I've just written this and entered it in the Poets Pub May (WK2) contest, and liked so much I thought I'd add it to my Compendium of Acrostic Poetry.

I believe I may have exceeded the criteria as I've added an additional acrostic element by using the letters of the titles first word as the first letter of the first and last words of each sentence.

This has created a refection of the word 'Pursuit'.

I also think it's exposed my political bias, just a little bit strongly, but then you have to stand up for your convictions or they are worthless.

Pursuit Target

Pursuit of profit is their target.

Uncompromisingly, they ruthlessly sack the weak and defenceless, indiscriminately.

Rewards for the endless years of sacrifice are repeatedly attacked, and human rights are surreptitiously undermined.

(Social) Security falls away - Away falls Security (Social).

Undermined by a minority, populated by soulless human beings seeking reward.

Indiscriminate bureaucracy has left their victims burdened by a lack of support and sanctuary, yet their short-term profit, remains uncompromised.

Target low, for easy pickings is what they do, let's hope their turn will come, and that the Devil's in pursuit.
