*******************************************

Arthit went back in the kitchen where the elderly women gathered around to make lunch for their husbands and children. He gave Sun to his mother to take care of him while he would have a long discussion with Kongpob and the police. However Sun didn't like the idea of his mother giving him away after he waited so long for him to come back. Sun raised his arms up, wanting his mommy to take him back but Arthit was relectant to take him back but also leave him there by the elders and his friends. The little child's sulky face was too cute and too sad, he would be heartless if he left him here. His heart beat fast, it hurted to see Sun on the verge of crying. He didn't have the heart to ignore Sun, he took him back, talking softly to him.

„I'm not going anywhere, Sun... I'll just have a talk with daddy...", he mentioned to assure the child that he didn't have any intention of going anywhere and leaving him behind.

Sun, still sulking, didn't have any choice as to nod. „Sun com wit mommy", the kid was too persistent. After waiting for Arthit for a long time, he grew afraid of being left behind again.

Everyone in the room were curious to see how the former fierce head hazer would handle the sweetness also the sadness of a child. Their eyes were on him but Arthit seemed not to notice them, he only had eyes for Sun in this moment. He wanted to take his fear and sadness away, showing him that he wouldn't run away like he did 3 years ago or dissapear again just like he did this morning with P'Net. Sun made a pouty lips, just like Arthit did when he was sulking to Kongpob. The little boy reminded him of himself, he resembled him much in many aspects even though he wasn't his father. His red lips, pale skin and round face. Maybe he looked like him because of himself having a babyface that didn't make him look old in his end twenties. Oon was his second name but „babyface" was the nickname his friends gave him behind his back till he heard Bright calling him like that without knowing that he was standing behind him even though their friends were making grimaces to tell him that he was behind him.

Arthit gave him a big smile. „Okay let's do it like that. You'll let me go to daddy and I'll give you a reward later if you're brave and wait here for us... How about this?", it was a question he knew Sun would never be able to decline. Sun was just a child and always liked rewards, most likely if the reward came from his mommy.

Sun made a thinking expression as if he was thinking really hard and wanted to see the benefit he could have with this deal. Sun gave him a bright smile, nodding his head, saying „Uhm". It was a deal. Arthit just knew how to twist the men in his house around his fingers. Just like he always did with Kongpob. The Suthilucks, Kong and Sun were just his target he could control easily. Honestly Bright and Prem waited for Arthit to fail calmind down the child since Arthit wasn't known as nice or a human to play with kids. They were flabbergasted to see their bad-tempered friend managing Sun as if the child was his son, it was embellishing for their eyes. This picture, Arthit holding his enemy's son in his arms and calming him down was peaceful. P'Seung Il had to memorize this picture deep in his memory but in his mobilphone too. He sent the cute image to Kong and to another person who was saved as „Yobo" in his cellphone.

„I'll sent the other pictures to Yobo later... She'll be pleased with them", Seung Il mumbled, smiling as soon as he imagined his Yobo, a fujoshi and Arthit's fan, grining while adoring this image as present.

Mrs. Rojnapat was deeply moved, she had tears in her eyes, it was the first time she witnessed her son acting so cute after 3 years of seperation. Even Mrs. Suthiluck couldn't hold back her tears of joy. She had to admit that she was disappointed at Arthit as she learnt that her son-in-law broke up with her son without letting anyone know his whereabout, leaving her precious Kongpob heartbroken. Never did she imagine the lovely Arthit to end their relationsip but she couldn't get angry with him since she witnessed the tortures he went through when living with her son. She knew that Kongpob neglected him but took care of a stranger they didn't have much information about. Her son-in-law had to fight alone against the stalker who ended up abducting him in front of their apartment. It was a sad past she could change nothing about. Actually it was her duty to apologise to her in-law about her son's behaviour because they he ruined the trust they put in him when leaving their son in his hand but she never took that step because of her not accepting Arthit running away so suddenly. That time she was didn't want to listen to any information concerning Arthit but as time passed by, she learnt to understand that he needed time for himself to overcome the trauma and face life with renewed courage.

I'm glad you came back... She mumbled so faintly that her man standing beside her, didn't even heard her. Arthit gave Sun back to his mother, ruffling the boy's hair then returning to Kongpob and the police who were still in the office, talking about their strategies to fight the criminals. As soon as the door got opened, they went silent to prevent Arthit from listening to their strategies. However the shorter man didn't let them cast him out, he walked over to the taller man, asking him to brief him about the situation.

„P'Arthit, we talked about that matter already. I won't let you endanger yourself anymore! No, I won't put you in danger just to bring those two criminals in jail! You suffered enough and I won't let you get hurt again!", he talked in a firm voice to him, didn't even waver nor let any trace of insecurity in his voice. This time it didn't matter whether Arthit was his Phee and he the Nong in their relationship. Because he promised to protect his Phee, he would dare to disrespect him if it meant to keep him safe by his side.

Just before Arthit took Sun back to his parents, he had a short discussion with Kongpob. No, it was more like a one-sided talk with Kongpob talking the whole time and declining his help without even listening to him. The younger man didn't want to hear any of his dangerous plan so he told the latter to leave them but Arthit, as stubborn as he was, came back to offer them his support again. That his fan wasn't listening to him, raised Kongpob's anger. He was on the verge of losing his temper but he forced himself to keep his temper under control.

„Can you leave us alone for a moment, please?", this pleading was directed to the two detectives who were in the office with them.

It was a lover's quarrel they wouldn't dare to meddle in or it would backfire at them so they left them alone to speak with each other. Besides the police were there to capture P'Net and his accomplice, they would accept any help they could get but they would provide for their safety too. Arthit and Kongpob needed to talk and clear the misunderstanding between them since their plan would fail if they were helping them while being angry at each other and not focusing on the assignment.

