(Hi everyone, yes I am back! I'm not dead lol sorry for the long wait, I had to deal with real life things/my sickness you know how it is >~> anyway, let's finish this story! Also you're free to play the music intro whenever you want now, not sure if you guys liked it or not that I did that ^^)

This will take place with Kipo and her friends to see how they're holding up..

(Kipo's POV)

I popped my body out from the bush as soon as Wolf gave the signal (I think..?) so I asked her in a whisper. "I forgot what the signals mean; is that "danger" or "no danger"?" Benson and Dave popped their heads out too, making a bit of noise as Dave laughed nervously at us.

Wolf groaned "Just, come on." With that we all ran silently to her as we stopped near the corner of a building. I raised my fist in the air "All right, everyone. Operation: Find my Parents' Old Burrow." I lowered my arm back down "Where do we find it? How do we find it? These are all questions I have." My face softened as I thought about (Y/n). "I wish (Y/n) were here with us...she'd know what to do."

Everyone made a sad expression when I mentioned her. And even though it's been a few days..

We all miss her.

Especially me. I mean, come on. After revealing we had the same kind of mute powers I only felt THAT much more closer to her. And now that she's gone I feel like a part of me is missing. Hopefully we'll find her and my burrow to rekindle who I am on the inside.

Benson got us out of our deep thoughts as he asked us "How do we find a burrow so secret not even the all-seeing goats know where it is?" Dave suddenly thought of something "Oh, oh, oh, oh! I know who could help us. She's a dangerous mute with short arms and even a shorter fuse, but she knows every secret in the city. Cappuccino."

My face brightened up "Oh, where can we find her?" "She runs a restaurant called Brunchington Beach. Best lunch in the city!" He said confidently, arms both crossed. "What's a brunch?" Wolf asked him and Dave happily answered, "It's breakfast and lunch, combined into one single meal." I watched as Dave hopped off the car and heard Benson make a quiet remark about Dave's definition of "Brunch".

He faced us as he continued talking more about this Cappuccino girl. "Only thing is, you gotta follow Cappuccino's three rules. One: everybody pays their own bill. Two: bills are paid with information. If you wanna trade, you better have something juicy. Or else..."

Wow, that's some rules she has.

"Let's go!" Dave cheered as he started to walk there until Wolf blocked him with stalky. "You said there were three rules." I eyed Dave suspiciously as he looked uneasy at Wolf. "Uh, the third rule is probably something like, "wash your hands." I don't remember. It'll be fine. Come on." Benson spoke up as well all turned to him "Uh, guys, I know he's my best friend and all, but following a Dave plan usually gets pretty weird."

"Hey! I would die for everyone here." He turned his back on us "And I have. Many, many times."

I mean..he's not wrong.

"So, if no one else has a better idea..." he continued to walk away as Benson let out a big sigh, eventually following him. "This is definitely gonna get weird." I begin to follow when Wolf caught my attention as she spoke to me "You just figured out how to put your paws away. You sure you're ready for this?"

I rubbed the side of my arm "No. But what other option do we have?" I then wrap my arms around my stomach as I feel it rumble continuously. "Plus, I'm really, really hungry." We suddenly hear squeaks coming from a far distance as me and Wolf both looked at each other and nodded as we ran to catch up to the rest.

(Almost near our destination)

We began walking up a large hill as Benson brought up the plan again. "I'm getting weird vibes, Dave. You sure this place is safe?" We stopped for a moment as we stared at Dave who reassured us that he was almost certain it was safe. "I mean, like, right at this moment, maybe 60, but it can go back up. But right now we at 45."

...almost.

We all suddenly gasped as we heard a voice singing what sounds like my name being called. "Is someone singing for me?" Curious we headed straight for the sound and hid behind a van as we peaked around the corner to see these big headed costumes singing and dancing. We watch carefully as the scene unfolds.

