You'll make a fine Ghost Rider, Scott. And I'll have a true Alpha by my side." He said as he laughed.
Melanie's nose twitched in anger at the man's words, taking a slow step towards the door so she was right at the edge of the doorway, the baseball bat held up, ready to hit the man as he continued to speak. "And then a Banshee, a were-coyote..." He said and Melanie smirked, taking another step so she was visible to the man.
"How about a kitsune?" She asked and Mr. Douglass' head whipped to Melanie. "What—" Melanie cut the man off as she twirled the baseball bat in her hands before swinging it, hitting Mr. Douglass in the back of the head. Melanie glared at her teacher on the ground, growling slightly as Stiles came out from the room they were hiding in, looking up at Scott and Liam across the hall from them. "Bad guy, right? We didn't misread that?"
"And to think I thought that son of a bitch was pretty." Melanie muttered as she ran a hand through her hair, using her foot to turn Mr. Douglass around on the floor. The man's eyes suddenly shot open, glowing a bright red, making Melanie gasp, dropping her bat. "Oh, shit!"
Scott grabbed onto Parrish in front of him, turning to Melanie, Stiles and Mr. Douglass before throwing the Hellhound in their direction.
Stiles, seeing Parish flying towards them, grabbing Melanie's arm, pulling her against the wall beside him just as Parrish hit Mr. Douglass, the two of them falling to the floor.
Melanie watched Mr. Douglass and Parrish as she tried to catch her breath before she turned her head to see who had thrown the Hellhound, not even seeing who the "boys" Mr. Douglass was mentioning was.
Melanie felt her heart skip a beat at Liam standing a few feet in front of her. A big smile grew on her face as she slowly stepped out so she was in the middle of the hall. "Liam?"
The Dunbar boy, whose eyes hadn't left Mr. Douglass and Parrish, slowly looked up at Melanie and smiled, a sense of relief washing over him as he looked at the girl. "Mel?" He asked, his smile only growing bigger.
Melanie didn't hesitate to run to the boy, her arms immediately latching around his neck as she jumped into his arms. Liams arms snaked around Melanie's waist, his face falling into the crook of her neck as he took her all in. "You're back. I got you back." He muttered and Melanie smiled, pulling away just enough so she could see Liams face as she cupped his cheeks in her hands.
"I'm back." She muttered with a big smile. Liam smiled at her words, leaning down and pulling her into a kiss. The boy felt like he was about to be knocked off his feet, the feelings and the memories with the girl he was kissing slowly coming back.
When Melanie pulled away, Liams heart dropped slightly but when he opened his eyes and saw the girl smiling, his heart started to pick up again.
"I love you." Melanie muttered and Liam smiled, nodding his head as he smiled with her, leaning back down to kiss her again. "I love you too." He mumbled and just as their lips were about to meet, a voice broke them apart.
"Mel!"
Melanie looked away from Liam, making the boy sigh. When Melanie turned her head, her eyes locked with Scott's and Melanie let out a happy laugh, pulling him into a hug.
"Liam! It's so good to see you too!" Stiles yelled, pulling Liam into an aggressive hug. The Dunbar boy hugged back as he looked over Stiles' shoulder, his eyes going wide at Parrish slowly starting to stand up.
"Yeah, no, yeah! Good to see you, Stiles. But, uh..." Liams words trailed off as he pulled away from Stiles, Scott and Melanie pulling away from each other too to see what Liam was pointing at. Stiles let out a 'hmph' noise, nodding. "Okay. Yeah, we should go. Go. Go, go." He yelled and the four ran down the hall, Parrish not far behind.
"Can't believe I'm gone a couple days, the whole place falls apart." Stiles scoffed out as they turned down a random hall, Stiles abruptly stopping as he searched through a random broom closet.
Scotts gulped, looking at Liam awkwardly before slowly turning to Stiles. "You were gone for three months."
Stiles slowly walked out of the closet with a dropped jaw, flabbergasted by the boys words. "I was... What?" He asked before his face turned slightly angry, pointing at the alpha. "Okay, if they don't let me graduate, I swear to God..." He grumbled, running back into the closet as Melanie looked between Scott and Liam. "How long was I gone?"
Scott and Liam turned to each other again before looking back at Melanie, Liams face scrunching in worry. "About... two..." He said and Melanie's heart dropped. How was she gone for two months?
