(Y/n's POV)

It was a peaceful night in Timbercat Village, but the feeling I felt before whenever I was with Hugo stilled remained. That feeling of uneasiness, of being scared. I told Kipo this about how I sensed Emilia from the far distance of us, but she reminded me that she couldn't do anymore harm to us because they burned the book.

I really wanted to believe that she was finally stopped, but the back of my gut told me otherwise. So, as of right now I'm with everyone in the meeting room as we feast on pancakes. I stood next to Kipo and Lio as we look for a seat for the three of us.

I look ahead of me and see my lovable frog bestie silently enjoying his pancakes. A content smile shows on my face as I look around to spot for any seats for us. I hear Kipo sigh next to me as I look at her "Ugh, there's no more seats."

Realization suddenly hits us both in the back of our heads as we gasped "There's no more seats!" Kipo yelled excitedly as Lio elbowed her and gestured to me "Eh, you both did that. Now we have to eat on the floor." I shrugged my shoulders with a grin "And I don't mind that at all."

The room suddenly became quiet as everyone gasped and turned to see Yumyan walk down the steps holding what looks to be...ZANE??! Dahlia and Asher appear on each of his sides as Dahlia speaks up "He has a message." She said with a serious tone in her voice. "From Emilia." Yumyan finished as he struggled to hold the wiggling Zane.

I turn to Kipo tugging her arm "You see..?! This is what I was telling you about her..!" Whispering near her ear as she politely asked me to calm myself down which I did. Asher held up an arrow with a piece of paper jabbed into it as she looked at Zane in anger "Tell them what your note said."

I stared hard at Zane as we waited patiently for him to speak. He smirked at us "Please meet Emilia at the water treatment facility in three hours so she can cure you." Kipo looked confused at him "What? Why would I do that?" Dahlia held up Wolf's new weapon "He had this on him, Kipo." We both gasped in horror.

"Because we have your friends."

Emilia..took our friends...?

The sudden sound of a plate shattering startled me as I turn my attention to see it was Kipo's plate. She then starts running off outside as me and Lio tried to go after her. I yelled after her "Kipo, wait!" "You can't just run off to Emilia!" Lio yelled after. I look to my left to see Song notice our presence as she watched us closely.

Kipo then jumps off the tree as I cupped my hands to my mouth "Kipo, if you don't come up with a plan you could get hurt!" I turn to Lio "She won't listen to us.." he seemed worried and stared down at the ground. I look up behind me at Song as I pointed towards the direction Kipo ran to "Go talk some sense into her, Song!"

She nodded her head as she quickly ran off to catch up to her. I placed my hand on Lio's shoulder "Don't worry, Lio. We'll figure something out here. In the meantime I want you and Yumyan to lock up Zane in case he gives us more information about Emilia."

He nodded his head firmly and took off, but not before turning his head to face me "What about you?" I took a deep breath as I closed my eyes while massaging my forehead "I need a moment to calm down. I'll meet you guys when I'm cooled off, OK?" He gave me a thumbs up as he smiled and left me me alone.

I walked to a nearby tree and stared at it intensely, eyes burning as they switched to a glowing yellow, imagining it being Emilia's face as I grew my fur out and ferociously started clawing at it, ripping pieces of bark off and extended my fangs out as I bite hard on the wood and continuously rip off little by little until I was satisfied with the outcome.

Once I let my steam out I hurriedly joined the other and see Lio and Yumyan do as I asked as I see Zane locked up in their cage. And just in the nick of time we hear the loud footsteps of Song as she brought Kipo down to us giving both of us a quick hug. She frowned at us "They have our friends." She soon let go and turned her back to us groaning in frustration.

"I mean, who knows what that mute-hating monster lady will do to them? Ugh, I just want to jaguar punch her!" She stared at her pink paws before transforming them back "Maybe I should let her cure me." Both me and Lio held up our hands "Whoa. OK, let's think about this." "Yeah, Kipo. Maybe there's a way we can turn this around without having to do that."

Lio agreed with me "If you get cured, you can't protect anyone, especially your friends." I nodded eagerly "You're the only one who can transform into a Mega willingly! We'll find a way to stop her." She smiled softly at us, giving her hope.

"We'll beat Emilia at her own game, whatever that game is! Let's figure out her game is what I'm saying." Yumyan tried saying confidently. Song begins to talk as we all look up at her. She seemed to be giving Kipo advice towards Emilia, and I look down to see Lio look sadly at her.

I mentally slap myself in the face..

