『𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣』 - Flip The Script

Chattering was all Katie could hear in the Cobra Kai Dojo. Many of her school classmates were watching Miguel's fight in the cafeteria on their phones. It gave hope to the kids who didn't dare to stand up for themselves. With Miguel showing his karate skills led the small Dojo being packed with so many kids, wanting to learn how to fight.

Katie spots Miguel, Mia, and Aisha practicing on the sidelines while she's in the middle of the mat, with Eli and Demetri. " Why did I let you talk me into this, this goes against everything I stand for," Demetri tells Eli while holding his phone, replaying the same video everyone else is watching. " It's like extra gym class for no reason"

" Let's just give it a chance," Eli said, " You saw the fight, Miguel kicked ass"

Katie nodded at Eli's words, " Both of you will do great okay? Just try it Demetri before doubting yourself" She tells him with hope in her eyes. Her pale friend lets out a sigh before agreeing with her. " Okay I'll try," He says softly, but still having doubts lingering in his voice.

" Quite!" Johnny's voice booms over the room, making his potential students immediately aware of his presence. " Face front" He tells them and that was Katie's cue to leave the mat, but not before giving her friends a thumbs up. She walks over to the corner of the wall and makes herself situated.

Silence is loud and unpleasant in the room as Johnny walks past each person, looking at them with judging eyes. " Nice shirt" He says walking around Demetri, " Thanks" Demetri smiles looking down at his shirt.

"I'm joking, it sucks," The blonde tells him and throws more insults at the other kids, making them feel small and embarrassed. " When I look around, I don't see Cobra Kai material" He states. " I see losers, I see nerds, I see a fat kid with a funny hat with his tits popping out."

Katie presses her lips into a thin line and shakes her head, still not used to Johnny's personality. " But in my short time as a sensei, I've also seen some miracles." Johnny gives a glance at his three students, who smile at him.

" So, maybe there's some hope for you yet. But first I need to see where you're at. So everyone fall in!" Everyone mutters to each other, confused by Johnny's instructions. " That means line up"

Katie watches as they all line up behind Aisha, Mia and Miguel, forming three lines. " No no not line up in a line. Lines! Get in lines"

" You mean like rows?" Demetri speaks out, making Johnny hold his head in his hands. Katie lets out a laugh at this misunderstanding that is happening. This however wasn't funny to Johnny as he gives her a glare, making Katie instantly stop laughing.

Once everyone got into rows, Johnny quickly started teaching. This went on for a while and Katie took this opportunity to finish any homework that needed to be done while looking up once in a while.

For Mia, Miguel and Ashia, having more experience in the sport, are doing the routine in a flawless manner, leaving the rest growing tired of the repeated pattern.

" Fighting positions! Jab punch!"

" Nope wait til I say go Hiyah!"

" Hiyah!"

" Hiyah!"

The curly headed glanced Miguel as they both share a smile before he went back to his focused state. "Looking good Mia, Aisha" Katie says out loud enough from them to hear.

" Thanks" Aisha said breathlessly and Mia gave a nod as she jab punched the air.

" Hey Lip" Katie's head shot up from her notebook, hearing Johnny's voice call out a familiar person. "Yeah you, the one with the freaky lip. Who do you think I'm talking to" Eli stopped his movements, quickly getting nervous from Johnny calling him out and the many eyes that focused on him.

"Excuse me uh Mr. Lawrence-"

" Sensei Lawrence" Aisha corrects Demetri making him awkwardly chuckle. " Okay, you really shouldn't make fun of somebody's physical appearance"

" Oh is that so?" Johnny questions, " So, I'm not supposed to mention his lip at all?"

" Well yeah"

Having the urge to defend her friend, Katie begins to speak up but is stopped when Mia gives her a look, moving her hand to stop her from speaking. " Zip it," She whispered through her teeth. Annoyance grew in Katie at what Mia had said but, nonetheless listened and kept her mouth shut.

" Maybe that's what they teach you in school, but out in the real world, you can't expect people to do what they're supposed to do" Johnny states as Katie taken in his words, knowing his right.