"Everyone stop!" The one dressed like me shouted as the rest formed a line. "Billions, you're dragging. And you missed your costume change. Honestly, it's like we haven't been rehearsing for the past three days!" He exasperated as I turn to everyone.

"Wait. Is that really me?" I whispered to them "Uh, if that's you, then is that thing supposed to be me?" Benson pointed out as we all look towards the mascot dressed as him. "And Benjamin..." the leader sighed in disappointment "your character is...afraid!" He said as he acted it out. "And I know you're wearing a mask, but show some emotion! And where is that pig puppet?" The mascot that resembled Wolf held up a piñata that's supposed to be Mandu.

And Mandu was just as confused as we were. "I know we're short-handed, but this is the biggest show of our careers, and most importantly, mine!" The leader sighed as he continued talking "So, let's pick it up from where Kipo and her humans attack those defenseless Wolves!"

Oh, now they gone spread lies about us?!

That's it!

Me and the crew ran out from hiding as I yelled at them "Hey! That is so not what happened!" The leader turned around and took off their face mask along with his buddies and revealed them to be otter mutes. The one dressed as me gasped as he yelled "By Thespis, thou art her!" "The real Kipo!" They all said together as they stared at us, well, mostly me in bewilderment.

"Otters in costumes?!" I fangirl'd raising the pitch of my voice before Wolf span her deathstalker and aimed it at them. "Who are you?" She questioned them and the one in front spoke to the others "You see, that's how you spin the staff. I am Puck." He gestured to himself and then to his crew "and this is my humble troupe of traveling bards, the TheaOtters!"

They all took a bow at us and I became puzzled of their name title. "Uh, sorry, did you say "the otters"? "No, the TheaOtters! As in "thea-ah-tre"?"

Ah, I get it. It's a play-on word.

"Why are you dressed like us?" Wolf asked them followed by Benson who stood next to the otter apparently dressed as him. "So, who is he supposed to be?! Huh?" "Ah, that's Benjamin. Kipo's cowardly friend in The Ballad of Newton Wolf Bluff." Puck explained to him until Benson threw a fit "What?! Ok, first off, it's Benson. And, second:~" I decided to cut him off right there and try to explain to them that it wasn't true.

"The Newton Wolves attacked us. You have to change the story, it's wrong!" "Especially the Benjamin part!" Benson added as he walked back to us. "But mutes LOVE a human villain." He chuckled as he took a few steps to the side "We simply tell the people what they want to hear. Which is why we've been invited to perform at Brunchington Beach."

He gestured to the restaurant that we were planning on going to. Puck threw his arms in the air "That's right, Brunch Theatre. The big time!" A light bulb came to mind as I thought of an idea. "Ooh! That's where we're heading! We can walk together, and I can tell you what really happened."

As soon as I said that Puck immediately started balling out in laughter. Honestly, I thought it was good plan. Make conversation, become friends and get to our destination!

...

He's still laughing.

As soon as Puck calmed down he questioned me "Wait. You're serious? Have you lost your minds? You know Cappuccino's rules, don't you?" Wolf speaks "We know the first two." Looking at Dave unsurely as he chuckled nervously. Puck placed his hands on his hips as he spoke aloud "Rule the third: "No humans allowed by penalty of a most gruesome death."

All the other otters nodded in agreement. "That was rule number three. Cappuccino hates humans! If she sees one in her restaurant, she feeds them to her pet!" He turned to us, shrinking himself a bit.

"Yeah, we definitely shouldn't go there."

"DAVE!" The three of us yelled at him altogether. "Honestly, it's kind of on you for trusting me." I think out loud "But without Cappuccino, we'll never find the burrow." All of a sudden a bell could heard from the restaurant that seemed to have caught the otters' attention. "Oh, wicked Fortuna! Only five minutes until curtain!" Puck exclaimed as they started putting their masks back on.

"Uh, good day, real Kipo. Benjamin, Wolf Girl, Bug, Piggy; Everyone, everyone, everyone grab something. Everyone get it." They then started packing up everything "I cannot believe Jane and Garrett dropped out last minute. This is WHY we have contracts!" After hearing that my mind thought up another brilliant idea.