I completely forgot to tell them that I could understand Song, so I tapped on his shoulder "Lio, I think I might help with Song-" he waved me off "Don't worry, it's OK. I've got it from here." Song looked upset and stormed off as I look at Lio "Lio, please...I know how to talk to-"

"HEY, don't you feed your prisoners?! I'm starving, I'm thirsty, and I need some food and water!" Zane complained out loud, but Mandu stopped him from his rambling as she squealed at him threateningly. Lio chuckled "That'll do, Mandu." He then gets to thinking about something serious, and I don't want to rudely interrupt him.

"Zane knows Emilia's plan. We just have to get it out of him. Somehow." I stare off into space as I let my thoughts out. Faintly hearing Zane's voice in the distance as he continued talking nonsense.

They seem to be too focused on Emilia to figure out what Song's message was to Kipo.

I look at them again and see Kipo give Zane some water which actually had our good friend Mullholand. Their plan was to get him to go in Zane's mind and see what Emilia's plans were that he wouldn't say before. I laughed at the site, Zane was completely freaked out by him and tried to attempt getting him out. I look towards Song's direction and let out a heavy sigh.

Maybe I should see if she's OK, and who knows, maybe she'll have more things to want to say to Kipo...

I lightly tapped Kipo's back and smiled as she returned the smile. "Yeah, (Y/n)?" I closed my eyes for a brief moment and recalled back to the events that happened between us when it came to Emilia. When we saw each other after our fight we immediately started crying out our apologies which soon turned into laughter as we hugged it out.

Once we told each other how we felt it made things more clearer for us, and we were able to work things out. I opened my eyes and gave her a determined smile "I know you will be busy with this whole "Emilia" thing, and I know you're gonna get our friends back, so I figure I'd help out the rest of our community while you do this."

She fully turned to me with a genuine smile as she nodded slowly, her eyes becoming watery as did mine and we exchanged a heartfelt hug. I knew she understood that I couldn't go with her as much as I wanted to save my friends too. I just wasn't ready to face Emilia yet without wanting to claw out her eyes as soon as I see her.

Once we let go I gave her a good pat "I'm gonna go check on Song. Good luck with Emilia, Kipo. I believe in you!" With that I turned and walked away waving off to Kipo as she did the same. My thoughts began to wonder as I walked to my destination.

I really hope they get something useful out of Zane...

Wait-...I'm SURE they will!

(Hugo's POV)

Blast that dreadful music!

Do they seriously need to be playing this loud??

I groaned as I covered my ears trying to ignore the sounds of banjos ringing throughout the forest. I sighed in bliss as I hear nothing but silence. "Ugh, finally." I went back to laying flat on the ground as I resume my rest. My thoughts were suddenly filled with my sweet (Y/n).

I wonder what (Y/n)'s up to?

I miss her already...

Just as I became settled in my beauty rest I hear loud footsteps approach as I quickly sat up with an aggravating scowl. I look above to see Song stomping around so freely as I called out to her. "You, there! Song!" She looks around confused trying to see who was calling to her and soon turned to see me "Hello!"

I threw my arms up in the air "It's not enough that I'm locked in this horrid cage, unable to see my dear (Y/n) whenever I feel like, I'm constantly tortured by the twang of banjos, day and night!" Looking sleep deprived I yelled at her "This is my precious nap time!"

I lowered my voice as I tried not to anger myself more "So, can you please tippy toe?" She suddenly picks me up in my cage and brings me closer to her face as she begins rambling on and on while she unfortunately keeps moving the cage up and down, back and forth.

I grunted harshly as I tried to steady myself while on my hands and knees. I look up at her "Ugh. Sounds like feelings." I did not want to have this conversation with Song, don't get me wrong it's not her fault. If it was with (Y/n) then I'd be OK with it, but if it's with anyone else then the answer is "NO."

I got up from the floor "Why does everyone have these?" She tried talking to me again, but I only turned myself around wanting to ignore her "Sorry, dear, can't understand a thing you're saying." She suddenly roars at me almost making me fall again as I stumbled to keep my balance.

"Oh, unless that's the problem."

What she said immediately gave me second thoughts seeing as it was about, Kipo, Emilia and possibly the fate of our existence. I think about (Y/n) and how she's been helping Kipo with everything. I don't want either of them in danger..

I look up to see Song happily grunt which caused the cage to shake again as I flipped myself upside down. I softly glared at her "You could have just nodded." She quickly took note and gave me an apologetic smile as I flipped myself back up and adjusted my bow tie.

