"Kaida, stay here, please." The raven-haired male said, a look of concern on his face.
"But Kiiden, why..?"
"Because if you move from there, they'll kill you. Please, stay there."
"But what about you?"
"I'll get rid of them, and we can leave."
"Al-Alright.."
"Are you tired?"
She nodded slowly.
He took off his large jacket, and placed it on her. "Here, so you aren't cold."
She nodded, smiling. "Kiiden, I love you... Please, make sure we make it out of here."
"I swear, we'll both get through this."
Kiiden watched he red-haired female fall asleep, and then ran off in the other direction.
He got almost to the edge of the forest, not seeing a single other wolf. He heard a faint sound, but couldn't make out what it was.
He decided to go back to where Kaida was.
"Kaida?" He looked around, hearing nothing.
He walked to where she was hiding, and then stopped.
He fell to his knees and looked at her, covered in his jacket, scratches everywhere.
"Kai...da...?" The poor boy had no idea how to feel sadness. All he felt was rage and anger. Hatred for whatever had done this to her.
He swore he would avenge her.
No matter what.