(At Brunchington Beach)

After we all got into our costumes and made it to the restaurant entrance we stopped and I lifted my mask off a bit to get a good view of the place. I sniffed the air as I started smelling all kinds of delicious foods. "Whoa." All the mutes we've encountered were dining and having a good time enjoying their meals. I looked at Dave "I thought you said this place was dangerous! It's delightful!" I gasped as I saw one of my favorite things "Look! Bendy straws!"

My mask suddenly came back down seeing Puck was the one that did it. "It is dangerous! And if anyone finds out you're a human, you'll be fish food." Once he composed himself he continues "I'm only doing this because we're short a few actors. So, do not go off-book and do not get caught, or we're all in trouble."

That's understandable.

"Right. Focus. Psst, Dave, which one is Cappuccino?" I asked him "Oh! There she is! The one scowling at us. The one crackling her knuckles and walking over here." We all look to see Cappuccino who turned out to be a big blue shrimp and took Dave away. Apparently he never paid his bill all those years back and was now paying for it.

But in all honesty..

It didn't surprise us. Dave WOULD do something like that. But either way we have to get him out of there.

"What do we do? We have to help him!" I whispered, but Benson tried reassuring me "It's all right, Dave's unbreakable. But we're not. So, let's just focus on not dying." I nodded at him. He's right. Our main mission is to get Cappuccino to tell us about my old burrow.

How hard can it be?

Apparently it is because now we need to put on a good show for her or else she won't give us the information we need. I really hope Puck and the otters know what they're doing...

I look to the building where they took Dave as my face grew with worry.

I hope Dave's doing ok...

(Jamack's POV)

"Ten years is nothing to me! I once spent 25 years in a Mega Chicken's stomach just 'cause it was chilly outside!"

Oh, god...I knew that voice

I stopped what I was doing and approached the insect from behind. He seemed to be startled by my shadow and screamed out "Shadow Creature!" As he scurried back and hit my leg as I looked down. "Jamack?" He suddenly recognized as I walked by to my station, bubbles flying off me.

"What are you doing here?" He asked me as I continued to dry the plates. I let out a sigh "Eh, same as you. Stole some food. Got caught." I picked up another plate "You know, I could be eating tea cakes with Scarlemagne in a palace right now." Frustration started kicking in me "Knowing (Y/n) is probably suffering because of him I'd prefer to be anywhere else other than that prison."

I aimed a plate at Dave "It was her and Kipo that convinced me hard enough to save you and your little friends!" I got all up in his face "And look where it got me! I've got nothing. I've got no one! And do you know what..?!"

I stopped myself as I repeated the same words in my head to keep me calm.

You will not let your emotions get to you.

Be better.

For her...

I took a deep breath, finally calming down as went back to cleaning the dishes. "That's OK by me." I grabbed a piece of food "Because, hey, they let me eat the scraps." Eating the soggy bread I didn't hesitate to waste any of it. I know it's not high quality food but it was something at least.

"Speaking of Kipo, she gonna need help getting Cappuccino. We gotta break out~" "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait." I interrupted him as I my face became angered once more. "You brought Kipo here?!" I slammed Dave onto the wall, stacks of dishes falling to the ground. "And (Y/n)? Is she with y'all too?!" He shook his head slowly as he gave me a sad smile. "Wow, Jamack. You really care that much? They both changed your heart, didn't they?"

I suddenly dropped him as I scoffed, drying my hands off I quickly thought of an excuse. "That's ridiculous. I just...don't want to see my noble sacrifice wasted. If she's eaten alive, then what was all this for? Hm?" I walked off and took my coat off the hangar. "So, what you're saying is..." he asked me as I buttoned up and fixed my tie. "Oh, oh. What-what am I saying? You're an idiot." Placing my hands on my hips I stood there confidently.

"Also, we're breaking out."

(Back with Kipo)

Wow.

