The feeling Taehyung used to get when walking to Prince Jungkook's room compared to now was completely different. When Namjoon told him Jungkook wanted to speak to him it scared him, but now there was a faint rose tint on his cheeks and an excited lip smile on his mouth as he speed walked to the room.

Once there the black haired male patted down his outfit to make sure it looked neat which once again was Jungkook's clothes. 

After knocking  the force of Taehyung's knuckles caused the door to move having him come to a realization that the door was unlocked. Slowly but surely the Sous Chef entered the fancy room, smiling once he saw the younger aggressively combing his hair.

"Kook?"

"Ah!" The said male exclaimed, dropping the comb that was in his hands. "Jesus, you could've knocked." He groaned before turning around to face Taehyung who had a conflicted expression on his face. The Prince's facial features calmed down once he realized it was the older.

 "Sorry.. I thought you were Namjoon." The younger chuckled before picking his comb back up and nervously placing it onto his counter.

Taehyung only laughed in response before bringing up something else. "Why were you brushing your hair so aggressively?" Jungkook didn't exactly know how to respond to that. I mean what could he possibly say? I didn't want to look like a mess before you walked into my room because I look like a rat compared to you.  As if.

"Hey look it's Pete!" Taehyung suddenly exclaimed, forgetting he even asked a question before running over to the windowsill. He cutely waved his hand at the bird who poked his beak on the window in response.

"Oh come on." Jungkook mumbled to himself over the fact that Pete ruined every moment they had now. Although he couldn't hold himself back from smiling and giggling on how cute the scene was, the older trying to communicate with the bird with hand gestures and facial expressions.

"He's so cute.."

"What?" Taehyung suddenly questioned once he heard the said male speak, not knowing that the Prince accidentally thought out loud. "Huh?" He responded acting dumb.

"Did you say Pete was cute?" The black haired male dumbfoundedly questioned. 

"Yes, that's what I meant." 

Of course it's not what he meant but he thought it'd be better to roll with that than literally tell Taehyung straight to his face that he was cute.

"Pete I have some gossip.." The older male whispered to the bird. "Prince Jeon Jungkook just told me he thinks you're cute."

"Hey don't out me like that." The Prince exclaimed while trying to hold back his laughter. He really did not like this dove but he found the way Taehyung communicated with him adorable. 

"I have some good news!" The older of the two announced while standing up from his knees. 

"I think you're cute too!"

Taehyung watched as the Prince's whole face burned and froze at the same time, it was almost like he could hear his rapid heartbeat before realizing the huge mistake he just made. The Sous Chef's heart sped up once he noticed what he just said.

"I uh, I meant Pete thinks you're cute.."

Jungkook completely ignored the elders last sentence before stepping in a little closer to him. "What'd you say before that?" He teased, hoping the older couldn't hear his heart beating.

"N-nothing.." Taehyung stuttered as his face turned red, nervously biting his lip and looking down towards his feet.

"Mmm I don't know if I believe that." The Prince began slowly stepping closer to the elder who looked like he was about to explode out of embarrassment, only receiving silence. "Is anybody home?" Jungkook asked as he began softly knocking on Taehyung's head with a huge dorky smile on his face.

"No." The black haired shyly said while kicking the side of his foot with his toes.

"What a shame. Well when he comes home can you let him know that I think he's cute as well? Thanks."

 Taehyung slowly began lifting his head back up to face Jungkook's who was closer than he's ever been to him before. The older has never seen the Prince this close before and honestly it made even more butterflies come into his stomach, along with the fact that they just called each other cute.

Without even noticing it both of the males heads began leaning in closer towards each others, neither of them even realized what they were doing but it felt nice to be closer. And just as the two's noses touched the door swung open causing them to quickly separate

Jungkook, Taehyung, and Pete all seemed to be having a staring contest now with Namjoon who was standing in the doorway with a surprised look on his face. They all awkwardly stayed silent for another minute before the butler cleared his throat.

"Jimin is looking for Taehyung."

The mention of Jimin immediately caused the said male to become uncomfortable. And it only made Jungkook angry and made him realize he didn't talk to his dad about him yet.

"No he isn't." The Prince stated before turning to face Taehyung. "I need to go convince my dad to get him fired, stay in here with the door closed and don't let him go anywhere near you until I come back. Okay?"

The older nodded before the Prince turned and headed out the door along with Namjoon, Jungkook making sure to lock the door behind him. 

The only two that were left in the room were Taehyung and his little friend Pete who hasn't left the windowsill. The black haired male kneeled back onto his knees and faced Pete again.

"Are you good at keeping secrets?" 

The dove pecked it's beak on the window in response causing Taehyung to smile. "Can I tell you one?"

Pete pecked his beak again.

The black haired male rolled up the window and carefully picked up the dove into his hands. He found it so strange that it never flew away besides when he left to go somewhere. But none the less Taehyung smiled at the dove and cupped his free hand against his mouth.

"I think I like Jungkook."

"Dad." The Prince announced as he walked into one of the living rooms, the man closing the book he was reading once he heard his son enter the room. The King frowned once he saw Jungkook's etiquette. 

"Son you are eventually going to be crowned King one day and your manners are lacking more and more everyday." (stream More & More by twice <3)

"Sorry Father.." Jungkook mumbled before bowing. 

"What did you want to talk to me about?"

"Well actually there are two things." The Prince began which grabbed his fathers attention. "First off I believe Kim Taehyung deserves a pay raise."

The King nodded his head in agreement. "I agree with that. That boy is very respectful and may I say he makes the finest of meals, especially his Filet mignon." The man began drifting into a haze thinking about how delicious Taehyung's meals were.

"His rent right now is 9,000,000 won and he is not financially stable enough to pay for it even with the amount he is receiving. I think he deserves double the amount he is getting."

"I will definitely take that into consideration." The man told which was basically already agreeing. "You've never cared about things like this before with anyone, it's quite shocking I must say."

Jungkook didn't respond since he had nothing else to say besides his second topic of interest.

"What is the other subject?"

The Prince sucked up all of the courage he had since he knew his father wouldn't believe him right away, Jimin was so two-faced when it came to royalty so he didn't know how he'd get him to believe what he did.

"Jimin needs to go." Jungkook stated causing his father to raise an eyebrow.

"Why do you say that?" The man asked.

"The other day Taehyung, Jimin, and I went out to the woods to do some archery and while I was somewhere else Jimin tried to do very inappropriate things with Taehyung and-"

"Jungkook." The King cut off making his son annoyed since he didn't get to finish what he was saying. "I know you and Jimin are in a feud but it is not okay to make up these lies to try to get him in fired."

"You think I'm lying?" The Prince questioned with a shocked expression. Yes he wasn't fond of Jimin in any situation but he would never lie about something as serious as this to get his way. 

"I will talk to both Jimin and Taehyung about it soon, but for now Jimin will still be working here until I figure out what really happened."

"But-"

"Enough." The King stated, concluding the conversation as he opened back up his book and continued reading. Jungkook was so mad his father didn't believe him, and he didn't want him to talk to Taehyung about it because that would definitely make him uncomfortable.

But there was nothing Jungkook could say because when his dad said "enough" he meant enough and that was final. So the Prince began slumping back down the hallways, not even noticing Jimin's presence or the fact that he had just came out of his room.
