*********************************
On Saturday early in the morning, Arthit and Kongpob decided to spent the weekend on the Phuket beachside just like Arthit planed a week ago. Actually the reason for the brief holiday was for the taller man to spare more time with Sun he neglected in the past few weeks. They finally arrived at the seaside few minute ago, loaded off their luggages in the double bedroom they rent for their accommodation. Sun slept trhough the entire drive and didn't even woke up as they arrived there so Arthit just put him down on one of the double bed to take a break too. He just settled down on the comfortable sofa, heaving a sight of relief that he could finally take a break.
Everybody knew that Arthit wasn't a morning person but since they had to leave early today, he had to wake up as first to take care of their breakfast then pack the luggages together with Kongpob. Now he was relieved to take a little break. Before he could make himself a drink to appease his thirst, Sun talked in his sleep and ended up to wake up due to Kongpob making loud noises when packing their stuffs out of the luggages. The boy stared at Kong, remained silent for a whole minute. Apparantly he seemed confused that they were in their car just a minute ago but were suddenly in a hotel. How did daddy do that? Maybe we fly here like superman? Sun was looking for a reasonable reason how they could arrive here in a minute. Silly boy! Or maybe innocent boy? He was too young to realize that he missed the whole trip because he begon to sleep as soon as they left their house. However he immediately asked for his mother as he looked around and didn't find him anywhere.
Arthit, upon hearing Sun calling him, drank a sip from the cold water, sighing exhausted. He walked back in the bedroom, standing in front of the door. Somehow he couldn't hold back the anger residing in him, glaring at the taller man, expressing how angry he was at him for waking Sun up. He went to Kongpob. The younger man realized the anger raising in his Phee's eyes, his angry look warning him he should be careful if he didn't want to get killed.
„I'm going to kill you...", he threatened Kongpob through gritted teeth, his voice so faint that the little boy wouldn't hear him cursing his daddy. He pretended to rub on Kongpob's arm but was secretly pinching him there, „Do you have the slighest idea how hard it is to take care of a child?". He averted his gaze to Sun, smiling at him while still gritting his teeth, „And you just woke him up... You ruined my plan to relaxe for a bit..."
Kongpob could only apologize during the whole attack on him even though he was secretly enjoying the little play between Arthit and him. Somehow he was surprised at himself that he didn't feel any pain but pleased when Arthit pinched him, trying to hurt him. Strange! Maybe waiting for Arthit in those 3 years turned me into a masochist?
Since Sun woke up anyway and refused to lay down again, they decided to leave for the beach while it wasn't still crowded. It would be filled with many visitors from noon on so they have to be there to find a place to lay down before it get crowded. They changed into comfortable clothes for the beach, wearing short pants and sleeveless Shirt. With Sun standing between them, holding their hands, they walked to the beach.
Kongpob searched for a better place in the middle for them, it wasn't so close nor far away from the sea. Sun begon playing with the sands, building a sand castle with his daddy's help. Meanwhile Arthit remained sitted on the blanked they laid down on the sands, watching father and son playing to his heart content. As soon as Kongpob was showing the boy how to build a sand castle, the younger man's phone kept ringing, earning a side look from the shorter man. Arthit grunted at him, feeling slighty disappointed at him for breaking their promise. Before they left their house, Kong promised him not to bring anything from work with them but he still dared to let his phone on, disturbing their peaceful holiday. Kong apologized to him for picking up the phone but he had to take the call since it was from his father. After promising the shorter man to end the call in a minute, he went aside to take the phone, talking with his father who wanted him to come to the office and work on an important file with him.
Sun craved for ice cream so he asked his mommy to buy it for him. Arthit looked aside to the taller man, wanted to leave the child behind to run at the ice cream shop but Kongpob was still busy talking on the phone. He just hold onto Sun's hand, approaching the shop with him. He just let the child's hand to pick their favourite flavour he needed to buy but as he looked aside, Sun wasn't beside him anymore. His heart almost jumped out of his mouth, chocking him for a moment. He looked around to search for him. The world around him stopped due to the shock. It took him a minute to realize the situation he was in. Sun disappeared! His heart beat accelerated, he could only hear his heart beating against his chest, the saleswoman shouting at him to pay for the ice creams disturbing his loud heart rhythm.
