(Y/n's POV)

My mind was racing as we each witnessed the fireworks set off above us. "The humans brought a cure bomb?" We see the hummingbirds depart "Hummingbombers, let's ghost this party!" The gang took off into the sky as I called out to them "Wait, STOP!"

Kipo yelled "Get out of the sky! Don't let the embers touch you!" But it was too late...it got one of them as it touched their wing and transformed back into a normal hummingbird. "Run for your life!" Label screamed as everyone scattered to safety.

Hugo picked me up and ran away to find cover for us. I noticed Dave was still not moving from his spot as I yelled "Dave! Move you idiot or you're gonna get touched by the cure!" He looked in my direction as soon as I said that, but thankfully Jamack came running up from behind and grabbed him, taking them to shelter.

I hear Emilia's voice as she stared at Kipo  "You did it, Kipo. You brought every mute in Las Vistas together." She smirked "Thanks for the help." Kipo bare her teeth as she called out to us "Everyone, get under me!" She transformed into the Mega Jaguar as we all went beneath her.

But there was beginning to not be enough room when Hugo tried to squeeze us in, but instead left me a spot to fit as he shielded me as best he could. I shook his arm "Hugo, no! I'm sure we can make some room here just don't expose yourself!"

He turned to me "(Y/n), there isn't anymore room! And don't worry, love. I'm willing to give up anything for you....even if it means turning back into a voiceless animal." My heart clenched as his words touched me with pain, but also joy.

Embers started to fall continuously as he screamed while trying to dodge them as best as he could. I hear yelling from the distance as I see Lio and the other humans grab the table sheets and moved to us as he and Song quickly covered my Hugo, now fully protected.

I snuck into the sheets as I cling to his arm. He gave me sympathetic smile as he nuzzled my nose. We look out to see every mute who wasn't protected be covered with sheets or by the humans themselves.

Once it stopped Kipo turned back to normal as she asked "Is everyone else OK?" Benson called out to her "Kipo, look! Prahm worked." The mutes thanked everyone who helped them as they hugged one another. Song and Lio joined in our hug as we smiled happily.

Once we uncovered me and Hugo walked up behind Kipo as she stared at Emilia who came up to her. "It's over, Emilia." She said determinedly. Emilia frowned "The mission is never over." She shook her head "We don't want the world to go back to the way it was."

We wanna move forward together. This could be a new age, an age of Wonderbeasts." She then smiled at her "And you could join us." Emilia balled her fist in anger "No! If I can't restore the old world, I'll just have to wipe this one clean and start over."

She took out a syringe as the three of us gasped. She looked to me, eyes full of hatred and sadness. "I didn't want to have to do this, but you've left me with no choice. Just like you left me with no choice when I had to kill my own brother!"

Emilia pointed directly at me screaming "IT WAS ALL YOUR FAULT! YOU AND THESE STUPID MUTES TOOK EVERYTHING AWAY FROM ME! IF YOU HAD BOTH JUST DISAPPEARED HE WOULD STILL BE HERE!" Her body trembled in anger as she glared at me "I should've killed you that very first day..."

She held up the syringe high in the air "Nothing is gonna hold me back now from destroying each and every one of you as I take this world back!" Before we could say anything she stabbed it into her arm as a wave of  teal smoke surrounded her within seconds.

There in front of us....was Emilia's Mega form. She had two heads and four arms as tusks grew from her teeth along with a flat tail she carried. She roared as the crowd starts to panic. Kipo turned to us "Get everyone out of here! Now!"

Emilia started smashing things with her feet and was about to smash some of the people and mutes until Kipo transformed and went one on one with her. She bit her arm as she flung her across the waters making her fall.

Benson called everyone to go through to get to the old burrow as we did what we were told until I looked back. Hugo notices as I had stopped myself and looked at everyone "We have to go back. I have a feeling Kipo won't be able to take on Emilia alone."