"Ugh. Listen, I'll help you, in exchange for one favor." She glanced to the side nervously as she reverted her eyes back to me. I notice this and tried to ease her "Don't worry, it's not "let me out." She looked skeptical at me for a moment before smiling as she nodded happily, thus making the cage shake tremendously with me in it.

With my face planted on the floor I once again told her to nod with just her head. I sighed heavily as I sat back up again rubbing the side of my face. I begin thinking of ways to communicate with Song and soon thought of a brilliant idea when we suddenly hear a small voice coming from down below.

We both look to see...

"(Y/n)!"

(Y/n's POV)

I made it to where Song was, but what caught me by surprise was that I could see she was holding Hugo in his cage. He called out to me "(Y/n)!" I waved at both of them "Hi Hugo!" I stare at Song as I asked her "Song! Do you think we can talk?" She smiled warmly at me as she lowered one of her hands and lifted me up to her palms where she held Hugo.

"What are you doing with Song, Hugo?" I asked out of curiosity and see him rub his forehead "We made a deal. If I help her translate her message to Kipo, she'll get me that favor I asked. Actually it's more like two favors." My face became filled with wonderment as I curiously asked him "What are the fa-" "And no, I will not say them."

I scoffed at him "Alright, have it your way. I won't ask again." He then turned to me "So, may I ask what YOU are wanting Song for?" I instantly freeze up and was at a loss for words.

Crap!

I can't tell him now that I understand Song far better than he could. It would ruin their whole deal!

I should probably tell him later after their done.

Better tell Song if she can keep it between us...

Just then I think of the funny outcome Hugo's gonna face struggling with Song.

Bwahaha! This is so gonna totally be payback for tricking me! Now it'll be my turn to pull the strings..!

"I was just wanting to see if she was OK after what happened back at the HMUFA tree. She seemed upset and stormed off, so that's why I'm here." He seemed to buy it as he nodded and I look up to see Song looking confused as I carefully placed my index finger on my lips to quiet her.

I gestured for her to pick me up and she did as she held me next to her ear as I whispered secretly that I was wanting to make some payback at Hugo and trick him into thinking he was the only one who can sorta understand her. While I wait on the sidelines and seem oblivious to it. Plus I told her that I didn't want to ruin him on his favor.

She happily agreed and set me back down next to him. We both giggle quietly at each other and Hugo seemed to find that odd, but dismissed it, thinking it was a girl thing or whatever. I turn to him "So! What's the plan?" He grinned with a smug look on his face "I know exactly what to do next!"

He made Song take us to where the little Timberkittens were, Scrumples and Snugglemuffin as they were playing with alphabetical blocks. Once I was low enough to the ground I dropped down and landed next to Hugo who was placed carefully on the dirt floor by Song.

"Ahoy! You, Scrumples and Snugglemuffin." They look to me and gave me a small wave as I waved back at them earning a bright smile from both. "Bring me those blocks." Hugo ordered as they quickly gathered all the blocks and dropped them in front of Hugo. "Here you go, Scarmanine~" Snugglemuffin said so cutely.

OMG THE WAY THEY MISTAKENLY SAID HIS NAME SOUNDED SO CUUUUTE! >W<

I fangirled on the inside trying not to squeal from their overall cuteness as they stared up at him. "You may want to move." Hugo stated as the kittens hear giant footsteps behind them and turn to see Song there. They ran off and Song carefully sat on the ground with a loud thud as I questionably gazed at Hugo.

I look to the blocks, and then at Song, and soon at Hugo again. "You really think she'll be able to pick any of these..."

"Shush."

I crossed my arms as I just stared directly ahead of me, trying to hold in my laughter as best I could as I kept quiet and let him speak. "Long ago, I, myself, struggled to communicate. So, you gave me letters, like these, to speak for me." He said to Song as he gestured to the blocks in front of him. "Isn't that right, (Y/n)?" He turned to me with a smile as I smiled back at him, both our faces appear with a faint blush.

I could feel tiny butterflies fluttering in my stomach as we look back at Song who looked like a proud mother as she awed at our little moment we had. She soon dismissed it and tried grabbing one of the blocks. As soon as she did she held it up to her face and squinted her eyes to try and read which letter it was, only for the tiny block to fall off onto the ground.

