(Jamack's  POV)

I followed the two-headed black flamingo on my dragonfly. I was determined to speak with Scarlemagne about offering me a place in his palace. Now that I don't have a home anymore..

(**Cue Music**)

I looked ahead of me as I was stunned to see mute gangs surrounding the Las Vistas Zoo. I hopped off and hid behind a tree and I couldn't believe what I was about to hear..

Scarlemagne seemed to have gathered everyone for some sort of reason. I stayed hidden as I begin listening in on his speech. I watched him grunt a couple of times as he shouted at all of us "There's a burrow girl on the loose!"

Ah, so that's why he called everyone here..

He quickly composed himself before speaking again, "Pardon me, lost my composure there for a moment." He gave a sigh as he continued, "It was only 200 years ago that humans, like that burrow girl...kept us locked up in prisons just like this one!" He gestured behind him, showing the zoo. "Well, now the tables have turned." He raised his arms as a flock of flamingos being rode by his nobles landed on each of his sides.

"This is how all humans should be, obedient. I can make them into an army. An army I can use to build an empire! Mutes on top! Humans below!" He exclaimed loudly as his nobles, his humans, were cheering for him. It was until he snapped his fingers did they stop. And suddenly all of the mutes, including me, gasped at how he could easily control them. I was shocked to my core.

"Back to that burrow girl. She can lead me to more humans. Enough to rule Las Vistas. Whoever brings her to me will be rewarded with a position of power and luxury, beyond your wildest dreams!" I smiled to myself.

Finally! This is the opportunity I needed..!

I could get back at those who did me wrong, haha!

"So, I ask you, do you dream big?" Everyone cheered a bit until he repeated himself, "I can't hear you..!" Everyone then cheered louder as Scarlemagne shouted once more "Bring me the burrow girl!" I turned around, snickering at myself. "Nothing would give me more pleasure.." I said quietly to myself as I start walking to my dragonfly.

And I know just how to find her..

I sighed as I got on my dragonfly.

I know she's not gonna let me take her that easily..

(Y/n's POV)

So, here we are again, walking to our destination on the map that Wolf and Dave found. I was walking beside Kipo as she stared at the map her dad left her. "Hmm, according to his map, my dad wants us to head toward a giant nose." I looked at her puzzled, "A giant nose..?" She seemed just as confused as I was, "Maybe I'm reading this wrong." I caught her staring at Wolf, the events that happened last night were not unprecedented. It was an emotional roller coaster for all of us.

Just then we hear something fly above us and saw the Hummingbombers. "Guys, take cover!" Wolf shouted at us as Benson and Dave went to go hide in a bush while the rest of us hid in an abandoned car. We saw the skunks pass by us as we slowly emerge from our seats to peak. "Scooter Skunks and Hummingbombers. The packs are out in force today." Wolf pointed out with her usual scowl expression on her face. "Huh, that's unusual.." I said to myself as I glanced at Kipo who was looking at Wolf. I was in the passenger seat while they were in the back seats.

"So, uh, Wolf? Things got pretty emotional last night. Can we talk about it?" "Nope!" "Ok, well, at the campfire, when you said, "We go our separate ways", why is that happening exactly?" She asked her wondering if she meant what she said. I spoke up, "Yeah Wolf, don't you want to stay with Kipo? The rest of us are." And I was telling the truth. Last night with Kipo she asked me if I was gonna stay and live with her and Lio, of course, them two are already like family to me so, I agreed.

"Our deal was, I get you back to your people, and then I move on." I frowned after Wolf had said that. It wouldn't really be the same if Wolf wasn't there with us. "After all we've been through, you still feel that way?" Kipo said sadly to her as Mandu crawled in her lap. "I don't do burrows." "Why not?" Me and Kipo said at the same time." Kipo led on, "They're...they're safe, warm, and you have this great community of people."

Wolf turned her head back to the windshield. "I hate most people." I sighed at her, "Wolf, I may hate most people too, but if I just stick to the people I like most then there'd be no problem!" Kipo agreed with my statement, "You haven't even met that many people. There's school, Taco Tuesdays, game nights..." Wolf looked back at us, "That's not fun, that's torture."

Ouch..

Sounded a bit harsh there..