Arthit crossed his arms around his chest, taking a huge breath then exhaling it. He waited a moment before beginning the discussion. „I know you're hiding something from me and I want you to share them with me!"

„I'm not hi...", Kongpob wanted to lie again but Arthit interrupted him.

The shorter man showed him a sad face, „Don't lie to me Kongpob. P'Net told me that you're hiding information about Dalika from me... I... I want to know the truth and don't you dare to avoid this talk. I won't forgive you if you lie again with the reason to protect me. I'm not a child who needs your protection", it was a clear request that Kong couldn't avoid anymore.

The taller man caressed his forehead, letting out a heavy sight. It wasn't easy for him to tell him the truth he missed in those three years. It was painful to remember the sad past where he lost P'Arthit and had to face Dalika alone. It would take long to tell him everything from the beginning to the end and they wouldn't finish today so he had to keep it short. „Sun is not my son...", there was the truth he was afraid to tell him because of him fearing P'Arthit ending up hating their son.

Arthit was speechless, his mouth wide open. He moved his lips to say something but the words wouldn't come out, they were stuck in his throat, making it hard for him to gulp and breath. „Wha... What do you mean he's not your son?". Of course he heard him right but couldn't process the news in his brain to understand it clealier. He needed him to repeat his answer for him to assimilate it.

„It's a long history..."

„Then make it short so I can understand what's going on, Kongpob", he almost raised his voice at him out of agitation but he managed to control his rage for the time being. Sun would be scared and cry if he found out that they were fighting. He forced himself to calm down by repeating in his mind that it happened in the past so he shouldn't get fed up like that and worsen the situation they were in.

„Like I mentioned just now, Sun is not blood related with me. He's Dalika's child but I only adopted him as she wanted to kill him by commiting suicide. Many things happened after you left me and I can't tell you everything today but I'll share the important matters with you. I investigated Dalika years ago and found interesting and shocking news about her which I could use against her to force the truth out of her. She's the woman we met and saved years ago from those three men on the street."

„Yeah, I found out that much about her too. We saved her but she tried to tear us apart", he mumbled so faintly, quickly changing the toipic since he didn't want to reminisce about the painful past he came to term with.

The younger one was surprised that he knew about her identity but he didn't want to go deeper into it and ask him where he found this out. „All the misfortunes we went through, began that night with the meeting of Dalika and her boyfriend."

„Boy...", Arthit wanted to ask but his eyes widened in shock when he finally understood the meaning behind the word „Fan". Dalika was clearly in desperate straits that night and needed help to get away from those three men who were abusing her. They came to her rescue but he got badly injured that he had to live with the sad aftermath of this injury. Those 3 men were bandits but why did he mention boyfriend? „Boyfriend?", he repeated.

„Yeah, the man who hurted you that time was her fan, Lek. They had a fight and she broke up with him but he didn't want the break up. Lek wanted to clear the situation with her but she made it look like they were harassing her. He was her allegdly stalker whom she used to stalk us. He was the inresponsible driver who almost ran you over."

„You said they broke up. If she broke up with him then why did he help her to come after us?"

Kongpob fell in silence, he gazed at the ground before returning his attention to Arthit. His eyes were fixed at the latter. You don't know anything about Dalika, P'Arthit... Where do I begin about her, huh? Maybe with how she was manipulative and could hypnotise anyone easily... Just like she did to... He broke his own thought to concentrate on his Phee. „She used him because he loved her... Even a bandit can fall in love", he mumbled, laughing at his own joke, it wasn't a happy laugh but a forced one, the truth was too rediculous for even him to accept. „Actually you met that man twice 3 years ago."

„I met him only once that night on..."

Kongpob interferred, giving him a hint to come to the truth himself. „The man you met in front of our company. He asked you about the relationship between Dalika and me."

Arthit wasn't in the picture at first since it happened a long time ago. He had to refresh his memory to remember the event about him meeting that man twice.

„I see... And how how did P'Net meet her? He mentioned that he shouldn't had listen to her. I mean, we're working in the same department but they never exchanged a word with each other before."

„She managed to make him her slave by using his love for you. She hypnotised him to make him carry out her wish like kidnapping and abusing you...", his chest tightened upon telling him the truth he didn't want him to know about. He wished for him to forget the past instead of dwelling in the past but he had to reveal everything for Arthit to understand P'Net. „Dalika studied psychlogy before and could hypnotise her prey while talking to them on phone."

The shorter man froze on the spot while reminiscing the days he spent in the basement with his Phee. The latter would be soft towards him then change and turn aggressive all the sudden. Sometime he would come back in the basement and hit him after making a phone call outside. The memory about him reading her resume before came to his mind. He read that she studied psychology but changed her profession due to an unexpected event. „Are you telling me that she hypnotised him and made him lock me in a dark basement?", his hands were trembling, his lips moving but not saying anything.

Kongpob realized that Arthit was on the verge of hyperventilating. He came closer to him, wanted to touch him on the shoulder but Arthit stepped back to avoid the touch. Kong reacted surprised to him rejecting him.

„How could you hide this information from me?"

„I... I didn't want you to suffer because of the past anymore... Phee, you should forget Dalika and P'Net to lead a better life in the future."

„You don't have any right to choose over my life. She destroyed my life and you want me to forget everything just like that? As if it never happened?". Now he could understand why P'Net mentioned that he regretted his decision of ever listening to Dalika and taking part in her evil plan. But even if she manipulated him, he was guilty the moment he took part in her scheme. He couldn't forgive him for making him suffer.

