" Are you positive the test is today?" Demetri lets out a wine, as Katie and him walk out of their second period class and into the hallway.

Katie paid no attention to her taller friend, her mind drafting off from her last conversation with Robby. The pair have been talking non stop since the Wilson girl first texted him.

" I've studied plenty of times and am very confident that I'm going to pass, but- no I still think you got the dates wrong" Demetri rambled on, with Katie humming along, having no clue on what he's talking about.

Stopping by his locker, Katie subconsciously looks to the right side of the hallway and sees Aisha also by her locker. She hadn't had the chance to talk to the girl, since they don't have any classes together. Ever since the video dropped at the dance, classmates of theirs would taunt Aisha and yell out horrible names to her, whenever she was spotted around school.

Katie felt awful, just seeing a sweet girl like Aisha go through such a thing. Mentally deciding on going up to her, she turns to look at Demetri who is going through his written down dates in his notebook. " I'll be back and by the way I didn't get the dates wrong"

She tells him at the same time as he finds the dates of their test, confirming that she is right. He groans and shakes his head, " How many do you want?" He annoyedly asked the girl, who gave him a cheerful look.

"I want four" Katies holds up her fingers "Chocolate chip cookies and a coke" She finishes with a cheeky smile.

Patting his shoulder, she then walks away from him, towards Aisha. Leaving a displeased Demetri, "Anything else your highness?" Katie hears him mumble out, making her let out a giggle.

"Hey Aisha" She sends a small wave to the girl when she stands beside her, who has a gloomy expression. Once she hears a different voice that is not the ones she has been listening to lately, her face lightens up.

"Finally a face I'm actually pleased to see" She beams and closes her locker. Katie looks at her softly, " I'm sorry about what happened, I know what it's like" Katie comforts the girl, who nodded and looked around, seeing the mocking faces and pig noises, being targeted at her.

Aisha shakes her head and leans her back against her locker, "This isn't something new, similar things like this, have happened before" She sighs out.

" But it goes away, doesn't last a long time" Katie tries to be optimistic, but this only leads to Aisha scoffing.

" That's a similar thing Sam has told me, trust me it never goes away" She snaps at Katie, sitting up straight.

Katie, however, wasn't surprised at Aisha's reaction or hurt by it, because she understands. Feeling hopeless and anger at the same time is all you feel when people are heartless towards you.

"But that's gonna change, once I join karate" Aisha points out with a stern face, letting her know that she is serious.

" Do you know when you're going?" Katies questions her, crossing her arms and shifting her foot to the other.

" I don't know yet, website says they're doing a session today, but I don't know if I should go" Aisha frowns and puts her gaze to the floor.

The Wilson girl thinks for a second and once she has a solution on helping the girl in front of her, she gives her a warm smile. " I think I can help with that"

Robby Keene had always wanted parents who are constantly in his life. Putting their kid first before anything. Parents that didn't drown themselves in cheap alcohol, because they couldn't handle the responsibilities that they had in their life.   

Johnny was never ready to become a parent and led his fears very early on, to intervene in the relationship with his son. He screwed up with Robby and he regrets it every day since. He wished he could have been a better father to him, but Robby wanted no part of him in his life.

The thing is Robby doesn't know the regrets that his father has and wants to have some sort of relationship with him.

Shannon Keene on the other hand always had built some sort of wall between Johnny and Robby. Continuing the strain that divides between them. Her personal issues with her ex always seemed to get in the way if the father and son duo, ever wanted to try to fix their broken potential bond.

Just because Shannon Keene is the only parent in Robby's life, does not make her any better than Johnny Lawrence.

The teenager opens the front door of the apartment and closes it behind him after walking in. Carrying grocery bags containing frozen pizzas, and in the other holding a mysterious bag.

Laying them down on the kitchen counter, Robby instantly smiles, seeing his mom coming out of her room. "Hey Mom" He greets her as she walks past him.

" Hi babe" Shannon softly says to her son, moving her way to the kitchen, on the looks of finding something.

Robby tried ignoring the dress she's wearing, hoping she wasn't going out tonight like usual. " I went to vone's and got those frozen pizzas that you like"

Noticing his mother not remotely interested in what her son was talking about, Robby tries again. " You wanna make dinner and watch a movie?" He asks his mother with an expectant voice.

