(Scarlemagne's POV)

I sprayed my pheromone bottle directly in (Y/n)'s face. I had to look away as I did though, I was already breaking my promise I had made. But she gave me no choice. I thought she would've stuck by my side after everything I did for her.

I suppose not.

With a sad expression on my face I stare at my now mind controlled (Y/n) who only smiled at me without no words coming from her voice as her big beautiful (e/c) kept staring back.

I hold her hands as I spoke in a clear manner "(Y/n)...my dear, sweet (Y/n). I know you must be furious at me, but I didn't want to risk losing you." Hearing no response from her I took in a deep breath and continued.

"I'd like for you to go help set up the coronation. I want you to get every mute seated in their assigned areas I have written down right here." I took out a map of where I wanted everyone to be and handed it to her.

She gladly took it without hesitation. "Anything for you, love. Will that be all?" I hummed in thought for a moment before answering. "That should be it. Oh, but if you run into Kipo...try to avoid her if possible. If it comes down to it just say that everything is fine and walk away."

She nodded at my order and made her way out as I watched her walk away. I call out to her "Don't forget once you're done I'll have Song come pick you up for our grand entrance!"

She turned her head back to me with a wave "Yes, Scarlemagne my love. I will not forget. I am incapable of forgetting." I sighed at myself as I think about how to make my entrance first.

I guess it's back to my piano..

I think back to Kipo.

I wonder if she can help inspire me..?

I sent Gerard to get her back and order that Lio should stay on the balcony and wait for my arrival. Soon after, Kipo arrived and sat next to me as I loosened my fingers.

"What do you think about this for our grand entrance?" I started playing a more dramatic tune and increased my pace only to notice it didn't sound quite like how I wanted it to be.

I slammed on the keys in frustration as I let out a yell. I wanted this to be perfect and I couldn't afford to waste my time messing around. I groaned as I placed a hand on my forehead "No. Not regal enough."

I then hear Kipo next to hum as she sat down, or at least tried to seeing how her dress was a bit too........anyway she began speaking to me with her comforting smile. "Maybe something more like this?"

She touched the keys and started playing a slow-tempo tune that seemed to coalesce with me. My smile seemed to return to me as I watch her hands at work. "Oh...I like that. But it needs a little tremolo."

Soon enough we both played together, finally found what I've been trying to produce. My grin grew wider as we were about to reach the end to our song and laughed when we did. It was a good moment we shared and almost made me forget all my troubles I had.

Both of us sighed taking a breath from it all as Kipo spoke up "Where's (Y/n)? Isn't she normally with you?" I look to the side as my eyes seemed to soften. "She wanted to help with the coronation preparations, so she'll be a bit busy until then."

"I see." She simply said as she stared down at the keys. "You know, if you were like this with everyone, instead of forcing them to follow you, they might choose to." A frowned appeared on my face as I scoffed at her. "No one wants to be ruled. Why would they choose that?"

She gave me a soft smile "Because they like you." I looked down "That would never happen." Even I knew everyone who I have controlled over these couple of years wouldn't like me after what I did to them.

It was a fact.

Even (Y/n) wouldn't have still wanted to be with me after what I did to her. And yet, I did it because I'm a pathetic coward that's afraid to lose her.

"It already did...with me." She paused for a few seconds "Here. I made you something." I look to my right and see her pull out...

A..star blanket...?

She then hands it to me "I know it's not the one (Y/n) made for you that you lost, but I thought..." I carefully held the blanket as memories started hitting me again. Some I wanted to forget and some I didn't.

"Well, I wanted to say I'm sorry for everything that happened, to you and (Y/n), and for my part in hurting you." I grew quiet as I stared at the blanket. "You weren't the one who rejected me."

And it was true. She was only a baby when it happened, so she couldn't have predicted anything.

I folded the blanket as she stood up "Please, just promise me you'll think about what I said?" She leaned in "Give people a chance to like you." She walked off leaving me alone to think in my thoughts.

I look once more at her gift as I frowned slightly and placed it in front of me. I start replaying our song we did as I pondered what Kipo said.

