i'm a snowdrop on the ground

and you are summer, safe and sound

there i go and bloom the way you want me to

as long as i'm pretty, you'll want me, too

even if it's only for the month of march

that i will make the most of

that's what they mean when they talk about love

sure, it's all pointless and wasting my time

but for you i will flower, be pretty and shine

i wonder how the moon does it

but maybe it just loves the sun so much

that all it does is try to be bright

for the sun to notice how pretty it shines
