-Chapter Thirty-Four-
The rest of the night was very somber for both y/n and Shinso. After all, that had been thrown at them, and the attack at UA that day, which they had been spared from, they were both overwhelmed. In addition, y/n seemed to be physically affected by Rico merging back into her being, and she was exceedingly tired and sore.
"It feels like I ran a marathon and then chugged a gallon on milk." She groaned as she lay on the couch on her side, clutching her stomach. It hurt worse than she ever thought it could.
"I'll make some hot tea, that might make it better," Shinso said. He was worried about y/n. She seemed to have too much happened to her at the moment. They both had no idea what they were getting into when they took Rico in, and it hadn't even been that long and he was already gone. Y/n had tried to be strong for both of them, but in the end, she couldn't stop him from making up his mind. Maybe it was for the best. After all, if Rico was separated from her, that meant she would be defenseless unless Rico was with her at all times.
"You're spilling water." Y/N groaned at Shinso, who hadn't been paying any attention to the water and spilled it all over the floor.
"Oh..." He said, as he reached for a towel, and started to clean it up.
"What are we going to do? What if... what if the adults suspect us. How suspicious is it that we didn't show up on the one day there is an attack at UA?" Y/n says, coughing a little.
"Don't think about it right now. You just need to rest." Shinso says, putting the kettle on the stove after wiping the excess water off of it.
"I won't argue with that." She chuckled and closed her eyes to rest. "But I'm not going to sleep."
"Heh, ok fine. You can't drink tea while you're asleep anyway." He said, back to the weakened girl.
The only sound the pair could hear was the steeping tea and the kettle's shrill squeak. The steam from the tea set a slight haze around Shinso's vision.
"What if we don't go back." He says.
"Wh- what?" y/n shoots up, only to topple back down in a crumple of blankets.
"Careful there, I just mean, don't go back until things settle down."
"What about everyone else? What if they were hurt Shinso. I can't just, bail on them." She says weakly. Her determination to see her friends again was clear.
"But if we stay here the villains don't have a visual on us. It's clear they watch the school closely, and your house."
"How do you know that they don't watch yours?"
Silence.
"You're right. We need to find someplace safer." He says as he pulls the kettle from the stove.
"The school is safe."
"No it's not. Nowhere that high profile is safe."
"What other options do we have Shinso?"
He reaches up and pulls down two small cups from the cupard.
"I know a place."
"Where?"
He turns around a smirks.
I happen to be friends with a pro hero who can help us. He won't mind.
"Really?" y/n askes, looking up at him.
"Yeah, it's complicated. He wants to help train me to refine my quirk for good, but I told him I didn't need his help."
"Bet you're regretting that right about now."
"Yup."
Shinso walks over to the couch and puts the tea on the coffee table.
"We'll leave in the morning if you're up to it. Sound good?"
"......"
"I know you're worried about Deku, and Uraraka, and Iida, but they'll be fine."
"How do you know."
"....That hero I was telling you about?"
"Ya?"
"It's Mr. Aizawa."