What both of them said..

(Wolf's POV)

I ran up in front of Benson as the three of us stood there faced off with Emilia as she grabbed a nearby metal pipe. Swinging it behind her as she readied her stance.

I got in my stance until Dave said to us "Some rocks would've come in handy right about now." All of a sudden Emilia comes charging at us and I spun my staff as I rushed towards her and swing, but only to see her leap over it.

I turn around to see her going after Benson as she swung at him, but barely misses him as he dodged it. Just as she was about to strike Dave stupidly called out to him as Emilia paused and ducked as Dave threw a box at her.

She then walks towards him raising her pipe as Benson called out to Dave now who also threw a box at her and successfully ducked.

I grew tired and decided it was mano y mano with her as she knocked the other two out. It was a long struggle that had me sweating profoundly, but she had the upper hand and knocked away my staff.

She then threw a blanket on me and lifted me up and tossed me along with Benson into their cage chamber. Locking us up she didn't notice Dave rolling next to her.

"Hey, why didn't I get thrown in the cage?" We watched as Emilia groaned at him "Because I was hoping you were dead." Dave crossed his arms "I DEMAND to be tossed in there with my friends!"

She roughly did what he asked and he landed in between us. "Thank you." He groaned as he looked at me. Me and Benson were both irritated that he just gave himself up like that. "Really, Dave?!"

"Great job." Emilia said smiling wickedly as she picked up stalky. "Now you'll be bait to lure Kipo back here after the coronation." Dave looked to us "What about (Y/n), man? We still need to get her back!"

I shushed Dave and look to see Emilia become as stiff as a board. Holding onto stalky as tightly as she could. She turned around and walked up to us very slowly, dragging the tip of the stinger across the ground as it left marks.

"What did you just say..."

Oh, crap...

I covered Dave's mouth as she suddenly ran up to the glass and banged heavily on it. "WHAT. Did. You. Just. SAY?!" I glared at her "It's none of your business what we said! We aren't telling you anything."

She scoffed at me as she turns back around and walks away. "I know I heard something familiar. So let's try this..." I became confused at what she was trying to do until she lifted stalky in the air and smashed it hard on the ground into little broken pieces.

"STALKY!!!!" I screamed in agony as I destroyed my very first best friend. She began to cackle as she pointed the now broken stalky at me. "You wanna tell me NOW?!" I stare coldly at her as tears began dripping down my face.

"Never!" I yelled to her as I kept banging on the glass. The others tried comforting me, but all I felt was piece of me that got torn off.

"It seems I was right. Your idiot mute did say (Y/n)...otherwise you would've given me the name. And now knowing she's alive....well."

She smirked at us "I'm just gonna have to end her too."

We then hear a squeak as we all turn to what was behind Emilia and see...

"Mandu!" I yelled out to her as she got in a fighting stance with a determined look on her face that said "Nobody puts my friends in a cage!"

(Cue that awesome fighting music)

They both rushed into each other dodging and ramming and believe it or not Mandu was kicking butt! We all cheered as they both stared at the sonic sound emitter as Emilia rushed for it.

Luckily Mandu had quick thinking and grabbed the tip of the broken stinger and stabbed Emilia right in lower calf of her leg and thankfully she passed out.

Once Mandu got her keys and opened up our cage I scooped Mandu up and praised her with hugs. After knighting Mandu into our Brunch Bunch I look to see what was left of Stalky.

A small frown appeared as I held the broken stinger.

I'm sure gonna miss ya buddy...

"Ah, Wolf, I'm so sorry." I looked at Benson and then at Stalky. I took a deep breath "It's fine. We gotta go. The coronation is about to start." I then think back to how Emilia reacted when Dave said (Y/n)'s name.

"Apparently Emilia and (Y/n) have a deeper history than we thought. We need to warn them." Benson, Dave and Mandu nodded and I dropped the stinger as we ran towards the tunnels.

Kipo...(Y/n)...we're on our way!

(Kipo's POV)

I stand there waiting as my dad held Scarlemagne's crown by his throne and surprisingly has something else covered behind him at his feet. I paced back and forth impatiently as I become more worried if I got through to Scarlemagne.