Frustrated that the blocks were too small for her she slammed her fist on to the ground causing the earth to rumble. "So, that's a non-starter.." Hugo implied and glanced at my face only to see me giving him a huge grin that said "I told you so." He playfully rolled his eyes as he looked up at Song who didn't seem to be kidding around and growled specifically at him.

Her face came close to the glass as she bared her fangs. Hugo looks away "We're only trying to lighten the mood in a stressful situation!" He points at her "You're not the only who's frustrated here. I want that favor." She quieted down as she turned away from him crossing her arms.

As Hugo began thinking of another way, I secretly patted Song as she gave me a corner smile staring down at me. I have to say she was a very good actor for being a giant monkey. "Let's try something else." I hear him say as we both listen to his next plan.

Which was kinda like a weird game of charades...

Song began demonstrating what word she was trying to come around and act it out for us, well...for Hugo mostly, because I already knew it, and I enjoy messing with Him a lot.

"(Y/n), you sure you don't want in on this? I could really use the help." I giggled to myself.

I'll humor him this time..

"Alright. I guess I'll try, but it's not like I'll know anything." He thanked me as he turned his attention to Song who waited patiently to start. "OK, Song! Could you repeat that last word to us, please?" He asked her as she began what looks to be peeling off a banana. Saying the word rhymes with "peeling" which was feeling.

"Sounds like...banana?" He whispered to me and himself "Oh, what rhymes with banana..?" I held up my hand and shouted "What about Armada?!" She politely shook her no with a gentle smile. "Dang!" I said out loud. Hugo begins to yell out words to her "Uh, Havana? Diana? Are you sure it's not banana??"

I look at him like he's crazy "Are those really the only words you came up with?!" Hugo looked taken aback by my comment as he placed his hand on his hip "Well, I don't see you coming up with anything else, sweetheart." He smirked at me and I pointed my finger at straight at him.

"I can name five words that rhyme with banana right now, mister! Don't you underestimate the power of my beautiful mind!" He grinned at me "Then by all means, please, take it away~" I took a deep breath as I began counting the amount of words on my fingers "Cabana, Anna, Ghana, Savannah, and Tropicana!"

I pretend to drop an invisible mic and folded my arms as I turn up my chin looking proud and confident. "I'm pretty sure none of those words are what Song is saying..." he said to me very bluntly. I dropped to my knees and cried out dramatically in defeat "MY MIND WAS NOT GREAT ENOUGH!"

"But..." I suddenly look up and see him squatting down peering at me with his soft eyes "I'm impressed with your beautiful mind~"

My HEART!

I immediately felt the blush rush to my cheeks and tried to play it cool. I rubbed the back of my head "Well, at least I got one person who thinks so!" We laughed it off for a little while until Song started speaking again and made the same gesture with her hands.

She pointed to her head while peeling the invisible banana staring at Hugo who seemed to be in deep thought. A light bulb came to him "Oh! Uh, rhymes with "peeling"! Kneeling, ceiling, stealing..?" He chuckled at Song as he waved his finger at her "Song, you rascal, are you suggesting a heist?"

She shook her head as he continued to guess "Well, let's see, uhh—uh, dealing, healing, feeling.." she stopped him right as he said feeling as she knelt down to our level grunting excitedly. I look at him "Hey! You got it right!" He scoffed "Oh! Feeling! Back to feelings? Ugh, what about them?"

"Well, I think feelings can be pretty powerful.." I said quietly with a pout looking away from him. What I didn't notice was that he actually heard me and was going to say something, but Song was already wanting to move on.

As she made new hand gestures Hugo raised his hands at her "Ooh. OK, we're moving fast now." I see Snugglemuffin and Scrumples sitting on top of the cage watching us. Snugglemuffin points at her "Ooh! Ooh! The top one means "no"! I smiled at him.

Smart kid..

Hugo looked up at him annoyingly "I got that, Snugglemuffin! Just get me something to write on." I look to see Scrumples holding something in his hand as I pointed it out "Scrumples, do you think we can use that?" He looked at me and then at his piece of wood and nodded as he tossed me it. I caught it with ease and went to go unlock the cage door for him to use.

As I handed it to him I was on my way out when I felt two arms wrap around my waist and felt a warm breath go down my neck. I turn my head to see Hugo nuzzle me lightly. He lifted his head up to the kittens "Go on home, you two. We're done here." They did as he said as left to their homes.

I giggled at his way of showing affections to me "Hugo...do you have to do this now?" He kissed the side of my neck that sent a shiver down my spine. "Don't worry, it'll only be this." He soon let go of me and gently pushed me out of the cage so that I could lock it.