I gave up trying to convince her. I mean, it is Kipo's burrow so, I'll let her be the one to convince Wolf. "No." Kipo spoke, "No?" Wolf questioned her oddly. "No. I do not accept this. I will change your mind Wolfatha Christie the Fourth. You wait and see." Determination filling her voice I knew Kipo wouldn't be giving up on her so easily.

"Wolfatha Christie the Fourth?" She asked Kipo, and I gotta say, it's not a bad name for her. "Well, you don't have a full name, and I needed one for emphasis." Mandu squealed at Kipo while give her a quick cheer with a fist in the air. "See? Even Mandu and (Y/n) think I can do it." She pointed a finger directly at Wolf, "I will convince you to come with us."

We then hear Dave yell "Whoa! Big nose!" We all hopped out of the car and looked to where Benson and Dave were looking at. Kipo gasped as she started to run excitedly towards there. "It is a nose!"

As soon as we got to the giant nose there was a reek of a revolting smell that made me wish I didn't have my enhanced smelling. I could hear Benson complaining behind me. "Oh...Gross! What is that smell?!" Kipo stopped to look up and spotted something. "That lunchbox! It's got the same symbol as the map!" I looked up to where she was pointing at and could see a red lunchbox with the ram symbol.

But it's so high up!

If I could, It'd be easy for me to jump up there and grab it..

"Oh, I got this." We watched as Dave started to transform again into super Dave, but unfortunately he could only transform a part of his arm. He stumbled a little, but managed to jump up with his muscular arm and reach the lunchbox. Kipo waved her arms as she yelled out to Dave. "Ooh, ooh! Down here! Down here!" Suddenly, when things couldn't have gotten worse...they just did. Dave literally threw the lunchbox in trash canyon.

Every one of us gave him a "Tell me you did not just do that" look as we scowled at him. We looked below us at the piles of garbage. "Does anyone see it?" Kipo asked us. Mandu began sniffing around until she spotted the lunchbox and ran towards it. Sliding down the trash did we all follow. Kipo grabbed a hold on Mandu as we kept going down till we thought was the bottom, but crashed and fell beneath it.

I emerge from the garbage as everyone else did and took a moment to look at our surroundings. I could see lots of exercise equipment but nothing out of the ordinary. "Is everyone OK?" Kipo called out to us as she brought up Mandu with her. "Where are we..?" I said scanning the area once more. All of a sudden we hear footsteps as Wolf silently yelled "Hide" to us, running to cover.

Raccoons dressed in 80's fit wear gathered in front of us, but one of them looked towards the hole we accidentally made. Hearing them growl we became more paranoid by the second, "Something's wrong here.." the big raccoon said cautiously. She then pushed a button that lit up as tempo music started to play. "You're not moving! Let's go!" She then begins to dance workout on the stage as the rest of the raccoons followed her lead.

We were all shocked and surprised by what we were witnessing. "Was not expecting that." Dave said, obviously too stunned to even say anything else. Wanting to not interrupt their workout we then began searching behind us in the trash for the missing lunchbox. "Does anyone see the lunchbox?" Kipo asked crawling towards us. "Wait, is that it?" Dave found something that had the same color as the lunchbox, but when he pulled it, it made a loud ruckus.

"Humans!" We faced the raccoons who had caught us red-handed. Kipo laughed nervously "Hi. Uh, sorry to interrupt." One of the blue-eyed raccoons gasped as she said excitedly "They're going through our garbage!" They all begin to cheer and celebrate. I didn't think raccoons would be this excited about humans going through their trash..

Wolf rushed in front of us and aimed her deathstalker at them. "Wolf, stand down. I think they're friendly..."

It was quite the introduction, but Kipo introduced us to them. Carton, Label and Tongue Depressor were the three that introduced themselves, and might I say they were odd names. They even mentioned that we were the first humans they've ever seen so, that was interesting.

"So, what brings you here?!" Label shouted at us. "We're looking for a lunchbox. We were looking for it when we fell into your home." Kipo looked around, "It could be anywhere, really." Carton then spoke up, "Sounds like you're in a jam..but we can help you out!" Laughing at how excited she was she continued to say "Why don't we show you where everything is, so we can get extra steps, and then we can all help look!"