Shannon finally looks at her son, " Oh, that's so sweet honey, um I actually have to run a couple of errands, but how about we do that tomorrow night?"

Looking away somewhere else to not meet Robby's eyes, a slight guilt forming in her heart. Knowing how wrong it was leaving her son alone, but she couldn't help it, she was only thinking of herself.

Robby's smile slowly slipped away from his lips, "Yeah. Sure." His mother pats his shoulder, making her way around him to fumble inside her purse.

He breathes through his nose to calm himself down, tucking his hands in his pockets. His head hanging low, upset with the fact of his mother not caring enough to spend time with her only child.

" If you're not too hungover" He couldn't help, but snap at her. Finally looking at her as she stands straight from picking through her purse.

" Hey" She tells him, hearing the frustration in his voice. " Okay look you caught me, I'm going out but you know what?, it is dine in LA week so.."

Turning around to stand in front of the full length mirror, Shannon clicks open her lipstick, applying the sickening red color onto her lips. As she kept fixing up her appearance, her eyes wandered to the grocery bags and beside them was a smaller bag.

"What's in the bag?"

She nods her head to it while fixing her blond bleached curls. Robby looks behind him, seeing the white paper bag displaying in its full glory. He gives her glance, " Something I saw and thought it was cool"

Robby shrugs and leans his lower back against the counter. His mother turns around and gives him a raised eyebrow, "Is it for a girl?" She guesses, putting her hand on the counter for support. A curious smile displayed on her face, making her son's eyes widen.

"She's a friend, we've been talking for a bit" He tells his mother, who nods at his words, her smile never leaving her face.

" It always starts like that Robby, trust me, I know" Shannon turns to look at her self again, while her fixing the corner of her lip. " Oh, did I mention that your deadbeat father came by to see me?"

The Keene boy frowned, " No, what'd he say?". Shannon slings her purse over her shoulder. " Just some bs about you moving in with him as if he suddenly gives a shit. I'm pretty sure it's just a scam to get out of paying for child support"

She sighs out and grabs her keys from the counter. " Well, I mean how do you know that?" Robby asked, somewhere in him, he believed that his father cared about him and he wanted to know if that was true.

" Trust me I know your father" His mother scoffs, "Listen, I know that you're super bummed out about tonight, but" She takes a pause and looks at her son with sympathy. " You know I'm trying to meet that special someone. You're only getting older and bigger and who knows that girl you're talking to might end up into something more."

Shannon reaches out to cup her son's chin, "And sooner or later, you're gonna leave me for a life filled with excitement. You don't wanna leave your mama alone do you?"

A small sigh leaves Robby's lips as he shakes his head. " No"

" Thank you baby I love you" She gives her son kiss on the forehead before leaving for the night. Robby watches his mother with a despairing look, seeing her walk towards the front door of their apartment.

" Love you too" He whispers back after she closes the door behind her, hearing the clicks of her heels echoing away, until there was no sound anymore.

Silence welcomes Robby once again, hearing nothing but the sound of his own heart beat. Which is nothing that he isn't used to, being alone was hard for Robby, but he would never admit it to anyone.

After putting the frozen pizzas away, planning on eating one later for dinner by himself. He takes a trip back to the infamous white bag again, putting his hand inside and taking out a box.

Robby chuckles with a smile, seeing it for the first time in the store, made him think of Katie. Who would've known a girl like her could make his days better.

Texting her after a long day of scamming people with his two criminal friends. Gave Robby a sort of comfort because even though his Dad tries to be in his life and his mother disappears until coming back, black out drunk. Repeating her actions all over again the next day.

Made Robby feel less lonely, he only knew Katie for a short time. But, would soon realize how much of an impact she would make, in his life.

Mia pulls up to a worn down strip mall in Reseda, parking next to a red Pontiac firebird. " Guys that's the car I saw at the halloween dance" Katie implied as the three teen girls pile out of the car.

" Sick firebird," Mia says, looking at the classic vehicle as she slams the door shut behind her.

The three of them look at the big sign that is plastered above. Two big images of yellow cobras on both sides of the bold white letters that spell out, 'Cobra Kai Karate'.