He cleared his throat as he held up the wooden board. "Let's get to writing, shall we?" Me and Song nodded our heads eagerly as we worked together to translate for Song.

(Time skip)

With the hard work Hugo pulled off to translate a perfect message for Kipo from Song, it was time to present it. Song picked up the cage and held me in her other hand as she guided us to the HMUFA tree where Kipo and them were.

And just in the nick of time we spotted Kipo walking out along with Lio and Yumyan as Song suddenly placed Hugo right in front of them which startled almost them. I hopped off and stood next to Hugo on his left as he cleared his throat and gestured to Song looking at Kipo.

"Your mother would like a word." The three of them looked up at her to see her bright smile beaming down at them. "I'll make this fast. Your mother asked me to give you a message, and I, selflessly, agreed to help." I coughed next to him as he noticed and gestured to me as well "(Y/n) helped me, too." Kipo smiled at him "You did?" I smiled to myself knowing he's gonna me peeved at me after this.

"No."

"OK, here we go.." He held the board in his hand as he read "Don't let Emilia use your feelings against you, honey. Use her feelings against her." I see Kipo look up at her mom feeling reassured as she faced us again. "You have no idea how many charades it took to get that down." Hugo complained seeming not too thrilled by it.

"Yeah...it was a lot more than I anticipated." I said rubbing the back of my head. "Great! What does that mean?" Kipo asked seeming a bit confused on what the message was implying. "Emilia is proud and arrogant." Hugo explained. "Kinda like someone here.." I murmured to myself as he glared at me from the corner of his eye, but continued "Let her think she's won."

"And then crush her." I finished as the three of us looked menacingly at her either tightening or crushing our fists with determined looks. "Ooh, that's good. High five!" Lio cheered as he and Song high-fived each other. Kipo hugged her mom's finger as she thanked her. I could see how it was affecting Hugo as I watch him stare at the two looking sympathetic.

I stepped up and decide to make an announcement in front of everyone as I quieted them all down. "I have something important to say that I forgot to mention to everyone...everyone but Song." She smiled that radiant smile of hers and motioned me to continue. Everyone looked confused, especially Hugo.

"Ever since two days ago, I've recently discovered that I could actually....understand Song's words." I look at everyone's reaction to see how surprised and thrilled they were. Lio walked up to me "How come you never told us?" "I tried to tell you! You and Kipo today, but you all seemed too busy.."

I look at Hugo and could picture steam coming out of his ears as his face was beet red. "You knew all along?! Why didn't you say anything before?!" I walked up to him and folded my arms "THAT, my dear Hugo was payback!" His eyes widened "Payback? Payback for what?!"

I cleared my throat "You tricked me back in Aurum, and now I tricked you. Song helped me out with her amazing acting skills while I just acted dumb and clueless." I leaned in close to the glass with a smirk "Let's see how you liked being on the other end of the stick!"

Some "Ooooohs" were heard from behind us as I watched Hugo become so flustered and embarrassed by me tricking him. I started to laugh at how I told him I nearly died from the charades he had to guess. It made me curl up as I held on to my stomach. It was too funny.

Once I calmed down I told him "Now, we're even." He scoffed "You are so going to get it later.." he growled lowly as I pressed myself against the glass "Bet you can't wait, huh?" I teased while wiggling my hips a little. His face became more red as he just glared at me, giving me the silent treatment.

"I hate you."

"Aww, I love you too."

Kipo came up to us and asked Hugo for his wooden board. Which we both looked at her in confusion, supposedly it was for luck? She, Lio and Yumyan took off to save our friends while the rest of us stayed behind. Song left to go get the favors Hugo asked for while we waited for her to return. I sat outside of the cage and looked up at the stars.

"What were the two things you asked for if I may ask?" I hear a sigh as Hugo took a moment to think before saying our loud "I wanted my piano back because I cannot stand to hear one more banjo playing.." I turn to him "And the other?" He seemed hesitant at first and simply said "It's just a tiny trinket I always had. I didn't want to lose it forever."

After Song returned with the piano she helped placed it in the cage and just for a split second she handed him the other thing he asked for. I tried to get a good glimpse of it, but it just looked like a regular tiny box.

Oh, well...maybe it's a lucky pendant of his!

He starts playing a tune while me and Song sat there listening to the sweet harmonic melody playing throughout the forest. It seemed like everyone was listening to it as there was nothing, no sound, but the keys playing on his hands. He had a very relaxed expression on his face as he swooned to the music.

