He also has an extension for his jewel cutting shop, here you can get your ores cut into jewels to gift, and sometimes he can even make rings, such as the glowing rings and others that you usually can only find in the mines as drops or in chests. Though it is quite a bit of money he charges for this. Clint is more of the tool guy, but if you want tools you can get some awfully expensive ones here to (usually made out of gems) . But you'd have to be pretty rich for that and it would take a couple days to a week to make them.

Shop is open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, hes not always in there so its good to go talk to him or find him. Usally you can interact with him on the streets and it has an option to ask for some help with your ores or gems and usally it will cut scene to his house so then he can help you.

Other:

During winter an... odd side of him comes out. He will usually wear a hat of some sort ALL the time through the winter, even in his house. No one knows why, but if you manage to catch him you might be able to find out one of his secrets. He often also gazes at the stars at night, he is usually asleep by 1:00 am.

If you startle him he will actually let out a shriek, which can be embarrassing and will usually down your relationship status if you dont know him very well. This can be worse in the winter due to his ears are sensitive even under the hat.

He dislikes water, and cats.

Backstory: (Okay this probably sounds ridiculous but I have no other way to make this work so please work with me on this, also he dosent really have any powers, just ears)

This all started with his grandfather on his fathers side during the winter. The wizard was a fairly nice man, but being stuck in the tower and only visited by Caroline once and awhile... he was pretty lonely. And of course Caroline left with Abigail. Due to such a loss he decided he didn't want to be alone anymore. So he set out to the woods to find something. An animal. He had been wandering for some time, and quite awhile away from his home when he found a wolf pup, shivering. Having pity for the poor animal he took it home, but then an impossible idea struck him. What if he could make this pup into a human? Raise it like a son? It seemed weird and such a disgusting thing to do, but he hated the loneliness of the tower. So he tried it, having to test the potion many times, hoping to get it just perfect, it still seemed impossible, but he kept at it. Eventually time passed, by now the little white pup was a month old. But he had finished, the wizard mixed the potion into the water he had been feeding the pup, hoping so badly that it would work. At first he thought he had failed or killed the pup as it had fell over on its side so he ran over to it. But slowly he watched as his potion had worked, "I have a son!" he yelled happily.

From then on his father was raised as a human, his ears only coming out in the winter. And as the story goes he had grown up and left to explore, soon finding a wife which soon became Asters mother. Shortly after Aster grew up his parents seemed to disappear. But due to weird means...  he was drawn back to the place his father grew up in due to a letter from his mothers father before he died.

Also of course one of his grandfathers was there still, hes a damn wizard.