I was also worried about (Y/n) too. I haven't seen her since early this morning. I took in a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

Everything is OK.

I'm sure she's safe with Scarlemagne considering how protective he is.

I'm sure everything is gonna be fine.

I turned my attention to dad who was still under Scarlemagne's control. "Do you think Scarlemagne's being fashionably late, or do you think I got through to him?" I looked at him for a response, but only to receive nothing.

I give off a sad yet hopeful expression "I know you can't say anything, and...and that's troubling, but-" I face forward with a proud smile "I've decided to feel good about this.

Then from a long distance I gasp as I hear the beginning of our song being played. "Our song! Maybe I did get through to him!" I said as I closed my eyes and listened to the sweet melody that was playing.

I suddenly stumbled myself as the ground shakes and I look to see my mom carry the piano that Scarlemagne was playing and walked over to us. I squinted my eyes to see further and notice (Y/n) was sitting next to him waving to the crowd.

Scarlemagne began his reign of laughter as he proudly played his introduction. (Y/n) looked like she just kept praising him with a big smile. She almost seemed.....different.

"Or not." I said disappointedly as I watch every mute stare at them in awe as they move closer to the center of Aurum. My mom stopped just as her palm was hovering above everyone and waited for Scarlemagne to finish his song.

Once he did there was silence until he spoke aloud "I can't hear you!" His voice echoed through to us as my mom let out a loud roar to the audiences. Soon after everyone began clapping in hopes they won't get eaten probably.

Mom lowered her hand as Scarlemagne took (Y/n)'s hand as he guided her off and stood side by side as they raised their intertwined arms at the audience as they all grew quiet.

Staring at (Y/n)'s gown who even had a matching robe to go with Scarlemagne's, it caught me by surprise to see how beautiful she was and that she could pose as an actual princess.

Or in this case, an empress.

"Our mute brothers and sisters, welcome!" Scarlemagne announced as (Y/n) started their speech. "Today Mark's the beginning of a new age." "A golden age, ruled by yours truly." He finished as they raised their chins gesturing to themselves.

The crowd cheers for them as I stood behind them a bit shocked.

Did (Y/n) change her mind all of a sudden?

Was she really tempted by royalty that much..?

"Thank you, thank you, thank you. Now, before you all bow to us, it has been brought to my attention, that perhaps I should give you a choice."

I gasped with anticipation as I watched Scarlemagne ran back and pulled a long golden lever next to me. We both looked up as hot melted gold came pouring out of a giant tree that stood behind Aurum.

The gold poured on both sides of the balcony as it landed in a dim pool beneath us. "You can swear loyalty to us, and live in our golden city, or you can choose to oppose us, and become part of the decor."

One of his flamingos flew by and uncovered a sheet from below and revealed a golden statue of...

Wait...are those the Mod Frogs?!

Every mute gasped as they witnessed what had become of them. Everyone seemed so shocked and terrified even I couldn't believe he actually did that.

"Chose wisely." Scarlemagne said as he laughed maniacally at the crowd and soon some of them began cheering for them, and eventually the whole entire stadium was cheering.

I stood there in shock as I turn to (Y/n) who just stood there smiling without even moving, not even saying anything about this!

Why isn't she saying anything..?!

Just then I hear Scarlemagne speak to me "Do you like your gift? I got it for you and (Y/n)." I fumbled with my words as I try to make sense of this. "Uh, I...I didn't ask for this. I don't think (Y/n) did either.."

He faced me with a content smile "You didn't have to. Like (Y/n), you also gave me a gift, so I gave you one. They'll never bother you both again." He then turned to (Y/n) who just smiled as she stood there next to him.

"(Y/n) enjoyed my gift very much, didn't you dear?" She simply nodded her head "Oh yes, I enjoyed it very much. Any gift from Scarlemagne should be cherished and blessed."

My face became confused at how she said that in a strange way and as I stared more at her facial expression a lightbulb glowed.

