Weeks weeks later,
I still thinked and thinked of what i can do to have a conversation with her that could last long and without her running off on me. I sighed of frustration, crinkled my paper and threw it away in the corner of my garbage pile. I spinned around my chair in my own "man cave"(room)
and thought and thought to myself.
"OH! What if...- no." "OOOHH!.. No."
Every idea that comes to my head won't work or either its stupid.
I got up from my seat, fell straight on my back and my hand hanging down of my bed. I felt a lick and stretched up, "Hey Buddy!" I picked him up and started petting him and giving him tummy rubs, if you wonder what my dogs nationality is its pomski. Half husky and half polmenarion, i got this little one when i was about 12 years old, always wanted to get a pomski.
I heard my mom shout, 'Dinner is ready!' my dog jumped off my lap and ran down stairs barking his head off, i streched,walked out the door and closed the door behind me.

I arrived at the dinner table, all nice and neat my mom prepared for me and for my father, its a shame he can't make it. The food smells unique, he works really late and always is tired when he comes home, he has a tough job that i will probably work for when i graduate. Or who knows? Maybe i will pretty soon enough.

"What do you think Jack?" my dear mother questioned while i, was in one of my fantasies. I cut a little piece of meat and stucked in my mouth, chewed and swallowed. A small soft smile appeared on my face, i coughed before answering, "It's delicious mom." She smiled brightly and thanked me, for shame dad can't be here for dinner.. again.
"So.. Anything new at high school?"
I stopped before i almost entered the food in my mouth, i layed it down softly and i scratched the back of my head. 'Sh*t.', i thought to myself.
I didn't tell her about Catilin or about me figuring out how to talk to her.
"By that expression looks like there is something.." She filled her mouth with food and smirked, frick i hate that she knows me a little bit to much.
I sighed, wiggled my nose and spoke, "Remember Caitlin? The one from my old elementary school?" She lifted an eyebrow, "Ohhh, Caitlin Walked? The silent shy girl?", I nodded and continued, "I am trying to talk to her, come up with a strategy but.. All my ideas sucked." She giggled, i rolled my eyes and faked laughed at her. "You're a boy Jack, you can get up and talked to any girl. You don't need to figure out what to talk about or what to do. It's easy, trust me you'll know what to do." I facepalmed, i am such an idiot! She's right! I am a boy, i can walk up to a girl and talk easily, what the actual f*ck is wrong with me?
"Thanks mom, i guess i was so focused on how to talk to her i forgot that.. It's easy." I chuckled, my mom lifted herself up from her seat and kissed my forehead, "You're welcome." She smiled and took my plate, pilled all of the dishes. I got up quickly and took it all from her hands, "Let me take it from here," I quickly walked to the kitchen and put the plates, forks, knifes and cups all in the dishwasher and started it. My mom came in and spoken, "Huh, I'm shocked you took the dishes." I lifted up my shoulders, smirked, "Well, it's a little thank you for helping me."

It's the next day, I'm in class and clicking my pencil constantly and constantly. I gaze over to Caitlin who's sitting on my right and i am completely nervous of speaking to her, god this supposed to be easy for me. I am planning to after this period is over, there's only five minutes left and i can feel my heart pounding faster and faster by the minute.
The period ended quickly, everyone got up and left the classroom as soon as they can but i was behind Caitlin.
She went to her locker and i stood there, preparing myself in the middle of the hall and i sighed before going to her. I leaned on the lockers beside her and smirked, "Hey Caitlin." I tried to keep it cool and smooth, cause really i am freaking out.
She turned her head towards me and spoke while lifting her right eyebrow, "Um.. Hi?" She took her books, closed her locker and turned around starting to walk away. I quickly went infront of her and stopped her from continuing to walk, she looked up to me and spoken to me again, "Excuse me, i got to get to class. So if you don't mind-" She turned to the right and i stepped infront of her again, "There's more time," I smiled at her, she rolled her eyes at me, "I just wanna chit chat a bit." She laughed and pushed me softly by my chest, "Listen, i don't know why you suddenly wanna talk to me 'Jack', "Oh," i chuckled, "You do know my name."
"Don't flatter yourself," She crossed her arms at me, "I really should get going, i don't want detention. So if i was you I'd drag my own body to my locker, grab my books and head to class." She smiled wide, mocking me and headed to class. I just stood there, my jaw dropped and i was shocked. Suddenly the school bell rang, i stomped and spoke outloud, "Shit." I ran to my locker, grabbed my stuff and rushed to Science, classroom '124'. I arrived in while Miss. Smith was talking, she crossed her arms and i made a face, "Sorry I'm late..." She hummed, "Last warning,you're lucky. Now go sit down." I sighed in relief and thanked her, i ran to my seat and sat down. I couldn't get her out of my mind, she is quite interesting to me even more now and I'm actually kinda attracted by her.

