Chapter 7

My aunt and JongHyun are finally laid to rest now so I decided to update the next chapter. Sorry that I had to delay the updates due to personal matter... I hope you enjoy this chapter... I choose a special song for you to listen to even if it's painful to listen to for every Shinee's fan...

Lonely by JongHyun and Taeyeon

Merry Xmas to everyone who's celebrating it 😊

*********************************

After Arthit and the taller man chatted for more than thirty minutes, Arthit had to leave his new customer to serve other customers too. Since the barkeeper who made him smile left, he didn't have anyone to talk with anymore so he just drank the second cocktail, sun's sweetness another barkeeper mixed for him on his request. Unfortunately it didn't taste because it wasn't mixed by Arthit himself but he still drank it. It was his sixth cocktail he gulped down to forget the painful past of his ex boyfriend who married his new fan.

It was midnight. Finally Arthit had time to take care of his new friend he met this night but the man was already drunk. Although he couldn't even talk properly, he still asked for another sun's sweetness. As a barkeeper tended to mix the drink for him, Arthit took the glass out of his customer's hand, shaking his head to his colleague to not give him anymore alcohol since he already had enough and was wasted. The shorter man went to the taller man's side, leaning his arm around his shoulders then helping him to stand straight at his feet. Kongpob too was about to leave with his sexy flirt. Both Kongpob and Arhit met on their way to the entrance. The younger man glared at Arthit but the bartender just ignored him, helping his new friend to walk to the entrance.

Since the man was taller and weighed more than him, Arthit was struggling to keep him upright. To see his enemy struggling to help a stranger, brought joy to Kongpob. He chuckled, leaning his arm around the woman's back, trying to provoke Arthit. The man almost slided out of Arthit's arms but he gently pulled him over to him, leaning him closer to his slim but short body. Now the smile in Kongpob's face dropped, he couldn't take it anymore to see the shorter man taking care of a stranger, he felt digusted at that sight. He almost puked on the ground, faking feeling nausea due to the shorter man's careful behaviour towards the drunken man.

The taller man staggered forwards, talking nonsense in his drunken state. When Arthit wanted to leave first, Kongpob forced his way through the entrance, slightly pushing the older man aside. Arthit almost fell aside, his body pressing against the wall since he tried to hold onto the dead weigh body in his arms. It hurted but he decided not to do anything against N'Kong but to just swear „bastard" behind him. Arthit helped the taller man to come out of the pub, they waited on the street whereupon the shorter man called for a cab. The driver parked in front of them, helping Arthit to support the bulky man to enter the car.

„Where should I bring him?", the driver asked, was curious about the two men's relationship if they knew each other or not since Arthit was specially taking care of him. He was surprised to know that they just met in the pub although they seemed to be close to each other.

Arthit apologized before touching the taller man but he searched in his pocket for his wallet. He found his identity card, reading his age, name and other information. „Mew Chaiyasan, 24 years old... I see", he smiled to Mew, „It's P'Arthit for you now...", he whispered softly to the man, acknowleding the younger man as his friend from today on.

Mew moved in his sleep as if he heard Arthit acknowledging as his friend, smacking as if he was eating something in his dream. Arthit chuckled, found the younger man cute to be truth. He gave the addres to the driver and told him to drive carefully. The driver drove on the way to the adress given to him. However Kongpob acted like a perfect gentlemen in front of the woman, opening the door for her and let her enter first. Before he climbed in the room, he took a look at Arthit. The latter was looking at him too but he mumbled „tsk" at him, turning away to leave for his work. Kongpob hated it to be looked down as if he was a dumbass, he clenched his hands into fist, bitting into his lips. The woman calling for him, made him have his gaze back on her. He sat down beside her on the backseat, telling Knott to drive him to the hotel he would always spent the night if he had a beautiful woman as company.