" You hear that lip? You can't handle someone making fun of you. How are you gonna handle an elbow to the teeth?" Johnny says, nodding his head upwards at the shy boy.

" By calling the police" Demetri implies to the man in a tone that states the obvious. Katie could see from the corner of her eye, Mia mouthing dumbass at what Demetri had said. "Dude knock it off," Miguel intervened.

" What? He does realize the Nazis lost the war right? Why should I be scared of him? Because he's got a snake on his wall?" Demetri stated, " It's not like he's a teacher who can give us a bad grade. We're paying him. He works for us. It's not like he can actually hurt us."

" Oh no" Katie said underneath her breath as Johnny slowly made his way to Demetri. Everyone who was once crowded around, made themselves sparse of the tension between the two.

" Are you done?" Johnny said when he was in front of Demetri. " What?" Demetri questioned and that's when Katie hastily got up from her seat. Nerves were high as she watched the situation escalate. " Hit me"

" Go ahead, hit me. Strike right here" Johnny points to his face briefly. Demetri takes no time and gets into a fighting stance. He weakly throws a punch to the blonde, but is harshly slapped away. " Harder" Johnny demands him.

Katie rolls her eyes when she hears Mia snicker from her spot. Demetri shakily breathes in as he throws another punch with slightly more force than the first one. It wasn't enough when Johnny smacked his attempted punch, making Demetri wince.

" Is that all you got princess?" He taunted him. That was all it took for Demetri to give it his all and tried to throw more punches. But was quickly grabbed by the arm and thrown over Johnny's shoulder, making Demetri plummet straight to the ground.

Everyone cringes at the sound of his body hitting the floor as Katie lets out a gasp. "Hiyah!" Johnny shouts as he stops his fist right at Demetri's chest.

Johnny rises up from the ground and gazes around sternly" Let that be a lesson to all of you."

It was the next day after the showdown of Demetri getting slammed to the ground by a frantic karate man. Katie swore to herself that she was never going back, that it would be the last time she'd enter that cold atmospheric Dojo. Demetri was no different as he compared Johnny to a hooker that still took his money despite what the man put him through.

Katie enters her third class of the day and walks to her seat that is at a table near the middle of the classroom. Taking a seat, she takes her books and laptop out of her bag and places them on the table.

After months of being here and having a routine, Katie didn't feel the anxiety she felt the first two weeks. Knowing she'd be okay with how things are working out for her, she only hoped it would stay that way.

The bell rings from the hallway, echoing into the classroom, signaling that class is about to start. Once everything got situated and the teacher explained the assignment to the class. Everyone got straight to work with their friends and some working alone.

As for Katie, she decided to work alone as that was how she had gotten her work done. She pulls out her phone and headphones to listen to music while working. Tapping on her screen, her wallpaper showing a photo of her and Shadow at the skatepark. Katie smiles at her screen before, clicking shuffle on her music.

Not paying attention, Katie was too focused on her screen that she didn't notice somebody nervously standing beside the empty chair next to her. " Hey Katie" This made the girl freeze for a second and look up to see Samantha LaRusso standing there, with a genuine smile. Katie moves her hands from the keyboard and pulls on the wire to unhook from her ears. Settling them on her lap and fidgets with them.

" Hi Samantha," Katie said quietly, making the LaRusso girl's smile weaken slightly. Watching her inhale a small breath of air, she awkwardly sets her hand on the top of the black chair. " I was wondering if I could sit here," Sam said, taking a glance at the floor.

Mentally sighing, Katie hated being mad at somebody, even if they treated her horrible. She didn't want to return that same energy towards them. Nodding, Katie gestured to the seat with her hand. " Yeah you can sit there"

Sam's eyes immediately gazed back up, with Katie smiling at the brunette girl. " Are you sure? It's okay if you don't want me too" She resorted quickly, making Katie shake her head, " No it's okay, you can sit here"

Hearing those words leave her mouth, Sam smile widens and pulls out the chair to sit down. Taking her stuff out as well and placing it on the table. It was quiet for a while, Katie could see Sam glance at her from time to time. Making her wonder why Sam chose to voluntarily sit here when she could be sitting somewhere else.