"Ah! I can't find it!" Stiles screamed from inside of the room closet before he ran out, pointing at the kitsune. "Mel? Can you make uh... uh..." Stiles' words trailed off as he forgot the word of what he had wanted. He shook his head, mad at himself for not remembering the words as he snapped his fingers as if it'd help.
After a few seconds, the word came back into his mind and he pointed at her. "A liquid nitrogen tank?"
Melanie's brows furrowed at the request, looking at him like he was crazy. "A liquid nitrogen tank?"
Stiles stared blankly at Melanie before nodding his head irritatedly. "Yes! Please!" Melanie looked at Stiles for a few seconds before she let a liquid nitrogen tank grow by her feet. Once it was completely there, Stiles let out a happy laugh, grabbing it as he nodded to himself.
"Okay, great! So I need this and uh—" Stiles was cut off by Parrish roaring at them on the other side of the hall, engrossed in flames. "Him." Stiles completed just as Parrish started to run towards the four.
Melanie let a second tank grow in her hands, turning to Scott and Liam. "Grab him. Grab him now!" Melanie screamed and Liam and Scott ran for the Hellhound, their hands going against his burning body as they pinned him to the man to the wall.
Stiles and Melanie quickly pulled the tab of the extinguishers and shot the foam at the man until he was no longer in flames.
Liam and Scott jumped away from the man, Liam patting his chest from the flames on his shirt. "God, ow!" Liam yelled and Stiles looked at him plainly, taking the extinguisher out of Melanie's hands. "Liam. Liam, you're fine."
Liam slowly calmed after Stiles' words before he huffed, turning to Stiles and Melanie. "God, that doesn't feel good. You know?"
A playful frown grew on Melanie's face as she grabbed the hand he used to pin Parrish down, slowly bringing it up to her face to kiss it, healing it as she held it and Liam healed himself as well.
Liam felt his heart practically melt at the girls action, feeling all giddy as all his memories with her came back, butterflies filling his stomach as he nodded sheepishly. "Yeah... I've missed you." Liam muttered and Melanie smiled.
A groan from Parrish on the floor made the two teens stop their conversation, looking down at the man. Parrish rubbed his head in pain, looking up to see who knocked him back to normal and his brows furrowed at Stiles and Melanie. "Stiles? Melanie? What are you doing here?"
Melanie saluted the man as Stiles sighed, shaking his head. "Buddy, love you, but we're way past that, okay? You gotta fill us in. What's going on?" Stiles said, patting the Deputy's shoulder aggressively. The man sighed, shaking his head in defeat as he sat up against the wall. "Douglas... He's merging the worlds so the Ghost Riders can cross over."
"Well, how do we stop him?" Liam asked and Parrish shook his head tiredly. "The train. It's coming."
Melanie looked at Parrish with a scrunched face, his words hardly helping them, only confusing her. "Okay, and how do we stop that?" The girl asked and Liams eyes went wide, turning to face Melanie. "You can't stop it. But you can divert it."
...
"First five hours back and I'm already back at school." Melanie grumbled as she, Scott, Liam and Stiles walked towards the school. Stiles groaned, shaking his head as he and Scott walked faster than the younger two. "Okay, how the hell do you merge worlds? Okay, nowhere in the manual does it say that werewolves can do that. And Scott and I pretty much wrote the manual."
Scott sighed, shaking his head defensively. "We can't even move between them, all right? Look what it took to break you out." He said and Melanie stopped walking, shaking her head as the three boys stopped to look at her. "We can't move between worlds. But Corey can. He can exist in both worlds. And he can take people with him." Melanie said and Liam instantly nodded in agreement.
"At Scott's house, he pulled a Ghost Rider into our world. At the lacrosse game he brought us into theirs. What if that's how Douglas is doing it? What if Corey's the key?" Liam asked and Melanie sighed, frowning slightly. "Oh, I miss Corey. Has he had someone to go on coffee dates with since I've been gone?" She asked, looking at Liam with worried eyes before Stiles whacked the back of her head. "Mel, stay on topic."
"Right. Sorry." Melanie muttered, shaking her head as Stiles turned back to Liam, pointing at him. "Now, as interesting of a theory that is, he's in there and we're out here. So the only way to save everyone now is to just divert the train." Liam nodded at Stiles' words. "We have to find him." He said and Melanie's eyes widened, a thought coming to mind as Stiles' brows furrowed.