I turn to Scarlemagne "Did you...Mind Control her?" My breathing became more heavy by the minute as my breathing quickened. Scarlemagne frowned at my state that I was in "You look upset. (Y/n) is perfectly fine, see? I even did what you asked. I'm giving them a choice."

I scoffed at him "What kind of choice is that?! You didn't even give (Y/n) one. So, what makes you think this is OK to you?" He stared blankly at me before glancing behind me as his face lightened up.

"Let me try again. This time, I'll give you the choice. I'll let everyone go. Even (Y/n). Only those who want to follow me will stay." My face brightened up as he continued with his back turned to me.

"I will give up everything I've worked for, for you."

This is great! For a second I really thought he wouldn't change his mind.

"But I need to know that you're willing to give something up for me." I turn serious "OK, anything." I said to him as he gestured to my dad. "Gild your father."

My face became terrified "What?!" I turn in his direction "No, I won't hurt my dad." I gave him a sorrowful look as he closed his eyes "I see. No one ever chooses me..."

He takes a moment as if he were thinking about something or someone as he faced the crowd once again emotionless.

"Unless I make them."

"(Y/n), come." I watch as she walked next to Scarlemagne as my dad began placing Scarlemagne's coated crown on top of his head and went to pick up what was hiding underneath the sheet.

My dad revealed it to be a handmade smaller crown coated in gold as he placed it on (Y/n)'s head. With a booming voice my dad announced the two "All hail Emperor Scarlemagne! And Empress (Y/n)!"

I hear the crowd cheer as I stared at Scarlemagne and furrowed my brows.

He won't get away with this.

(Y/n)'s POV)

Today couldn't have been more infuriating than it already was. Not only did my crazy, possibly sadistic boyfriend mind controlled me after he specifically promised he WOULDN'T, I now can't control my actions or words as I sit through this coronation.

Thankfully I was glad Kipo found out what he did to me. I really wanted to tell her, but I had absolutely no control over myself.

Now, back to where Scarlemagne gave me and Kipo the same gift. I could see why she didn't like it, I mean he literally KILLED THEM BY MELTING THEM INTO GOLD.

Granted killing is not cool, he was right about me liking the gift though. That part WAS true, they were jerks to me and my best friend who even hurt more of my friends because it's like they ain't got nothing better to do than to rain on our parade!

I'll be honest I was glad he did that. Serves them right for messing with us they deserved it. Thankfully he didn't kill the entire mute gang because that would've been too much.

I think it was just bad leadership. But, hey, maybe Jamack can fill the spot.

Moving on to placing our crowns...

I'ma be honest, any girl that would see how beautifully decorative this crown was would not hesitate to decline it. I mean who wouldn't want to be like a princess?! That's every little girl's dream for crying out loud.

The last choice he gave to Kipo was too much. We both knew she wouldn't do that to her dad. Heck, even I wouldn't. I'm not that heartless.

But the last sentence he said really bugged me.

"No one ever chooses me..unless I make them."

Why do I feel like he was referring to me in some way...? Our last conversation had me saying I wasn't gonna join his side, and then that's where he brainwashed me...

I watched as a smoke of pheromones washed over the humans on the ground below us. Kipo speaks up behind us "I really wish you hadn't done that." Scarlemagne grinned as he replied "Well, you're not in a position to make demands, are you?" We both turned back around.

"Let the games begin!" He yelled excitedly as we all waited for....something to happen? The humans weren't responding to his commands it seems, and Scarlemagne notices it too.

"Chip chip. Get along. I command you to take up arms!" He yelled at them and still they did nothing, but look at one another in confusion.

"Why isn't it working?" He asked himself. I wondered what was going on too. Maybe Kipo had something to do with it. Scarlemagne distracted me from my thoughts as he yelled pointing at Kipo. "Song, attack her!"

My mouth flew wide opened in my mind as I couldn't believe what he said.
Why would he say that..? That's his sister!

But just like the humans, Song didn't do as he commanded either and crossed her arms staring him down. Scarlemagne groaned as he turned to Kipo "What have you done?"