„How should I tell you the truth if you ran away years ago?", Kongpob raised his voice too, he couldn't hold his anger towards him anymore. „You left me, P'Arthit...", now his sadness couldn't be hidden in his voice anymore. He stil felt hurt whenever he remembered about the past as his Phee went away, packed his luggages and ran away, leaving their engagement ring behind. The time they needed to be strong together and fight against the obstacles, he decided to leave him behind. He knew that he was in the wrong for neglecting him most of the time but he was ready to change for him. If he just believed in him, gave him a second chance and waited for him to explain everything, he wouldn't be kept in the dark like now. If he had trust in him and he waited for him to change, they wouldn't be standing here, fighting over those three persons who ruined their lives.

Arthit was flabbergasted, couldn't believe Kong using such lame reason as excuse. He left to avoid breaking down and him finding out about his illness but he could had tell him sooner about it as he came back to Thailand. Of course Arthit was aware that Kongpob was telling him the truth and he shouldn't dwell in the past. He wanted to forget the past but he couldn't forgive Kongpob for hiding the truth from him. Dalika seemed to be the mastermind behind his abduction but his fan didn't find the need to reveal her intention to him. Neither could he forgive P'Net and that man called Lek. They made up together to teach him fear and torture him for joy. They ruined his life. They shattered his bright future he wanted to share with Kongpob into tiny pieces. He went aside, scratching at his forehead, holding at his waist.

Kongpob approached him, grabbing at his hand, Arthit reluctant to go to him. He wanted to slap his hand away but the taller man didn't let him go, touching him on the cheek. The soft touch ment down Arthit's anger, he took a deep breath then exhaled it before looking at him in the face. But the look Kongpob gave him was too sweet and pitiful, he couldn't be mad at such handsome face for a long time. Besides he had to admit that it was his fault too for going to Korea without warning anyone. Their break up happened due to a misunderstandings they could had avoid but it was too late, both of them could never turn back the time. Kongpob wrapped one arm around him, pulling him closer to his body, every inch of gape closing between them, their bodies so close to each other that they could feel each other's tight.

„I'm sorry...", it was the only words Kongpob managed to say to him. He admitted that he caused most of the trouble they went through by believing in Dalika instead of listening to his fiance, it made him an easy target for her scheming.

Arthit looked up at Kongpob, his eyes wandering over the latter's face to save every parts of his features deep in his mind and heart where he could always remember whenever he needed it. The younger one leaned his forhead at Arthit's, enjoying their togetherness for a while.

„I'm sorry, P'Arthit... I didn't keep the truth from you because I wanted to score off out of anger but because I wanted to protect you. You promised me not to let the past catch up to you and keep you locked up in your misery", he hold gently onto his chin, pulling him to him then giving him a peck on the lips. It was a sweet move to take his pain and worry away. It was a sweet kiss that faded the tension away.

However Arthit wasn't satisfied yet, he had another matter he wanted to know the truth about. It was a question that didn't leave his mind in this many years. It concerned one of the reason why he left him. Did you sleep with N'Dalika or not? I want to know if you cheated on me or not... Sun wasn't Kongpob's son but it didn't clarify the matter whether he slept with her or not? As he was about to ask him about that subject, Kongpob's cellphone suddenly rang in his pocket, breaking the romantic air in the atmosphere. The taller man broke the lovely hug even though he wanted to keep his love in his embrace, enjoying their touch and indulg in their own world. He saw at the screen but it was an unknown number. He took the call, placing the phone above his ear and talking first, asking the identity of the person on the other end of the line. Instead of a reply, there was dead silence between him and the person calling him. Kongpob began to suspect the stranger calling him but not ready to talk to him.

The younger man made sudden a serious expression, the sudden change in his behaviour and his fierce expression, surprised Arthit. He was curious to know about the caller but even Kong wasn't sure about the identity of the stranger.

„Who are you?", Kongpob asked, keeping his voice deep and firm.

„It's me", the male voice finally spoke to him.

Kongpob didn't have to ask the name of the person because he already recognized that voice. That deep voice he had nightmare about for weeks, that voice that made Arthit tremble in fear whenever he heard it. It was the devil's voice he would never forget. P'Net!

He glanced from the corner of his eyes to Arthit, waiting for his reaction. The moment Arthit realized the person his boyfriend was talking to, he looked aside. Kongpob realized that his fan wasn't himself again. Even though Arthit promised not to dwell in the past anymore, he got the feeling that he couldn't escape from the painful past. Whenever he tried to look to the future, the people who tortured him would follow him and remember him that they were stil there and wouldn't let him go so easily.

Kongpob hold onto Arthit's hand to give him strength, gently intertwining their fingers together, signalizing him that he was there for him. „How did you...", he couldn't finish the question since P'Net interruped, cutting him in the middle of the sentence.

„It doesn't matter how I got your number... Did you think about the plan I told you about?", P'Net didn't beat around the bush for too long, he came to the point as soon as they got into conservation.

„I did but I won't give P'Arthit to you and play with his life. Not again! I won't let you hurt him like you did 3 years ago so don't think about using him."

„N'Kongpob, I can't force you to involve P'Arthit in this plan. Trust me, I'm not eager to get him in danger too but we need him to take Lek down. That man is dangerous and is armed too. He will kill you if you comes alone... Without Sun and Arthit..."

The taller man couldn't judge P'Net like he wanted to. He wasn't sure whether their former colleague was eager to help them and capture Lek or he wanted to use them to get his finger on Arthit and abduct him again. Because of this insecurity, did he call the police to help them so they could put an end to their relationship with P'Net. Those two men were supposed to be in jail and not on the broad daylight where they would enjoy their freedom.