Meanwhile Kongpob rejected his father's request to return, telling him that he needed to spend more time with Arthit and Sun. He neglected Sun in the past few weeks so he needed to be there for him as his father. Beside he would like to restore his relationship with Arthit too. His last explaination brought a proud smile on his father's face: Someday I want to be a father for Sun he would be proud to just like you're to me. I want to be a lovely and loyal husband to Arthit just like you're to mother, por. With a smile on his lips, he ended the phonecall, turning around to search for them. After pondering about their whereabout, he remembered that Arthit left him a message that they were going to buy ice cream. When he took off his shirt due to the strong heat and wanted to settle down on the ground, his father instinct warned him all the sudden, urging him to search for Arthit and Sun. He took his way to the shop, leaving their stuffs behind since it wasn't important right now.
Arthit could finally move again, starting running out of the shop but he had to freeze at the entrance as soon as he stepped outside. Something unexpected played in front of him. There was a handsome young man walking towards him, holding a little boy in his arms. The man was topless, revealing his fit brawny bodybuild to the visitors of the beach, earning some hungry looking eyes at him. Arthit was flabbergasted upon seeing Kongpob approaching him. His ex-fiance resembled a popular actor walking on the red carpet tha was just meant for him. Arthit already imagined the spotlight shining on him, many fans flashing their cameras while taking many pictures of him. When Kongpob finally arrived in front of him, both father and son smiled to him, the younger man looked like a hero he was grateful towards. A hero who found their son he lost a moment ago and brought him back to him, the heroone.
Arthit's eyes were shining, showing pure adoration he felt toward Kongpob. His heart skipped a beat, his eyes reflecting his happiness and relief for having Kongpob and Sun in his life. A sweet smile played around Kongpob's lips as he noticed Arthit being speechless, staring at his sixpack with his hungry eyes, bitting on his underlip. Arthit moved his mouth many times to speak but Kongpob's hot body was too tempting, making him lost for words. Both young men were staring at each other, their eyes burning flames of desire, love and pleasure. A soft breeze blew around, touching their skins, letting chill run down their spines. There was a calm atmosphere surrounding them, love was in the air. It was obvious that they were a couple.
The silence was broken by a young boy running to them, holding the cold ice creams to them and asking them to pay for it. Arthit apologized to the saleswoman for running away suddenly but the latter was understanding, telling them that she would do the same like him when he explained the situation to her. The taller man payed for the icecreams as apology to Arthit for taking a phone call on their holiday.
„Where did you find him?", Arthit was curious to know about it.
Kongpob pointed a finger to a woman strolling around with her puppies, explaining him that Sun loved puppies and would always run to the person whenever he found someone holding puppies. According to him Arthit needed to be more attentive whenever a dog or a cat was around Sun. He told him many stories of him running after Sun just to keep him back from taking someone's else puppy. The shorter man chuckled, found Sun's adoration for dogs too sweet to be angry at him. However he was relieved that their child came back safely.
„Why won't you buy a dog for him?"
„He's allergic to them...", there was the reason why Sun didn't have any domnestic animals till now to play with. „Since he always asked me to buy him a puppy but I can't, I'm thinking of buying a turtle or a bird for him."
„It would be a great idea though."
The three of them took the way back to the place they loaded their stuffs for the beach, licking on their ice cream they craved for. Many couple with their children were around them, taking a look at the sweet couple with their child between them. The shorter man listened to an old couple talking about Sun being cute just like his daddy but he couldn't retaliate to it because he knew they were talking about Kongpob. He would retaliate to it and take the compliment if they mentioned that Sun was cute like his mommy. Why? Because he already accepted his role as Sun's mommy he loved than his father. But he was secretly enjoying the fact that the old couple mentioned his man and son to be cute just like a proud wife and mother would be.
After eating their ice cream, Kongpob and Sun were playing in the water, splashing water on each other, laughing while enjoying themselves. Their laughter filled the beachside, making it shining from the brighter side. Arthit sat down on the ground, bending up his legs, watching Kongpob spending more time with their sun. He peeled some apples for them to eat later. His lips curved up into a smile, his eyes were shining in happiness.
