Chapter fourteen- they see me rollin
You wished you could control your violent outbursts better. What would you have done if Shinso hadn't been there? Killed Bakugo? Or leave him to suffer on the ground until someone found him? You didn't really want to think about it, and continued on your walk to school. You turned the corner to see Shinso waiting for you. You started to panic internally. Did he figure out it was you? Did he hate you?
"Hey (Y/N)!" Shinso called out to you from across the street. You considered running away, but if he didn't think it was you who had beat up Bakugo now, running away just might do it, so you continued to walk towards him, but were still hesitant.
"Are you ok?" Shinso asked, "Someone attacked Bakugo yesterday night, and I was worried that they might have gone after you, since they were saying something about Izuku, and I know you are friends with him. You might have been targeted as well!" He said with concern in his voice.
You almost sighed in relief. you smiled at Shinso.
"No no I'm fine, but you said someone attacked Bakugo! Why would they do that?" You said with feint concern.
Shinso muttered something about Bakugo probably deserving whatever he got.
You chuckled, and then broke out into a full out laugh. Shinso looked at you with a weird look for a second, but then joined in with the laughing. People who were passing by to go to school or work gave you and Shinso weird looks, but kept walking. When the laughing died down a little, you and Shinso started to walk to school, and all of your worries and frets were suddenly not in the back of your mind anymore, and you felt free of any guilt or sadness. Is this what it's like to feel free?
Whatever it was, you were enjoying it and never wanted it to end. You and your friend reached the last hill before the school in no time, and you were suddenly sad about the prospect of leaving Shinso to go to class. Sure you would get to see Deku and Uraraka, but it really just wasn't the same to you. They couldn't make all your worries go away.
Suddenly desperate to get Shinso to stay at least a little longer, you muttered under your breath for a nearby trash can to fly through the air and smack into you. Not even a couple seconds later, seemingly out of nowhere, to Shinso at least, a trash can flew from it's resting position and smacked right into you, knocking you down, you fell down onto your side, and since the hill you were on was decently steep, you started to roll down the hill, quite painfully actually.
Why you would purposely hurt yourself to get someone to stay by your side was unimportant to you at the moment, and you continued rolling, screaming all the way down for dramatic effect. You and Shinso had taken the scenic route, so no one was really around since they were all on the other side of the neighborhood that separated the two paths. When you finally reached the end of the painful journey, there was a nice wall of a house to greet you, and you smacked right into that as well. This panned out better than you had ever expected, but also more painfully than you had expected. You cried out quiet pitifully for a better injured effect, and tears fell from your (E/C) orbs, making the whole thing seem very serious. In fact you might have broken something. But you could easily heal yourself if need be, but not right now.
Shinso came running down the hill as fast as he could.
"(Y/N)!!! (Y/N)!! Are you alright?! Oh my gosh what the heck even just happened?!" He cried out, kneeling by your side to inspect the possible damage. You let out a groan, because now you actually were hurting. Guess rolling down a hill and smacking into a concrete wall will do that do you.
"We need to get you to a doctor!" He said, picking you up. "Tell me if it hurts ok?"
You nodded.