"No. We can do it ourselv-" Kipo broke her sentence by giving Mandu to her. "That would be amazing! One tour, please!" I chuckled at them both, I really hope Kipo will be able to change Wolf's mind after we find the lunchbox.

"Whoo! Here's the cardio corner! My favorite." Carton exclaimed, doing some push-ups on the ground. Benson and Dave followed Label while the rest of us girls stayed behind. As Wolf was about to walk away Kipo yanked her back and gestured to the room. I knew she wanted to make her see how great communities are underground. Of course, Wolf being Wolf became annoyed and walked away.

As we were finishing up the tour Wolf got impatient, "We should really find that lunchbox and get out of here." Label steps in, "OK, we'll, what does it look like?" "It's red and it's got the symbol for Aries. He's a ram." Kipo answered her and soon enough we got everyone searching through the trash.

I went to leave Kipo and Wolf to themselves as I met up with Carton, believe it or not I really liked her carefree attitude and wanted to talk with her. "Nice leotards!" I complimented her. She faced me and gave a bright smile "Why thank you! I absolutely LOVE your outfit! Did you make it?" I nodded at her, "I DID make it!"

Just then we heard music playing from the tiny stage and me and Carton both looked to see Benson was being the DJ for them. The crowd was cheering as me and Carton looked at one another and cheered too as we went to go dance with the rest. As I was dancing with her I glanced over to see Kipo and Wolf talking, but suddenly a giant two-faced bird popped it's head in and stole two raccoons!

Oh my GOD..!

W-wait...why does it feel like I've seen this bird somewhere..

We gasped after just seeing what happened, and yet everyone wasn't panicking, they were still exercising. Carton came up to us, still dancing as she explained to us the situation. "The pigeon, that's just Beak Beak. It comes here all the time. Every now and then it takes an energy snack. It's kind of big, if you didn't notice. Not much we can do about it!"

Kipo then says "There's a lot you can do about it. You can get rid of Beak Beak!" "Some of us tried, a long time ago. And now they're gone now." Label mentions as she felt both good and sad at the same time. "We're no match for Beak Beak, and that's OK. Once you accept the world as it is, and stop hoping for what it could be, you find peace." TD said calmly and yet, he still looked scared out of his fur.

"We'll miss you, Hot Dog Bun! And Rusted Can! And Fish Bone! And Dirty Diaper and DJ Crowbar!" Carton yelled as she spins around us. After that event the raccoons had already began sewing back the giant hole Beak Beak made. The gang all sat in a huddle as Kipo told Wolf we had to help them first before dealing with the lunchbox.

She agreed, but only so that we wouldn't have to worry about getting eaten. "Let's make this fun, guys!" Kipo exclaimed at us as we got all the raccoons together. Wolf stood on the stage and prepared a speech. It was very inspiring, but everyone was too afraid to go along with us. "Guess it's just us." Benson said disappointedly as Wolf walked up to TD and Label. "If you won't help us, at least tell us where to find Beak Beak."

They told us and we headed out to scout out the bird. It was just a dumb giant bird, nothing frightening about it if I'm honest. I turn to my friends, "Birds seem to like shiny things. Maybe we can use those mirrors from the cardio room as a diversion!" Kipo smiled at me, "Great idea, (Y/n)!" Wolf smirked at me, "We're going to need those raccoons." "Because if we can't convince them, we can trick them!" Benson exclaimed as we all set out to put our plan in motion.

So here's how the plan went down; Dave had his part in getting Label to help tie a good amount of rope to slingshot the bird, Benson was to get TD to help him tie the ropes on the wire towers and Kipo, Wolf and I were to get the rest of them to lead Beak Beak into the trap by running with giant mirrors.

The three of us ran with the crowd as we ran from Beak Beak, I could tell Wolf was enjoying the thrill of this and Kipo noticed too. We continued to run in a circle until we heard Benson's whistle and Wolf yelled out to us "That's our signal! Bring it home!" We made a sharp left turn as we ran towards our trap. Yelling our hearts out did the three of us laugh. It was a moment I never wanted to forget.