Shifting her seat, Sam stops typing on her computer and looks at Katie " I have been meaning to talk to you" She explained, making Katie sigh, putting her attention on Sam. "About what?" She questions, even having an idea on what it might be.

Sam this time sighed and gave Katie a guilty look. "The last time we interacted, I...I said something stupid, just to please Yasmine and I want to apologize for that." She explained, " I'm really sorry Katie"

This left Katie a bit surprised at the popular girl's apology. Normally she would often find it meaningless considering many of them she encountered, didn't mean the words they said. So for Sam, her apology did mean something and Katie could tell right away that Samantha LaRusso wasn't one of those girls she came across.

"This whole rumor led to Yasmine and Moon not talking to me. It's not everyday you get a rumor spread about you giving a blowjob in a public theater to your ex boyfriend." Sam added on with a chuckle, recalling the many bananas that had been given to her or placed inside her backpack.

However, Katie didn't laugh along with Sam, knowing how embarrassed the LaRusso girl is about the whole situation. The rumor had been going on for a few days and she could see Sam visibly upset, but tried to keep herself composied.

"To be honest there's two reasons why I came here, One because I saw you sitting by yourself and thought you needed company and the other was my apology. Mainly on why I wanted to talk to you." She finished off her speech, and Katie sat there for a second, taking everything that was said to her.

Looking at Sam, who was nervously waiting for Katie to say something, watched as the girl in front of her gave a reassuring smile. " It's okay Sam, I forgive you" Katie said, watching Sam smile back and reach her hand out.

" I'm sorry we got off on the wrong foot, Hi I'm Sam" She reintroduced herself to Katie, who let out a small laugh and shook Sam's hand. " I'm Katie"

Back at the flower shop, Katie walks around, making the orders that need to be done at the end of her shift. Picking some peony up by the stems, that were placed in the green buckets that are filled with water. She gathers it with the rest of the other flowers in a yellow basket in hand, taking it to the counter in the back of the store.

Music softly plays in the background, making Katie hum to the tone while cutting the tips of the stems. It was quiet in the store that afternoon, not many customers came by at this hour. So she took the time to relax from the exhausting day she had at school.

Breathing in through her nostrils, Katie stops at what she's doing and closes her eyes for a moment. Appreciating the peaceful time she has before her shift ends.

" Get away from me you stinging bastard!" Demetri's shouting ends the nice moment. Opening her eyes, she sees him swatting away at the striped bee, that's desperately trying to land on the flower next to her friend.

" If you just leave him alone, he won't bother you" Katie suggests as she clips the rest of the stems.

" I was doing exactly that, but I guess it wasn't enough for him" He sassed, staring at the bee that was flying around. " At this rate how do you work with a bunch of bees flying around?" Demetri asked, gathering his stuff and walking to where Katie's at.

She shook her head and put the flowers in the vase next to her. "That's because you're standing by the flowers he collects pollen from." Katie informed, grabbing a dry rag from the counter and a spray bottle. Demetri scoffs, setting his backpack on the counter, taking a seat on the stool.

" Bees don't really bother me as much, spiders however do" Katie glances and points at him with the cutters in hand.

Demetri's eyes beamed, " Did you know that female spiders can lay up to thousands of eggs at a time?"

Katie cringed at the thought, scrunching up her shoulders. " Why did you have the need to tell me that?" She whined, with a look of unpleasantness on her face.

The pale boy shrugged, " Hey spiders are pretty cool okay? And this is some pretty good information to know," He explained. " Demetri, you would act the same way if a tarantula was in front of you," Katie retorts back with an eyebrow raised.

" True but at least I'd know some facts about them. '' He said, with a sarcastic smile. Katie playfully rolled her eyes and started spraying down the counter.

There was a moment of silence before Katie signed. " I hope Eli is doing okay" She says softly while wiping down the surface. Demetri shook his head, " I told him not to go, it's not worth it." His tone grew annoyed, making Katie stop and look at him.