However Arthit couldn't keep calm like the younger male, he snatched the phone out of his hand, continuing the conversation. „What do you mean with Lek would kill him if he comes alone?", he wanted to know the truth before sending Kongpob away to the dangerous mission where he could lose him forever. He didn't even care about the filthy feelings he got while talking to his Phee. His own feeling wasn't important than Kongpob's life. His safety came first.

P'Net was surprised to hear the shorter man talking to him. His heart beat faster the moment he listened to Arthit's sweet voice. The sweet voice sounded like angelic music in his ear. He lost his concentration, couldn't keep calm anymore. He stil loved Arthit, would never admit it right away but his heart was skipping a beat for his crush he had one-sided love for. „Lek is out there to get both of you. I promised him to bring you to him and threaten Kongpob to kill you if he didn't appear with his son Sun. It's the plan with the intention to take him down...", there was the reason why he dared to escape the prison and appear in front of him again.

Arthit froze on the spot, his mind in chaos, his heart thumping too fast after hearing that Lek would kill Kongpob didn't accept P'Net's help but came alone to the meeting place. No, he didn't want that. He didn't want to lose Kongpob again. Not after the long fight he had to go through to reunite with him. There was only one way to save everyone. It was a dangerous road but he would take it instead of letting his love fight for their lives and die protecting Sun and him. For him, Kongpob wasn't a hero with superpowers neither with the duty to protect him but he was his man. His boyfriend he loved so much. His lover he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. They were seperated for 3 years and it was pure torture for him to keep living and fighting against his illness without anyone by his side. The time as he received his treatment in South Korea, he wished he had Kongpob beside him. Now that he had him back, he was about to lose him again? And this time forever? No way would he agree to this deathly mission. „I'll come with you...", Arthit replied without thinking much about the consequence. He only had one: Protect Kongpob from those insane men!

Kongpob's eyes widened, they turned bigger than they actually were. He clenched his hands into fists, wanted to take his cellphone back but Arthit was persistent, arranging a meeting with Net in the forest where he brought him earlier 3 hours ago. Before Kongpob could snatch the phone away, he hang up to prevent him from speaking with P'Net and change the plan.

„P'Arthit!", Kongpob yelled, anger residing in him. His eyes were glaring at him, reflecting the anger he couldn't hold back anymore. „What do you think you were doing?", he raised his voice, screaming at him to show how angry he made him by plotting with P'Net behind his back. He felt insulted and not taken serious even though he was about to save Sun and his life. He got the feeling the older man didn't trust him to handle the situation alone.

„I know what I'm doing! I don't want to lose you", Arthit screamed back.

„You don't want to lose me or you don't trust me enough to protect you... Just like you didn't trust me 3 years ago and choose to run away instead!", it was another thought he had in his mind the whole time but couldn't vent out just out of respect for P'Arthit.

Again this misunderstanding. Why can't you understand that I'm worried about you? I'm scared that I'll lose you, Kongpob. Why can't you see my fear? He felt insulted that Kongpob had negative thought about him but he couldn't blame him for. He did run away but he didn't choose to leave because he lost his faith in him. He left to save him from broken heart, didn't want him to find out that he was ill because of the hit he received on his flank years ago. He didn't want him to blame himself for somthing he didn't calculate to happen. Arthit almost lost his composure but he persevered, it was more important not to lose his calmness in this situation. They needed to be there for each other instead of fighting and lose focuse on their main problem. It was more important to protect their little Sun from that dangerous father of his. No way would he give his son to that man. Even if he was Sun's bloodrelated father, he would never allow him to even touch neither look at him for a second. Sun was his child the moment he acknolewdged himself to play his mommy's role.

Arthit caressed Kongpob's cheek, giving him a little peck on the lips to calm him down. Now that he was dertermined to protect Kongpob and Sun, he had to convince the latter to involve him in their plan. He couldn't let him go there alone, in the hyena's dent. Arthit caressed his fan's lips, carefully with his thumb, so gently that it was too odd for the hot-tempered Arthit.

„Don't worry about me, Kongpob... I just want to help you with this... Sun may be your son but don't forget that I'm his father too", this time he didn't use mommy like the little child always called him but choose to say father instead. Only Sun was allowed to call him mommy but no one else should dare call him the child's mother since he was a man and not a woman.

Kongpob was flabbergasted, lost for words upon hearing Arthit's confession that meant only joy for him. Did he heard him right? Arthit atmitted that he was the child's parent too, right? It meant they would be a complete family from now on. Finally the words he got to listen to the words he always wanted to hear ever since he adopted Sun. The younger man couldn't calm down anymore, his mind was in a mess, his heart racing too fast that he feared it could stop beating anytime. Would he get a cardiac infarction if it his heartbeat didn't slow down? He touched at his chest to have peace with his mind and his restless heart. Really, P'Arthit will be the death of me someday... I won't even survive our relationship for too long.

They stared each other deep in the eyes, Kongpob saw a glimpse of an unknown emotion reflecting in Arthit's beautiful round eyes. It was the first time he realize the older one having this kind of feeling. It was worry and determination, reminding him of the many times he was anxious whenever Sun got sick. In this moment, the shorter man looked like a parent who was worried over his child's health and safety. He finally got the parent's inctinct.

The longer he stared into the shorter man's puppy like eyes, the more he got to understand why Arthit wanted to be included in their plot. He wanted to protect Sun too, just like he had to protect Sun and P'Arthit. He came to one conclusion: Arthit was determined to keep their child and him safe so he would never convince him to stay out of this plan anymore. Arthit's determination was too strong as his desire to keep him out of danger!