On the way there, the picture of Arthit smiling genuinely to the stranger, appeared on his mind. He felt somehow suffocated so he opened one of his button, pulling on his collar to breath easilier. The woman laid her arm around the taller man, snuggling closer to him and leaning her head on his broad shoulder. While Knott was trying to not look behind, Kongpob was fighting against his memory, trying to bane the picture of Arthit in his head. Damn it!

****

Kongpob and his flirt arrived in the five stars hotel he always visited whenever he brought a beautiful company. Here was his luxury place where he could play with women whenever he wanted. Here was also his oasis, the place where he could relaxe whenever stress was making his life difficult. Meanwhile he found out the name of his hot flirt. She was called Fawini, the beautiful. He asked himself why she told him her name because he would forget her anyway tomorrow after they went seperated ways.

Although he told Knott not to wait for him, the latter refused to leave his side, telling him he would wait outside even though Kongpob told him that it would take long for him to finish and come out. With a slight shrug, he left with Fawini in the master suit that was prepared for him. As soon as they closed the door behind them, Kongpob didn't even wait to undress, he just fall on her, kissing Fawini wild as if tomorrow didn't exist for him and he should taste her here and now. While kissing widly, even using their tongues to make the kiss deeper, they went to the bed without taking their lips from each other. She unbottened the latter's Shirt while walking to the big bed, Kongpob fall backward on the soft matress, laying comfortable there, the woman sitting over him, his legs between her long, soft legs. She bent over to him, flipping her hairs back, making him crazy with her alluring smile. She helped him to take his Shirt off, tossing it aside.

Hm that's strange. Whenever he was kissing his flirt, his N'Kong would begin to form down there, making him impatient so he needed to release itself. But now it was taking longer than usually. Fawini slided her hand down to his lower part, opening the zipper, sliding the pants a little bit down to his upper legs. While she was working down there on his little brother to make it raise, making it feel good, he covered his eyes with his hand. Somehow he felt pissed off. Pissed off? Why am I feeling irritated instead of good? That's wrong. It should feel good, Kongpob.

Even though he tried to feel the pleasure, only negative feelings overwhelmed him. He was unable to enjoy the intercourse because of those disturbing feelings he couldn't decipher since he never had such feelings before. All the sudden the picture of a person he never expected to remember while being in the mood, appeared in his mind. It was a young man smiling, showing his dimple. The man was none other than his most hateful Arthit Rojnapat. It seemed like he was smiling to Kongpob but the sweet smile wasn't meant for him. The receiver of the smile was the tall man they encountered in the pub, the very man Arthit chatted with till in the night. It was the same man Arthit even helped to get on the cab. What the hell!

He shook his head, trying for delete the ugly picture from his mind and concentrate on getting up but only to his vain. Arthit's smiling face refused to be baned from his mind. To remember Arthit's ugly face in this kind of situation kind of destroyed the mood. He didn't want to do it with Fawina anymore. Beside his N'Kong couldn't get up either. The reason for his lack of interest must be the unsightly smile of the shorter man he hated more than anything. Damn it!

„Get off...", he mumbled at first.

Fawini, concentrated on her work down there, didn't hear the taller man speaking to her, ordering her to let go of him. She was persisent, now sucking harder on N'Kong, feeling desperate about it.

„Get off!", Kongpob screamed, shoving her aside.

She wipped the saliva off her lips, wondering why her amazing skills didn't work on the handsome rich man she already dreamed about to be her boyfriend. According to her, Kongpob would be her boyfriend who would love her genuinely and provide everything for her.

„Let me try again..", she came closer to him, sitting on his laps but Kongpob just shoved her off his body, grabbing at her hand then dragging her out of the master suit. He shut the door in front of her without being considerate to her then brought his cellphone out, dialing his best friend's number. It rang but no one picked up the call. He dialed the number again and again. By the fourth time, Aim finally took the phone. „Fuck Aim, what took you so long?"

Aim seemed to have problem with breathing, he panted, „You... suck... in timing..."