" But I think this is good for him, Demetri, you saw how hopeful he was. Eli wants this for him, no one likes getting bullied" Katie said and Demetri couldn't help, but scoff. " Eli and I have been bullied basically our entire lives, at this point were used to it"

" Yeah, you are, but that doesn't mean he's not going to do anything about it" She argued. " Look I know you want what's best for him and so do I, but this could really help him"

Demetri sighed and looked down at his hands. "I just don't want him to get more insecure and that hooker sensei is not going to help with that"

" I don't like him either, but Demetri, think about it" She protested, " This could actually bring him confidence and yes I know what Johnny said was a bit...." Kaite paused her sentence, trying to think of the right word to say.

" Outta pocket? Unnecessary? Degrading?" Demetri finishes off for her. Katie nods, " Yeah but what he said was true, no one is going tiptoe around about what they say because they don't want to get your feelings hurt" Katie turned her sight to the counter with a frown.

Silence welcomes them again until Demetri spoke out " I hate that you're right" He tells her and Katie laughs a little. " And I'm surprised you let me finish talking"

" HEY" Demetri raised his voice, mocking a hurt expression. Leading to Katie covering her mouth as she laughed more. " What? I'm serious! You literally interrupt everyone including poor Miguel" She wipes the counter some more before throwing the rag at Demetri, who took his arms off the counter in avoidance of the rag touching him.

" Miguel will live" He shrugged it off with an eye roll. Katie reaches across and playfully slaps his arm, before going back to move the freshly cut flowers to the fridge.

"Katie?"

" Yeah?" Katie turns around after she'd put the flowers up, making her way back to her spot. It took Demetri a second of what he wanted to say and Katie noticed that. So she smiled softly and waited patiently for her friend to speak, "I'm glad you sat at our table that day" He finally spoke and took a nervous glance between her and the marbled counter top.

"Me too Demetri" Katie said back and those words came from her heart. The Wilson girl would never say this to anyone, but Demetri and Eli reminded her of Jason. Sacrassic, smart but also really sweet and caring about the people he loves. That wasn't the only reason why she was friends with them, but sometimes she could feel Jason when she's with them, when they spoke or acted through emotions.

The reminder brought some comfort to the girl and is willing to hold on to that for as long as she could. In hopes of finally grieving that loss that was taken from her. Katie felt a little guilty thinking that way and grasping on to it, could hurt her in the end, but she tried to not think so much about it.

She didn't want to admit to herself that she had gotten attached to them, doing anything in her power to keep that friendship alive. Hopefully she would never have to come across that and face those obstacles that would soon come forward into the light, without her knowledge.

The movement of the front door of the shop alarms the two, making Katie walk out from behind the counter and stand by Demetri. Before Katie could greet the customer, she see's Eli come into view from behind the flowers that are blocking the entryway. Her once forming smile falters, taking notice of his wet stained cheeks and red eyes.

Katie wasted no time making her way to him and engulfing him into a much needed hug. Eli lays his head on her shoulder, crying out the rest of the tears that he held back when walking over here. " Eli what happened?" She whispered worriedly as he sniffled and pulled away.

Eli looked down at the ground as Demetri walked towards them, giving a look to Katie. " See I told you this would happen" He told her, crossing his arms. The Wilson girl sighed, " Eli why don't we go sit down so you can tell us what happened okay?" She suggests, making Eli nod while wiping his tears.

The two guided him to a chair so he could sit and calm down, " Demetri there's a cooler behind the counter, can you grab a water from it please?" Kaite asked, while walking her way to the front door to flip the sign to close.

" Oh so now I can finally go to the back of the counter?" The sarcasm made Katie's eye internally twitch, " Just do it please" She pleaded annoyed and flipped the sign on the door.

Once everything got settled and Eli had taken a few sips from the cold water. He started to tell them everything that had happened from start to finish. How Johnny humiliated him in front of everyone and was told to fix his cleft lip scar if he could.

As if Katie couldn't hate more of that man, she did now. She hadn't felt this mad in a long time and it hurt her to see Eli in this state, having zero clue on how to make up for what he has been through. " This is exactly why I told you this wasn't a good idea, I mean look at the guy, he's in his late forties bullying kids, why kind of adult does that?" Demetri vents out in disbelief.