"How?" The Stilinski boy asked and Melanie instantly spoke up. "I'll go back into the Hunt." She said, making the three boys whip their heads to her, Stiles shaking his head crazily. "Mel! We went through all this trouble to get out of the hunt! Now you want to go back in? I mean... it's not a pleasant option. You and I both knowing that." Stiles said, fidgeting at his last sentence, remembering the pain he went through when he got sent into the hunt.
Melanie looked down sadly at Stiles' yells, her line of eyesight landing right on horseshoe prints. Mel's brows furrowed at the prints, looking back up at Stiles as she shook her head. "I don't need to get taken to get into the Hunt." She muttered and Liam instantly grabbed her hand, looking at her worriedly. "I'm going with you."
Stiles nodded annoyedly at her words, scoffing as he rubbed his chin. "Okay. Seems like you got an idea, let's disc–" Stiles was cut off by Melanie squeezing Liam's hand tighter before running, following the horseshoe prints.
Stiles looked at the two with wide eyes, Scott chuckling slightly. "Where are you going?!" Stiles yelled and Melanie looked back at the boys, waving enthusiastically. "We'll be back."
Melanie followed the prints until she reached the lunch area, a horse standing in the middle of the grass. Melanie laughed, running up the stairs of the school so she was on the balcony, looking up at the horse from above.
Liam sighed as he stood beside her, shaking his head. "I hate horses." He muttered and Melanie smiled at the animal, turning to Liam with bright eyes. "I love horses." She said and Liam whipped his head to the girl, raising his brows. "Do you know how to ride?"
Melanie nodded, drumming her fingers on the balcony. "Yep. I'll go on first and then you jump on after me. Got it?" She asked and Liam nodded. "Got it."
Just as Melanie was about to climb over the balcony, a loud groan from behind her and Liam made them spin around. Melanie turned around, her eyes going wide at Theo fighting a Ghost Rider. "Theo?!" The girl yelled as Liam laughed slightly. "Hey, you made it out!"
"Yeah, barely!" Theo snapped at Liam before turning to Melanie, sending her a smile as he fought the Ghost Rider. "Good to see you, Mel. Now what's the plan?" He groaned out and Melanie looked over the edge of the balcony to the horse before turning back to Theo. "Uh, steal the horse and get to the Hunt."
Theo immediately looked back at Melanie, growling slightly but the girl couldn't tell if that was meant for her or the Ghost Rider he was still fighting. "You're kidding, right? I went through all this trying to get you back!"
Melanie pulled her lips into a line, not knowing what to say as Liam took an awkward step forward, looking at Theo with a confused glance. "You need a hand?" Theo rolled his eyes, nodding his head to the balcony. "I'm good. Just go already!"
Melanie nodded, not even wasting time to run to the balcony. She climbed over the edge before she jumped towards the horse
She landed on it's back.
Melanie let out a exhale, shocked she had actually landed on the horse before she looked up at Liam who was now on the edge like she was.
"Come on, Liam!" She yelled and after a few seconds of hesitation, Liam jumped, landing right behind Melanie. Liam let out a shocked laugh, his had finding Melanie's waist, holding it tightly.
"And you're sure you know how to ride a horse?" Theo yelled from the balcony and Melanie laughed, nodding her head. "I've done this before, Theodore!" Melanie yelled, sending Theo a thumbs up, giggling slightly at her unintentional rhyme. Theo chuckled at the girl, shaking his head as the horse started to run, the faint sound of Liam yelling and Melanie's laughs echoing through the air.
...
Belle, Hayden, Mason and Gwen had circled the station around 5 times in search for Corey. After Belle, Hayden and Mason showed up, they ran into Gwen who told them she knew about the supernatural and had seen Corey about an hour before they had arrived.
When horses neighing echoed through the station, Belle, Hayden and Masons eyes went wide as Gwen stuck her arms out in front of them, dragging them back so they were out of the horses ways. "Get back!"
The four watched as a single horse ran into the station and when they saw who was riding the horse, they all smiled.
"Mel!" Belle screamed and Melanie's head whipped in the direction she heard her name, immediately pulling the horse to a stop. "Oh my God! Belle!"
Melanie jumped off the horse as Liam slowly got off, slightly terrified of the animal. Melanie ran into Belle for a hug, the two girls rocking back and forth. "I missed you." Belle muttered and Melanie smiled, hugging her tighter before she pulled away and smiled.
"I missed you too. I have this..." She said before slowly taking Belles bracelet off her wrist, sliding it onto Belles. The Parker girl smiled at the bracelet, glad to have it back when two people suddenly hugged Melanie.
