You, Shinso and Rico all get over to the side of the road to calm down. Well, pretend to calm down. Shinso was the only one who was upset, granted he was the only one who didn't know about your quirk out of the three. You sit on the pavement and reassure him.

"You almost died!" He says.

"Ya..." You say.

"You seem awfully calm for someone who almost died." He says with a suspicious look. You were sure that he was not trusting of Rico at the moment since he had appeared out of nowhere.

"It's ok, Rico saved me!" You say smiling.

Oops.

"Rico?" He says, looking at the said boy.

You forgot that you and Rico were supposed to have just met, and Shinso hadn't heard anyone introduce themselves.

"Y-ya! He's, um..." You say, trying to figure out what to make Rico to you.

"Her boyfriend!" Rico blurts out.

Time seems to stop. You stare wide-eyed at Rico and then back at Shinso, who has a surprised look on his face.

"Hahhahahahahahaahthatsfunnyricoyouknowwer'rejustbesties!!" You stutter out, slurring all your words together as you get up, face red as a Soviet flag.  

"Hahaha, ya!" He says, rubbing the back of his head. "I thought I would mess with you!"

But a slight blush dusts his freckled face.

What feelings were going through him? He had been with you your whole life. You suppose that's enough time to develop a crush. But...

Ugh! You had no idea what to do, no one ever liked you before. You hadn't exactly been the friendly type after everything the kids at your old school did to you.

You covered your face with your hands in embarrassment.

Shinso noticed that. (Walking dead reference anyone???)

You peek out from your fingers to see Shinso giving Rico a glare as he gets up.

"We should get going. You need to rest after everything that's happened, I'm sure." He says, gently grabbing your hand. You let your hands fall from their defensive position over your face, and gesture for Rico to follow you and Shinso. Shinso doesn't seem happy about it but goes along anyway.

You reach your house and remember that you're staying over at Shinso's house tomorrow instead of going to school.

"Well, see you tomorrow." You say with a small smile.

"What about him?" He asks bluntly, looking at Rico.

"Oh, he'll just stay at my hous-" You start to explain, but Shinso cuts you off.

"Come over tonight then. I don't feel right about leaving you with someone I don't know," he says. 

Excuse you?

"You don't know him but I do." You say, stressing the I.

He looks frustrated.

"I appreciate that you are worried but Rico is my friend and I know he wouldn't do anything to me." You say softly. You have no idea when Shinso got so possessive but you didn't really like it. Sure he cared about you but it felt suffocating. You remember when the other kids at school would tell you what to do all the time. 

"S-sorry, I just worry, with the phone call and everything.." He said.

You instantly feel bad for what you just though in your mind. he only wants to keep you safe.

"I'll do it." You say.

He looks up surprised.

So does Rico.

"If you don't mind having Rico with me, that is." You finish.

"ya, I  don't mind at all." He says, a small, warm smile creeping onto his face. You were glad you made him feel better.

You go into your house and grab stuff to spend the night and day with, and grab some paperclips as well. You plan on changing them into clothes for Rico.

Rico...

You knew so much yet so little about him. He was.. your quirk? As a human.. no, not human. Your mind hurt trying to wrap around the whole situation. But before you knew it, you had everything in a bag and were ready to go.

"Ok, lets go." You say, gently grabbing Rico's hand to lead him out of your house. He takes it, seeing how confused he is, he could use some guidence.

"Thanks." He mumbles shyly.

"It's no problem, but we need to talk sometime." You say.

"How about no time?" He says playfully.

You assume he means to stop time to talk.

"I'm a bit scared to stop time nowadays..." You admit.

"Sensei might find out." He says quietly.

"Mr. Aizawa?" You question.

He nods.

You had forgotten about him.

Shinso sees you two holding hands, and you give him a reassuring look. He questions it with his eyes but lets it go.

Off to another adventure then!
