WHILE EVERYONE in the Valley gets ready for the All Valley tournament.

Luna sits on the living room couch on her phone since her mom gave her and Sam their phones back.

Luna types out before sending it to Hawk wishing him luck for today's tournament despite not going to the said tournament.

Luna sighs while reading on her phone looking up seeing Sam and their dad pouting scrolling through their phones as well.

Amanda walks in noticing the lack of movement between the three.

"So is this the plan for the whole day? Cause I was thinking maybe we could swing by the DMV or maybe a funeral. You know, put a little pep in our step," Amanda voices while the three look up at each other sighing.

"Come on, guys. So your boyfriend turned out to be a jerk and your boyfriend turned out to be the son of your mortal enemy and your best friend confessed his feelings for you," Amanda says looking between Daniel, Luna and Sam who roll their eyes.

Luna sinks in the sofa more at the mention of Hawk confessing his feelings for her a few weeks ago.

"You can't expect me to go to this tournament all by myself. You know how creeped out I get by karate moms." Amanda mumbles with a slight grimace on her face.

"Nobody's making you go." Daniel responds, "LaRusso Auto Group is one of the main sponsors. One of us has to be there. You know what? Fine! Fine," Amanda scoffs lowly walking away not hearing any of them replying back to her.

"I'm gonna be looking at boots on Zappos if anybody needs me." Amanda shrugs walking out of the living room leaving the three of them looking at one another.

"I'll go if you want to go." Sam states, "Same." Luna shrugs, "I didn't say anything." Daniel replies not looking away from his phone.

"I know. Luna and I just know it's your thing." Sam says, "Not this year." Daniel scoffs in response looking at his two daughters looking at each other with a certain look.

"Everyone we know is gonna be there." Luna states, "It is the 50th anniversary." Daniel voices sharing a look with his two daughters.

Before suggesting that the two of them go upstairs and get out of their pyjamas because they're going to the tournament.

AFTER CHANGING and driving as a family, Luna and Sam walk into the building together.

"We don't have to stay long. We'll just check out a few matches. And we'll hit the road. All right?" Daniel suggests walking beside Amanda.

"There he is! Hey, everyone. It's the former champion in the flesh!" George exclaims which the crowd around them starts applauding with smiles on their faces.

"Good to see you, champ." Ron states with a cheerful smile, "Are you sure you don't want me to keep the car running?" Amanda whispers while Sam and Luna look at one another hugging themselves due to nerves.

Daniel greets everyone while Amanda gestures for the seats in the arena where the competition will be.

While Daryl welcomes everyone into the arena, Luna, Sam and the others walk towards their seats.

"Front row seats. The old man still has some pull, huh?" Daniel voices receiving smiles from Luna and Sam.

Anthony sits beside Luna offering her some of his popcorn while Amanda talks to one of the karate mothers Patricia.

"Aw Ant... are you sharing some of your food with me?" Luna wonders.

"You've caught me in a good mood. You also bought this for me so have some." Anthony smiles in response.

Luna nods grabbing a hand full of the popcorn and munching on it while placing the water bottle she bought for herself and another one for Sam in-between them.

Luna frowns overhearing the chants of Cobra Kai coming from the change rooms seeing Miguel leading the group with Hawk behind him.

Sam inhales deeply seeing her ex boyfriend while lacing her fingers with Luna's wanting her sister's comfort during this time.

"You okay?" Luna whispers leaning closer to Sam who nods, "Fine. Thank you." Sam confirms with a slight smile not letting go of Luna's hand in the process.

Miguel and Hawk look over at Sam and Luna in sadness and shock seeing them at the competition.

Luna smiles overhearing Moon cheering on Hawk from up in the stands sitting beside Demetri.

"You've got this! Good luck." Luna mouths looking at the boy who nods with a smile feeling Sam's hand squeezing her anxiously.

"And finally... fighting unaffiliated from North Hills. We have Mr Robby Keene!" Daryl exclaims while Robby runs out from the change rooms past Cobra Kai.

Luna looks at her mother and father shocked overhearing their conversation, "I didn't know he was fighting." Amanda states.

"Neither did I." Daniel responds quietly while Sam looks at Luna's face squeezing her hand again this time comforting her since she was so upset last night due to overhearing something with Robby.

Daniel and Mr Lawrence that she didn't repeat, "All right, folks. Get ready. It's karate time!" Daryl states which makes the audience erupt in cheers.

Sam and Luna watch as Miguel is one of the first fighters scoffing seeing him using their dad's technique.