There was a disturbing sound coming on the end of the other line. Someone was moaning. Oh, Aim was in the middle of doing it with his flirt too. Kongpob facepalmed, angry at himself for not realizing sooner that his best friend must be with his flirt, studying every part of her hot body too. Whatever! He decided to tell him the reason for his call.

„Ai'Aim, I have a problem", he sounded really desperate, confused and surprised as if his life didn't make any sense anymore. How should he live anymore if the only thing that gave him joy, didn't work anymore? It was a serious matter for him. Not something to take lightly nor joke about. His life depent on it after all.

„Can't we... talk... later? I'm kind... of busy right now", Aim answered through his many panting. The girl under Aim moaned nonstop, calling his name to go deeper, making Kongpob frustrated and raising his anger.

„Can't you put your damn thing out of her for a moment?!", he screamed so loud that the man in the next master suit could heard him even though the rooms were soundproofed. Kong sighed, trying to calm down before he lost his temper again. His situation was really frustrated enough so he shouldn't be more desperate because of his best friend. He wasn't considerate towards Aim since he only had his problems on mind.

There was a rustling sound on the other end, Aim seemed to descand from her and sit on the bed. He sighed, nodding his head, giving him the okay to state him the reason for him calling him, interrupting his fun.

„...Don't laugh if I tell you about my problem", he seemed reluctant to tell Aim about the uncomfortable issue. He braved himself, taking a deep breath as Aim promised not to laugh nor tell anybody about his problem. „I can't get hard...", there was the problem that was like the end of the world for him. His N'Kong, his only source of fun lost its ability.

„What?", there was a faint giggle at the end of the other line. Aim covered his hand over his mouth to block his laughing fit, wrapping his arm around his stomach but he couldn't hold his laughter back. The giggle turned louder the more and the longer Aim had to laugh.

Kongpob rolled his eyes, already guessing that Ai'Aim was laughing at him. He took another deep breath, forcing himself to rest calm instead of snapping out at his best friend. Because it was a serious matter, he needed the smart brain of Ai'Aim right now.

Aim wipped off the tears streaming down his eyes, „How did it happen?"

„It's because of that damn bastard Arthit. He appeared suddenly in my mind while we were in the middle of the foreplay."

„What?"

„I imagined his face when she tried to make me feel good...", he clenched his hand into fist, cursing at the shorter man for taking his only fun source from him away. Because of the latter, he couldn't feel his lust raising anymore. How should he live under such hard circumstance. Apropos hard! Now he hated the word „hard" since it couldn't get up either.

„Ai'Kong, could it be that you like him? I mean who would imagine the face of his most hateful person while doing it with a hot girl?"

„Are you crazy? Why should I like such an ugly man?", his voice raised, he nearly crushed the cellphone, didn't even think about the money that brought the cellphone a few days ago. He had enough money to buy a new phone so it didn't matter if he threw the expensive cellphone away.

Aim was taken aback that Kongpob failed to realize the tease. Why is he angry as I mentioned about him loving P'Arthit? Why taking it serious and feeling irritated about it if he don't even like him? „It's just a joke. Do you hate him so much that you can't even get up anymore?"

Only now did Kongpob calm down, he sat down on the bed, racking his fingers through his hair. As Aim asked him about what actually happened, he told him the whole story beginning from how Arthit always made him angry, treated strangers like a saint but treated him badly as if he was the devil itself. He couldn't stand it being hated by a nobody, a poor person like Arthit just because he had more wealth than him. Why hate me? I'm such a very handsome man. Every woman's dream man but he hates me. His blood boiled from anger, threatening to burst out just by the though of the reason for Arthit to hate him.

