Hugging Siblings Part 1
So, a little while ago, there was this trend going around where people would just randomly hug their siblings to see their reactions.
Now, we all know that Ahsoka would totally have social media in our time period, and she would participate in the challenges and stuff. We also know that she has a bunch of honorary siblings and it's SUPER sweet.
So, I'm going to write this as her doing this challenge with each of her "siblings". This first part is going to depict the interactions as sweet and a bit more... emotional-ish I guess? The second part will be the same thing, but the interactions will be more playful and less serious.
It's gonna be a bit longer than the usual one shots.
Enjoy!

Obi-Wan gently tipped the delicate kettle, letting the steaming water splash into both of the metallic mugs.
He took one in each hand, and pivoted to walk back to the table, where Ahsoka was sitting patiently, scrolling through the holo-web. She was spending the night at his quarters while Anakin was away on a mission for the weekend.
Anakin had been very vague about his mission, saying that it was top-secret, leading Obi-Wan to believe that it was not a mission at all, but a getaway with Senator Amidala.
Yes, he had suspected much about their relationship for awhile now, but he had never spoken of it to anyone.
As he took a few steps towards the table, Ahsoka surprised him by standing up, and walking towards him.
His brows furrowed in confusion as she promptly wrapped her arms around his neck, and placed her head comfortably in the crook of his neck, under his beard.
Obi-Wan stiffened. He gently reached behind her to place the hot mugs of tea on the table. He was not used to receiving physical affection. The last person who had hugged him had been Anakin, when he was a bit younger. Clearly seeing that the gesture had made him uncomfortable, he hadn't reached out to him like that anymore.
After a few seconds, he relaxed, reminding himself that Ahsoka was just a young girl, thrown into a war far too early in her life.
Perhaps she was trying to tell him something with this gesture. He slowly lifted his arms, and wrapped them around her back, patting her a bit awkwardly.
"Is everything alright, Young One?" he asked.
"Yes," she responded simply, her voice muffled by his clothing. The corners of his mouth lifted into a tight smile.
He did not mind being hugged, he was just simply not used to it. He did not want to push her away the same way that he had done to Anakin.
"Alright then," he whispered. "Thank you, Ahsoka."

Rex carefully rested his helmet against his waist, looking down at the battlefield sadly as the ship lifted off of the ground.
He closed his eyes, trying to ignore the everlasting lump in his throat as he remembered his fallen brothers. He squeezed his eyes shut, trying his best to hold it together. He was about to place his helmet back on his head, when he felt a small hand grab his own.
He turned to the side to see his Commander, Ahsoka, standing beside him, a comforting smile on her face.
Before he knew it, she had reached forward and folded her arms around his back. He was taken aback for a moment, but he quickly returned the gesture with a gentle hug, trying not to pull her in too tightly. He didn't want to hurt her with his armor.
He was unsure what her motives were, but he was happy to have this moment of peace with his friend, and sister.
Whether she had any idea how upset he had been or not, Rex did not know. He was grateful regardless.
A tear trickled down his face and splashed onto the top of her lekku.
"Thank you, Little 'un."
"You're welcome, Rexter."

Padme furrowed her eyebrows, deep in thought as she read over the bill that she was supposed to be analyzing. Her mind had been drifting elsewhere for the past hour, and she finally decided to call it a night. She would look over the bill in the morning once she was well rested.
Light footsteps made their way towards her, and she turned to the side to see Ahsoka walking over to her desk.
Anakin had sent his Padawan over to Padme's apartment after she had been struggling with a difficult assignment having to do with politics. He thought that his wife might be able to help her with it.
Padme lifted a curious eyebrow as Ahsoka leaned forward to hug her. Though she had not been expecting it, she was quick to return the gesture, kissing the Togruta softly on the cheek.
She had always viewed her as a little sister- maybe even a daughter. A smile crept over both of their faces.
"Is something wrong, Ahsoka?" Padme questioned.
"Nope. I just wanted to say that I love you."
Padme's heart melted as she tightened her grip on the girl.
"I love you too," she responded, her smile widening.

Anakin leaned over the sink, scrubbing at a stubborn spot on one of the plates that him, his Padawan, and his old master had eaten off of during dinner that night.
He hummed to himself quietly, very much enjoying his moment of peace, which was difficult for one to find when they were a General in a war.
He jumped slightly when he felt something on his back. He spun around to find that it was Ahsoka who had tapped him.
"What's- oh," his sentence was interrupted as she practically collapsed against him, embracing him tightly.
Without asking any questions, Anakin held her to him, resting his head on top of her own. He had no idea where this was coming from, but he knew that he had struggled as a Padawan, craving such physical affection from his own master. Hugs were an obvious sign of attachment, but they were one of the things that he had missed the most about his mother. He would not deny Ahsoka this wonderful feeling of warmth.
He rocked her from side to side, lifting each of her feet off the ground with each sway. She stepped forward, and placed each of her feet on top of his, closing her eyes with a grin. He continued rocking her back and forth, before pulling back for a moment.
She looked up at him, confused.
"I can't let the water run for this long," he explained, spinning around to turn the knob of the sink to 'off'. Ahsoka giggled.
He beamed down at her as he turned to face her once more, pulling her in to continue their moment.
His hands slid to under her arms, lifting her up off of her feet, and onto the counter of their kitchen. Now that they were at eye level, Anakin leaned back a little bit so he could see her face.
"You okay?" he asked, a small smile decorating his face. Ahsoka nodded in response, before placing her arms around his neck once more, and pulling him to her, nestling her face in between his neck and shoulder.
"I'm okay," she promised.
"Then what's this for?" Anakin asked, continuing to sway her from side to side.
"Just because."

Ahsoka was unsure how long they stayed like that for, her and her master.
Growing up on Coruscant with the Jedi, she had never experienced a hug from anyone. She was not expecting to like them so much.
What had started out as an experiment had turned into a big lesson for Ahsoka.
As Anakin carried her to bed that night (she had almost fallen asleep in his arms, and she enjoyed being carried around much more than walking herself, so she decided to pretend) unexpected thoughts swam through her head.
Maybe attachments were not so bad after all.
Maybe it was okay to have a family- whether they were hers by blood, or not.
I rly just love the family dynamic that everyone in this show has.
Ahsoka and Anakin are my #1 brotp FOR LIFE, and they're my favorite relationship (BROTHER AND SISTER/FATHER AND DAUGHTER) in Star Wars- and pretty much all of fiction.
I love them so so so much 🥺🥺🥺
