What if...?

What if I had told you that I never loved you?
Would that have made everything easier?
Would that have stopped our memories from haunting me?

What if...?

What if I had never met you?

What if...?

What if we hadn't shake hands that day?
Would I have forgotten the night I confessed my love for you?
Would I have then never chased after you, Adored you and Always kept yourself before me?

What if...?

What if I had believed you when said that you didn't deserve me?
Would that have kept me from begging you to stay?
Would that have given me the courage to live without you?

What if...?

What if I wasn't stuck in these what if's-
And actually took the first step towards healing?
Wouldn't that make me stronger?
Strong enough to live without you.