The Yukimura girl gasped at the action turning her head and quickly hugging back when she realized it was Hayden and Mason. When the two pulled away, she was drowned with apologizes from the two, saying they were sorry they forgot her but Melanie just shook their words off laughing as they continued.
When another body stood beside Belle, Melanie smiled, tilting her head. "You're gonna stay? You can go with your sister." Melanie told Gwen but the girl shook her head as she smiled. "I'm not leaving anytime soon." She said and Belle laughed, elbowing the girl. "Yeah, well then you're stuck with us."
"Attention, all passengers. The train will be arriving in nine minutes."
Melanie looked up at the speaker at the sound of voice, her brows furrowed as she shook her head. "That voice. I heard it last time I was here. Does it sound familiar to anyone else?" Melanie asked and Mason let out a happy laugh, pointing at the Yukimura girl happily. "See?! Someone else knows it's Corey too! I just don't know where it's coming from!"
Melanie's eyes widened at Mason's words, nodding her head slightly. "I know where that's coming from." She muttered before immediately turned around and ran towards the room she and Stiles talked to Scott and Lydia through.
When Melanie opened the door, her and the others froze at what was in front of them. Right across the room from the six of them stood a sickly pale Corey, wires wrapped around and inside of him with a mic that was impaled through his back sat right by his mouth.
"Attention, all passengers. The train will be arriving in eight minutes." Corey spoke numbly as his eyes fluttered from the pain.
Melanie ran towards the boy, the rest of the teens after them as Hayden shook her head. "Okay, we need to unplug him. We need to just get him out of this thing." She said and Belle nodded. "I'll start with the big one. I'll pull it quick. It'll hurt, but Corey can heal. And Mel can heal him."
"Probably don't start with the big one." Melanie suggested and Belle looked at her hesitantly for a few seconds before nodding.
"It's okay. I'll heal." Corey muttered to Mason but he shook his head, still hating this idea. "Promise?" Mason asked and Corey nodded. The Bryant boy slowly turned to Belle, looking at her with pleading eyes, knowing if he'd want these wires out, she'd take them out.
"Do it." Corey muttered and Belle nodded, grabbing the smaller wires from his arms, ripping them out as Melanie ran her hands over the wounds, healing them as her fingers passed the holes.
Once Belle finished the first arm, she went to do the same to the second arm as Liam and Hayden jumped in, getting the wires in his legs. Mason shook his head, tears spilling in his eyes as he watched Corey. Gwen looked at the boy sadly, pulling him into a hug so he didn't have to watch the scene in front of him.
When Belle, Liam and Hayden finished the smaller wires, Liam and Hayden slowly stepped back as they looked at the last wire, the biggest wire.
Belle gave Corey a sad look that the boy just shook his head at. "Do it."
Belle pulled her lips into a line, grabbing onto the last wire from behind his back befrei pulling it out.
Corey let out a scream, falling forward and Melanie instantly caught him. "It's okay. We're gonna be okay." Melanie muttered as she hugged the boy tightly, healing him as she did so to keep him awake.
...
After the barrier to the train station breaking, everyone was freed and continued on with life as if nothing had happened.
Scott and the older kids graduated high school and were starting the rest of their lives. At the moment, Stiles was leaving Beacon Hills, heading to Stanford to help Lydia unpack but he told Melanie, Belle, Liam and Mason he couldn't leave without having an important talk with them.
"Okay! So, Liam, since you're the new Alpha—" "I'm not an Alpha." Liam interrupted and Stiles pulled his lips into a line, nodding his head. "Right, but, you know, Alpha-in-training."
"Still feel like that should be me." Belle muttered and Stiles turned to her, getting frustrated with being interrupted again. "But it isn't." Stiles answered bluntly. Belle rolled her eyes, seeing Liam look at her out of the corner of her eyes, she turned her head and saw the boy wearing a playful smirk before he stuck his tongue out at her.
Belle scoffed, pushing Liam back by his forehead, making the boy stumble before Melanie grabbed his shoulders, keeping him up. When Liam was standing up straight again, Belle sent him a glare, crossing her arms over her chest like a toddler not getting what they wanted. "You just said you didn't want it, asshole."
Stiles cleared his throat loudly to stop Belle and Liam's bickering. He clasped his hands together as he shifted his weight between the balls of his feet and his heels. "Since one of you is taking over as alpha, the most important thing you can remember is; Liam, Mason is always gonna be the one who's there to save your ass all the time and Mel would be the same for Belle. Vice versa... yada. Yada. Yada."