" Now that we're here, I'm actually not that nervous" Katie tells the two girls, Mia gives her a look. " It's because your not trying out bug, it's just me and four eyes here"

Katie slaps her sister on the arm, giving her a glare. " Ignore her Aisha, being an asshole is her personality"

Aisha shakes her head, "Its okay, I need to toughen up anyway"

She walks ahead of them, before the two girls follow, Katie gives one last slap on the arm to her sister, and hurriedly runs after Aisha. Prior to Mia giving her far worse than what she did. 

Opening the door, the sound of bells rings throughout the cold dojo. " No yoga until five" A blond man calls out to the group of girls who came in. Katie sees Miguel standing next to his sensei, sending a smile to her.

" No matter how bad you need it" He tells the three, Mia is the first to strike a conversation with the impolite man.

"We're actually here for Karate" She states with attitude, " I saw your website, It said that there was supposed to be a session today" Aisha speaks up and walks up to him, with a hopeful look in her eyes.

" I appreciate you coming in, but there are no girls in Cobra Kai" He said the bullied girl, Miguel and Katie looked at him in disbelief, while Mia loudly scoffed, crossing her arms. 

Aisha looked at the man with confusion, " Why not?" she asks him softly.

" Same reason there aren't women in the Army, doesn't make sense" He responds back in his confideate belief that he's right. Miguel shook his head with a sigh.

"Sexist much?" Mia questions him with a hardened glare. Before the blond could say anything back at the self reliant girl. Miguel pulls his sensei to the side, Katie watches as they bow to them, before leaving the mat and into the office.

" This old ass has the nerve" Mia comments to Aisha, as they make small talk to each other. Katie checks out the place, seeing the colors black and red decorating the walls.

Mirrors lined side by side with each other, giving the reflection of the mat in the center of the room. Katie felt the cold shiver run down her back, seeing the bold words ' Fear does not exist in this dojo' on the wall beside her.

Katie gulps nervously, feeling the nerves already making their way to her stomach. Messing with her fingers to distract herself from suddenly wanting to throw up, the wilson girl felt small and scared. Was this the right decision to come here?

Even though she wasn't joining, her number one thought was if this was equitable for Mia and would it help her in the long run?

Miguel and his sensei come back from the office, Katie holding a breath in for what's about to come next. " Ok you guys take off your shoes, hop on the mat"

Mia and Aisha take off their shoes before stepping onto the black and red padded mat. Katie stayed in her spot, watching them from behind. " Okay after further review, I've decided to allow female students"

" Took you long enough" Mia utters out, filling the silent room. Johnny gives her a brief glare," But, if you wanna be in Cobra Kai," He explains while looking at Mia, then turning his gaze back to Aishia. " You can't act like a girl"

Katie could see Miguel's disagreement in face, letting out a deep sigh, he looked back at his sensei. "What do you mean? How do girls act?" Aisha asks the older confused.

" Don't give me that, you know, all emotional, loud, complainly. Never letting you finish a sentence." He grumbles the last part and Katie couldn't help but slightly let out a laugh when Mia turned her head to the side. Mouthing 'asshole' to the curly headed.

" Well I know a few guys who act just-"

"Quiet!"

Johnny shouts out to Aisha, making her immediately stop talking. Katie flinched at the sudden outburst and gazed at Miguel that had no reaction, as Mia held her hands behind her back. Full focus on the blonde man when he walks back and forth in front of them, keeping a stern face. 

"My student tells me you've been harassed at school" He states to Aisha, his blue eyes looking up and down between the floor and her.

The girl looked down to the floor letting out a quiet 'yeah'. " Mostly online, I get mean texts and emails sent to me" She tells Johnny while he continues to pace back and forth. "Makes me not wanna go"

"And who sends you these messages?" The blonde questions.

" Well, they're mostly anonymous, these kids create fake accounts. And they tell me things like I'm ugly and that I should kill myself" 

Katie swallowed the hardened lump that was forming on her throat. Feeling empathy for her friend, but also upset at how cruel people can be. She knew how that felt.

" Oh my god" Johnny said in disbelief when he stopped in front of her. Looking at her that held emotion from what Katie could tell, she thought he was thinking the same thing she was.

" What a bunch of pussies" He scoffs and walks away from the girl. Mia let out an amused laugh while Katie's face went blank, definitely not expecting that sort of response.

" Back in my day, if you wanted to tease someone, you did it to their face. There was honor, respect" He led on beginning to pace again, having Mia nodding at every single word he said and Miguel looking at him with fire in his eyes.

