i love being an actress

because, sometimes in a role

the character has a spot for me

there's a little hole

where i can slip in some of myself

the person i am, me

i can cry on a sad line

get mad on another

though it's rarely for the line

usually for real life

i love that i can be all of myself

different parts, different beings too

and the best part is that because i'm 'acting'

no one believes it's true.
