I am a shadow

of the person

I used to be,

Just an image,

Who  disappeared in the dark,

And now, I am lost

In futile attempts to keep up

Distraught with holes from the past

That just don't fill up,

Dark and empty

As if I am  hollow

All I can do is watch

how everyone moves on,

While I am still stuck

In the same old place

For what seems to be an eternity