" These geeks hiding behind their computers, what a bunch of spineless losers" He spats out with a shake of his head.

" Cowards" The older Wilson says out loud, making Johnny smile, pointing at her. " I like her" He looks at Miguel, " I told you sensei, she's perfect for Cobra Kai" He says with a proud smile.

Johnny's face turns serious again and puts his attention back on Aisha" You're not afraid of these losers are you?"

" No?" She tells him, unsure of her answer.

" You gonna take shit from these losers?" Walking up to her, Aishia looks up from the floor.

" No," Aisha said again, but with more stability.

" Good because when i'm done with you, you're gonna be sending a message back" He came to a pause in his steps.

" Only it's not gonna be with your keyboard" Johnny dramatically takes another pause between his words. Curiously making the teens intrigued to hear his next words.

" It's gonna be with your fists" The blonde raises them up in the air, in a fighting position. Aishia smiled, liking the idea he had.

" Hell yeah" Mia smirked, giving Miguel a big high five.

The younger Wilson was the only person who is slightly on the fence about the whole speech from the inconsiderate man, giving her an anxious feeling. She didn't know how to feel about the whole ' giving the person your fist' type of thing. Though deep down, she also agreed with him, Katie didn't want to admit it to anyone, not even to herself.

Katie sees Johnny drop his arms to his sides and turns to look at her sister. " Mia right?" He points to her, making her nod in response. " My student also tells me you're the defender of the bullied?"

" Only to those who deserve it" She says proudly, earning a nod from Aisha and Miguel. Johnny gives her a satisfied smile before shifting his sight to Katie that's behind the two teenage girls.

She felt small tingles of goosebumps form on her skin when everyone shifts their focus on her. If only she could gain the power to turn invisible like Dememtri had said before, she would.

" Why are you still standing over there? Aren't you going to try out?" Johnny query's her with an eyebrow raise. Katie darts her eyes over to Mia, who sees her younger sister singling her for help.

Miugel steps up, " Sensei, she's not joining" He quickly comes to his friend's defense. " Yeah my sister isn't into this type of stuff" Mia also adds, sending a reassuring smile to Katie, who only lets out a slight breath of relief.

Johnny gives a short chuckle, " Or maybe she's a scaredy cat, either way you can't be a sissy in this lifetime kid" He states with hands on his hips.

Katie felt a bit hurt at the man's choice of words, but he's right. Deep down inside she'd often felt like a coward, never wanting to try and stand up for herself.
Though when it came to the people that she cares about, Katie would try her best to push herself and defend them. Yet her anxiety would bring her back in the depths of the self made hole she dug herself into. 

" What's your name?" Johnny brings her back to reality, Katie could feel Mia's worried stares and Miguel's glances between his Sensei and her.

The Wilson girl starts fidgeting with her fingers, the words 'Fear does not exist in this dojo' running in the back of her mind, " Katie" She spits out, " Katie Wilson" Clearing her throat that was going dry from the lack of confidence.

Mia mouthed " There you go" to her younger sister, who was trying not to have an anxiety attack right on the spot. " Okay Katie you ca-"

" I'm not a sissy or a scaredy cat" Katie interrupts Johnny. Her hands no longer in front of her, but rather looking relaxed by her sides. She didn't know where this boost of confidence had come from, maybe it was because of Mia giving her the encouragement she needed. Or Katie finally having the nerve to stand up for herself and face the situation at hand. Her heart was pounding hard in her chest, making her look calm from the outside, but freaking out on the inside.

Johnny gave Katie a challenged upward nod,"Alright Shirley Temple, then why don't you give it a try?" Mia snorted at the nickname, while the curly headed shook her head.

" Me? No, not interested, but they are. I just come here as moral support" She stated loud and clear to his ears. Katie looked at Aisha who sent warm smile her way.

" I'll do it" Mia raises her hand, glancing at the man. " Alright then, Diaz to the right and Wilson to the left." Johnny orders both teens who walked to their spots on the mat.

Aisha joins Katie on the sidelines, watching Johnny stand on the outer part of the mat between them. " Okay let's see what you got Ms. Wilson" 

" Face me bow" Katie watches them bow to Johnny including himself. " Face each other bow"

Once they bowed to each other, they looked at Johnny for further instruction. " Mr. Daiz show her everything you've learned" 

Miguel looked at his Sensei wide eyed, " Wait, wait I don't think this is right Sensei"

" You don't think what's right?" He questioned his student, " She's a girl, I'm not gonna" Miguel trails off.