A little smile played around Kongpob's lips, it was a mischievous and determined one. A cheeky smile that showed how confident he was with Arthit, he knew Arthit wanted that kiss too. A kiss to get rid of the tense atmosphere in the air. A passionate kiss to show their love to each other. Kongpob came closer to Arthit, touching him on the waist, pulling him gently to his body, their tight so close to each other, feeling each other's presence. Arthit could feel Kongpob's fit body, every of his muscles. The taller one grabbed at Arthit's neck, his lips parted from each other, they were placed on Arthit's sweet, red lips. He kissed him, slowly, softly but with a little force too. It turned wild but only slightly wild, their tongues grazing against each other's, tasting each other's scent. Kongpob smiled while having his beloved one locked in his safe embrace, their lips mingling and their tongues playing with each other.

Arthit was short of breath, his lungs screaming for lack of oxygen, he was panting, moaning to signal his fan that he needed to be fred to get some air to breath. However Kongpob didn't have the slightest intention of letting him escape his hug, Arthit had to use violence, hitting on his chest many time, giving him the signal that he to let him survive the kiss. Kongpob had to force himself to take his lips from Arthit's, stil having his cheeky smile plastered on his face. But this time Arthit couldn't resist the smile of this handsome man in front of him, it was contagious, Arthit's lips curved up into a lovely smile too.

Even though he just got a taste of Arthit's lips, Kongpob was stil gazing at his boyfriend's lips, wishing to lock his lips against his again. He fell deep in though, his full attention on the shorter man's beautiful face. Those soft lips, they were tasting like sweets. Actually he hated sweets but he loved the sweet taste of Arthit's lips. No, he was obsessed with his sweetness, would like to taste and smell them every day. It robbed him from his senses, so overwhelming was the taste of Arthit's lips. Both of them ended up smiling at their own silliness of not being able to resist their feelings for each other, Arthit giggling while Kongpob was laughing. There were no traces of the heavy tension in the air anymore, it was more of a romantic and funny atmosphere, love was in the air too. They were laughing peacefully, not worrying about their plan neither about tomorrow that was their future. Laughter was the best medicine indeed. According to themselves, they would overcome every obstacle that was blocking their way to happiness and a bright future. It was just a step away from their happiness and they would get there soon, they only needed to be persistent and persevere.

****

Back to the gravel car park near the forest where they left Kongpob's second car P'Net stole while abducting Arthit this morning. Kongpob couldn't keep his hands from Arthit. The older man was standing in front of him, giving him a little smile, revealing his cute dimple, assuring him that everything would be alright. They exchanged a little peck on the lips before the taller man pulled his fan closer to his body and hugged him tightly. He heaved a heavy sight, had difficuty to let him go out of his safe arms. His heart was restless, his instinct warning him that something would go wrong.

„I'll come right after you and take you home, P'Arthit!", it was a promise he would never fail to implement. He had to keep his words or he would lose both Arthit and Sun. This sad situation reminded him of the old days when his Phee was kidnapped and he was searching for him, desperate, scared and worried about his life. He had to investigate on his own to find him, only to realize that P'Net had taken him away from him. The day he had Arthit back in his arms, was a moment he would never forget. That time, he was scared for Arthit's life but also joyful for having him back in his life.

„I'm not scared or worried, Kongpob...", Arthit said, breaking the embrace then whispering in his ear, „I know you'll come for me". He leaned his head on the younger one's shoulder, ignoring the spectators surrounding them, mumbling something only Kongpob could hear. „I love you", it was his confession he kept in his heart the whole time. A kind of love that gave him strength to keep fighting for their bright future. A bittersweet love that was painful yet too beautiful to let it go.

Kongpob's lips curved up into a genuine smile upon hearing the heart warming confession he missed so much. His heart skipped a beat, he had to fight the lust that threatened to escape the cage, reveal itself and make him place kisses and hickeys all over his body. „I love you too... I will always do...", he replied. But it wasn't the last time he would hear and say those lovely three words. They would meet again soon and exchange those beautiful three words in joy.

Arthit approached the car that was a few meters away from them, gazing back and taking a last look from Kongpob before climbing in the car. He took place on the driver's seat, P'Net was beside him on the passenger's seat. Kongpob agreed to involve Arthit in their plan but he felt heartbroken and scared to let him leave with the dangerous P'Net. Of course, he was worried and would prefer to keep him out of this situation but it was his Phee's decision to take part in their plot.

The two detectives were beside Kongpob, giving order to their colleagues that they should follow Arthit Rojnapat, not leaving their eyes of him for a second. P'Net couldn't take his eyes from Arthit, his crush he stil had feelings for. He gulped hard, had to hold back the urge to touch and kiss him. Now that he promised to keep him safe, he had to behave like a good child and protect him. It was necessary to win his trust, receive his forgiveness and live free. Even if he would never forgive himself for abducting and abusing him, a piece of his guilt would fade away when knowing that he fought to save Arthit.

Arthit drove the car away, stealing another look from Kongpob in the middle mirror of the car. Kongpob too had his eyes on Arthit, stepping forwards to call him back but the female detective grabbed at his hand, shaking her head that he shouldn't ruin their plan for them. He kept staring at him til they disappeared in the main road.

Lek was stil waiting for his partner in crime, Net, to appear before him with the kidnapped Arthit Rojnapat. He looked at the watch around his wrist, it was already five p.m. Too late! He heard that Net successfully abducted the prey five hours ago but they didn't arrive til now. The village he choose for the exchange with Arthit and Sun, wasn't too far away Bangkok. Or maybe he met some problems on his way here? Maybe the police captured him again. There weren't any more news about them on the radio. He hold tighter onto the gun in his hand, cursing, walking back and forth, racking his fingers through his hair. Am I worrying too much? I just hope that he won't betray me at the end, that bastard!