Some of them coward in fear saying things like "But it's dangerous!" "Kipo can handle it!" "I don't want to get crushed!" I frowned at them as I gestured behind me "Kipo needs our help! She's always been there for us and took the time to make us a beautiful party that's now being trashed by Emilia."

I stood there confidently "So, whether y'all are with me or not I am going back in there to help my friend! Why? Because that's what families do. They protect and support each other through the worst possible situations!" I turned around and started walking away.

I hear someone call out to me "Wait. We're coming, too!" I look back to see Hugo, Jamack, Lio and Song, Hoag, Label, Molly and Zane. I smiled at them as Hugo came up and wrapped his hand around mine smiling at me. "You're right. We help our family."

I led us as we walked through to the other side and see Benson and Dave. "We're not leaving. We have to help Kipo." Jamack gave me a worried expression "Yeah, and fast. But how?" Benson grinned at us mischievously "I have an idea..."

(Moments later...)

"I hate this, I hate this, I hate this, I hate this, I hate this!" Jamack screamed as he rode on the baby Mega Bunny as the everyone else rode on the Megas as well. "Suck it up, Jamack!" I yelled as I rode the White Mega Dog. Everyone charged at her, bashing against her body as she stumbles and falls.

Jamack had the right idea of bringing in Momma Bunny as she ram right into Emilia knocking her on her back. We were all doing good for the most part, trying to give Kipo enough time to recover. But somehow Emilia's able to withstand the power hits we take on her.

I watched as Hugo, Song, and Lio made one final push as they rode the Mega Dog and had him ram into her as they held her down on the ground. She pushed them off as I see my family fly off into the water. Thankfully the narwhals brought them to shore.

I turn to see Kipo struggling to get up as she kept getting hit by Emilia repeatedly in the face. Tears start to brim on my eyes as it kept getting harder for her to stand. I immediately rushed towards Emilia as I hopped off the Mega and latched onto Emilia's face.

I attempted to claw at skin, but there wasn't a single scratch. I pierced my sharp fangs into her but retracted back when I felt her skin was protected by thick armor. I see her giant hands trying to get me off as I crawled up to her face and messed with her eyes.

She roared as I kept hitting it and clawing at it until she was able to grab me and threw me a few hundred yards away. I landed in the water and swam back up as I coughed up the water I swallowed. I swam back to shore as Hugo hurriedly came to my side and helped me stand.

He suddenly gasped as he stared up. I turned my head around and see Emilia coming towards us as she gets ready to pound us. Everyone screams as they take cover, Hugo picks me up and runs away, and just as she was about to hit us I see Kipo instinctively shield us as the full force of her punch knocked her out completely.

"Kipo!" We all said as gasps were heard. We watched Kipo's lifeless body fall as we ran to her. Emilia walked to grab a building as I tried to wake Kipo up. Song and Lio were frantically trying to wake their daughter up "Honey, get up. You have to wake up!"

"Come on, Kipo, please!" Tears poured down my face as we kept trying to wake Kipo up, but to no avail. I see Emilia carry a giant broken building as she walked towards us carrying an evil smile on her face. I balled my fists in anger and frustration.

All of these feelings started to overwhelm me as I stare at Kipo's body and Emilia's. I look up at her as I walked forward a few steps "You say it's my fault....that I killed Liam..." I suddenly screamed "BUT I WASN'T THE ONE THAT CRUSHED HIS DREAM AND SHOT HIM THROUGH THE HEART! THAT. WAS. YOU."

"You hurt everyone I ever cared about...you cured my friends, you threatened my family, you experimented on my fiancé, you knocked out my sister, and you...you.." my eyes glowed with anger and pain "YOU. MURDERED. MY. BEOTHER!!!"

Darkness...

That was all I saw before I was enveloped with a yellow smoke...

I looked around and noticed I was alone, no one was here with me. I gazed at the ground that was partially covered with water. I look at my feet and suddenly gasped as I covered my mouth. My reflection wasn't that of myself anymore, but of something monstrous...