" And? I thought you said women were equal to men" Johnny gestured towards him, reminding Miguel of their little talk they had in the office.

" I didn't mean it like that-"

" Come on miggy" Mia mocks him with an eye roll, "Stop being a pussy and fight me!" She exclaims, putting her hands in the air.

" You heard her, FIGHT!" Johnny yells out, and Miguel tries to protest more, but is sent flying straight to the ground on his back instead. By Mia giving him a forward kick, straight to the chest.

Katie and Aisha gasp seeing Miguel, holding his chest with his hand. " Cobra Kai material right here" Johnny tells Mia as they both share a fist bump.

" Are you sure he's learning karate? Because it didn't look like there wasn't any progress being made" The brunette tells the blonde who presses his mouth into a thin line.

" I think he needs more practice Sensei" Mia added on and Johnny, inclined at her words, looking at his student.

" Yeah I know that" He sighs, looking down at Miguel who is still recovering from Mia's unexpected kick.

" Aisha it's your turn" Mia claps her hands together smiling, walking energetically towards the pair.

After Katie helps Miugel off from the floor and gives him an apologetic look, she walks back to her spot next to Mia. Miguel rubs the tender spot on his chest, slightly hissing at the pain. " Shake it off Diaz " Johnny said to him and turned to Aisha who looked rather nervous. " Ready?"

" Wait, I just wanna remind everyone this is my first day" Aisha says to Johnny.

" Your enemies don't care what day it is"  He States, " They prey on weakness, If you wanna beat them you gotta conquer your fears and jump face first into the fire"

Those words sunk into Katies mind, she had many fears, but the one fear that seemed to stop her at any situation at hand is her weakness. That ill feeling when she feels like she can't do anything, but just take what is coming to her.

" Are you ready, Ms. Robinson?"

Katie darts her eyes from the floor to Aisha, who shifts uncomfortably on her spot. " I guess," She says unsure.

" Mr. Diaz" Johnny turns to Miguel who still has his hand on his chest. He looked at his sensei, pleading him with eyes at this bad idea.

" Fight!"

The younger Wilson cups her face, being scared to watch the scene in front of her, meanwhile Mia yells out, " Drag his ass Aisha!"

Miguel exhales out a breath and gets into a fighting position. " I'm sorry" He tells her before sending a kick to the stomach. Aisha fell to the ground with a thud, immediately holding the aching spot. The Diaz boy quickly apologizes and runs over to help her up.

" Oh my god Aisha are you okay?!" He holds out his hand. Without warning, Aisha gets up from the floor and tackles Miguel to the mat with a yell. She stands on her feet and jumps, landing on his side with her knees.

Katie winces at the sight, " Yay! Aisha, you go girl!" Mia exclaims, running up the girl to give her a high five.

Miguel lets out a loud groan, rolling on his side. " My ribs" He weakly says out.

Johnny smirks and looks at Aisha " Girl's a natural cobra"

A sudden commotion was being made from outside, that caught Johnny's attention. " All right students wait right here, Diaz you're in charge"

Katie makes her way over to Miguel just as Johnny walks out of the Dojo, making the bell ring on the door. Miguel lets out a cough and reaches to grab Katie's hand, bringing him up with the help of Aisha. "Let me see" Katie calmly says to him, gesturing to raise his shirt up.

Nodding in pain, he slowly rises up his shirt revealing reddened bruise forming, Katie couldn't help, but wince again. "You got him good Aisha" She glances at her while taking a better look, inspecting it.

The word weakness stuck onto Katie like gum, after the encounter with Johnny Lawerence at his Cobra Kai dojo. She couldn't stop thinking about it and would recall his words that people 'prey on weakness' to heart.

By all means doesn't make Katie like him, she's still worried about her sister joining Cobra Kai, considering how bad Mia's anger could get.

However still wished she could be like her sister. Strong. Confidante. Brave. Katie felt like she wasn't any of what people would describe her older sister. Wishing she was, is always going to be one of those goals on her imaginary list. Hopefully one day, it'll come sooner rather than later.