"Bum, bum, bum!" She said dramatically as she reached for something in her dress only to reveal it to be a strapped water holder. She lifted the cap "The night I snuck in to see my mom...I called in a favor from a friend!"

From the top of the cap I see....Mulholland pop out! So that was her plan. Mulholland has that special power to interfere with your brain nerves, thus having him get rid of Scarlemagne's pheromones!

Well thought out, Kipo!

"When no one was looking, I poured Mulholland into your vat of pheromone. Boom! You can't control the humans! Or my mom!" She looked to her side "Dah, should've boomed at the end."

Scarlemagne made a low growled as he marched toward Kipo "You think your parlor trick will ruin my day? This stops nothing!" All of a sudden we hear giant steps approaching us as I look up to see Song practically flick Scarlemagne across the room.

Part of me says he deserved that, but the other also wanted to see if he was OK. Kipo begins talking "Now, time for Operation Ave-say Umans-hay!" I watch as Song begins to tear off a top part of a building as a way to get all the humans.

She knelt her hand down on the ground to reveal the rest of the gang. I sighed as I relieved myself. It was good to know they're all OK.

Kipo turned to her father as she stared at the bottle "Snap him out of it, Mulholland!" Although from afar I could see they were having a short conversation of something, but I couldn't make it out what it was.

I'll ask her about it later. Mulholland then shouts with glee "Then back in mouth I go!" He then slips himself in Lio's mouth and waited for a few seconds before it finally worked and Lio was back in control.

Scarlemagne finally regained consciousness and shoved the two to the side as he yelled to the now panicked crowd "Everyone, sit down! The coronation will proceed on schedule." He turned to his nobles "Gerard! Lemieux! Stop her!"

We watched as Song tried to swat them away, but they kept shooting their crossbows at her. I look down at the ground and another fight seem to commence as the two nobles were off fighting the gang.

Song stared directly at Scarlemagne as she gave a menacing roar. Scarlemagne looked furious as he yanked me by his side holding my arm. He called out to Kipo "You may have saved everyone else from my pheromone, but you forgot my most important one."

Her and Lio gasped as he let go of my arm and stood tall as he smirked at them. He pointed at Kipo "Attack Kipo!" He leaned down to whisper in my ear "And...Don't. Hold. Back."

Oh, no..

With a flick of a light switch it's like I was a totally different person. I could feel my fangs already coming in as I immediately pounced towards Kipo as she became startled by the sudden action and we rolled over until I was on top of her.

She struggled to hold my arms from reaching her face as I suddenly grew claws fur appeared on my arms. She gasped as soon as she felt fur, but she only kept staring at my face. "(Y/n)...your eyes have...changed."

I couldn't tell how she was feeling because the next thing I knew I started to bite at her to which she tried to move her face away from me. "(Y/n), please! Stop this!" She tried reaching for her bottle and I swatted it away with my...

Two TAILS?!?

Luckily she was able to shove me off and I got in a low stance as I pace side to side readying to strike. She also extended her arms as her eyes changed too and got in her fighting stance. "I don't want to have to do this, (Y/n)."

"Time for one more gold statue." We both got distracted as Scarlemagne charged at Lio and slammed him into the wall holding his neck. "Dad!" Kipo shouted as she ran towards him, but I intervened and pulled back her dress only for her give me a punch to the jaw as it knocked me backed down on the ground.

While I shook off my bruised jaw I look to see Kipo fighting off with Scarlemagne as he held Lio before dropping him and gave a good kick at her that knocked her back.

I stood in front Scarlemagne protectively as he walked towards Lio. Kipo stood up as she said aloud "Get ready to meet the jaguar!" Just then Wolf shouts from below that she would get stuck if she did. Benson also mentioned that he lost her anchor, whatever that meant.

That was my chance.

I ran on all fours as I pinned her down to the ground as I held her throat and was ready to strike with my other hand. "Oh...I'll assume that's something you really, really need." Scarlemagne insinuated as he grabbed Lio again.