"Well, not all the time." Scott muttered, looking up at Stiles who squinted, nodding his head. "Most of the time though. Which is why... I think you're gonna need this." Stiles said as a dopey grin grew on his face as he handed Mason his baseball bat. Mason took the bat, looking down at at it with a slacked jaw before he looked back up at Stiles, shaking his head slightly. "Uh... I don't play baseball."
Stiles' smile fell, letting out a small huff. "Right, neither do I. It's... It's not the point. Just take it. Mel can make things appear in her hands so she doesn't need the bat but you." Stiles said, pointing at Mason. "You do."
Mason looked between the bat and Stiles before Belle cleared her throat, leaning towards Mason. "Just take it and say thanks." She muttered and Mason gulped, nodding his head as he sent Stiles a smile. "Okay. Thanks."
Stiles nodded, grabbing onto Liam and Masons shoulders and rubbing them before turning to Melanie and Belle, pulling them into a hug. "Love you guys." Stiles muttered, hugging the two girls tighter as they hugged him back. "Love you too." Belle muttered as Melanie nodded into the boys chest.
When Stiles pulled away, he sent the four one last smile before walking towards the drivers seat. Scott, who hadn't left his spot, gave the four a soft smile. "He's just dropping my off at my place so I'll be home." He said and the four nodded before he got into the Jeep after Stiles.
The four waved as the Jeep drove out of the parking lot and down the street. When the car was no longer in sight, Belle sighed, resting her head on Melanie's shoulder. "I'm gonna miss him." She muttered and Melanie quickly grabbed Belle's hand, squeezing it. "He'll come back."
"Yukimura!"
Melanie jumped at Coach's yell. She turned her head and watched as the man made a beeline towards her, one of his hands behind his back. Melanie's eyes widened as Liam, Belle and Mason all stepped back to be behind her, worried why he was stomping towards them.
"Yes Coach?" Melanie asked worriedly as the man stood right in front of her, his hand that wasn't behind his back on his waist. "I wanted to speak with you." He said and Melanie nodded worriedly. Coach Finstock looked at the girl, sensing her panic. He sighed, dropping his arms and calming his demeanor in hopes it would calm her down.
"You're the best player we got on the team. You think about the team as a whole before thinking about yourself which is why I wanted to give you the Captain spot." Coach said and Melanie's eyes went wide as her jaw dropped before she let out a shocked laugh. "Are you serious?"
Coach smiled at the girls excitement, pulling his hand that was behind his back out and tossing Melanie a jersey. Melanie slowly unfolded the jersey and smiled at what was on the back.
Her number 4 was right in the center with 'Mel' above it instead of her last name as always but right above 'Mel', in smaller letters was 'CAPTAIN'.
Melanie smiled at the jersey, tossing it on her shoulder to let it hang before she pulled Coach into a hug. "Thank you." Melanie muttered and Coach smiled, patting her back. "You earned it." He said, before he pulled away and placed a hand on her shoulder. "I'm expecting you to be mean to your team next season though. You know that right?" Coach said with a smirk and Melanie laughed, nodding. "I can do that."
"Even tweedle-dee and tweedle-dumb back there?" Coach asked, nodding his head passed Melanie to Belle and Liam. Melanie looked back at the two, Liam's jaw dropped as Belle elbowed him. "You're tweedle-dumb by the way."
Melanie laughed, nodding her head as she turned back to Coach. "I can do that." She said and Coach nodded. "Great. Well, congratulations, Yukimura. See you next season." He said one last time before walking away.
Melanie excitedly turned around to Belle, Liam and Mason with a big smile before she opened her arms out for a group hug in happiness. "I got Captain!"
At her words, the three cheered for the girl, running to her and pulling her into a group hug. After a few seconds of laughs and cheers, Belle and Mason pulled away, leaving Melanie hugging just Liam.
Liam looked down at Melanie with a proud smile as his hands gripped her waist. "Nice job, babe. You earned it." Liam said and Melanie smirked, putting her hands on Liams shoulders as she squinted playfully, her nose scrunching slightly. "You're not... jealous you didn't get Captain?" Liam scoffed out a laugh at Melanie's words, making the girl laugh as he pursed his lips.
"Only... partially jealous." He replied and Melanie nodded, smiling as Liam pulled her into a kiss.