Darting her eyes off her mini bag of Funyuns that are laying on the surface of the table. Katie glances at the lunch line in front of her. Seeing her friends gathering their lunch trays. She could see Demetri let out a scowl when grabbing the bag full of warm baked cookies. Knowing it was for her, she smiles remembering the bet they made on a trivia question in class. She won and was now getting a delicious sweet treat because of it.

Coming out of the lunch line, Katie sees Samatha LaRusso with her lunch try in hand. Her pretty blue dress flowed behind her at each step she took. Looking around for a place to sit, spotting Yasmine. She starts making her way over to their table, until the blonde puts her luxury purse on the chair next to her. Signaling to the brunette that she's not welcomed.

Katie sees Sam sigh and turn to the direction where they both make eye contact. Katie sets up straight in her seat feeling nervous. The LaRusso girl pleads with her eyes if should sit at her table. 

The curly headed girl felt bad and even though Sam's comment to Katie was unnecessary. She knew better and wanted to give Sam a second chance, and so she nodded towards the brunette. Sam lets out a grateful smile and starts walking over to her.

Until a screech of a chair was made beside Katie, making her look up to find Mia sitting down. The older sister gives her a smile before snatching the chips from Katies side. Sam reluctantly stoped by their table, feeling quite intimidated by Mia who quickly notices her standing there.

" Move along princess," Mia waves her hand away from their table.  " Why don't you go to Kyler's table? Since you're quite popular over there" She said with a smirk and tossed a chip into her mouth.

Sam signs with frustration, leaving to sit over at Aisha's table, who also gave her the same treatment.

Katie brought her hands to her face with a groan " Was that really necessary?" She asks through her fingers. Mia shrugged at her question even though Katie couldn't see. "Bug you can't let people walk all over you," She tells her sister, and the younger uncovers her face and turns to look at Mia.

" Especially if it's from a rich girl who doesn't know what she wants,"  Mia adds with a crunch of the chip.

Katie shakes her head at her sister's comment " Im sure that rumor isn't true, besides it's from Kyler out of all people, who happens to be a liar"

Mia rolled her eyes and sits up " Not that peabrain bug, I'm talking about what she said to you, she deserves what coming to her"

Before Katie could protest, a loud sound of a tray clashes with the floor, causing the whole cafeteria to go silent. Finding where the sound has come from, the sister's look to see Sam standing in front of Kyler in an angry manner.

" Hey guys!" Kyler yells out to everyone, " You know that billboard with a big ass dick on it?" He questions out with a snarky tone.

" I guess Sam takes after her Dad" Everyone starts laughing while Kyler gives the LaRusso girl a smirk.

Katie looked around to find Miguel standing a few feet from her with his lunch in hands. They both share a look as Mia chuckles from Katie's side.

"Hey Kyler" Miguel's shouts to the Asian boy, slamming his tray on Aisha's table. " Why don't you shut the hell up and stop being such an asshole" Miguel said while walking up to the bully.

Kyler and his friends gather around the Daiz boy, " Want another beat down Rhea?" He pushes Miguel, getting into his face. Katie quickly stands up from her seat, anxiously watching her friend.

" I'm ready for your lame ass karate this time" Giving another forceful shove, that made Miguel bump into the table behind him. He regains his stance, " It's not lame ass karate"

Kyler tries to send a punch, but is blocked by Miguel grabbing his arm and twisting it. " It's Cobra Kai"

Miguel sends a powerful punch to Kyler's face. Making the crowd that formed around gasp. Kyler touches his nose that is bleeding from the blow, angrily, he grabs Miguel and throws him to the nearest table, slamming him on the surface.

However that didn't stop Miguel because soon after he gets out of Kyler's grasp and gives him another punch to the face, and with a kick to the back. Having Kyler slam himself to another table near them, knocking him down to the floor.

" NO MERCY" Aisha yells out, and that's when Katie saw something clicked inside Miguel's head. He started dodging punches and kicks that were thrown his way, from Kyler's friends.

Everything that Miguel had learned from Johnny was used in this aspect. Katie watches in amazement as he conquers any attack that comes by. Regardless of what was happening, Katie immediately takes notice of one of the bullies sneaking up behind Miguel, who was busy fighting off one of the others.

Something inside Katie snapped and as if her legs had a mind of their own, she sprints towards the fighting group. She eyes an empty tray on the floor, swiftly picking it up, lunging forward to connect the platter to the boy's face. Sending him straight to the ground with a clunk, ending with him holding his face in pain.