"I can't believe he stole your move." Sam mutters looking at their father noticing Luna glaring at Johnny and flipping him off once he smirks at them smugly.

"Hey, none of that!" Daniel states with a smirk on his face knowing how protective the brunette is of her family and the history behind it.

"Sorry." Luna responds sitting back in her seat watching Robby gain a point and smiling at her mother seeing Daniel's excitement that said male's moving onto the next round one step closer to the finals.

Hawk also makes it into the next round with cheers erupting from the ground ripping off his black karate gi and rolling his shoulders showing his hawk tattoo on his back.

Luna smiles for her friend's sake looking up at Moon drooling at the sight of her boyfriend flexing in-front of the crowd alongside Demetri grimacing in disgust and confusion.

"And that brings us to the quarterfinals." Daryl states from over the PA system.

Miguel takes on someone from another dojo eventually taking the win and looking over at Sam with a satisfied smirk which makes Sam look away annoyed.

"Ignore him." Luna voices with a wink, "Over on Mat Two. Miguel Diaz makes the semis." Daryl states.

While Miguel stomps his way over to Johnny and the rest of his teammates awaiting for the next match.

Daniel and Luna both watch carefully while Robby fights his opponent eventually also taking the win which makes Luna smile and Daniel cheer silently in his hand with a cheerful hand motion.

Sam smiles at Luna's smile watching the boy fight in-front of her, "Over on Mat Three. Robby Keene advances to the semifinals!" Daryl exclaims while Robby sends a glare Miguel's way.

Sam claps happily while Aisha gains a few points against Xander, "Yes, Aisha!" Sam exclaims with a wide smile while Luna cheers her sister's friend on happily.

Unfortunately Aisha doesn't win and is beaten by Xander who makes sure she is okay but she scoffs rushing off the mat and out of the arena towards the change rooms.

"Go talk to her." Luna suggests nodding to the door Aisha just ran out of, Sam nods with a gentle smile before facing their parents.

"I'll be right back." Sam states standing up, "Okay." Daniel hums while Sam walks over to the door her friend ran out of clearly upset.

"Yes! Let's give it up for all of our competitors. You're all winners. We have seen some great fighting today, haven't we? Huh? You did a great job out there," Daryl voices in the microphone facing the crowd.

"There can be only one true winner... and he is standing on this stage right now. Will it be Miguel Diaz from Cobra Kai Karate?" Daryl questions looking at Miguel bowing at the audience which the crowd cheers for the boy.

"Will it be Hawk. Well, I guess it's just Hawk from Cobra Kai Karate?" Daryl questions reading from the cards in his hands.

Luna cheers for the boy smiling at him looking at her after he bows, "Will it be Robby Keene, unaffiliated?" Daryl wonders while the audience claps for the said male who also bows.

"And last but certainly not least. Last year's champion. Fighting out of Topanga Karate, Xander Stone!" Daryl shouts immediately sending the male into backflips in-front of them.

Luna stares wide eyed at Patricia who stands up cheering loudly for her son.

"I just wanted to say. Even though I love to fight... we all need to fight together against hatred," Xander states taking over the microphone.

Luna frowns looking at her parents and little brother confused before facing the mats once more awaiting for the finals.

"And as I look around this arena... I pray for every race, religion, and gender that we can all live together in peace. Please join me in a moment of silence as we strive to end intolerance in our time." Xander voices.

"Um, okay." Luna whispers bowing her head down in confusion sharing another look with Anthony who's just as confused as her at the mention of a moment in silence.

"All right! First up, Stone versus Diaz! Let's go!" Daryl exclaims into the microphone interrupting the moment of silence getting back to what everyone's here for.

Luna squints at Patricia noticing her wiping away her teary eyes, "Oh my god." Luna mumbles under her breath in disbelief looking at the mat while Miguel and Xander start their round of the competition to move into the finals.

Luna claps as Miguel wins hearing Xander's mother carrying on beside them with a scoff Luna tunes that woman out.

"Miguel Diaz is headed to the finals. Next up, Hawk versus Keene!" Daryl exclaims.

Luna claps feeling conflicted on who to cheer for, her best friend or Robby. Someone she's grown close to the past few days despite the lies of who his father is.

"Oh. Come on. You're not gonna cheer for your own student?" Amanda questions looking at Daniel.

"No. He's not my student," Daniel states with a shake of his head, "Amanda, I can't. The kid lied to me." Daniel mumbles seeing the look his wife is giving him.

"So he lied... so what? He's a kid! Who obviously wasn't in it with Johnny. Or he wouldn't be fighting his students." Amanda voices.