This made Katie feel even worse and started questioning if she was wrong about karate being the best thing for Eli. " I'm sorry this happened Eli'' Katie quietly spoke out, making Eli quickly lift his head up, frowning. " I shouldn't have encouraged you to continue to go back, it's my fault-"

" No it's not your fault Katie" He interrupted her, his expression turning serious, "Johnny's right, I need to flip the script" Katie and Demetri shared confused looks, " Flip the script?" Katie looks back at Eli, " What does he mean by that?"

" I think he meant to be the opposite of what you are" Demetri replied, looking at Katie as if she was simple minded, making her give him a glare. Demetri raised his hands up in surrender " Just trying to explain to you about what it meant sorry"

Grabbing the roots of her hair, she groaned, feeling frazzled about the whole thing. Demetri hesitantly put his hand on her back, gently rubbing it in circles, in hopes of comforting her.

" Before you guys say anything, hear me out" Eli said, standing up from his seat, his voice sounding desperate. Katie rubbed her face before nodding along with Demetri, indicating him to continue.

" My whole life I felt like a freak, being with this scar made me feel like I wasn't enough for anyone. That I was never going to find a girlfriend or be taken seriously. It wasn't any better that we got bullied everyday at school." Eli glances at Demetri. " I just wanna feel like I could do something without having to be afraid of people, I wanna learn how to defend my self, like I couldn't all these years"

He pauses and looks at his friends sadly, " I want to defend you guys from whoever is giving you a hard time. And lastly, I want to feel strong." He looks down at the ground, " I don't want to be afraid anymore" Eli finishes with a sigh.

Katie felt very moved from his speech and almost felt herself about to cry, but pulled herself together. She already made up her mind, she is going to help her friend find his confidence that he desperately needed.

" We are going to help you Eli" Katie stated, making Eli look up at her, surprised.

" We?" Demetri voiced out, looking at her skeptically. Ignoring him, she walked up to Eli, smiling at him. " Anything that you need, we'll help, we're here for you okay?" Kaite reassured him.

The shy boy smiled back, her words meaning everything to him, giving him the boost of reliance he needed. " Now what is the plan? Do you have anything you want to do first?" Kaite asked, seeing Eli pressing his lips into a thin line.

" I haven't thought that far ahead yet" He told her honestly. Katie thought for a second, her eyes traveling to his hair. " What about your hair? Maybe changing it could bring the unwanted attention from your lip to your hair" She suggested, and this made Eli grin happily.

" And by the way, having that scar on your lip makes you a badass" She told him with a smirk, making Eli shyly smile.

" I'm glad we became friends Katie"

¸.·✩·.¸¸.·¯⍣✩

Dusk had fallen and the stars shined brighter that night after Katie left Eli's house. She felt better about everything and Eli's smile is what made the whole ideal worth it.

All she wanted was to see is him happy and that's what she and Demetri tried to do. Well mostly Katie, Demetri sat back most of the time and complained at every chance he got.

The boy wasn't exactly on board with the situation, but Katie convinced him otherwise and soon he later joined, which made Eli even happier. That's all Katie wanted to see, Eli happy and if it takes him changing his appearance to do that, then so be it.

It was quite windy that night as Katie rode her bike to her house, the wind breezing its way through her untamed curly hair. A few houses down, Katie saw someone walking down her driveway making her alert.

Getting closer, her anxiety vanishes when she sees Robby stopping by the start of her driveway. Katie unknowing smiled and the Keene boy turned his sight her way, hearing a clicking sound of her bike coming towards him. His puzzled face soon stretched into a boyish grin as she stopped right in front of him. "Hey Katie"

" Hi," Katie said, removing the helmet from her head. "What brings you here?" She asks him, getting off her bike and loops her helmet onto the handle.

Robby stood there awkwardly, glancing at the white bag that was in his hand. "The other day I was out shopping for my mom" He starts, and Katie nods along, listening. " While I was there, I saw something that reminded me of you" Robby cleared his throat as Katie's eyes widened curiously.

" You got me something?" She questioned, feeling warm inside to which she pushed that feeling away. "Yeah" Robby answered, smiling and handed her the bag that he ached to give her.