I touched my face as did the reflection and saw I was a blue monkey. Although it looked more like a spider monkey now that I see I have an extra set of smaller eyes on top of my big ones. I looked similar to Song's form, but was a tad bit smaller in height, and Song had six arms with a single tail...

.....I had eight with two tails.

My eyes were that same bright yellow as I had seen before as I looked up and noticed a fogged window of what was actually going on outside. But then I realized that I was seeing through my Mega's vision. I stared down at everyone who looked shocked and surprised, but without a moment of hesitation I used this opportunity to get a direct jaw hit on Emilia.

She fell back which caused her to drop the torn building as it crashed against the ground. I snarled at her as I pounded my fist repeatedly on the ground. A roar escaped me as I urged her to get back up so I could beat her ass again.

She sat up and wiped her mouth giving me the most deadliest of the glares as she stood back up and got in her fighting stance as I did the same. We stared down hard at each other, wondering who was gonna make the first move as we breathed heavily.

Emilia took the first move as she dashed toward me with a closed fist as I dodged and tackled her to the ground, I used my many arms to hold her down as I punched her hard repeatedly on her faces. She roared in pain as I dug my fangs deep in her neck, mauling it as blood trickled down her neck.

I was lucky enough to rip pieces of the skin off before she turned me over and started to hit me back. I did as best I could to block her hits as she suddenly grabbed two of my arms, each in her hands and bit the other remaining two. I yelped in agonizing pain as she head-butted me to keep me dazed and still.

She got her tusks ready to strike me in the skull, but as I was struggling for a way to break free I felt something inside me start to come up through my throat as I spit out....webs? Yep, it was web. I spatted it all over Emilia's face roaring in irritation as she got off me and tried getting it off.

Now that she was distracted by my webbing I used my tails to trip her and roundhouse kicked her in the stomach that sent her flying. I charged up to her just as she was turned around on her feet and jumped on her back.

This time I decided to go for her other neck as I bite down hard hearing her wail out in sheer pain as she tried getting me off. I held my ground as my grip tightened around her head as I used my tails to choke her out.

I managed to rip off more fleshes of her skin as blood spilled out, some pouring from my mouth. But in a surprising attempt she was able to grab me and flip me over on my back. It's like she had this extra power boost put in her. I tried to blind her again with my web, but she easily ripped them off as she gave me a punch in the nose knocking me back down.

She grabbed my tails and started swinging me in circles making my head dizzy as she flung me across the sea. I toppled over some more buildings as I got cut on my arm from the sharp corners. I look up to see Emilia running at me as I pushed myself to get up.

Luckily she was able to miss a punch that I blocked as she hit the building behind me. We started going at it with our hits and kicks, we were both skilled in combat. That's probably why Kipo wasn't able to beat her. But when it comes to who's done it the longest, Emilia had the upper hand.

I was too distracted to notice that Emilia upercutted me with her shin as it knocked me back and forcefully stabbed me with her tusks on the side of my stomach. I screamed out in agony as I felt her take them out and I looked down to see blood coming out.

I bit my cheek as I growled at her as I spit out web near her ankles as I used the back of my hand and slapped her so hard followed by a fist to the throat which made her stumbled. With her legs intertwined with my webbing she lost balance and fell to to the ground.

I cowered over my stomach as I tried to stop the bleeding using my webs to cover the holes. I hissed in pain as I tried not to think about the feeling. I look over and decided to surprise tackle her, but what I didn't expect was for her to aim her tusks at me as she readied to strike.

I immediately thought this was the end for me. I don't think I could withstand another stab wound from her. I closed my eyes waiting for the impact but nothing came. I open them to see I landed on the ground. I turned my head to see something I didn't expect to see.

In the blink of an eye it was Kipo who dragged Emilia away by her tail as she ferociously shook her back and forth like a rag doll. She flung her a few hundred yards away as she ran up to see if I was I OK. I nodded at her as we both look to see Emilia get back up once again, rage consuming her as she sprints towards us.

