Kid POV

Damnit!...Damnit! Did he say purple flowers with red speckles or red flowers with purple speckles!?

Arghhhh!!!!

I ran through the dense forest violently snapping twigs and massacring vines. My hands snatched up any plant that was red or purple.

One of these has to be the correct herb...

Right?

This better fix her you stupid bastard doctor.

~short time skip~

"Oi! Trafalgar!" I screamed as I bursted through the foliage of the forest after sprinting all the way back." I got the flowers!" I said past heavy breathes.

My legs sent sand flying everywhere as I ran up to where Misaki lay in the shade of a palm tree. Dropping the bundle of red-purple on the ground, I whipped my head around.

Where the hell is Law?! Did he just leave Misaki alone?

I looked back down at Misaki. Small beads of sweat trickled down from her brow as she shifted in her restless sleep. A small flame crackled nearby in a make shift fire pit, giving off heat. I also noticed a note written in the sand next.

Went to find meat- Ace

A low growl erupted from deep in my throat. He left too?!

Suddenly a loud yawn pierced the air from behind the tree. A straw hat appeared in my sight as Luffy sat up, stretching his arm out as he gazed around confused.

His eyes flicked tiredly to me and then to Misaki. They turned so wide that it looked like they would pop out of his head.

"Misaki!" he screamed in panic as he jumped up, and raced over to her side, "Eustass!" he screamed again, "What's wrong with her?"

"She's sick." I replied.

"Well..What do we do!?" Luffy asked as he started running his hands through his hair.

I sighed in frustration, "I don't know...Law told me to bring these flowers, but he dissappeared!"

Luffy's suddenly leaned down and poked Misaki in her stomach, causing her to shiver unconsiously.

In an instant I held his rubber hand in my grip, crushing it, "What do you think you're doing!"

Luffy frowned, "I was just checking to see if she was okay."

"How does poking her help!" I sneered back.

At that moment, Misaki gave out a small cry and curled up even more, her eyes shut tight as her entire body trembled.

"You made it worse!" I screamed.

Luffy was freaking out , "She's cold....., quick make the fire bigger!" He shouted as he made a mad dash for the nearest timber and promptly threw the branches into the embers.

I found myself running around just as wildly as him. We both probably looked like idiots, but for some reason, I really didn't care.

Law POV

I held the yarrow tightly in my hand as I made my way back to the camp. The sun was making its descent from the highest point, Kid should be back by now.

The sound of shouting filled my ears, causing me to freeze.

"WE NEED MORE! COME ON STRAW HAT! WE'RE LOSING HER!" I heard Kid's voice growl.

Her?

The thought flashed trough my mind. Misaki.

My legs started digging through the ground as I raced back to the shore. She can't be dying! I had made sure her condition was stable before I left...

The first thing I noticed was the massive bonfire that rose up to the sky. Luffy threw another tree into the fire causing sparks to fly everywhere.

Kid was sitting down, holding Misaki, or at least I think it was Misaki.

The body was wrapped tightly around with Kid's fluffy cape, and Luffy's straw hat sat on top her head, slightly covering her face.

Those idiots.

"Law!" I heard Luffy shout as he saw me approaching.

"What are you doing straw hat-ya?" I asked as calmly as I could as I made my way over.

I trudged right up to Misaki and lifted her face.

"She started shivering a few minutes ago," Luffy said as he paced behind me, "and she hasn't stopped!"

Her skin was paler. I scowled, she needs the medicine now.

"Kid, the flowers." I spoke slowly.

Kid stumbled to his feet and grabbed the bundle. I noticed quite a few poisonous plants mixed in with the herbs, but at least he got some of the correct herb.

"Room." I said quietly, bring up my operation dome. Luffy and Kid were forced out of my blue shield as I positioned Misaki in the center.

I heard them both banging loudly on the side, there eyes filled with suspicion, "Just trust me..." I told them with determination in my eyes.

Then I turned back to Misaki.

I will save you

I am a Doctor.

Misaki POV

Ugh...what happened?

I felt a icy chill crawling over my stomach as something sleek tore into my skin.

My breath hitched in my mouth, and a numbness in cased my mind as a warm liquid flowed down my throat.

I tried not to gag at the taste of cherry and sweaty socks.

My eyes cracked open to take in a stary sky as I coughed hard. I looked around confused.

A huge fire lite up the area, with Kid and Luffy sitting slumped against one another in deep sleep in the opposite side.

A motion to my left caught my eyes, as I flickered my head towards it.

I came face to face with Laws dark eyes. They were sunken in deeper than usual, with noticeable rings underneath them and his shaking hands were covered in dark blood.

"That tasted disgusting" I joked weakly as I propped myself up, "Are you trying to kill me Law?"

He just gave a small smirk before pulling me into a tight hug.

I laughed, but my fogged mind still felt like someone had stabbed it a hundred times.

"OI!"called a voice as a lone figure made it's way from the forest. Ace appeared with a huge boar slung over his back." I got food!" he grinned.

