It is 1933 and Rosalie has been turned. We are arguing.

"Why would you turn her?" Edward demands.

"She was dying, Edward!" Carlisle says.

"So you could let her die!" He roars.

"She is destined to be part of our coven, Edward!" I yell. "Whether you like it or not!"

I hear a clatter. Then Rosalie comes down the stairs.

Edward sneers as he sees her. I know he is reading her thoughts.

"I am done!" I snap angrily. "I do not care anymore. You keep fighting—I would not have turned you unless your mother had asked me to save you, Edward. You come to your senses then I might talk to you."

I turn and stomp from the house. Rosalie follows.

"I want to kill him and his stupid friends," Rosalie snarls.

I smirk. "Who? Royce? Then let me help."

Her red eyes sparkle. I think of Alec instantly, but then I push the thought from my head.

"Would Dr. Cullen get mad if I kill them?"

"Carlisle wouldn't bother. He will help, most likely. No, that is a lie. Esme would love to help, though. They hurt you and you are one of her children now."

Rosalie smiles nervously. "I'm sorry I was so awful to you."

I shake my head. "It is fine. You were afraid. But I hate to be the one to tell that you can't see Vera again."

Her face falls. "W-what? No..."

I hug her gently. "You'll be okay. I know it's awful but you still have me, right?"

She nods. I can see her dead heart breaking.

Rosalie comes home in a blood covered wedding dress.

"He's dead?" I ask.

She nods.

I nod, then shoo her towards the bathroom. I sigh and slump into the couch. I am tired. Edward is sitting at the piano, getting frustrated as he attempts to write a song. I decide against my better judgment that I will take out my flute. I start playing, urging Edward to play along. I just play the notes that seem right.

I stop playing because I need to feed. I go to the fridge where we have bags of animal blood.

I to the fireplace and close my eyes. I need to meditate. The past few days have been too busy.

Wrote myself into a corner but I like this.
