Dearest Gentle Readers;

We have been apart for too long. At last, London's fashionable set has made its return, and so too has this author. As the season returns, the question on everyone's mind is, of course, which newly minted debutante will shine the brightest?

The crop this year appears to be rather dazzling. However, one must notice the return of the Beaumont family. After raising their two daughters in France, the family have returned to British soil, and the ton is surely abuzz with the Parisian glamour of these two upcoming ladies. 

It begs the question, will any suitor be able to capture and tame the rebellious spirit of the eldest Kitty Beaumont, or will the meekness of the younger Annabelle be more suitable?

Debutantes aside, the thought on everyone's mind is which gentleman will prove himself to be the prize of the season. For if anyone is to manage to catch the eye of the wild Kitty, she will need someone dashing to set her eyes upon. There are a certain few eligible bachelors in the Bridgerton family that come to mind.

Time will tell, dear readers, and one can only hope this season will have some excitement. Until next time,