He was about to turn on the news on radio as the gate of the abandoned building got open, revealing two young men in front of him. Lek hide the gun in his jeans behind his back when he recognized the strangers as Net and Arthit. Net pushed Arthit forward to make him move faster, showing that he had control over the shorter man and could teach him fear even though he adored him than himself. Lek was surprised at Net's achievement but he didn't show it, he didn't expect the latter to suceed bringing their target here. It went well with a little delay but he was relieved that he managed to get their prey here. Now he only had to implement his own plan. The reason why he helped that bastard called Net to break out, was due to revenge on Arthit and Kongpob. Revenge for making Dalika, his lover's life, into a living hell.

„Tie him on the chair", he told Net, pointing to the only chair he placed some meters away in the big hall that looked more like an abandoned fabric.

Net was unwilling to bound his crush to the chair but he had to act calm to not let his partner realize the plan they plotted against him. Maybe he would gain Lek's trust, making him to let his guard around him down, it would mean his chance to circumvent him and take his firearm from him. He pushed Arthit forward to move his feet, ordering the latter to sit down. Arthit, somehow having a bad feeling about his own idea to let Net take him as hostage, was staring at Net, how the latter took the rope from the ground, tying him to the chair. Now he wouldn't get a chance to move neither escape again. He had his attention on Lek now, couldn't take his eyes from him. Apparantly he was more worried about P'Lek than about P'Net who was the man who abducted him before, held him capture in his basement and abused him. Somehow there was dangerous aura coming from Lek, showing that he was really there to end their lives. Arthit gulped hard, trembling due to his fear for Lek.

Lek called Net to come over to him, telling him to give him his gun to see whether he needed charge of bullet or not. The taller man was suspicious about his request to have his gun but he brought it out, giving it to his partner. Lek realized that there was one bullet missing in Net's gun, meaning he fired a bullet before. But why? He just looked at the man in front of him, suddenly pointing his own weapon at Net, putting the latter's gun in his jeans.

Net acted susprised at his strange behaviour, making a serious expression, „What do you think you're doing?", the taller man remained calm even thought he was boiling in rage. How dare he pointed a weapon at him after helping him by abducting his Nong again?

„I know what I'm doing! I never told you that I'll let you live after I take my revenge on those two bastards who killed Dalika...", the truth he was hiding the whole time finally came out. He shot the firearm, a bullet hit Net's knee.

The taller one fell down on the ground, holding onto his injured knee, screaming and moaning in pain. Blood was gushing out of the wound, it was an unsightly injury. Arthit was in shock, his eyes widened in shock. Lek rummaged in his pocket, bringing out some letters wrapped in envelope but they were open, it seemed the receiver of the letters already read them.

Lek's face darkened, a heavy atmosphere was in the air. „Those are the letter you sent Dalika when she was stil living. I read every one of them. It contained the sick details you wrote her to make her lose her mind". His voice raised, his veins showing due to his anger", You dirty piece of sh** forced her to commit suicide", he said through gritted teeth, loathing Net more than Arthit and Kongpob since he drove her to death. „I won't forgive you for toying with her life!", he went to the injured man, searching for something in his pocket, finding the item he was looking for. It was a cellphone.

Net wanted to grab at his enemy's leg and pull him down to hit him but Lek just took a step back to avoid his touch. A mischievous smile plastered on his face, he smirked to provoke him, laughing at the wounded man's helplessness. He approached Arthit. The closer he got to him, the more scared Arthit got. Hs instinct was warning him that he should run for his life but he was bound to a chair, wouldn't move freely like he wanted to. Now he understood it, he was doomed right now. Resistence was futile. Not only couldn't he run away but Net had to witness the love of his life in danger, not being able to help him. Lek's lips curved up, an evil smile appeared, making him look more like a devil instead of a human.

Of course, he only helped Net out to take his revenge on him too. There was a reason why he let Net of all people to bring Arthit here and tie him to the chair. The reason? He did it to raise P'Net's guilt, a guilt that emerged for bringing Arthit in danger by abducting him, taking him to the devil and taking his only chance to escape away by tying him on a chair. He would never forgive himself for letting Arthit get hurt. It was like killing two birds with one stone.

P'Net was yelling, calling for Lek to come back, warning him that he would kill him if he dared to hurt Arthit. Even though he was whimpered in pain, he stil cared for Arthit than for his own life. Lek pointed his gun at the shorter man, Arthit closed his eyes, ready himself to die on the spot. But instead of a gunshot, he heard the sound of the cellphone when calling someone. He opened his eyes slowly only to see Lek calling someone. It didn't last long as the person on the other line talked, sounding agitated for an unknown reason. Arthit's eyes widened in shock when he recognized that voice.

„P'Net, where is P'A...", the deep voice didn't get the chance to finish his question as Lek interrupted him, speaking in a low voice. Kongpob remained silent when he noticed that the person calling him wasn't his Phee. However he recognized that voice. P'Lek!

„Long time no see, Kongpob... The last time I saw you, you chased after me to catch me. Because of you, I had to leave the country and hide in some rural village and keep low for years..."

„Where is P'Arthit?", the younger man came to point, didn't want to beat around the brush and endanger his Phee's life.

„Apparantly you didn't miss me as much as I did...", he took a look at Arthit, pushing the gun against his head to provoke him, showing him that he had the upper hand and could kill him anytime.

Arthit was in a tight spot but it didn't mean that he should act like a damsel in distress. He was glaring at him, sending ray of hate in his opponent's direction, wishing he could free himself and jump at him to prevent him from calling Kongpob over. Lek could feel Arthit's hate growing for him, he was enjoying the moment of victory.

„You don't need to worry about him. He's safe... For now!", he loved to see both love birds worrying for each other, trembling for each other's life without knowing whether they would leave that place alive or not.