While Kongpob listed Aim about his features like his good look, money and the women he already had in his grasp, Aim just nodded, listening to his blather and nonsense. As he came to the main point about him suddenly remembering the event from before while doing it with the sexy woman he brought in the hotel. To see Arthit smiling genuinely to another man who wasn't as good as him, was the reason that triggered him to lose his libido. He couldn't hold back his anger toward him and couldn't accept the fact that the older man wasn't found of him just like everyone was. Now it aroused Aim's interest, he wanted to see Kongpob frustrated and confused too since he never saw him lose his composure before. Interesting!

„Why don't you change your way of approaching him?"

„Huh? Can you be more specific?"

„You said you hate the fact that he don't like you and choose a stranger over you. He don't like you because he thinks you're a big jerk who only think about himself instead of helping others. A jerk who doesn't value life or know anything about life but just play with woman and money like he wants."

„Are you repeating Arthit's words or using the chance to curse me too?"

Aim smiled, „I'm just interpreting P'Arthit's behaviour", he said with a big grin on his face. Of course, Aim used the chance to tell him the truth about his bad personality that irritated him sometimes too. It would be to his advantage if Kongpob really changed for the better and begin to feel like a human being instead of a hungry beast who was only after woman, sex and showing off his money. „I think the problem lies by you hating the fact that a man who's poor don't recognize you as an awesome person. You're accustomated of being pampered by your surroundings but because he's ignoring you, you're so frustrated that it had a deep impact on your sexual desire."

Kongpob stared hole in the wall, admitting that his smart best friend could have a point. He nodded in acknowledgement, „What should I do now?"

„Try to sweettalk him. Do the opossite and maybe he'll treat you sweetly too."

„No way, I'll do that. He's not a woman but a man. Not even handsome", he declined. No and no! Never will I do that. If I need to sweettalk that bastard for regaining my libido then I prefer to stay sexually frustrated. He trembled when imagining about him talking sweetly to Arthit, flirting with him to win his favourism. Never. He's not even my type. I prefer, the sexy type with long legs and sexappeal. The dangerous kind of woman.

„Then don't do it. Rest like that for the rest of your life", Aim looked down between his legs. His little brother seemed to woke up again from its deep sleep. He needed to take care of it first, it was more urgent than Ai'Kong trivial matter. „Sorry buddy but I have to go now... Take care", he just hung up, didn't even give him the chance to hold him back. He jumped back at the woman who was still nacked on the bed, looking alluring at him, tempting him.

Kongpob threw the new phone on the ground, it shattered into pieces just like his broken heart that was shattered into pieces thanks to the harsh words Arthit said to him. Surely Aim was right. He was accustomated of being pampered by everyone so it was the first time for him that someone didn't like him. It hurted more since the person was a man in the underclass.

He racked his fingers through his hair, heaving a heavy sight. What should he do now? Never ever would he go with Aim's idea and flirt with Arthit like he always did with the women he met in the pub. What an absurd plan!

****

In the next morning Kongpob was still frustrated at the outcome of yesterday's intercourse with his new flirt. No, it wasn't even an intercourse but just the foreplay that he didn't even get to enjoy because of the bastard Arthit who ruined everything for him. He ruffled his hair messy, didn't want to see him again but he could guess that Arthit would make a tantrum if he really didn't show up at work. His bodyguard Knott counted the many times the young master sighed frustrated from their drive to here, it was already the tenth time. Knott knew Kongpob for just a few weeks but it was enough to know that Kongpob wasn't a man with worries and sorrows. He didn't have to worry about his life nor about his future because everything was set up for him since he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He realized too that ever since Kongpob began working here, the young master didn't get to enjoy his carefree life anymore. What could be the cause for his misery? Actually the question shouldn't be what but who could caused his misery?

Kongpob remained in the car, reluctant to leave and enter the hell surrounded by children he wasn't sure how to handle them. When Knott reminded him that he was going to be late, he hissed at the latter for being a party pooper then exited the car and went in the orphanage. As soon as he entered the hell he was supposed to work in for a few weeks, he met the little girl named Maya standing in front of him, hugging her doll while being shy around him. She liked Kongpob because he looked like a handsome idol she saw in the television. She wanted to play with him but she was sure that he wasn't a nice big brother since he called her a big girl who couldn't eat by herself the day before.