A little ahead of the rope did we all finally dropped the mirrors and ran like crazy to get to cover. I peeked around the corner to see Beak Beak sit on the wires behind the rope we had made. Out of nowhere Kipo dashed towards Beak Beak and I watched Benson chase after her. Man, was she fast...strangely fast...

I now noticed she was trying to get the lunchbox that was stuck on Beak Beak's belly and successfully grabbed it with Benson having to save her. Label attempted to use the trap but a piece broke off and she had to do it herself. Running at it she yelled out determinedly "This is for DJ Crowbar!" Knocking the bird all the way back a hundred yards. Everyone cheered as we were victorious in taking Beak Beak down.

After we said our goodbyes to the raccoons we faced Kipo as she held up the lunchbox. "What are you waiting for? Open it." Wolf said to her, "Yeah! Let's see what clue your dad left ya." She opened the box and placed the broken 3D glasss on her face. "What are these for?" Benson walked up to us, "Maybe we're not looking in the right place." We all faced the giant nose that had the lunchbox in the first place.

Kipo strained herself as she climbed the top of the nose, putting the glasses back on. She saw the mega dogs and awed at their cuteness, even though they're literally 50 feet tall. She gasped as she kept taking them off and putting them back on. "The second clover! Guys, that's it! We found it!" She slid down and stood next us as we gazed out into the direction we're headed.

"If your dad expects us to get in there, he's as crazy as you are." We all stood there in silence until Kipo spoke up. "Once we get there, is that really going to be it for us, Wolf?" I looked at Wolf with a frown on my face, she turned to face us and looked back at the view, taking a few steps before stopping. "No." "What?" Me and Kipo said together. "Burrows are stupid." She looked at me and then at Kipo. "But...I guess if I'm with you, it could be fun."

Tears came to both of our eyes as Kipo said to her, "Wolfatha Christie the Fourth, that's the sweetest thing you've ever said!" "Wolf's going with us!" I shouted as the rest of us cheered. Kipo then went to hug her as she returned it. Wolf then looked at her sleeve and took it off revealing...

Gasp

Kipo's arm....is..furry...and pink

I...I KNEW it!

Wolf gasped as she saw her arm covered in pink fur. Kipo rubbed her arm nervously, "Um, I've been trying to tell you about this. Well, at first I didn't even know what was happening. It was like fur-poof! Wha.." I looked at Kipo and then at Wolf. "But after my vision from Mulholland, I'm pretty sure I'm part mute." Wolf looked at her with a shocked expression, "You're a...mute?"

Oh, no. Wolf...why are you looking at her like that

"I'm still me." Kipo said gently as she reached her hand out to her. Wolf moved back, away from her. "What is it?" "Wolf, talk to us..!" I said to her as she stumbled and fell. "I...I...No!" Panting as she ran away Kipo asked for Benson, tears in her eyes. "Hey, it's gonna be OK, guys. She just needs a little time to process. I'll get her back. Here." He gave her baby Dave as she held on to him. He then ran off to get Wolf while me, Mandu and Kipo stayed put.

I turn to Kipo who looked so heartbroken it made me feel so bad for her. She needed to know. "So, this...is what I was trying to tell you earlier, (Y/n)." I went up to her and raised my arm to show my (f/c) fur appear as she gasped. "Like I said Kipo, I'm always here for you when you need it." She held up her arm too and placed her hand on mine. She cried, tears streaming down her face. "You're...you're just like me!" I nodded at her as I felt tears falling down my face as well. "Yeah, I am. I've been this way for many years. I know what it's like. And don't worry about Wolf. I'm sure Benson will bring her back. "

I embraced her comfortably as we just stood there for a while. I knew just how she felt when she thought she'd be the only one who was different. I felt scared, alone, casted out from everyone, but in time I made friends, people who I could rely on, to help me see past that.

I felt a huge weight lift from chest

I'm glad I was here for Kipo as she was for me

The days we spent together, all the new friends we made, the adventures we had...

It restored the only thing that was lost to me so many years ago...

My hope

The moment was ruined when a tongue had suddenly grabbed Kipo and Dave, yanking them away from my grasp. The only tongue I knew who that belonged to...

I screamed out the only name I've known for years, waving my arms in the air.

"JAMAAAAAAAAACK!!!"
