[XII]

Jimin began to get suspicious when Taehyung was gone longer than 10 minutes, he wanted to walk the younger home this night which is why he began to get impatient.

"Oh hello Park Jimin, what are you still doing here so late?"

The said male whipped his head around to face the Kings who had an eyebrow raised in his direction making his heart beat accelerate. "Oh I'm sorry your Majesty, I was just waiting to walk Taehyung home."

"No problem with that." The man smiled. "Although, you are aware of our policy am I correct?"

Jimin had a talent when it came to changing his whole personality up when faced in front of the King and Queen, mainly so he wouldn't lose his job.

"Which one your Majesty? There must be so many." The worker smiled causing the King to let out a chuckle. "No worries. I am talking about the 'No relationships with co-workers' policy." The man told. If Jimin wasn't so good at acting he would've punched the King by now.

"Oh yes, I am well aware." The latter forced out a smile.

"Very good, I am just making sure. You're a very well mannered boy so I wasn't doubting it, have a wonderful day."

"You too your Majesty."

Once the King had finally left the Kitchen, Jimin let out a long sigh and rolled his eyes. "Policy my fucking ass." The male spoke annoyed, trying to stop himself from punching something.

"What policy?" A familiar voice asked behind Jimin who quickly turned around at the sound, eyes and face softening up once he saw Taehyung standing in the doorway with a smile on his face and an object in his hands.

"Oh nothing, I was just blabbing stuff. What's that?" The older pointed towards the object in the youngers hands which looked to be some sort of device. He also took into note the blush that formed across Taehyung's face when he mentioned it.

"It's called a Nintendo Switch! Jungkook taught me how to play it."

Jimin again wanted to gag at the name. "He did? He didn't smack you or anything?" The said male questioned. "No, he did yell at me though when I couldn't figure it out. But he gave it to me afterwards so that makes up for that."

The older only nodded as he picked up his jacket from the counter, not saying a word as he and Taehyung began walking towards the doors.

"And then he let me play the thing where you hit the balls with a stick and try to make it into the hole, I forgot the nam-"

"Pool?"

"Yes!" Taehyung exclaimed in response. Jimin was barely listening because he did not care for what Jungkook and Taehyung did together whatsoever. "And while I was doing that he was playing a game called watch over or something like tha-"

"Overwatch?"

"Yes! Jimin you're a genius."

The said male chuckled to himself as they both approached the doors. Jimin was about to open the doors until he looked out of one of the windows and saw rain pouring down harshly onto the ground. "Fuck" he mumbled to himself, remembering that he didn't bring an umbrella.

"What's wrong?" The younger innocently asked. "It's raining." Jimin replied before searching his backpack to see if there was an umbrella somewhere in there even though he knew there wasn't.

"I don't have an umbrella.." Taehyung mumbled. The last thing he wanted to do was walk home in the pouring rain since where he lived was quite far away. "Me neither."

The two males both stood in silence for a few. They're options were to either just walk home in the cold pouring rain with risk of getting a cold or steal an umbrella from somewhere in the castle. Or there was option three.

"You two have been standing there for a while."

The said two turned around to face Jungkook who was leaning against the wall, staring at Taehyung only and not even acknowledging Jimin's presence. "Prince and a stalker? Wow that'll make the kingdom fall head over heals for you."

The Prince rolled his eyes, ignoring the elders statement shortly after and turning his gaze back to Taehyung.

"It's raining and we don't have u-umbrellas.."  The latter stuttered. He was now more comfortable with the younger but he still feared of being judged.

"Just walk. Rain doesn't bite."

Taehyung nervously began playing with the bottom hem of his shirt. He really really didn't want to walk all the way back home in the rain, it was at the most ten degrees outside and the rain made it even worse.

"Here Tae, I'll let you wear my hoodie." Jimin stated as he set his backpack down and began digging for his hoodie. The Prince furrowed his eyebrows at the words, not liking that idea very much as he ran down the hallway and quickly back with an umbrella in his hands.

"I have an umbrella."

"Taehyung doesn't want your umbrella, he wants to walk with me. Right Tae?" Jimin exclaimed with a hoping smile, but that smile began fading away once the younger didn't reply.

Jungkook didn't really know what he was doing, but none the less the said male began walking up to the door and opening it. He stepped outside the castle with the umbrella over his head and motioned for Taehyung to step outside as well.

The black haired male did want to walk with Jimin, but wanted to walk with the Prince more since they just became 'friends' and he didn't want to upset him again.

"I'm sorry Jimin, next time I promise." Taehyung said with a smile, stepping outside and under Jungkook's umbrella who was now smirking in Jimin's direction. Before Jimin could reply, Jungkook placed his hand on the doors and pushed them shut right in the said males face.

"Wow that was nice." Jimin commented to himself, walking over to pick up his backpack and deciding to head out the back way.

"Where do you live?" Jungkook questioned Taehyung who was shaking under the umbrella because of the weather. "Over there." The said male pointed to somewhere off in the distance. "But we have to stop by somewhere first."

The Prince nodded as him and the older began walking down the rain filled road, the object above them making sure neither of them got wet. Jungkook didn't know why he was doing this really, but he thought if this boy was going to be his friend he didn't want to ruin it like always even if he was always in a bad mood.

-

"Where are we?" Jungkook questioned once the two were standing in front of a building that looked to be many years old.

"Church, I'll be quick. You can stay out here if you want.."

"It's cold." The Prince bluntly responded as he tucked the umbrella away and started entering the building along with the black haired.

Jungkook confusingly followed Taehyung who was walking down the rows, eventually ending up in front of one of the seats. The Prince had never been to Church before so he had no clue what to do or where to go, so he just followed the older as the two sat down next to each other.

Jungkook also observed that Taehyung closed his eyes, but he thought that was weird so he decided to keep his eyes open.

"Hi Mom and Dad, I'm sorry that I'm a bit late tonight."

The youngers eyes greatly widened up, staring at the black haired males side profile as he kept his eyes closed with a smile on his face. No way.. the Prince thought to himself.

"Tonight I brought Prince Jungkook here with me.. he is walking me home tonight because it's raining. I wish you could meet him, he's very nice."

I'm not  the said male thought to himself again. He was still trying to process what he was hearing.

"I don't want to make him wait for much longer so I'm going to go now, but I'll talk to you again tomorrow. Goodnight, I love you."

A few seconds later, Taehyung opened his eyes and turned his attention to Jungkook with a wide smile on his face. The Prince could only look at the older with hurt and emotion in his eyes. He thought his Grandparents being gone hurt, but it gave him a whole new perspective when he looked at the person in front of him knowing both of his parents were gone.

It also made him only regret even more the things he's done and said to him.

 "All done!"