Me and Kipo gave a simple nod at each other as we ran after her. I quickly spitted out a bunch of web as Kipo held one end in her while I held onto the other in my hand. We see Emilia raise both her fists as we ducked under her, avoiding them completely as she abruptly stops.

We start circling around her, tying her up with webs as they become more resilient. Enough to where she couldn't break out of them. Once we tied her all the way up to her chest I used all my might and willpower to punch her using all eight of my fists as I knocked her in the air with my last one, uppercutting her.

Kipo turned her to her and used her powerful legs and kicked her torso that sent her flying backwards as she stayed there, not moving a muscle. I breathed heavily as I turn to the shore to see everyone was safe. Wolf ran up to us "Look! She's escaping!"

We glanced behind us to see Emilia slowly break out of the webbing and got up slowly yet timidly as she cowers in fear and runs away. "Kipo, (Y/n). Where's Emilia going?" Benson looked just as confused "I don't know. She just ran away."

Song spoke "Go after her..." she, Lio and Hugo stared up at my now distressed state. I wasn't able to change back like how Kipo did. I was so caught up with the fight between me and Emilia that I forgot I literally transformed into a Mega!

"We'll handle things here." I crouched down as I covered my head, body shaking consistently as the fear of never turning back stayed in the back of my mind. I hear Kipo's footsteps fade away knowing she and our friends left to go find Emilia. Everyone else stayed with me.

I hear Hugo's voice as he talked to Song "Can't you do something about this, Song? Why isn't she able to turn back?!" "I don't know...! When I was the Mega Momkey I wasn't able to turn back because Emilia brainwashed me, but I was still "me".

I felt her small hand touch my fur "It's possible that her sudden change was out of impulse, but she only did it to protect us. As long as she stays with us and doesn't get lost too deep within herself, I'm sure she'll be fine."

I lifted up my head as they saw my dried-eyed tears and lowered my body down to their level. Hugo came up to my face as he gently touched my nose. He gave me a sad smile until his eyes suddenly shot wide open.

"That's it.." he whispered. "It's the anchor!" Song looked at him confused "The anchor?" He smiled at her "Yes! Back when I was about to be crowned emperor, I overheard Kipo's friends talking about it."

He continued to explain "Apparently it's something that binds them to their human side, so that they wouldn't stay a beast forever, and it worked." Jamack walked next to him "OK, so, that just means we need to find (Y/n) her anchor. No biggie." He laughed nervously.

"Does...anyone have my ideas on what it might be?" He asked them as they pondered some ideas. Lio turned to Song "We've known her the longest, so I think it's safe to assume we, her family and friends, are her anchor."

Song smiled brightly at him holding his hand "That's right! We're always there for her when she needs it, and right now she needs us more than ever." She went over and placed her hand on Hugo's shoulder "Hugo, aside from us, you're the only one who has any real chance of getting her back."

"She needs you the most right now, Hugo. We'll be here to back you up." He gave her a simple nod and smile as I dropped my hand for him to hop on as I slowly lifted him up to my face. I grunted softly at him as I carefully nuzzled him.

"I know you're scared, love, but it's going to be OK. I'm right here." I smiled at him, gazing into his eyes as I could feel a sense of calmness wash over me. He always knew how to make me feel calm and safe.

"Now (Y/n), I'm going to need you dig deep in yourself and try turning back. Let us be your anchor, the anchor that defines you who you are on the inside. Come on, (Y/n)! I believe in you." I closed my eyes taking a deep relaxing breath as memories start to fill up my mind.

The day I met Liam as we played on all the fun games at RatLand, moved in next to the Oaks at our old burrow, met Hugo for the first time and gave him his first gift, we got separated where I met new friends, reunited with my love, brought Song back, Hugo's proposal...