The taller man remained before the door, staring at Maya. It looked like Maya and him were competing against each other to see who would win in the staring contest but the truth was, Kongpob was clueless how he should treat her. Aim's advice to change and play the nice man replayed in his head. F***... He didn't want to make everyone think he was born as a friendly man because it wasn't his style at all. But maybe it could help him to gain Arthit's attention. His manhood was on the stake after all. It won't hurt to be nice for once.

His lips twitched, forcing himself to smile. A big smile appeared, showing his complete white teeth but it was obvious that it was a smile forced to make him look more friendly. He waved at her. However he little girl didn't smile back but trembled in fear due to his scary looking smile that reminded her of a clown she hated so much. She stepped back to escape from him but wasn't brave enough to run away, she suddenly urinated in her pants. Her eyes filled with tears. Arthit came to her, noticing Maya standing on a wet ground. When he squatted down in front of her, he finally realized that she urinated in her new pants. Something was odd. Arthit asked himself why she was trembling as if she saw something frightening just now. He looked around only to notice the culprit standing behind him. Kongpob, still trying to smile nicely, scared the hell out of Arthit himself. Now he could guess why Maya was shaking. He hissed at the younger man for scaring the little girl with his frightening smile.

„Wip that smile off your face before you scare the children away", was Arthit's advice to him. He took Maya in his arms, comforted her by telling her that he would put some sugar in her food. He took her in the direction to the bathroom to let his colleague bath her again.

Huh? Kongpob remained flabbergasted, his hand still hanging in the air as if he wanted to greet someone. He didn't know how he should react to the insult. Arthit didn't like him from the beginning but now that he tried to be nice for once, his effort was in vain since the shorter man didn't take it well either. Did I do something wrong? Just why? He almost cursed at Arthit for his bad temper and always accusing him for causing every misfortunes but he shut his mouth and swallowed down his pride as he noticed a female colleague approaching him. She greeted him while smiling at him. The words itched to be left out but he forced himself to not lose his calmless or else he would be presented as the spoiled rich brat again. He wanted to get rid of that nickname for now.

Even though his first attempt to make Arthit praise him failed, he told himself to not give up but to continue. Maybe Arthit would notice his effort someday and change his opinion toward him so he could have his joyful life back. Every beginning is difficult. I need to endure it and keep on fighting.

****

One week already passed but nothing changed between Kongpob and Arthit. Kongpob didn't play with any woman till now because his manhood still didn't work. Arthit and him were still leading a love-hate relationship, avoiding each other. No, it was more like Arthit avoided Kongpob to not contaminate his stupidity in the mornings but he couldn't get rid of him in the night since they would meet occasionaly in the pub he worked at. The older man still hated Kongpob for being a stupid spoiled rich brat and breaking every plates he was supposed to wash in the kitchen.

Kongpob was still making his effort to impress Arthit so the latter would praise him for once. But everything he did and touched, turned out to be bad. Like one week ago he was taught how to wash plates but he let them fall on the ground whenever he touched them. Because he almost broke everything he held in the hand, they gave him another task that didn't have him to work with breakable objects. To not damage more than he did, they told him not to touch anything but just clean the kitchen and two children's room. But whenever they came back to see his progress, the rooms would be dirtier than they were before. How he do that? He swapped spray detergents with spray paints and made a mess out of the walls.

Because the staff was shorthanded today, they asked Kongpob to help them in the kitchen, washing dishes with them. Today he did a good job, didn't even break anything given to him. He was proud of himself for helping instead of giving them more work. The workers even praised him for being helpful for them. Now he wanted to brag so he searched for Arthit to tell him about his successful work but he couldn't enter the bathroom since Arthit was bathing a young boy in the bathtube. He remained behind the entrance, leaning on the wall.

„P'Kong is really funny...", the young boy said.

