The differences we harbor

The distance between our worlds

Making our future together seem darker

Falling for each other throws us in a whirl

What if we aren't meant to be ?

The fairytale ending seems far away

Break the bonds capturing us and flee

And see the light illuminating the day

Can it all be just an illusion?

Short -lived happiness

Complete with never-ending delusions

Pushing the doubts to the cloud of darkness

No matter the ordeals , we'll stay

Beaming the challenges with rays of light

Making sure never to stray

From the path we pave

After all , the bridge is yet to be built

Until then , we shall remain worlds apart