I stuck my books in my locker, got my lunch box and slammed my door shut. Robert chuckled and leaned on his locker, "Someone grumpy?" I made a face and fake laughed at him, shook my head and started walking towards the school doors. "Just the locker pi**es me off." He laughed at me layed his arm around my neck, "True but there's something else bruh. You can't lie to me, who is you're best friend here?" He questioned, i rolled my eyes and pointed at him. "That's right." He chuckled, i pushed his face and smirked. "Anyways, have you started your operation silent mission yet?" He put his hands in his pockets and bitting his lower lip, i sighed and nodded. I am just kinda disappointed in myself, i could've done way better to start a freaking conversation. I'm one of the popular guys here. "I spoke to her..-", "Aannnddd??" He squished againts me, i hissed at him and laughed. "And that's it, she had to head to class. She was quite sassy tho." I chuckled, pushed my hair back and went towards at the hangout. "Ahuh, interesting.. Well, since you two didn't have enough time to chat you can-", "DUDE THERE SHE IS!"
I pointed, i rushed to get to her and i shouted at the back of my head to Rob, "Are you just gonna stand there? C'mon!" I laughed of joy and started running to catch up to her. "-Try to talk to her. Ugghh, wait up!"

I stopped, i lost my breath and took out my bottle of water and sipped.
Rob was out of breath too, he's very slow for coming at running. I laughed at him and he rolled his eyes at me, he noticed Caitlin and pushed me. Most horrible part when he pushed me, he pushed me WAY hard to fall on Caitlin. I fell on top of her and i can feel Robert is enjoying this, i got up quickly and started apologizing. "I'm so so sorry, i didn't mean to fall on you." I took her hand and lifted her up, she groaned and cleaned herself up. "It's okay i guess, um.." Her cheeks are all red and soft, she kept looking down but she looked up and gazed into me, as i did to her. "Do you mind if we continue our chit chat from today?" I crossed my two fingers behind my back, prayed that she'd approve. She nodded, she took a few steps forward waking to the green grass and sat down. I just stared and she lifted her eyebrows at me, "What? Do you want to chit chat or not?"
My Bro patted my back and gave me a thumbs up, we both walked away and i sat beside Caitlin.
I opened my lunch box, took out my box of fruit, a toothpick and started eating. "So, what did you want to 'Chit Chat' about?" She smiled wide, mocking me again. "I just want to get to know you, since we have many classes together also that we see each other everyday." I bit my strawberry, she hummed, "So you're suddenly interested to talk to me?" She lifted an eyebrow, i shook my head. "I wanted to speak to you for a long time, but i, have a very busy life and I'm always packed." Well so far so good, everything is going great. "Oh.. Well nice to meet you i guess." She chuckled, "And i you." I smiled softly, she blushed and wiped her face. I finished my fruits, now time for my sandwhich, i took a big bite and chewed. I noticed Caitlin glaring, i swallowed and questioned. "What?" I wiped my mouth, she shook her head and brushed through her hair with her hand. "Oh.. Uh... Nothing." Suddenly her stomach growled, i looked up at her and she shut her eyes. "You're hungry?" She sighed of embarrassment, she hugged her belly and shook her head slowly, "No.."
I took out my second peace of sand which and held it in my hand, "Here, you can have it." She pushed my hand away, "No, i am fine really." I shook my head, "Just take it, trust me it's delicious." She glared, took it slowly out of my hand and took a soft bite. She smiled softly, took another bite and became brighter..
"Thanks.. Sumers."

I walked Caitlin back to her locker, cause in almost 5 minutes the bell will ring for the ending of our lunch break, knowing Caitlin she has to come early to grab her stuff and be prepared, "Hey.. Um." She spoke, while taking out her socials book, "Thanks for the chit chat, i had fun." She smiled, closed her locker and walked away. All of a sudden, Rob jumped on my back and we both fell on the floor. He laughed at me and i pushed him with all of my energy, "You asshoe." I chuckled, he handed his hand out and helped me up. "So, i see the operation silent worked out well for you." He smirked, i smiled and scratched the back of my head.
"Yeah, she's hilarious." He nudged me, i rolled my eyes and headed with him to our lockers and to class.
