I Am Made Of Flaws

In me, there's no perfection

And I know for sure the same is true of you, as there's no doubt we are

Made of Flaws

My mind has been guilty of pride, and

At this time of life, see no reason to hide behind a façade, for I

Don't think it's worth a damn where I'm going, so

Every moment will be spent with compassion, for

Only a fool would believe would not understand that

Flaws are gems of wisdom

***

From which one should learn, to

Look forward with humility, while taking the time to share

All your experiences, and see no reason to

Wait until they are spoken at your wake

Surely now is the time, so you are here to share in the laughter 😂

Thisis just a random acrostic that came into my head when drafting my submissionsfor Prompt 7 Ballad Stanzas', whilst pondering the subject of human flaws. I was looking for a song that related to the poem when I came across the pod cast above and felt it was a good fit and worth a listen if  you have insecurities, which let's be honest most of us do.