"MEEEEAAAAAT!" cheered Luffy who suddenly woke up at the mention of good. He leaped into the air, mouth watering, causing Kid to fall to the ground and jolt awake.

"Stop being loud, bastard!" grumbled Kid as he rubbed his head.

I laughed, I had missed their arguing.

Kid and Luffy whipped around to me as they heard my laughter.

"MISAKI!" they both screamed as they rushed up to me. Luffy immediately tackled me down, much to Law disapproval.

"Careful Straw Hat,-ya, " Law's deep voice threatened, "She's still healing."

Kid's heavy footsteps also grew closer as he walked up to Law, "I guess your not that useless of doctor." I heard him mumble, which was his equivalent of thank you.

"Whatever Eustass-ya." Law replied.

The scent of fresh meat wafted into the air as Ace cooked the boar, causing everyones stomach to simultaneously rumble.

"YOSH!" Exclaimed Luffy as he raised his hands above his head, "Lets eat!"

Ace POV

I burped again as I finished the last rib of the boar. The fire crackled softly, bathing everything in a blanket of orange-red.

I tried to suppress a grin as I stared at the scene before me. Misaki's lay passed out from eating her head settling on Kid's stomach. Luffy and Law lay sprawled out on either side of her, protecting her in a triangular formation.

A sigh escaped my lips as I stared at Luffy, with his straw hat placed lightly on his head as a sleep bubble rose and fell from his nose....little bro....he probably doesn't even know what love.

Then I shifted my gaze slowly to Kid and Law.

Rumors on the Grandline were the Kid was basically a violent time bomb that could explode at a moments notice... And Law....he was an emotionless man who only did what benefitted himself...

But as I watched both of them, I felt that these rumors were far from the truth.

Did you change them Misaki?

These three captains.

Misaki POV

*Thump* * Thump*

I woke up to the sound of a steady heart beat. My eyes fluttered open in surprise as I felt two masses enclosing me from both sides...what is this?!

It took me awhile to overcome my initial shock and realize that it was Luffy and Law, practically suffocating me in a death hug.

My cheeks heated up a bright pink as their warm breath hit my neck evenly.

I immediately squirmed out of their hold, careful not to wake them up.

Ace was resting on a log on the other side of the fire, his chest rising and falling slowly, and Kid lay behind me, scowling at something in his own sleep.

I smiled to myself. He still scowls even in his dreams.

I stretched my arms out as I turned to gaze at the calm sea. A glint caught my vision causing me to stop my stretching.

What is that?

My eyes widened.

"OVER HERE!" I started shouting as the ship came closer, the flag showed the Kid Pirates Jolly roger.

I heard complains from all four boys as they were grudgingly awaken by my screaming but I didn't stop jumping up and down.

A familiar masked man was standing at the stern waving to us with his clawed daggers.

A smile came to my face, Killer.

We were saved.

The ship docked in the sandy beach, and Killer jumped off the gracefully and walked over slowly.
I stopped smiling as I noticed his dreary shoulders, and serious aura.

He had Bad news

Killer's voice was solemn as he settled down in our make shift camp. He started to recount what had occurred after we had escaped from to he war.

"Whitebeard died and Blackbeard stole his devil fruit." Killer finished as he explained everything.

I started intently at the ground, gripping my pale hand tightly. The thoughts of the war brought back hurtful memories. But I wasn't the one who took the news the worse.

Ace fell to his knees, burning the sand with frustration and leaving scorched marks in the ground as he vented his anger. His raven hair fell in tangles over his eyes. "Stupid old man." he mumbled through tears as he slowly got up and wiped them away, steeling his face before heading towards the ship.

"Ace.." I heard Luffy whisper, but Ace kept walking towards Kid's ship.

"What do you think you're doing?" Kid growled as he watched Ace easily leap into the deck of the Pirates ship.

" We're going back." Ace said firmly, "I have someone I need to say goodbye to."

Kid moved forward, fists held high as he angrily sneered" Just who do you think you ar-" I held out my arms to stop him.

"Misaki..." Kid said with surprise and confusion.

I didn't reply. I jumped onto the ship, standing next to Ace as well.

"I also have someone I want to say goodbye to." I whispered, feeling the familiar pang in my heart. I needed to say goodbye to him, to thank him at least...

A figure leaped up next to me, "If Ace and Misaki are going, I'm going to." Luffy said sternly as he crossed his arms as puffed out his cheeks.

Then another figure flashed onto the deck and leaned against the wall, "You'll probably need a Doctor." Law sighed, " Seeing as how you guys always seem to get yourselves injured."

Finally, We all turned back to Kid who still stood on the beach.

He let out a frustrated sigh, "Well it is My ship." He grumbled before also boarding.

A smile grew on my face as I looked at everyone.

"Let's go back to Marineford"I mumbled.

Done with this chapter, :P lol...still trying to overcome the writer block >_<

Anyway, I finished editing the other parts, mainly the first few chapters of the story :P

So....can anyone guess what coming up next?