Katie glanced at the bag and frowned, " Robby you didn't have to get me anything" She said, messing with the paper handle.

The Keene boy felt taken back, worried that she may not like his gift. " I really wanted to, Katie, really" He tried convincing her, "Are you sure?" Katie questioned him further.

"Positive" He said firmly, taking a step closer to her. The way he was staring at her made Katie feel nervous, but this one felt different and she didn't know what it was. " Okay" She told him and started opening the bag.

Robby watches her take out a box, " It's nothing much, but I really wanted to get you something. Since I missed your birthday," He explained, sheeshply.

Katie gasped, looking at Robby excitedly, " Awe Robby this is so cool" She exclaimed, taking a better look at it. An image showing a sphere with stars plastered on it, different colors of light reflecting off it.

" This is so thoughtful of you Robby, thank you" Robby smiled while looking down, trying to hide the blush that creeped on his face.

" Can I hug you?" Katie asked softly, looking at him with the most sincere smile on her lips. Robby looked at her surprised, her question catching him off guard.

" Yeah," He said shyly, taking his hands out of his pockets. Katie didn't know why she felt so nervous around Robby, but nevertheless, circled her arms around his waist as he wrapped his on the middle of her shoulders. His chin settled right above her head and hers laying on his chest.

Warmth radiated between them, making these unfamiliar feelings rise in Katie that confused her even more. She breathes in smoothly to calm herself down.

The Wilson girl felt weirdly comfortable and closed her eyes, enjoying the moment. Butterflies erupt in her stomach when Robby slightly tightens his hold onto her, making a light pink color coat her face.

A few more seconds were spent like this until Katie reluctantly pulled away from him. The warmth was now gone and she felt colder than she was before. The both of them stayed close to each other, neither moving back from the immediate proximity.

Her blue eyes looked at his face, the moonlight shining on half of it. Analyzing how soft his skin looked and the beautiful green eyes staring back into hers.

Robby smiles softly as he tucks his hands back into his pockets. What Katie didn't know was that Robby was also doing the same thing, admiring her.

Cutting her stare off, she looked somewhere, " Sorry" Katie uttered out feeling a bit embarrassed, Robby chuckled, " I don't mind"

Her face reddens more as she tries avoiding his stare, her beating heart racing against her chest. Robby's shirt catches her attention and takes the opportunity to change the subject

" LaRusso Auto?" She questions him while playing with the string of the bag again. Robby thought for a moment before looking down at his shirt. He slightly laughs, " Today was my first day" He confirms.

The girl's face lightens up, " Really? How was it? What's it like?" She asks him eagerly, and Robby finds that to be the most adorable thing he's ever seen. He couldn't help, but smile more and felt himself relax under her captivating personality.

Shrugging, he tried finding the right words to say, "Well I got to punch my boss today" He said simply, making Katie gasp with horror in her eyes. " You what?! Did you get fired? Is that why you have that envelope in your hand?" She questioned him, concerned.

Finally remembering what he was put in charge of earlier, Robby checks his watch, seeing that he was supposed to be at the LaRusso's house five minutes ago. He sighs and looks at Katie with apologetic eyes. "I'm sorry Katie, but I have to go now"

Nodding, she gives him a sad smile, understanding that he has other stuff to do. Robby notices her down state and quickly reassures her, " Look how about I make it up to you, I know a place that's a few minutes from the skatepark, they have different kinds of food. I'll tell you the crazy day I had"

Katie giggles, feeling excited about hanging out with Robby. She then realizes something and the bubbly energy whisks away in the wind, furthering itself away from her. " Um" She takes a glance at her house. Not sure if her mother would be okay with Katie hanging out with Robby, that he hasn't been introduced to.

Robby follows what she is looking at, " Are you okay?" He asks, seeing the sudden shift in her mood. Reaching forward to softly grab her forearm, making her look at him. " Yeah no, everything's fine, can you give me some time to think about it" Katie said, watching his expression turn from concerned to a confused look.

