Chapter 2: The someone
Chapter 2: The someone
"You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today."
Jungkook's house was messy, but he didn't seem to mind. He was locked in his room, staring at Taehyung's frame on his bed.
"Are you serious? You're not going to sell them?" Jimin said angrily as he stood in front of Jungkook in his room.
"How many times do I have to tell you? I'm not going to sell them, that's final." Jungkook simply responded.
"Really?! We put our lives in danger only to rob them! Jungkook, you've got to be kidding me!" Jimin retorted frustratedly because he thought he hit the jackpot.
"Don't worry, hyung, I'll be better next time. Just call Yoongi hyung, I need his help." Jungkook smiled sitting up on his bed.
"And why do you need him in the first place? Let him sleep, he's tired." Jimin crossed his arms.
"Tired? Stop being whipped to him. He's been sleeping for the entire day. Just give him a call and tell him I need him to hack the password." Jungkook snapped.
"And why would I do that?" Jimin inquired mockingly.
"Don't ask any more questions, just do what I say." Jungkook sighed.
"Fine." Jimin shook his head.
Later that conversation, Yoongi arrived quickly and began hacking the password. He is sitting beside Jungkook who looks so excited for some reason.
"What is your reason for doing this? You never did it before." Yoongi started to ask a question and began typing a piece of code.
"I'd like to know the person who owned these items." Jungkook replied, focusing his eyes on the screen.
"Him? Do you mean that guy in the picture frame?" Yoongi inquired curiously, pointing to the frame above Jungkook's drawer.
"Uhm, yeah, believe me, if you saw him, you'd admire him. He looks so innocent, his perfume was so addictive, and his eyes were so beautiful that I wanted to stare at them. He is so beautiful, hyung." Jungkook giggled fantasizing about Taehyung's face with a blush creeping on his cheeks.
"You're drooling, dude." Yoongi snickered.
"I can't help myself, hyung, he's so gorgeous. He seems different and I want to keep him in my pocket." Jungkook chuckled like a baby.
"But he's a Kim, you know what I'm talking about." Yoongi told him.
"I know." Jungkook let out a sigh.
"I just want to remind you, Jungkook, that rich and poor people are never the same. They only know how to get money, and that is all that matters to them. If I were you, I'd keep my fantasy because he'll never be yours." Yoongi reminded him and patted his shoulder.
"I'm going to check my motor." Jungkook rises and walks away.
He felt like he'd lost hope in having the boy, but he wasn't sure what he was feeling. Maybe it was just a tiny infatuation, nothing more, and he'd soon forget about him.
He walked out of his house, found his motor parked in the small garage, and knelt next to it to begin washing it.
"Why did he have to slap me in the face with the truth? He's a complete jerk." Jungkook muttered as he snatched up the hose.
He was cleaning his motor and reorganizing some parts, checking for any loose tiers. He was stooping down and inspecting the wheel.
Until he noticed milky soft legs on the right side of his body. When he looked up, he knew who it was
"What th— yahh! As I have told you before, I am not interested in you." Jungkook grumbled standing up from the ground.
"Come on, everyone likes me, so why don't you?" She whines trying to attract Jungkook with her smooth milky legs.
"Because, Victoria, I'm not everyone." Jungkook responded shaking his head.
"I'm beautiful tho." Victoria complains.
"No, you haven't met him yet. I don't want to see you, so please leave." Jungkook uttered and dry his motor with the towel
"Oh god, I look like drugs, try me and you'll be addicted." Victoria smirked, her fingers encircling Jungkook's left arm and tracing Jungkook's razor-sharp jaw.
Jungkook smiled as he gently pulled her away. He took off his jacket and put it on Victoria because she was wearing a dress that was very tight and exposed her chest.
"I know how to respect women, yes, you're attractive, but I'm not interested in you, respect yourself as well." Jungkook sighed and reached into his pocket for his key.
He started his engine and reversed it so he can move.
"Where are you going again? I'll go with you." Victoria yelled but Jungkook has already left.
She smirked as she looked at Jungkook.
"That's one of the reasons I admire you, Jeon, you're unique." Victoria grinned and clutched Jungkook's jacket.
-----
Taehyung was in university, which he liked since he could talk to people without having to talk about business. He was whining when he walked down the corridor, and he was frowning since it was already time to leave the University. He has no intention to return to his parent's house.
"How are you doing, Tae?" His friend, Bogum asked, standing near him.
"Nothing, I'm fine." Taehyung spoke while walking.
"How's it going with your fiance, Yohan?" Bogum inquired curiously.
"Please don't refer to him as my fiance, I hate that and also hate him." Taehyung grimaced, rolling his eyes.
"But, aren't you engaged to him? And everyone is aware of it." Bogum retorted.
"I know, but I'm not interested in marrying him, he's not my type." Taehyung clarified.
"So, what's your type?" Bogum was interested to know him more.
Taehyung came to a halt and smiled for a brief moment. He was thinking about the thief who had robbed their home the day before.
He wasn't sure what it was, but he sensed something, those terrifying dazes weakening his knees, his voice fluttered Taehyung's heart, and the lips on his cheeks sent a chill down his spine. He only caught a glimpse of the man's eyes, but he knows he was stunning.
"Are you okay, Tae? What are your thoughts?" Bogum tapped him noticing that he seemed to be lost.
Taehyung shooked his head and smiled.
"No one, hyung." Taehyung grinned with a blush creeping on his cheeks.
"No one?" Bogum was perplexed.
"I mean, nothing, yeah, it's nothing." Taehyung cleared his throat.
"Are you sure?" Bogum asked.
Taehyung nodded, knowing he shouldn't admire the robber who robbed his heart—house, but he can't stop himself, he even paints the robber's eyes to admire him. He knows it's wrong, but he still wants to know who the robber is.
"Your fiance has arrived, Tae." Bogum uttered seeing his friend's fiance.
"Wait, where?" Taehyung inquired and looked around.
Bogum pouted as he pointed to Yohan, who was standing at the gate. Taehyung sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Just tell him I'm absent, I'm unwell, bye!" Taehyung flees.
"What's going on?! Why are you running away?" Bogum asked him but it was already too late.
Taehyung dislikes accompanying Yohan because he has been abusive and is pressuring him to do something he does not want to do.
He spotted a man on a motorcycle and dashed over to him, grabbing the helmet and putting it on.
"Hey, that's mine." Jungkook spoke surprised by the stranger's action.
"Please, help me to get out of here." Taehyung begged, clutching Jungkook's arms.
"Why would I do that? You snatched my helmet out of nowhere. There's no way I will help you." Jungkook retorted annoyingly.
"I'll do anything, promise I know how to keep my word." Taehyung pleaded desperately.
"Fine, hop now." Jungkook sighed hopping in his motor.
Taehyung moved behind him and grabbed his shoulder. He looked at the gate and saw Yohan looking for him. Jungkook started his engine. He quickly hide his face behind Jungkook's back till they were gone from the University.
