I came across this book while it wasn't completed. The anticipation for each chapter as I waited for the story unfold was totally worth it. "Treat you better" written by scribblergirl is one of my most favorite book on wattpad. I have read it two times and it always feels new despite the fact that you know the story line.

It is a story about a women who gets a raped and a cop who helps her get to the hospital. The male protagonist of the story, Raghu is a dutiful cop and a heart broken one. Radhika, the victim of rape resembles his ex girlfriend. Circumstances tie them together in holy matrimony. Does he loathe her? Can he fight the inevitable attraction? Add some goons and mystery to the story and there you go a perfect token of unconventional love story.

Radhika is an extremely strong woman and despite her life being a path of thorns, her strength and self respect does not falter. Don't we all love such brave women? This story is a must read if you are a fan of unconventional love stories, strong women characters, flawed but powerful male character and triumph of human will.

It is written mostly in a third person point of view which is the major reason I love revisiting this book over and over again. The author's crisp narrative is engaging and extremely novel. It does touch the right emotional chord despite less drama. I wish the author will write more stories for she has a unique perspective on very ordinary things.

So this book remains one of my all time go to story. If you are looking for a quick read which is extremely appetizing this is the one you are looking for. I was initially attracted to the cover of the story. It is indeed a mysterious picture of a delicate Indian girl. A perfect defining picture of this work.