" Sure, just let me know okay?" Katie nodded " I'll text you later?" She questioned him, " Yes for sure," Robby answered with a smile. " Thank you for the gift Robby, I really like it"

Giving him one last smile, she grabs the handles of her bike and walks down her sidewalk. Leaning her bike by the steps of the porch. She reaches the front door, turning to look behind, to see Robby still standing there. They both share a wave at each other before Katie heads inside, closing the door shut behind her.

Later that night, Katie sets up the star lamp she got from Robby. Plugging it, she hurriedly runs across her room to turn off the lights. When it's dark, she presses the button from the remote in her hand and the dark room lights up, with colored stars scattering everywhere. She looks around happily and walks back to her bed, plopping herself on it.

Sure, Katie had her fair share of favorite items that she liked that sat around her room. Like the antique dresser she got for her thirteenth birthday. It was her favorite color, a shade of pastel orange. It had a curved edge on the front, with golden shimmer trimmings on the sides.

Steading herself onto her elbows, she looks at the pretty colored stars, the unfamiliar feeling coming back again in her stomach.

Robby's gift was now her favorite thing in her room.

Remember when Katie had said, that she would never go back to Johnny's Dojo? Well it backfired, because she was once again back to a place she heavily despised. Katie had to keep telling herself that she is doing this for Eli, since he had texted her this morning if she could be there with him.

Not wanting to decline and disappoint him, she agreed and now here she is. Leaning herself on the wall by the entrance.

Johnny walks out from his small office and scans around the less crowded room. " Three more absences Sensei" Miguel informs him, looking quite gloomy.

" Bunch of pussies" Aisha spat out annoyed as Johnny walked past her. " No it's my fault" He said to them and spotted Katie having her eyes set at the door.

" Are you finally joining Shirley?" He asks her with his hands on his hips. Katie slightly jumps from where she's standing, her face growing red from embarrassment as everyone had their eyes on her.

" I wouldn't hold your breath sensei" Mia intervened, having an amused look in her eyes.

Katie shook her head, " My answer is still no," She told him firmly and Johnny didn't say anything after that as he turned and walked down the mat.

" Since you joined Cobra Kai, I have been hard on you. I've called you names. I've humiliated you. Some of you I've hit. And for that, I don't apologize" Johnny confessed, looking at everyone as he passed by them.

" Cobra Kai is about strength. If you're not strong on the inside you can't be strong on the outside. And right now you're all weak. And I know that, because I was you."

The Wilson girl was intrigued by the man's words and listened intently to what he said. " I used to have no friends. Used to be the weirdo kid" Johnny told them as he pointed at a small kid named Bart.

" Not that weird. I still hooked up with babes and all" Johnny quickly add, " But, the point is I wasn't always the badass sensei I am today, Just like a Cobra, I had to shed my loser skin to find my true power and you guys will too" At the last few words he said, he pointed to everyone, including Katie who was deep in thought. Until the ringing of the door bell interrupted, bringing her back to reality.

" Welcome to Cobra Kai," Johnny said to the person who walked in. The dark blue mohawk is eye-catching with its fanned out spikes that are shaped into a point.

Katie watches as Eli stopped right next to her with a smirk plastered on his lips. " Eli what happened?" Miguel questions him, surprised, along with Aisha and an impressed Mia.

" I'm flipping the script" Eli informs, making Johnny take a few steps forward. " Wait, are you the kid with the lip?" He said walking up to him, " Nice cut bro"

" You see that?" Johnny tells his students while pointing at Eli. " Doesn't matter if you're a loser or a nerd or a freak. All that matters is that you become badass."

Johnny walks to the front, facing his students "Hawk, fall in" He said to Eli, having him take off his shoes, but before walking to his spot, he turns to look at Katie and gives her a flirty wink.

" Fear does not exist in this dojo does it?" Johnny stands in front of Hawk. " No, Sensei"

" Pain does not exist in this dojo does it?" He makes his way to Aisha and Mia. " No Sensei," They both said. Lastly he faces Miguel, with a stern look.

" Defeat does not exist in this dojo does it?" The Diaz boy shakes his head " No Sensei"

Katie watches Johnny face himself in the mirror with everyone having their arms behind their back. " Class are you ready to learn the way of the fist?"

" Yes Sensei!"
