After getting off the bus, the whole class lined up in front of some generic looking buildings. These were the building that were made to practice in. Sometimes you wondered how much money the school had, and where they got it because, seriously? This place has so much equipment. It must have been really expensive.

You looked around at everyone in their costumes and smiled. Your friends Izuku and Uraraka looked so happy and excited. The teacher was pairing people up down the line, and Izuku and Bakugo were up against each other. You cringed at the thought. All you wanted was to stop time in the middle of their fight and help, but you knew Izuku wouldn't want that, so you would have to let them handle it on their own. The teacher was getting around to you, and you were slightly nervous, since Izuku's partner had been Uraraka, leaving no friends for you. After almost everyone was gone, you noticed that the boy with the bird head was left, as well as you. You supposed you would be partners then.

"(Y/N) (L/N) and Fumikage Tokoyami will be the heroes, up against Minoru Mineta and Koji Koda." said Sensei. 

You overheard from one of your classmates that Koda's quirk was animal control. He can control and talk to animals, and apparently insects as well. But he seems afraid of bugs, which you plan to use to your advantage. The other person, grape juice, as you like to call him, was apparently a perv, so you planned to avoid him, as your chest size was not huge, but not nonexistent. You would rather not deal with him, so you planned to get Tokoyami to handle him. Speaking of Tokoyami, you don't know his quirk yet, and are excited to find out, as info tends to excite you, especially info you can use in battles and real life situations.

You watch as the "villains" enter the building and sort out their strategy. You look over to Tokoyami, and look at his costume. It consists of a dark cloak, and dark shoes. It matches his, hair color? Feather color? You don't really know what to call it, and perhaps you would ask one day. 

"Hey Tokoyami, what is your quirk? If you don't want to tell me that's fine but I thought it might be useful in making a plan." You say to the bird boy.

"Ya sure, it's dark shadow, I have a shadow inside of me that can fight and stuff." He said to me.

"What's yours?" He asked.

You were reluctant at first because everything was going so well with your friends, and you didn't them to afraid of you. But Tokoyami seemed really nice, and collected too.  He didn't talk much, which you respected, and when he did talk it was important. So you decided to trust him, but only him.

"Don't tell anyone ok?" You said, very shy-like.

"Oh, ya I won't if you don't want me to." He said in return.

"I can manipulate things by speaking, but not people other than myself. I can change objects and even, well, stop time." You said timidly.

"Woah! Thaks pretty cool, like a dark power in a vessel of light!" He exclaimed.

You could see that he tends to over exaggerate things and use dramatic words. But you still thought he could be trusted, and were surprised that he didn't run for the hills in fear of you. Lots of other people didn't like you because of your quirk, but you didn't really choose it and you don't want to hurt anyone so you don't see why people are so mean.

You are snapped out of your thoughts by Sensei telling you and your new partner to go inside a start. You nod and start going towards the building, sort of freaking out because you totally got lost in your thoughts and didn't make a plan. 

"I'll go for Mineta, you go for Koda. If that's ok that is." Says Tokoyami who is walking next to you.

"Ya, that's great." You say as you enter the concrete building. You and Tokoyami split up, but not after Dark Shadow, Tokoyami's quirk, tells you two where the "villains" are hiding. You go your separate ways, and you head up the stairs to Koda, who had been sent to guard the "bomb".

Koda's quirk was useless in this situation, seeing as there were no insects or animals. But you planned to sneak right in there and secure the bomb without having to fight anyway. 

You pick up a loose piece of gravel, check to make sure no security cameras are looking at you, and change it into a beetle. You didn't particularly like bugs, but you endured for the sake of the training. You held the beetle in your hand as you ran over to the entrance to the bomb room. You threw the beetle, rather skillfully you thought, right in front of Koda, when he was looking the other way. You sat and waited for your plan to start. It was all based on a hunch to be honest, but it would have to do. 

Koda looked back to see a beetle on the ground in front of him, crawling up to recover from being tossed. He screamed at the top of his lungs and ran the other way. You took this opportunity to run into the room and place your palm on the fake bomb, and smile. you heard the announcement that the "heroes" had secured the weapon and won.

Later, you stood off to the sidelines in the room with everyone else. Your friends Izuku and Uraraka had congratulated you on your victory, and Tokoyami as well. Tokoami was happy that you and him won, and when heard how you did, laughed pretty hard. You didn't laugh, but smiled. You kinda felt bad for Koda though, since he had been humiliated in front of everyone, and now they all new his weakness.

You look up to the screen when Izuku and Uraraka go to fight the explosion king and transformer guy, as you called him in your head since you forgot his name. You gasped, along with everyone else, when Izuku was attacked so violently by Bakugo, and worried for poor Izuku.

You hoped he would be alright.

Who is your favorite character in Boku no Hero? (Mine's either Shoto or Shinso, but I will, of course, always love the cinnamon roll Izuku, and I admire Uraraka's innocence.)