He placed the cellphone over Arthit's ear to let him speak to his fan before he would end both of them. But the hostage refused to speak, closing his mouth so tight that no word would escape his mouth. Instead of screaming for help, Arthit yelled at Kongpob to not come search for him. Lek panted from anger, suddenly hitting the gun on the shorter man's head before the latter could finish his sentence. Arthit didn't have a choice as to make a little moan. The cut on his head was bleeding but he was stubborn, insisting of not begging Kongpob to save him like the enemy expected from him. Why? He could guess Lek's intention. He knew Lek had the intention to shot him in front of Kong and P'Net. Maybe he wouldn't even kill Kongpob but only injure him, leaving him broken hearted and grieving over his death. Never would he allow him to mess with his Kongpob's life. Neither with Sun's life.

Kongpob who heard the hit from before, was agitated, boiling in rage. Only one thought swirled in his mind right now: Kill Lek. „I swear, I'll kill you if...", the younger man said through gritted teeth, his chest tightened, it hurted to hear Arthit's cry of help.

„Yeah, you'll kill me if I touch him. Net said the same to me a while ago too but he's laying there now and moaning in pain due to the bullet stuck in his leg. Don't worry, you'll join your sweetheart soon, N'Kongpob...". He made a serious expression, his voice so firm like never before, „I want you to come at xxx in two hours. Be sure to come alone", he didn't even let Kong come to words, adding the last words before hunging up.

Arthit was surprised that the taller didn't order Kongpob to bring Sun here. Why didn't you ask for Sun, your son? Or aren't you interested on him anymore? His thought was interrupted by Lek, it seemed that the taller man already guessed the reason why Arthit was quiet all the sudden.

„I'll kill both of you than go to my son and take him with me", now he revealed his plan he hide from the beginning. Right now he didn't have time to take care of Sun. He needed to take his revenge before going for Sun. To kill Arthit and Kongpob in front of his little boy, would traumatise his son. Even if he was cold towards his enemies, he would never hurt Sun. He was Dalika and his son after all. A son he had to raise alone from now.

Arthit was panting, struggling to free himself but Net, the idiot, tied him too tight that it was impossible to escape from here. Why didn't they think sooner that Lek could had read the 8 letters Net sent Dalika, one each mouth til she died? Nobody came to the idea that Lek wasn't an idiot to believe that Net was working together with him. It was a stupid mistake, a mistake they could had prevent if they did think further about Lek's intelligence.

Kongpob's eyes were stared at the window, he clenched his hands into fists, almost squeezing the expensive cellphone in pieces. He dashed out of his bedroom, meeting the detective who were waiting for him the living room. The detectives felt the heavy tension Kongpob brought with him, he was panting, his hands trembling, his lips moving to say something but he was lost of words.

„They... Lek have P'Net", he decided to tell them the truth instead of hiding it from them and rush there alone.

The older detective was about to speak through her walkie-talkie, telling the polices who were hiding in the bush and waiting for order to attack Lek and Net. She wanted them to storm in the building and free the hostage since their plan failed. Kong grabbed at her wrist, preventing her from giving the order. He insisted to not take an action right now since they could trigger something in P'Lek, making him shoot his Phee to avenge him for playing with him. If they didn't want his Phee to get hurt then he had to listen to Lek and drive there to comfront him by himself. Kongpob and the female detective argued about the way the taller man wanted to take to have Arthit back. She warned him that his way was too dangerous and he could end up killing Arthit and himself in the process. The taller man refused to listen to her, he refused to act according to their own wish. As he was about to raise his voice, Sun walked in the room, falling onto his father's legs. The little boy had tears in his eyes, shaking in fear.

„Daddy go too?", Sun asked, realizing that his father would leave him too. He felt anxious without his parents around.

Kongpob turned to his son, going to one knee and touching the boy's shoulder. „Daddy needs to go somewhere but I promise that I'll come back soon", it was a promise he had to keep or Sun would be devasted if both of them were gone. If his mommy didn't come in a few hours back, he would begin crying. Ever since Sun met Arthit and recognized him as his mother, he changed into a lovely and joyful child like the other children, always seeking for mommy's acknowlegde and attention. He liked to follow him everywhere. Kongpob felt delighted and free whenever Arthit and Sun were laughing. Their presence, warm smile and laughter filled him whole. So he had to go there and bring Arthit back to complete their family again.

Sun clenched onto his daddy's tight, refusing to let him go. But Kongpob knew how to calm him down. He just needed to mention his mommy, telling him that he had to pick his mommy up and drive him back home. Sun changed all the sudden, letting go of his father, pushing him forward to go quickly to his mommy he was missing so much. Kongpob smiled brightly, he had to keep a strong face if he didn't want to scare Sun.

Mrs. Rojnapat was hiding beside the entrance, she was eavesdropping at their conversation, catching Kongpob saying that their plan didn't work and Lek took her only son as hostage. She covered her mouth with both hands to not let any sound escpape, she was in pain upon knowing that her son was taken away by bad guys again. Her eyes were filled with tears, they were streaming down but she couldn't vent her feelings as she heard someone stepping closer to her. She ran to hide in the bathroom next to her, hiding from Kongpob. She didn't want him to see her crying or he would be sad, just like the time when Khun Net abducted her child 3 years ago. She didn't want him to feel guilty but only needed him to bring her son back, safe and sound. Please, be safe and come back alive!