„You think so? Why?", Arthit asked, was somehow curious to know about the reason.

„Because he's clumsly and dance everytime he had to take the dishes", the child was talking about the many times Kongpob almost broke the plates whenever he had to clean up but some times he had to jungle them to not let them fall on the ground. „...He's really funny... Beside the girls liked him for being handsome", the child grinned, acknowlegding that Kongpob was his idol from now on. He needed to follow his steps so he would be successful with girls too someday.

Kongpob, proud of himself, nodded that the boy was smart for choosing him as his idol to learn from him. But Arthit's following comment dropped the smile from Kongpob's face.

„I think he's just a-good-for-nothing-man I don't need or will ever need in the future. I don't know how I should handle him", Arthit responded to the boy's statement.

A sad expression clouded Kongpob's always cheerful face. Somehow he couldn't take it anymore. He had enough of Arthit insulting him and taking him for a fool. Even if he wasn't perfect like him, it didn't give him the right to accuse him for everything. What did I do to deserve such an unfair treatment?

Even if one tried to change his fate, sometimes some things wasn't just meant to be. He tried to impress Arthit for a week now but it was never enough for Arthit. He wasn't a perfect cleaner nor a perfect houseman but he did his effort to make him like him. It wasn't worth it to change for a poor man if the person who should notice him, still treated him harshly.

After bathing the boy, Arthit wrapped a towel around him whereupon the child ran in the bathroom to wear the cloths choosing for him. As Arthit was about to leave the bathroom, he jumped back in shock when he met Kongpob outside. The taller man had a blank expression, seemed to be in a bad mood.

„I didn't know that you're eavesdropping now", Arthit said, seemed disappointed in Kongpob for hiding behind the door and listening to their conservation.

Actually Kongpob didn't intend to eavesdrop but he didn't care to explain it to Arthit anymore. He just wanted to clear the oddness in the atmosphere between them.

„I'm not good at anything I'm doing but can't you see that I'm giving my best to make it to everyone's expectation?"

„What? You did your best? By breaking everything you touched?", Arthit was surprised, shook his head since he didn't believe that Kongpob even gave five percent of his best. He had the feeling that the younger man wasn't honest in his work but only wanted to spent the time here till he was free again.

„I tried to change myself... Because of you, I smiled at the children, didn't complain much and came punctual in the mornings. What are you not satisfied with? What do you expect from me?", the younger man was agitated, irritated too that his effort wasn't recognized at all.

„Nothing... I never expected you to give your best. Actually I already gave up on you, N'Kongpob. You're a spoiled brat and nothing would ever change about it. Sometimes if you give your best, you'll make it more worse. Just remain the old N'Kongpob who didn't care about anyone. I'll keep avoiding you and you should do the same too", were the older man's last advice to him before walking in a room where the other children gathered to wear the clothes choosing for them.

Arthit just played the strong character in front of the younger man but changed as soon as he entered the room. He stared sadly at the ground, leaning on the wall, peeping out to gaze at Kongpob who still stood there flabbergasted, not moving at all.

„Was I too harsh on him?", Arthit mumbled upon seeing the strong Kongpob speechless.

„Yes you was", a higher voice whispered into his ear, blowing wind into his sensitive ear, making him jump in surprise.

As the older man turned around, he realized the oldest female colleague among his colleagues gazing at him, shaking her head to express her discontent about his unfair treatment towards the new colleague Kongpob. Since she was like a mother figure to him, he wai-ed at her first then fixed his eyes on the ground, waiting for her to speak first.

„Why're you treating him so harsh, Khun'Arthit?"

„I'm not hating on him... It's just that I... I can't like him."

„Why not?", she asked with a big smile on her face, crossing her arms behind her back, waiting for his answer she was curious to know about.