Tough crowd..

Everyone was already booing us and we didn't even start yet. They really must not like humans. Anyway, we all got ready to perform as Puck started off with a opening speech which didn't get us off to a good start considering one of the mutes threw a waffle at Wolf.

I had to hold her back to make sure she doesn't go off and murder them. Puck began playing a tune from his guitar as he begins the song.

Benson lifted up his mask "Wow, this song got super mean!" I look to see Cappuccino was really enjoying the show(despite on what the song's about..), but I'm glad to see our show is becoming a huge success!

I wonder how Dave is holding up..

(Back to Jamack!)

"Alright here's the plan: Ride this thing into the kitchen next door, and look for the chef with the keys on his belt." I gave him a stern look "Be stealthy, and don't get caught!" He waved me off "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I got it." He hopped onto the moving platform where the dishes come and go to. "Easy." He said as he disappeared but not until I whispered to him "Remember...stealth!"

Of course, being the idiot that he is he immediately does the exact opposite of what I told him to do. And that's my mistake for trusting him with anything. I placed my hand on my forehead "God, he's gonna get us both caught." I lifted my head and turned to see him revert back to his baby state.

I picked him up "Uh-Uh. Don't give me that look." Then he suddenly molted into a toddler to an angsty teen which just made the situation even more embarrassing for me. I turn to see him come back as his usual self holding the keys. "Ta to the da! Stealth!" He said with a grin.

I had to hand it to him. Even if he messes up he still gets it done. "That's one way to do it." I said to him as I took the keys and we headed for the doors.

(Back to Kipo again!)

They helped the humans fight and loot 🎶

Puck quieted the crowd down as he sung the last few verses which ended with the crowd cheering with glee. Even Cappuccino was clapping with applause from our performance.

Mission: SUCCESSFUL

"Bravo! Bravo! Bravissimo!" She yelled out to us as I made a fist pump. "Crushed it!" I said triumphantly as we all walked off the stage to see Cappuccino come up to me. "Help! Save me! Kipo and her filthy humans are invading my restaurant!" She laughed at her little joke as did everyone else.

She continued "That was easily the best show I have ever seen. And you! You had me shaking in my shell. I was transported!" I felt happy that she enjoyed it so much. "Why, thank you!" I bowed my head only to accidentally knock my mask off.

Oops.

Cappuccino screamed "It's really her!" Well, this is great. Now that I revealed myself they had everyone else take off their masks. Unlike the otters, the ones who weren't mutes were boo'd at. "So, uh, about that burrow?" I decided to ask her, only for her to reject it.

"How dare you disgrace my beautiful restaurant. Toss'em to Harriet!" She yelled at her henchshrimp as Benson and Wolf stood next to me. "Who's Harriet?" I questioned, but only to receive a response from a big purple flower looking water mute that emerged from the water staring hungrily at us.

"Oh, that's Harriet. Hello Harriet." I greeted him nicely, and the henchshrimps who stood in front of us threw Benson's mask into the Harriet's mouth that devoured it just like that. They lifted us off the ground attempting to throw us in, but not before a long tongue smacked every single one of them off of us.

I gasped as I look to see Jamack standing on the other end. "Jamack? I can't believe it!" I immediately run up to greet him with a hug, but stopped when he had his hand up. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Like I told the bug, I'm just making sure I didn't give up a life of luxury and respect for nothing."

"I don't know man, you're way better at saving people than you are being a criminal. Just lookin from the outside in." He nudged him as I smiled at Dave's encouraging words. Jamack groaned "Shut up and follow me." He said leading the way out of the restaurant. I sighed to myself "I guess we'll have to find the burrow a different way." Feeling disappointed that we failed.

We all hear loud squawks coming from outside the restaurant as we walked to the broken wall with a hole. "Unless Scarlemagne finds us first." Wolf said with a serious expression as we watched the nobles land their flamingos as everyone scattered away. The leader of them seemed to have a message for them. Mostly to Cappuccino, who was reading from a note.