Kongpob knocked on the big gate just like Lek wanted him to do when he arrived there and called out for the older man's name. He opened the door and stepped in the building only to see Arthit tied on the chair and P'Lek standing behind him. Somewhere not too far away from them, there was the injured P'Net, laying on the ground, his face pale and his lips blue from too much bloodloss. His lips were trembled, he wanted to call for Arthit, asking him whether he was alright or not. His heart almost jumped out of his skin when he noticed the dried blood in his boyfriend's face, it was the blood that dripped from the cut on his head. He approached them but was stopped from Lek in the middle of the way.

„Stop there!", Lek ordered him, his gun stil pointing at Arthit, threatening Kongpob that he would hurt his bodyfriend if he stepped closer to them. He had to maintain a distance between the younger one and him to avoid him stealing the firearm from him. He loved to see the three men desperate, fighting to save each other's life.

Kongpob waited there just like Lek wanted from him. Lek mentioned the reason why he came out of his hideout back to Thailand. Although he mentioned the rediculous reason before, he repeated it again. He called Dalika a beautiful and smart woman who would reach her goal if she set her mind onto it. He admitted it that she used some of her psychological trick on him to control him but he didn't mind it as long as he could be beside her. He blamed Net, Arthit and Kongpob for Dalika's suicide, hating them for taking the most important people from his life away. Dalika and Sun! Today would be payback, he would give them the double amont of pain they gave him.

„She was great?", he smirked, „Great my a**!". He continued insulting Dalika he loathed so much that he felt cringeworthy upon hearing and calling out her name. He continued mocking her, „She was beautiful but she wasn't right in her mind. Dalika was crazy and too ambitious, determined to break Arthit and me."

„What did you say?"

„You heard me right!", Kongpob had to provoke him and turn his hate, also his attention on him so he would step away from Arthit so he could focuse on him instead. Maybe he could overwhelm him and take the gun away then free Arthit from there. It had to work or both of them would die on the spot, leaving Sun alone.

The idea worked, Lek, an idiot he could be, couldn't control his anger anymore. He walked over to Kongpob, pointing the gun at his forehead, threatening to shot at him if he didn't take his words back. But it was Kongpob's chance to take over, he grabbed at the weapon but Lek didn't let go of his gun either, both struggling and fighting over a stolen gun. All the sudden something bumped against Lek, knocking him down against the ground. Kongpob looked to them, realizing Net clenching his teeth, swallowing and ignoring the pain, fighting against his partner in crime. Lek was on the ground, Net was above him, pinning the opponent down to the ground, hitting his hand that was holding the gun on the cement. Lek loosened the grip he was holding the weapon with, it came out of his hand. Net used the chance and kicked the gun away, it landed far away from them. Kongpob was speechless, gazing at them in surprise.

„What do you think you're doing? Go and take Arthit away!", he yelled at his Nong, didn't even care that both hated each other. Arthit was the only thing they had in common, the only person capable of bringing them together to fight alongside against the devil.

While P'Net was struggling to overpower Lek, Kongpob rushed to Arthit's side, untied him from the rope. Instead of running away in safety, Kongpob mustered Arthit from head to toes to see whether his fan was unscathed or not. The only injury the shorter man received, was the small cut on his head. Lek pressed against the latter's wounded knee, giving him pain to make him weak. Net shout a painful scream, grabbing at his knee. The enemy took the second gun out, aiming at Arthit.

Kongpob shouted at the detectives to enter the building and arrest Lek, it was the signal he agreed with the police. A signal Kong had to shout when he took control over the situation. Lek finally knew that he was trapped like a fish in a fishnet, there was no way for him to escape anymore. He had to use his only chance, kill one of them at least. There was only one person he needed to kill. Only one person's death would be devasting enough for the other two. He aimed the gun at one of them. Of course it was none than Arthit. He shot at him.

Bang!

It was the sound of gun firing in the air. The bullet hit someone's chest, the person looked down at his chest, blood dripping down from the wound. The other two persons froze on the spot, their attention at the man who got shot just now. P'Net's heartbeat accelerated but his breath turned shallow, his vision was blurry. He was too weak to stay kneeled on his knees, he fell down to the hard ground, gasping for air, his eyes glaring at the ceiling. Arthit couldn't believe that P'Net took a bullet for him. 3 whole years he hated his Phee and wished to kill him if he faced him again. Now the man he wanted dead, was really dying after saving him. He wasn't dying like he expected him to end but was dying like a hero after blocking Lek's way to receive the bullet instead.

Lek wasn't satisfied with the resultat yet, he could hear many footsteps coming closer to the bulding. Surely the polices were surrounding the area, cornering him to block his escaping route. He aimed at Arthit to shoot him but it was Kong who stood in his way, keeping himself as a shield to protect his boyfriend. Lek had his finger around the trigger, ready to fire again.

Bang!

Another sound coming from a firearm. One man was down, laying on his back, his eyes staring at the ceiling, his past flashing before his eyes as if he was seing a vision. Only two persons survived the hostage case. Many police officers entered the building, screaming that everyone should surrounder and lay on the ground. The gun that shot just now fell down to the ground, making a loud sound when hitting against the cement. Everyone and everything went quiet, no one dared to speak first and break the awkward silence. A heavy atmosphere covered the air, the air was so thick that it was hard to breath under this circumstance. Right, nobody expected the hostage-taking to end like this!

*********************************************

Who died and who shot? Like I mentioned before Sun isn't Arthit's son but only looked like him. Most babies and children have round Face with chubby cheeks just like Arthit so Seung Il was just teasing him 😅😅
And what do you think of this extra long chapter?  Feel free to comment in the comment ection :D

I watched Sotus S the Series not long ago, I delayed watching it because I wasn't brave enough to watch it since I didn't want it to end. It was really beautiful and more adapted to the real life.  I can't believe that it' ended already. I WANT A SEASON 3... They can't let me down like this, I need Arthit/Kongpob and Krist/Singto portion of love to survive