"Mom's right dad." Luna voices with a nod facing the front ready for this round still conflicted on who to go for.

Luna looks at her father noticing his fidgeting seeing Robby get knocked down.

"He's not focused. Remember what you learned, Robby!" Daniel shouts standing up nodding at Robby who's looking at him before looking at Luna sitting beside her father.

Luna firmly nods looking at the male oblivious to the angry glare being sent her way by Hawk feeling rage racing through his bloodstream at the sight of losing her to his opponent.

Luna watches while the two of them fight which leads to Hawk being kicked in the face earning a wince from the said girl.

"Yeah! There you go, Robby!" Daniel cheers jumping out of his seat, "Aw, that was sick!" Anthony exclaims happily seeing Luna looking at him with a smile.

"That's great, huh?" Daniel repeats with a smile looking at Luna sharing a confident expression with his daughter.

Luna gasps sitting up and out of her seat seeing Hawk kick Robby in the back after a face to face conversation sending Robby onto the ground clutching his shoulder in pain.

"What the hell is that?" Daniel scoffs, Johnny runs onto the mat towards Robby.

"That's enough! Illegal contact. You're disqualified!" the referee snaps, "Are you okay?" Johnny wonders panicked.

"Get the hell away from me!" Robby snaps, "Hey. Back on your side." the referee orders pushing Johnny away from Robby still on the floor.

"What the hell are you thinking, man?" Johnny exclaims capturing Luna and Daniel's attention.

"What was I supposed to do... be a pussy?" Hawk taunts looking from Johnny and Luna with a smirk on his face.

"You all right, kid?" the referee questions helping Robby off to floor, "I'm fine." Robby voices walking off the mat still holding onto his injured shoulder.

"With that disqualification. Keene earns a trip to the finals. We'll see him back here after a short break." Daryl explains through the PA system.

Daniel gets up sharing a look with Amanda following after Robby into the change rooms seeing Luna also looking in that direction worriedly.

"Go!" Amanda urges gesturing to follow after her father in which Luna nods with a smile.

Before jogging after her father not seeing Hawk watching her every movement with a pissed off expression on his face.

Luna walks into the changing room overhearing her dad and Robby talking.

"Okay. Ew. Gross." Luna grimaces inhaling the scent of sweat from the changing area knowing she shouldn't be in here but smiles at her father already looking at her.

"I'm sorry I lied to you, Mr LaRusso, Lu. I just wanted to get back at him." Robby voices softly now including the brunette girl in the conversation.

"I know. Believe me so does this one as well," Daniel mumbles motioning to Luna leaning against the tiled wall.

"But you're never gonna find balance that way, you can't let that bad blood change who you are. I'm not saying you need to like the guy, I know I never will. Lulu included. But... he... he is your father," Daniel explains looking at Robby listening to him fully.

"And believe me, you're lucky to have one, you just got to try to remember, he's... he's not a monster. He's just a guy with a lot of demons. Mr. Miyagi always told me there's no such thing as a bad student... only a bad teacher and your dad had the worst teacher there ever was," Daniel states firmly.

Luna nods agreeing with her father from all the stories he told her and Sam over the years.

"It sent him down a wrong path. But you don't have to go down that path. Do you understand? You don't have to ever become... him," Daniel says.

"Trust me. You let go of all that anger... and I guarantee you, no matter what happens tonight. You go home feeling great. Hey Lulu? Fighting with anger just gets you into trouble." Daniel voices looking at Luna smirking at her father.

"Yes dad." Luna laughs noticing Robby staring at her before exhaling due to the pain.

"I don't know about that. My shoulder's killing me. I... I don't think I can fight." Robby explains holding onto his injured shoulder.

"Well, we'll see about that." Luna states with a smirk seeing her father doing the famous hand rub magic trick Mr Miyagi did on him years and years ago.

"Medic!" Daniel shouts which Luna skips into a standing position walking towards the door.

"Is there a medic?" Luna shouts loudly which makes a medic walk towards the change room going inside and checking out Robby's shoulder.

Luna frowns noticing Sam, her mom and Anthony walking out of the arena with a walk clearly showing she's upset about something.

"Sammy, you okay?" Luna questions snapping her sister out of her zone, "Yeah. I just wanna go home." Sam confirms.

"Oh. Did you want me to come with you?" Luna wonders worriedly, "No. No. you stay with dad. I just need some time alone. I'll be okay." Sam explains with a soft smile that doesn't take over her face.

"Okay. Well, text me when you get home so I know you're safe? Please." Luna suggests.