"Ahh, the sweet sound of anything but banjo." He gazed at Song and then at me, almost reminding me of when he played the piano the first time. I always loved the way he played, it was one of the reasons I fell in love with him. He expresses so much when it comes to his piano. You could tell a lot what someone is feeling based on how they're playing.

Song soon left to patrol and keep watch until Kipo and them came back. That just left me and Hugo alone again. I sat next to him while he played as I was deep in my thoughts worrying if anything will happen. Hugo seemed to noticed my distress and called out to me.

"(Y/n)?"

"(Y/n)..?"

"(Y/N)!"

"What?!" I suddenly shout as I turned to Hugo to see him looking worried at me "Are you alright?" I sighed heavily as I laid on my elbow "I just can't help but worry something will go wrong.." I look down at my lap "I'm sorry." He gently grabbed the bottom of my chin and made me look at him "Everything is going to be fine, (Y/n). Trust me." He gave me a quick peck on the lips before asking me.

"You know I love you, right?" I nodded as I rested my head on his shoulders letting out a little yawn. He picked me up and placed me in his lap as he continued playing some keys. "Let me sing something for you, my love~" I could feel him softly caressing my cheek with his nose as I begin to drift off into sleep. Unaware of this, as he started playing he cautiously leaned his head over to see if I was deep in my sleep, which I was, and carefully took out a little box from his pocket and placed it on top of the piano.

(Third Person's POV)

Hugo frowned as he stared at the tiny box in front of him. He looked once more between it and his dear (Y/n), contemplating on what he should do. He sighed to himself wanting to speak out his thoughts, so he did exactly that. Not caring if his (Y/n) hears it or not. He took a deep breath and stared straight ahead of him. "Do you remember that movie you once told me about..? The one about the beautiful woman and the beast?" There was nothing but silence and the lightly sound of (Y/n)'s snore, he continued to speak.

"I cannot help but feel we're similar to them...don't you think? It's quite strange to picture us as those two. You, a beautiful damsel that happened to find her way into my..castle. And then there's me, a beast unwilling to think there could be anyone who would love him for the way that he is." He looks down at the sleeping beauty(I know, different fairytale!) "And yet, we found each other somehow.." he positioned himself more comfortably "I know you've been wanting me to sing this for you...I never knew why, but...I think I know now." He begins the song as he plays each note slowly while humming to the tune.

"Hm hm hm hmm hmmm..

Hm hm hm hmm hmmm...

Hm hm hm hmm...hmmm....

I was the one who had it all...

I was the master of my fate

I never needed anybody in my life

I learned the truth too late...

He gazed once more at the tiny box having a slight fear in his eyes as he closed them shortly before opening them back up.

I'll never shake away the pain...

I close my eyes, but she's still there

I let her steal into my melancholy heart..!

It's more than I can bare...

All of a sudden Hugo hears a loud roar coming from the far distance and that apparently woke up (Y/n) immediately as she jolted upwards almost hitting Hugo in the face, and stood up as she walked towards the glass placing her hands on it. She turned back to face Hugo "Song said they're back!" Hugo let out somewhat a sigh of relief "See? I told you they would be fine." She gave him a bright smile, but turned to hear another unsettling roar coming from Song as she listened carefully.

Hugo hears her gasp as she dashed to the cage door, Hugo looked stunned at her "Where are you going? They're fine aren't they?" Once (Y/n) got the door open she turned her head at him "No...something's wrong! I have to get to them..!" Hugo stood up in his seat "But-.." Hugo seemed hesitant for a moment until (Y/n) spoke for him "Look, as soon everything is solved I'll come straight back for you, OK?" Hugo looked unsure of this, but agreed nonetheless.

"Very well...I suppose I shall wait for you in the meantime. Just hurry, please." She nods and turns her body back around "And...(Y/n)?" She hummed questionably as she closed the cage door and stared at him. "Don't forget.....I-....I love you." (Y/n)'s face blushed as she gave him a sweet loving smile "I love you too..." she waved goodbye as she ran off towards Song, and Hugo was now greeted with silence once again as he sat back down wanting to finish his song for her even though she wasn't there with him.

Feeling relieved in a way, Hugo lifted his hands off the keys and picked up the tiny box as he stared at it looking deep in thought. "Someday..." he said to himself as he placed the box in his pocket and looked up gazing at the full moon. A small smile formed on his face "Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but someday..." he closed his eyes as he placed his hand on his chest near his heart.
