Chapter seven- home
Your day certainly had been eventful. So many interesting things happened. You walk, feeling each step on the asphalt road as you go along. Looking ahead you saw your house. It wasn't anything fancy really, just a two story house. It was big for you, considering you lived alone. But it was close to school so you bought it. You had originally manipulated money as a kid, and never told anyone. Not even your late parents. They both died in a car accident. You didn't like cars ever since then and were deathly afraid to get in one. Anyway, you could make money change quantities, like you could change some one dollar bills into one thousand dollar bills. (Lets just say for the sake of my time that we use dollars in this part of Japan cuz i ain't researching all that stuff) So you had been giving yourself money ever since you learned how. You played it off to friends and family as you found a really good job that paid a lot. They believed it somehow.
You walked into your house and leaned down. Your cat/dog walked up to you and looked happy to see you. You smiled at them and picked them up. (If they are big dog you didn't pick them up) After a brief cuddle session with your pet, you put them down and walk into the kitchen. Pulling some pasta out from the pantry, you start to cook dinner. Sometimes you mess up the pasta and burn it, but today you were spot on, and it tasted great. After that you walk up to the second floor where your room is. Your cat/dog walks in behind you and sits on their bed. You drop your book bag down on the bed and pull out your homework. You feel really tired tonight, and seeing as the homework is just some stuff you already know and it won't hurt to not do it, you say out loud, not having to whisper anymore;
"Homework, be complete and all correct please."
Your pencil picks itself up and starts to write down all the things you would have been writing down if you were not so tired. You lay down on your soft bed and close your eyes. Your mind wanders to all your classmates once again, and you smile when you think of Izuku and Uraka. They are so nice to you, even though you are closed off to the world. You think about how good of friends you guys could be if you were different.
Your eyes open back up and salty tears fall down your face, for the second time today. You wipe them away and just play it off as being homesick. Ya, that's it, you're just homesick and want to go back home, but you can't. There is no one to go back to anyway. You had to sell the house after your parents died because you couldn't handle the memories.
The sound of the pencil against paper stops and you look over to your desk to see that your homework is complete and most likely correct, it never has been wrong before anyway. You pull out your phone and go to Chirp (twitter i guess) to check up on things there. You enjoy making online friends because you never meet them in real life and you don't have to face our fear of rejection upon your quirk being discovered. Nearly everyone who knows what your quirk is hates it and you, because it's the perfect villain quirk. Manipulate money, the ground, and anything you want except other people. You could make the earth swallow up everyone but yourself with a bat of your eye, and it would all be over.
But you don't want that to happen. You would never do that. But now that you can manipulate time, people will think even less of you, or be even more afraid. Perhaps you shouldn't freeze time anymore?
No, you almost never get to do what you want because your are a monster. But monsters are selfish sometimes too right? So you can freeze time whenever you want. And you will. In fact, how about right now!
"Time, freeze." you say with a determined voice.
Time slows to a stop for the third time today and you walk out of your door. Everything has stopped. Your anger fills you now as you walk down the streets and look around. Look around at the kids with their parents, the friend groups having fun, the couples being happy. It only fuels you more. You walk up to a ice cream stand and look at the ice cream you always got with your parents. You climb over the counter, bumping into someone. They almost fall over until you catch them, and you continue. Grabbing the scoop, you take a couple scoops until you realize you can just take the whole container. You grab the gallon of ice cream, make it lighter with your quirk so it won't weigh you down, and make it so it won't melt in your hands.
You change some napkins into a twenty dollar bill and lay it where the ice cream bin was, and climb back out. You realize you forgot a spoon, so you just take a rock and change it into a spoon. You walk away with the gallon of ice cream, and once you are a decent ways away in your neighborhood, unfreeze time. You sit on a bench and cry as you eat your ice cream, remembering your parents, and how you used to eat this with them, and all your anger turns to sadness. You continue eating until you see someone round the corner, and start to stare at you. It was that boy with the lavender hair. He looked at you and then at the ice cream. You supposed it did look weird for a girl to be sitting on a bench with a whole gallon of perfectly frozen ice cream, just eating it. So you did what any sobbing girl on a bench with a gallon of ice cream would do.
"Want some?" You squeaked, trying to not let your voice crack from crying.