We listened quietly as he read from the note "Congratulations! You're gonna cater Scarlemagne and his darling (Y/n)'s coronation. And all their meals before and after that, forever." He put the note back as he continued "As for the rest of you! Consider this a formal invitation from your future emperor and empress. See you in one week, or else!"

Everyone was literally shocked from the news we just heard. Scarlemagne's coronation was in a week. And I just heard that ape say (Y/n)'s name. Why was she getting coronated too? Is he forcing her to do it? My mind was lost and confused, but I knew one thing for sure.

(Y/n)'s alive!

I look out to see Cappuccino stand up to the ape and even asked everyone else to not be afraid, but they couldn't and it seemed like she was in trouble. Jamack suddenly stood next to me as he spoke in a manner I haven't heard. "Who knows what terrible things they're doing to her...Kipo." I face him as he gave a determined expression "We need to stop this and get him to give us answers about (Y/n)." I nodded my head and turn to the others.

"Let's go save everyone first! And then interrogation!" I raised my fist in the air "For (Y/n)!" Everyone repeated "For (Y/n)!" And just like that we exited the building and Wolf came up next to me and whispered "You sure you can handle this? I don't want you to lose control of yourself." I reassured her "Don't worry Wolf, I got this!"

We all got into our fighting stance as I yelled at the noble "Hey! Fancy clown! If you want her, you're gonna have to go through these! Herbs in!" My arms grew big as I got in my stance. "Oh, bring it on, burrow girl. Your weird arms don't scare me!" My friends joined my side "We got you, Kipo!" "Come on. Let's get this over and done with!"

And just like that it was an all out brawl. While Wolf and Jamack were fighting alongside me Benson and Dave helped gather everyone else to safety. I was suddenly taken from the ground and I had my legs grew which helped me leap to the one ape that knew about (Y/n).

I was about to lose it and slice him with my claws before Wolf called out and told me to stop, which I did but was suddenly yanked off and I began falling into Harriet's mouth until Wolf caught me using Jamack's tongue. That didn't stop us from landing in his mouth and it was a struggle, but we managed to make it out in one piece.

I look ahead and saw the noble get away.

Dang it..!

Now we lost the only lead to finding her..

"Kipo...you ok?" I was startled by Wolf's voice that I didn't notice how uncontrollable I had gotten. "Herbs out." My arms and legs went back to normal as looked down at myself. "I...I don't know. But it wasn't me. And what's worse is we lost the only lead to finding (Y/n).."

Mandu runs up to me and tries to cheer me up which I happily hugged her. Everyone was ok, Dave was worried and I got a hug from him too. Puck was transported by our fight he's wanting to perform it for their next show. He even asked Jamack for help in performance as well.

He agreed to go but he also said he was going to search for (Y/n) as well. But he said if I did find her to let him know. Once they were gone we were approached by Cappuccino who evidently apologized and gave us the map to the burrow. "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone where you're headed." I took the map from her "Thank you." I said to her as she brought up another thing.

She offered us a meal before heading out!

Sweet, right?

Almost everyone had waffles while Mandu and I stuck with a more ravenous appetite. I hadn't known that I was literally making a mess with the spaghetti I had ordered and knew I had a problem with my control of the Jaguar.

We need to find that burrow.

And fast.

Just wait a bit more, (Y/n). We're coming!

(At the palace)

"Achew!!" I sneezed again as I covered my nose with a soft cloth. "Geez..am I coming down with something?" I whispered to myself as continued knitting. Scarlemagne had noticed my troublesome eyes and said "Is something troubling you, (Y/n)?" I shook my head "That's the fifth time I sneezed today, and I should be healthy.."

He touched my forehead with the back of his hand "Perhaps I'll have someone check you." I smiled at him "There's also this superstition about sneezes. Wanna hear it?" He nodded as I looked back down at my work. A small smile made its way onto my face as I spoke softly.

"It means someone is talking about me."