All the sudden a snapping sound resounded behind them, someone took a picture of Arthit. The person aimed the camera at Kongpob and Sun, taking more picture of the little boy who was laughing with his father, waiving his hand to mommy.

It was night time, maybe shortly before midnight, the sky was filled with many stars shining the darkness away. Arthit and Kongpob were on their way back to the beach to stroll around for a bit. They were strolling at the empty beach, Kongpob holding Sun in his arms who fell asleep on the way to there, the boy had his head leaned on his broad shoulder. They walked barfeets on the warm sands, letting their feet being massaged by the sands, waves forming on the sea, water coming over to them, touching their feets and stealing sands under their feets. It was soothing to have the warm water grazing their skins, the seabreeze was calming too.
All the sudden a warm hand grazed against the younger man's skin, the hand grabbing at his hand, intertwining their fingers together. As he looked aside, he noticed Arthit smiling at him, showing him their intertwined hands that was meant to stay together. Even though they had issues to talk about but they follow the flow of the wind and listened to their hearts. This time they didn't have to express their feelings to know each other's desire, words alone weren't enough to describe their emotions for each other. Kongpob knew Arthit gave him a second chance to open a new chapter. A chapter that should secure their bright future from today on.
Finally they arrived at the ir determination, a place at the beach where many people gathered. The moment they found a place behind the crowd, there was a loud sound echoing in the sky, embellishing the dark starry sky with colourful fireworks, signalizing new year begin. Today was the day a new year began but also the day Arthit choose to close the old chapters full with painful memories of his life to forget the past and begin a new whole new filled with love and happiness with Kongpob. Sometimes to begin a relationship from zero, wasn't bad because it would give one the chance to change oneself and make up for everything. It was their chance to turn their misfortunes into fortunes.
More fireworks shout in the sky, some of the fireworks forming a heart in the sky. Everybody was focused at the beautiful scenerio happening in the sky, some couples were kissing for the new year. Kongpob's attention was fixed at the fireworks too, his view was suddenly blocked. There was a beautiful face with red lips close to his face, the person's pair of big round eyes staring into his eyes, making him fall deeper in the owner of those round eyes. Arthit was standing on his toes, he placed his soft red lips on Kongpob's, slightly opening his mouth, tilting his head aside. He kissed him tenderly, with much passion. Kongpob froze, his eyes went wide in surprise. He didn't expect Arthit to take the first step and kiss him first.
Kongpob closed his eyes, kissing Arthit tenderly, their tongues slightly grazing each other, their exhaled warm breath brushing against their soft skin. Meanwhile fireworks exploded in the starry sky, lightening the darkness away with its colourful lights. Arthit touched the taller man on the neck, sending vibration of pleasure through Kongpob's entire body, making chill running down his spine.
Arthit broke the kiss, taking his lips from the taller man. It was a brief kiss but lovely enough to make their hearts skip a beat in a rhythmus and conjuring a romantic feeling around them. Arthit blushed, smiling at him, revealing his cute dimple that brought a smile on Kongpob's lips too, making the latter look more handsome than he already was. The shorter man gave him a little kiss on the cheek. Kongpob leaned his arm around Arthit, pulling him closer to his body, the latter leaned his head on his shoulder. Kongpob's other arm strongly hold onto his hip, his shoulders were now occupied by his wife and his son who leaned their heads on it.
Arthit and Kongpob went back in their hotelroom after celebrating new year on the beachside with Sun sleeping in his daddy's arms, surrounded by many fireworks. The taller man laid the little child on the bed to sleep more comfortably. They walked in the bathroom to brush their teeth, standing side by side to look at their reflection in the mirror. Their toothbrushes were put in a mug, Sun's blue child's toothbrush between them, signifying the relationship between the three. Kongpob shared the toothpaste with him, holding it before Arthit. The shorter man's finger brushed against Kongpob's hand when taking the paste. Both men smiled to each other. There wasn't any awkwardness between them, only love was laying in the air, making their surroundings more comfortable. Surely they had a long road to walk before they could stand on the top of the cliff where they were standing 3 years ago but they could achieve their goal if they work their problems out.