All these memories flooded my mind as I sighed with content. I knew I wasn't going to lose hope even if I was stuck being a Mega forever. Now that my body's relaxing more and more I start to feel something churning inside me, faintly there but present.

Kipo and them made it back, without Emilia surprisingly, but none of it mattered now. Emilia got what she deserved, so she wouldn't be missed at all. Kipo stared at me revealing her bright smile as she started humming a tune.

But just when I couldn't expect anything more wholesome she started to slowly sing a familiar lullaby song as she held hands with our friends who swayed to the rhythm.

Kipo: 🎶 We may not have sunshine
Or starlight or weather 🎶

Lio wrapped his arm around her and Song's.

Lio: 🎶 But we've got each other 🎶

Song: 🎶 And that's even better 🎶

Everyone joined in as they sang along with them.

I closed my eyes as big tear drops start to fall down my eyes as I feel Hugo leaned his forehead against my nose as he sang to me softly, yet sweetly..

Hugo suddenly yelled as he fell to the ground. My Mega form disappeared and I was suddenly back to my normal self. I helped Hugo stand to his feet as I immediately embraced him with a hug as I whispered "Is how we should be.."

The sudden cheers got my attention as everyone ran to me and hugged us both. We won. We were finally free from Emilia's terror and could now live out our lives in peace. Kipo congratulated me "Look who's a hotshot now with her Mega form! With enough practice I'm sure you'll be a great protector."

I smiled at her "Thanks for helping me out there." She patted me on the back "No problem, sis." I thanked everyone who helped me, especially Hugo who was just relieved I was OK. I turn to Kipo and them "It's time, guys. Bring everyone here."

They nodded as they did what I asked and brought everyone from the old burrow to the crashed out party. I silenced them all as I make an announcement "Now that Emilia is no longer a threat to us, I have wonderful news about the mutes that got cured."

I held my chest taking a deep breath "Kipo's DNA was the cure. And it turns out my DNA has the mutation cells that can un-cure them! Don't you see? I can bring everyone back!" Every mute and human gasped as they shouted with glee knowing they were gonna get their families back.

I knew with a lot of hard work and blood loss I was going to be a wreck for the next few weeks trying to bring everyone back. But it'll be worth it in the end..

(Two weeks later)

After days of donating my blood to make the un-cure we were able to mutate all the mutes who were cured back into their original selves. Everyone literally cried when Yumyan returned home wondering why they were tearing up in front of him.

Apparently they don't remember when they got cured and that it was all just a blur for them. Label reunited with Cartoon, G.Billions got B. Billions back, Camille came back to Cotton who showered me with praises and hugs. Everyone was so happy and excited that they threw a glamorous party to celebrate our victory.

Also! With the insane amounts of work we had to go through we asked Song if she wanted her mute powers back. She agreed. Knowing she can help protect us and get on the fun side of being a Mega with her girls is also a bonus.

I sat with Hugo at one of the tables as we relaxed and drank while watching everyone dance and have fun. I look up at him "Hugo?" "Hmm?" He said as he placed his wine glass down. "Did you ever think we would end up here? Like this, all happy and hopeful." He chuckled showing me his handsome smile.

He wrapped his arm around my shoulder "Not at first, but...that's what happens when you wish for something good to come. Because even though you may not see it happening in the future, deep down you still hold on to that wish."

"And that's the kind of hope you keep with you." I give him a round of applause "Well said, hun. You should make a speech like that at our wedding." He furrowed his brow "Speaking of, when do you think we should have the wedding?"

SLAM!

We were both startled to see all the girls come sit at our table as they gave us intense stares followed by wide smiles. Kipo was the first to speak up as she rubbed her hands together "Did someone saaaaay a "WEDDING?!" I give them a slight nervous nod as I felt the air become thick.

They all screamed out their girlish, fangirl cry as they immediately start coming up with ideas and stuff as me and Hugo looked at each other in instant regret as w were suddenly dragged from our table and being taken away by the girls.