"Of course, Lulu." Sam chuckles leaving the building with their mother and brother.

Daniel walks back into the arena towards his seat seeing Luna waiting for him with a smile on her face.

"I wasn't gonna leave you here alone." Luna explains seeing Daniel smile and kiss her on her forehead, "How's Robby doing?" Luna questions.

"Dislocation in his shoulder but his gonna fight," Daniel responds seeing Daryl returning to the mat.

"I'm also gonna coach him. Is that okay with you?" Daniel questions looking at his eldest daughter, "Of course!" Luna nods firmly.

"This is it, folks. The moment we've all been waiting for, the final match to determine who will be victor and champion," Daryl exclaims facing Cobra Kai.

"Will it be Miguel Diaz from Cobra Kai Karate?" Daryl questions, "Will it be Robby Keene, unaffili—" Daryl voices only for a referee to quickly interject.

Luna smiles seeing her dad walk onto the mat and stand beside Robby.

"Daniel LaRusso's gonna coach? Daniel LaRusso is gonna coach!" Daryl exclaims shocked.

"I'm sorry, folks. There's been a change, Robby Keene will now be fighting for Miyagi-Do Karate with former champion Daniel LaRusso as his sensei!" Daryl voices in which the audience immediately start applauding alongside Luna who cheers loudly.

"How about that? Good luck, gentlemen!" Daryl says walking off the mat towards the corner of the room.

Robby looks over at Luna sitting in her seat smiling at him already while Daniel and Johnny talk in the middle of the mat.

"Go Robby!" Luna shouts from her seat seeing him get a kick in sending Miguel to the ground with an annoyed grunt.

"Keene and Miyagi-Do get the first point." Daryl explains through the PA system as round two starts.

After a while of kicks being thrown and shoves Miguel gets a hit on Robby sending him to the floor with a grimace due to Miguel kicking his injured shoulder.

"Diaz and Cobra Kai with the point. Now it's 1-1!" Daryl explains while Luna watches with an annoyed glare at Miguel due to him hitting Robby's injury.

"That makes it two points for Diaz," Daryl shouts making the points 2-1 while Robby grunts in pain on the mat.

Daniel looks over at Luna watching the match deeply, "Time! Time." Daniel exclaims making a T shape with his hands wanting a quick break to make sure Robby's okay.

After making sure Robby is okay, the match continues with Luna watching on the stands noticing the blackout look in Miguel's eyes seeing nothing past them but anger and rage.

Miguel sends his feet into the mat trying to stomp on Robby multiple times while Luna watches Johnny noticing his face is actually worried over his son.

Robby grunts sending a two legged kick into Miguel knocking him down shocking Daniel— who looks at him beyond proud.

"How about that? A two-legged kick!" Daryl exclaims stunned at what he just saw.

Robby walks over to Miguel offering a hand to help him up in which Miguel pulls roughly on the arm resulting in pulling on Robby's injured one knocking him to the ground.

"Watch it, Diaz!" the referee shouts, "Yeah!" Hawk exclaims cheering on his mate who's being dirty during the fight.

"Ref! Come on!" Daniel shouts pissed off stepping on the mat, "That's one warning for unsportsmanlike contact." the referee warns while the crowd boos around the arena.

Luna jumps out of her seat walking to the side of the stage where her father's been standing.

"Robby, come here. I'm gonna tell him to end it." Daniel voices hating the idea of his injury getting worse.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no. No... let me finish!" Robby pleads looking at the man and noticing Luna stood behind her father with an anxious look on her face.

"Okay. Just... be careful." Daniel begs seeing Robby nod at him before looking at Luna again seeing her nod with her arms folded over her chest due to her anxiety.

"Whoever wins the next point will be our new champion!" Daryl states firmly while Miguel and Robby stand in the middle of the mat.

"It's 2-2. Next point wins. Okay, good luck to both of you." the referee states signalling for them to start fighting which both do eventually leading Miguel into grabbing ahold of Robby's leg punching into his thigh and shoulder knocking him to the ground.

"Point! Winner!" the referee calls out holding up Miguel's arm in the air while Cobra Kai teammates run onto the man cheering on their friend.

Robby walks over to Daniel holding onto his shoulder in pain, "Who saw that coming, ah? I know I didn't, without further ado. Let me present the trophy to this year's new champion. Miguel Diaz and the Cobra Kai dojo!" Daryl states in a yell handing Miguel the championship trophy.

"Yeah!" Miguel roars loudly in celebration while Luna stands off to the side grabbing her bag from her seat.