Katie stood there blank and dropped the tray in shock by her own actions. She broke her stare on the boy that was lying on the ground to Mia who only had a proud smirk on her lips. Demetri and Eli stared at her in shock at what she had done.

This did not go unnoticed by Miguel because he also stopped what he was doing and gave Katie an awed look.

Katie turns her focus back to Miguel, who sees Kyler getting up again from their floor and runs over to him. Miguel uses Bruck as a pawn and stands up onto the table. Kicking Kyler in the chest before swinging the tray straight to his face.

Instant claps began filling up the room, the crowd cheering for Miguel. Katie and Miguel both share a proud look to each other before he stares amongst the others. He stands up and looks at Sam, a smile slowly forming on her lips.

" Hey! get down from there right now!" The voice of Counselor Blatt enters into the cafeteria, making her way to Miguel.

Katie feels herself being dragged away from her spot by Demetri and Eli, taking her further away so she doesn't get in trouble.

The string of claps continues on while Miguel gets pulled away, straight the the principal's office.

" All four of them?" Johnny repeated the words that his student told him. " Yeah," Miguel confirmed to his Sensei.

"Even the big dumb one?" The man pointed out, earning a laugh from Mia. " Even him, Sensei, Miguel kicked their asses," She said, smiling proudly.

" Yeah, it all happened so fast. Everything just came together. I was blocking, I anticipated. I slithered" He adds on with his fingers, remembering what he learned.

Johnny nodded, his expression still the same, he chuckled. " Your mom's gonna kill both of us." He sighed, glancing around his desk. " Well, she would if she knew" Miguel quickly said.

"When my school called my yaya answered. Never seen her so proud, she won't talk" He added the last part, making Katie smile, she couldn't be more happy for her friend.

Mia clears her throat, looking at Miguel as she takes a glance at Katie. He frowns before remembering the surprising part that happened in the fight. " Katie, uh do you want to let him know-"

" Of course she does. '' Mia interrupted, already having her phone in hand, scrolling through it as she clicked on the video. '' Mia no, don't-'' Katie tried grabbing the phone away from her sister, but it was too late. She passed it on to her sensei.

" Let me know about what?" He asked, moving his head back, to see the screen better. " Sensei look at the left corner, it's a quick second, so look closely" She explained, clicking play on the video.

Katie signed, not liking this at all as she watches Johnny move closer to the screen, the clip replaying again. She starts to fumble with her hands as he looks up at her.

" Holy shit," He looked at Katie wideyed, " I knew there was some Cobra in you" Johnny voiced out as he watched the video again before handing it back to Mia.

" It was awesome sensei. You should've been there" Miguel quipped, glancing at Katie.

" So are you thinking about joining now, Killer?" Johnny questioned the curly headed, while she stared at him confused. " Killer?" She debriefed, rising an eyebrow at him.

" It has a badass ring to it, and you don't even know karate. You had a killer instinct at that fight." The man elaborated, " Silent Killer.... see ? Badass" He stated, leaning back into his chair.

Katie looked at Mia and Miguel, who agreed with his choice of nickname. " What happened to Shirly Temple?" She asked, crossing her arms at the man.

"I'm still calling you that, so are you joining?" Johnny questioned again, leaning slightly forward in his seat.

" No thanks, I'll pass," Katie professed, having Mia scoff at her. " Really bug?"

Johnny shook his head, " If you change your mind-" Katie interrupted, " Which I won't"

" There'll be a spot open for you" He finished, curling a nod her way, before putting all his focus on Miguel.

" All right, let me get this straight." Johnny gets up from his chair walking around his desk, to stand in front of Miguel. " You took all the lessons I taught you..and you used them..to straight up beat the shit out of those punks?"

" Well yeah" Miguel glanced down before looking at his sensei. " Follow me" He told the two students as they walked out of the office. " You too Shirley'' Johnny calls out to Katie, who rolled her eyes at the name, before following them.

When the four headed outside, Johnny opened the trunk of his car, taking out an original Cobra Kai gi he had worn in the eighties. He hands it to Miguel, and an extra one to Mia, telling them both on how much they earned it. While they hugged their sensei, with Johnny also having Katie join in as well. The three of them not noticing Robby Keene, standing at a corner of the strip mall, feeling anger and hurt at the sight of Miguel hugging his dad.