Arthit couldn't explain it to her because the reason for him not liking Kongpob was personal to him. Because of a rich man caused an accident that took his dear husband away from him, he began to hate rich people who didn't take poor people like human but treated them harsh. Kongpob wasn't easy to handle but his wealthy background and his behaviour made him not like him at first. Of course he noticed Kongpob changing a little bit, making an effort to make it to his expectation but he didn't want to get close to him for an important reason. To not end up hating him in the end, it was better to avoid him. Maybe he would get to know something about him that would make him loath him in the end if he get close to him. Why he didn't want to hate Kongpob? Because he wasn't the one who caused his husband's death. He didn't deserve to vent his anger towards rich people on him.

A loud bang echoed in the floor. It was the noise that was made as Kongpob slammed his fist on the wall. He injured his hand but he didn't feel any pain anyway. The pain in his heart was more painful, causing his heart to beat faster and harder. Damn it! Arthit isn't worh my effort. So you give up on me? I'll give up on you too.

He clenched his hands into fist, bit his mouth bloody then walked in the opposite direction. Today was the last day that he was nice to Arthit. Because the shorter man adviced him not to give his best anymore, he wouldn't help him ever again. He should just be the old Kongpob till the weeks he was supposed to work here, would pass away.

****

The staff of the orphanage was allowed to knock off earlier today, Kongpob called for Knott to pick him up. After taking his bag in the locker, Arthit stepped out of the orphanage, rolling his eyes as soon as he spotted Kongpob waiting for his driver outside. He took the direction to the bus station. Kongpob just waited for 2 minutes for Knott but he couldn't take it anymore. Since he didn't want to wait in the darkness anymore, he followed Arthit in the direction. The shorter man sensed someone following him, looking behind him only to notice Kongpob being behind him. It felt strange to have him sticked to him like a gum on his shoe but he couldn't say anything anyway.

„Stop following me...", Arthit uttered gently to him, wishing the younger man would take another direction instead of walking after him. He didn't like to be followed behind because it felt like being stalked.

„I'm not chasing after you but walking forwards to meet my driver... Beside the road is free for everyone to walk on it", Kongpob clashed back, didn't care about Arthit's hating it to have him behind him or not.

Arthit felt dizzy all the sudden due to the strong headache. Kongpob threw a glance at him, wanting to know the cause for him walking awkwardly in the middle of the night. Is he tired? I wouldn't be surprise if he worked himself to death. Working with children in the orphanage then working in a pub in the night weren't easy tasks to do. Do he get enough sleep at home? Kongpob caught himself worrying about Arthit, his sworn enemy he just promised himself not to care about anymore. He shook his head, deleting Arthit's picture in his mind.

Kongpob waited aside for Knott to arrive. The older man rubbed against his temple, trying to get rid of the headache. Because of him not concentrating on the street, he crossed the street without making sure if the road was clear or not. What is that idiot doing there? Kongpob was worried about his condition, asking himself how could he cross the street without making sure if the road was clear.

There was a car driving fast towards him. The driver wasn't concentrated on the road either since she was busy talking on the phone with somebody. Kongpob called to Arthit, warning him about the coming car. Arthit remained in the middle of the street, hitting on his forehead to ease the pain. The taller man realized the car was just a few meters away from him, he hated Arthit but he didn't want him to get hurt. He ran to help him, yanking him away from the street before the car get to them, both falling to the ground. Kongpob laid on his back on the ground, Arthit laying above him, the taller man's strong arms wrapping around the shorter man. Arthit, still feeling dizzy and tired, had his head leaned on the man's chest. He was too confused to realize the situation he brought himself in, his body was too weak to be lifted up.

Thuthump, Thutump, Thutump, it was the soft sound that echoed in his ear. Because he was too confused, he didn't noticed yet that he laid on Kongpob and it was the latter's heartbeating he was listening to. That sound... Tha soft, sweet sound that always calmed him down... He knew it too well. Never would he forget the sweet heartbeat because he heard it everyday. It was the same sound his husband's heart did wherever he listened to his heart. This nostalgic feeling he only felt when his man was around, raising his temperature, letting chill running down his spine. But wait! Didn't my husband die? How come I'm hearing his heartbeat?