After brushing their teeth, both men went to sleep too without further delay. Although their tireness faded away with the kiss on the beach, they forced themselves to bed. They went in seperate bed, Arthit laying next to Sun while Kongpob laid on the second bed beside them. There was a lovely silence in the atmospherre, Arthit was still too shy to face Kongpob right now. His face was red from embarrassment, his body temperature raising even though he was feeling hot already. He felt deep eyes watching him from his back. Surely Kongpob was staring at him, adoring him in secret.
Both knew the kiss was everything, meaning they wanted to give their love another chance but they didn't talk about the matters residing in their heart nor about the kiss. Arthit would like to know if he lived with Dalika as he left. Kongpob would like to know more about the reason Arthit left him and whether he dared a relationship with someone else in South Korea. Maybe he had a relationship with P'Seung Il? But it seemed today wasn't the time for a talk since Arthit just decided to try it again with the taller man. He didn't want to ruin the mood and have his heart broken again with Kongpob's story because he feared the latter had a happy life with Dalika while he suffered in a hospital in another country.
Arthit turned around, facing Sun instead of Kongpob, patting the boy's stomach. Kongpob turned aside to face the wall but his bed suddenly moved, making a creak sound. As he turned back, he noticed Arthit climbing on his bed, suddenly sleeping next to him without giving him a reason why he wanted to be beside him. Kongpob was surprised but flabbergasted too. The shorter man just slided closer to him, snuggling in his arms. It didn't take long for Kongpob to wrap his safe arms around him, pulling him gently in his arms. A quiet minute went by, both staring at the wall in front of them.
Arthit felt more comfortable now when laying beside Kongpob, the younger man always gave him safety and security. Kongpob always managed to take his worries and pain away. Surely he would have a sweet night tonight. A sweet smile appeared on both's faces, showing their happiness they had to fight for before having it within their grips. The taller man tightned the hug he embraced Arthit with, making sure the shorter man felt his body, every of his muscles and his hot temperature. His heart thumped hard, Arthit listened to the sweet sound his heart made. It was soothing, taking his worries away just like he hoped him to do.
„I talked with the therapist today and she told me she gave you an assignment. Why didn't you tell me that she wanted me to come with you from the next session just like she suggested you to do?"
„It isn't necessary. You has too much work to do so I thought I'll have to handle the therapy myself."
„You're wrong... I may have much work on my desk but my hardest and most important task are you... I have to concentrate more on you, the important task, so I won't make any mistake again", his eyes gazed in Arthit's shining eyes. He wrapped Arthit's hand in his own, closing it in his warm palm. „I did mean it when I said you're my priority, P'Arthit... I loved you, I still love you and will always love you... Please, believe more in me."
The sincerity in Kongpob's gentle voice flattered the shorter man, it let him remember many lovely moments he could spend with the latter but missed as he ran to Korea. He missed him so much that he began to regret his decision for leaving him without letting him know about his whereabout. Kongpob's cheesy line gave him courage to speak up his mind. He decided to have a conversation with him before going to sleep, telling him about his illness before he would hear it from somebody else. It was important that he explained it to him himself so the latter wouldn't blame himself for their misfortunes. He would be the only one to comfort him, making sure that he was fine now.
„I have to tell you something, Kong...", he began to talk, looking up in the latter's eyes only to realize that Kongpob already fell asleep. He chuckled, couldn't believe Kong to fall asleep so fast just like him. Actually he was the one in their relatonship who would sleep as soon as he jumped in the bed but Konpob would stay away, taking care of his document and clothes they needed for work before going to bed. Sometimes he would wake up in the night only to caught Kongpob staring at him if the latter couldn't sleep through the night. In the morning he would find himself embraced in the younger man's arms only to know that he had already shower and even made dinner for them before going back to snuggle beside him. Kong was the last to sleep but the first to wake up too. Somtimes Arthit needed to wake up earlier than him but he always failed since his dream was too lovely to wake up. But today evertyhing changed. He couldn't sleep like before, would find himself screaming and sweating in the night due to nightmares. Kongpob would sleep at last and even wake up after him. Maybe the taller man's work were too much so that he couldn't fight against his exhaustion anymore and finally had to give in to it.
Arthit placed his hand on Kongpob's chest, feeling his slow heartbeat. I'll tell you about my issue later. He whispered the following, „Have a nice dream, darling", this time he braved himself to give in to his temptation and call him darling just like he did 3 years ago.