"Is there anything you want to say to the people, son?" Daryl questions handing off the microphone to Miguel.

"I just want to say that if it wasn't for my sensei, I wouldn't be here. So this is for Sensei Johnny Lawrence and Cobra Kai!" Miguel shouts which sends the whole Cobra Kai members chanting their name multiple times around the arena happily.

Daniel and Robby walk over towards where Luna's standing waiting for them, "Robby, I—I'm... I'm sorry." Johnny says apologetically.

"It's okay, Dad. It's okay." Robby says quietly while Johnny looks down at the floor sadly and guiltily.

Hawk walks over to Luna seeing her waiting for her dad, "So you came after all?" Hawk states.

"Yeah. I did." Luna confirms with a nod feeling the tension between them rise not sure whether it's sexual or just the usual awkwardness between the two of them.

"So you come when he asks. But when I ask... it's a no?" Hawk questions looking over at Robby and Daniel walking towards her.

"I came with my parents, Sam and my little brother. I didn't come for him. Nor you." Luna snaps anger laced in her tone at the suggestion.

"But you were cheering him on the whole time and not me?" Hawk frowns.

"Yeah. Because I didn't purposely attack someone when their back was turned and dislocate their shoulder!" Luna responds folding her arms over her chest.

"He shouldn't have said what he said then." Hawk shrugs not bothered by hurting the boy.

"You've changed and I don't think I can be friends with this version of you anymore Eli— Hawk. Or whatever you're calling yourself now." Luna states looking away seeing her dad looking at her worried.

Said girl nods silently telling him she's okay and to wait for her outside in which Daniel nods leading Robby outside.

"So that's it? This is done? You're choosing him over me?" Hawk scoffs watching her dad walk out with Robby.

"I'm choosing myself. Not you. Not Robby. I'm choosing my happiness. Instead of watching someone I love to pieces turn into a bully in-front of my eyes," Luna explains looking into Hawk's eyes seeing them growing teary at the mention of her loving him.

"Besides, you're with Moon and she doesn't deserve someone who's in love with someone else anyways. So goodbye." Luna mumbles taking a step away from the male only for him to gently grab onto her arm.

"Please don't leave me." Hawk begs tearfully, "I don't want too. But this... isn't you. This isn't the same Eli that I fell in love with. I need time and I that means away from you. Please don't call or text me. Go find your girlfriend." Luna voices taking her hand out of his breaking both of their hearts even further then.

Before walking away and out of the building seeing her dad and Robby standing together beside Daniel's vehicle waiting for her.

"Lulu, you okay?" Daniel questions noticing her red eyes, "I think I just broke up with my best friend." Luna responds with a sniffle.

Daniel exhales sadly knowing about their complicated friendship for a few weeks now.

LUNA DOESN'T talk much once arriving home running into the house and up into her room with tear filled eyes, Amanda calls out for her worried seeing her daughter crying.

Amanda frowns noticing Luna coming downstairs from her room with red rimmed eyes and walking outside towards the dojo.

Luna walks into the dojo seeing Sam doing her kick flips and side flips.

"Woah. You've still got it!" Luna states interrupting her sister who gasps in fright.

"Jesus Lulu! You scared me! Wait, are you okay?" Sam frowns noticing her red eyes.

"Mhm hmm." Luna answers biting her lip avoiding releasing a sob.

Sam hears the intake of breath Luna does embracing her in a much needed hug, "What happened Lulu?" Sam questions quietly.

"Eli and I... our friendships over. Plus I accidentally admitted to loving him. All because I was cheering on Robby in the finals." Luna explains sitting on the floor in front of Sam.

"I'm sorry Lulu." Sam responds, "Came out here to swim but I saw the dojo's light on so I figured you were in here." Luna voices seeing Sam light up at the mention of a swim.

"Let's go for a swim! I'm sweaty as hell and need to relax." Sam chuckles getting up from the floor and running into the house changing into her bikini.

Before joining Luna in the pool for a late night swim swimming until they see their father pull into the driveway with Robby getting out of the car to stay in the guest bedroom for the night.

"You okay now Lulu?" Daniel wonders seeing Luna's smile laughing about something Sam said.

"Yeah. Thanks for dropping me home." Luna voices with a smile, "Of course kiddo. Anyways, I'm gonna go inside and sleep and set the guest room up for Robby. Night girls." Daniel says.

"Goodnight dad. Night Robby." Luna responds, "Goodnight." Sam smiles splashing Luna with a massive wave of water hearing Luna gasp shocked.