Arthit slowly opened his eyes, finally realizing that he was laying on a man's firm body. He lifted up his head, feeling his own heart pounding hard the closer he got to know the person who was holding him in his arms. The stranger turned out to be Kongpob Suthiluck. His eyes widened in surprise, he didn't expect Kongpob to save him from another car accident. Due to the shock he pushed him away from him, stepping back to widen the distance between them.

„What the hell is wrong with you? Is this how you thank the man who saved your life?", Kongpob hissed at him, rubbing against the back of his head that hurted since he hit it earlier on the ground.

Arthit opened his mouth many times to say something, maybe expressing his gratitude for saving him but the words refused to be let out. He just mumbled an apology that the younger man failed to heard. In the meantime spectators gathered around them, asking each other how the accident happened instead of helping the victims. The female driver who almost caused the accident came to them, apologizing many times for not noticing Arthit sooner.

„Next time be careful and don't wander around like a sleepwalker. You don't own the street, damn it...", Kongpob couldn't hold back from reprimanding the older man's behaviour.

Arthit was still in shock, couldn't reply back like usually. He was in shock due to Kongpob's heartbeat he listened to a while ago, it really reminded him of his dead husband he missed so much. But Kongpob insulting him for being blind and careless opened his eyes that Kong wasn't gentle like his beloved husband. The taller man only cared about himself, would never treat him with so much care like his husband always did. Really he missed him.

Kong crossed the street back to the other side. Knott who just witnessed the end of accident, walked over to him, mustering him from head to toes, asking him if he was unscathed or not. Since he knew his mother too well, he ordered his bodyguard not to tell his mother about the little accident. Beside he wasn't hurt anyway but just felt a little pain on his head. Although Arthit just declined that Kongpob wasn't just like his dead husband, he couldn't take his eyes from him. He looked to him till the younger man entered the car and drove away, distancing himself from him.

However Kongpob couldn't forget the situation from a moment ago. His heart felt restless, thumping hard for an unknown reason. He couldn't forget how Arthit laid on him, he could feel his body, every of his muscles touching his body, making him be more aware of the shorter man's presence. His bodyheat raised, he felt warm all the sudden. He touched on his chest, the same place Arthit had his head leaned at. The way Arthit slowly lifted up his head while laying on him, looking him deep in the eyes... His round eyes, his soft lips mumbling a word to him. Precious. An unforgetable moment! His lips slowly curved up, showing a little smile that showed how happy he was for having Arthit closer to him.

Arthit entered his small apartment he spent many years with his husband, walking through the pitch-black living room, bumping onto the table since he didn't switched on the light but went straight in his bedroom. He turned off the light hanging on the ceiling of his bedroom, closing the door behind, leaning against it then sliding down to sit down with bending up legs on the ground. His emotionsless eyes stares into an empty space, he brought out his mobilphone, gazing at the background picture. It was the image of his husband holding the doll of Stitch from the animation Lilo and Stitch. It was one of the many picture of his husband he couldn't delete even though almost 2 years passed after his death.

He went with a finger over the picture showing on his screen of his phone, mumbling the latter's name, telling him that he met someone who's heartbeating was just like his. After telling him the story about Kongpob, he smiled while letting him know that Kongpob wasn't gentle like him but just stubborn and selfish.

His voice softly called his name, „Nai... I'm so lonely without you by my side... I miss you..."

What do you think of this update? After reading the comments from the previous chapter I noticed that only one reader realized who Arthit's customer was. Yeah it's Mew from... (I won't say it since everyone know him but wasn't it obvious since his story matched the other series) :D And did anyone find out about Arthit's hot husband now? I'm curious if someone recognized his picture even though I'm sad that I had to use him as Arthit's dead husband ;) (It's not so difficult to guess)