****
While Arthit and Kongpob were falling into sweet night, the shorter man's best friend Knott couldn't sleep no matter how hard he tried to close his eyes and fall into dreamland. There were some heavy issues swirling in his mind, making it difficult for him to fall asleep. He sat in his kitchen, the room was dark since he didn't turn on the light. In front of him was a glass half filled with water on the table, a heavy tension was in air. There was another object laying next tot he glass on the table. It was a closed letter. A letter never opened by the man guarding it nor by the person it was addresed to. Two names were written on it:
For P'Arthit
From Dalika
Should I give him the letter I received from Dalika 3 years ago or should I wait for the right moment just like she requested from me? He racked his fingers through his hair, desperate about whether following his mind or his heart. His heart told him not to torture his best friend anymore and keep him on the tentderhooks. He should give him the message that contained Dalika's last will. His mind warned him to follow Dalika's wish, he should wait for the right moment. Beside Arthit and Kongpob were coming closer to each other again so maybe he didn't need to give it to him anyway. Since 3 years he was carrying the heavy burden on his shoulders, keeping Dalika's last will to himself without letting anyone know about it. Even though Dalika already confessed her wrongdoings to him, he was scared of the content of the letter. What is Dalika's intention for giving me this letter? What if I make everything worse by giving them the letter?
Flashback
Dalika sat on the bed in a hospital, her hand cuffed on the armrest of the bed. She looked like a human wreck. Her face was a mess, her hairs were standing up as if she didn't comb them over the past days. Her skin were paler than usual, she looked exhausted and in pain too. Her womb grew much since she was already in the seventh month. She caressed her womb, talking some nonsense like she couldn't feel her child in seventh months inside of her anymore. Knott had to call her many times till she finally regained her conscience and turned to face him. Her eyes were staring deep at him, her pupils didn't move for a while, making Knott scared of her psyche. She shook her head to come back to her senses, bringing out a letter she took 4 days to write it since she lost her sanity every hours and couldn't finish it earlier. After she finally confessed everything to the bulky man, she apologized to him for making his best friend suffer.
„Please give it to P'Arthit and...", her eyes teared up, she couldn't hold back her warm tears anymore. „And say I'm sorry for everything...", were her last words to him before she laid on the bed, turning aside to face the window, the morning light shining through the window on her face. Somehow her apology words sounded like a farwell.
Knott didn't feel right upon seeing her. It seemed she lost her sanity again, scratching at the armrest of the bed, bitting on her lips till it bleedd. The bulky man was worried. Not about her since he didn't give a damn about her. She did many bad thing to hurt Arthit so he couldn't forgive nor feel pity or empathy for her. But he cared about the child in her womb. The child wasn't dead. She didn't feel him anymore because she lost her bound to him. Her mother feelings disappeared with her determination to end everything. But the child was innocent, didn't deserve such a harsh treatment from his own mother. The more he gazed at her, the more scared he got so he left the hospital room for good.
End of flashback
Knott heaved a heavy sight, ruffling his hair messy. A little smile appeared on his face, he fell deep in though. If I knew you would commit suicide the next morning, I would do everything to keep you from taking your own and your child's life. Thanksfully the doctors managed to save Sun... The sweet child. Now his head was aching, he rubbed at his temple to ease the pain. He didn't like her but he never wished her to suffer till the end. Nor did he wish the boy to be born in such unnatural way. Somehow he felt blamed himself for her death since he had the slightest idea about her wanting to end her own life but he didn't react sooner by telling everyone about her intention. Another sigh escaped his mouth. Thanks Kongpob for taking the pitiful child as your own son. Thanks to Kongpob adopting the child, he wasn't riven by grief and guilty feeling.
**********************************
And what do you think of Arthit's and Kongpob's reunion? Who's the man taking pictures of them? A bad or good guy? And Knott has a letter that can make it worse or end their suffering? He don't know the content of the letter either so he's worried since he don't trust Dalika. But he don't want to open it either because it isn't addressed to him.
PS: I found something interesting in Wikipedia (English)... Did you know that 2 girls placed their names under spouse of Krist's and Singto's then they changed it a few days later :D Now Singto's registered as Krist's spouse and Krist as Singto's spouse :D I can't anymore
