"okay! okay! may everyone calm down and quiet down!" the headmaster shrieked out to the mic, sending waves of his high pitch voice throughout the whole school. The music volume slowly fades away along with the crowd mumbling sounds. The whole school attention was stuck onto the headmaster. They all knew what was about to happen.

"ladies, gentleman, respected teachers and fellow students... the final event that has long been anticipated by all is finally here, the best costume award." the headmaster started off his speech as a loud round of applause was given by the audience. "first off, we'll start with the teacher's award"

"the best costume award for teacher category goes to..." the headmaster trailed off, creating suspense to both students and especially teachers. "Mr. Jeon! with his cowboy cosplay!" the crowd goes wild as a loud applause was given alongside with the students cheering out his name. Mr. Jeon on the other side was thrilled as he jumped up in excitement, giving off the basic cowboy 'hyaaa' sound. It was a classic cowboy woody costume, nobody even expected to see the unexpected sight of the bold Mr. Jeon.  

"but i personally loved Miss Hwa's cheer up costume though" hyemin mumbled out to beomgyu as they both glance towards Miss Hwa, who cheered happily for Mr. Lee award. "she looks like one of us when she wears the costume" hyemin added.

Beomgyu points out with his magic wand,"i think Mr. Jeong should win though, she's wearing the exact same clothes as she wore in the morning" beomgyu commented as they both burst into laugh. Hyemin was fascinated by the fact that she just knew of.

"now, the moment you all have been waiting for~" the headmaster mentioned as a drumroll appeared by the speakers. Everyone had their fingers crossed. " the best costume award for this year.... goes too~" he does it again. "Kim Youngmin! with his thanos cosplay!" Everyone could agree on how realistic his cosplay was, from the face make up to his infinity stone gloves.

"it's too bad you didn't get the award" beomgyu whispered to hyemin as he leaned closer despite the loud clapping and background music. "as if i wanted that award.." hyemind scoffed with the 'duh' tone, everyone had desires for the award but she didn't cared much of it anyway. Beomgyu was taken aback, "i think your costume deserves an award though, it looks gorgeous on you" he responded with a compliment.

Hyemin was surprised by his sudden statement, "reolly?!" she snorted.

"speaking of which..." she started, getting beomgyu's attention. "have you seen my heels? it's getting kinda late, i should head home" the both exchanged long contact with each other, waiting for a respond.

beomgyu broke the eye contact first as he shakes his head in denial. "didn't you open them as we exited the ghost house?" he recalled back the scene where he was glued to her despite being scared of the ghost house eventhough they have exited the house. He rubs his back nape, embarrassed for being the reason to lose her shoes. "i'll help you look for them"

the both of them divided parts each to make things easier and faster, they went back to all the places that hyemin went before in hopes to find the missing shoes. It was a total scavenger hunt, they looked at every hooked and crooked.

for hyemin, it has been the second round already on her side yet she the heels were still unfound. Beomgyu hadn't give out any text to her, it seems as he has failed too. Hyemin was devastated, she felt terrible as she let out a groan before laying her lap on the empty seat. In front of her sight was the dance area and she felt completely lost as everyone had their best smiles on. everyone seems to be having a good time... except me.

she cupped both of her cheeks as she continues to give out a long stare to the others dancing happily.

as the disco ball changed lights and a familiar figure appeared between the ray of lights, just like a personal spotlight shun above them. It was beomgyu and he was walking slowly towards hyemin, he wore a bright grin as a familiar heels were dangling by his grasp. Her face lit bright once again as she noticed the heels.

"are you looking for this, miss?" Beomgyu sarcastically asked in a formal way before giving out a small chuckle. He then went down on his knees slowly and raised his head, meeting eye to eye with hyemin's. His facial went serious this time. "may i?" he softly squeaks as he took grasp of hyemin's foot. She was startled by the sudden action of him. He helped her wore her shoes slowly and cautiously. 

"done." he softly spoke out before standing back on his feet.

"where-" hyemin wanted to ask where he could find the missing shoes whilst trying to get up from her seat but his sudden grip made her halt her words, he then slowly pushed her back down on her seat. Hyemin was in confusion. "stay still" he told as he lossen his grip on both of her shoulder and took three step backwards whilst his front was still facing her.

Hyemin notice as one of his hands were hid behind his back. Then suddenly, a sketch book came out from behind in his hand. He stayed quiet and flipped the book to the first page. There were letter written on it, she reads them aloud...

' hyemin-ah '

he then continues to flipped through the pages with short notes writen

' Ever since you came into
my life, my life has a new
meaning to everything '

' I believe dreams do come
true, because mine did
when I met you '

' They say this kind of love
is once in a lifetime, I know you
are the one for me, I have given
you all my today and always.
Thanks for showing me how
its feels to be loved. '

until I met you, I was able to
laugh uncontrollable laughter. '

its like I have not seen anyone yet,
but whenever you laugh with
me it set my heart on fire. '

' I will never ask you to

when i heard other people

beomgyu closed the sketch book with the final words being read by hyemin in stutters. He approached the shock hyemin as he leans in closer towards her, "hyemin-ah, please accept my love..." he softly whispered with his eyes deeply meets with her, leaning even closer as he first plants his soft lips against hers.

It was both their first kisses yet tonight it only seems like a peck given from beomgyu despite worrying if he would lose control and did it without the consent of the other person. Beomgyu pulled away with his eyes lowered onto the floors. "i'm sorry"

hyemin noticed the long face of beomgyu's when he pulled away. She then took grasp of both beomgyu's sides, "no, don't be... cause i like you too"

they both shared a long and deep contact before this time, hyemin leans in towards beomgyu and landed her lips onto his, they both exchanged a deep liplock before pulling away with blushing faces. Hyemin felt her face burn in hotness as she cups her face, blushing. 

beomgyu broke the blushing moment as he held out his hand, "let me take you home, my dear" they both exchanged smiles as hyemin took grasp of his hand, letting him taking lead this time to guide her back home with a new kind of love she can anticipate more in the future.