"What a predicament. To save your precious humans, you have to become a mute, one of us, forever." He said as he glanced at her. Kipo, who looked liked she was struggling to speak yelled out to him "It's not just me, Scarlemagne! If you keep pushing (Y/n) further into her primal instincts she'll become a Mega! Permanently!"

He squinted his eyes as he looked disbelieved "You're bluffing. She wasn't born with her mute powers, how do you know she'll turn?" Kipo looked hesitant for a moment before widening her eyes "My mom! She wasn't born with them, but got them from me and yet she still turned. How do you explain that?!"

Scarlemagne looked taken back and stared off in the distance where Song left and looked back at me. His face seemed to tie with that of confusion and denial. "Do you want her to stay stuck like that? Forever?! Because you're only making things worse for her by controlling her!"

Scarlemagne was too distracted when Lio slid the water bottle next to Kipo as she quickly held up the opened cap to my face as Mulholland swept into my mouth.

It felt weird at the time, almost like there was a slight buzzing sound that went off. Soon enough I regained control of my body as Mulholland left my mouth and into the bottle.

"What have you done?!" Scarlemagne screamed as he threw Lio at us. Kipo rested her hand on my back as she looked at me with concern "You OK?" I nodded my head "I am, but...I can't seem to get rid of everything!"

It's like my body changes wouldn't listen to me, so I still had my fur, tails, fangs and my eyes. I looked at Kipo with a worrisome face. I was scared, scared i wouldn't revert back to my old self.

Lio helped me get stand up as Kipo faced Scarlemagne with a glare "Why does everything have to be a choice for you?! You ruled that out of (Y/n), and now she's taken the fall from your actions!"

Scarlemagne looked in my direction as we finally made eye contact, but I was the one that looked away in disappointment. She was right, if he hadn't done the things he did I would still be my normal self.

Even if I couldn't see his reaction I knew he must've felt some remorse for what he did to me. But I can't forgive him, I wasn't the only one he hurt.

Lio placed me down so I could rest, I didn't want to face Scarlemagne I can't hurt him, but I was still recovering from the shock, so I let them handle it.

I watched as Kipo and Lio circled themselves around the throne chairs, so did Scarlemagne. "If humans and mutes worked together, the surface would be a better place." Scarlemagne didn't sound sympathetic at all. "Sounds lovely. Tick-tock, Kipo. What'll it be?"

"She won't need to be a jaguar to fight you." We overhear as super Dave came up carrying Benson and Wolf as she landed on Scarlemagne's head and kicked him multiple times before jumping off.

There was an epic fight as the gang tried to fight off Scarlemagne and everyone was getting their butt whooped until Kipo growled at him ready to transform.

"Careful, now. No anchor..." He said mischievously at her, but fail to see Dave surprise kick him right in the face as it knocked him at the wall. This went on for a few more seconds before Scarlemagne stopped himself.

"Oh, must we go on with this ridiculous game? Just give up." "Give up?" Wolf suddenly said as she held his crown over the edge. "You must not know us very well."

Scarlemagne's expression turned scary serious as he said to her very slowly "Put...down...my... crown." She replied "No problem." And dropped the crown into the boiling pool of hold as it melted away.

He gasped as she did the exact opposite of what he wanted. He then turned to me and Kipo "You've taken everything from me! Is this what you two were planning all along? Were you only pretending to care?!"

"What? No! We only for real care! That's why we were hoping you'd do the right thing. You still can." I stood next to Kipo as it was my turn to speak. "Scarlemagne, why can't you see the better in things? Why can't you see you're hurting everyone..?"

"I built a kingdom from the ashes of humanity." He ran up to us and shoved Lio and Kipo into the wall as he held the lever. "One way or another, you all will be a part of it!" I rush to him as I try to stop him from pulling it "Scarlemagne, no!"

But it was too late, he broke off the lever that controlled how much the gold was coming out only for it to spit out a chunk and started overflowing the ground. The gang managed to find some safe ground as the three of us looked down at them.

All of a sudden I gasped as Lio and Kipo were shoved off and fell off the balcony and I look to see Scarlemagne was the one that pushed them. "Au revoir, Kipo!" "Why did you do that?!" I yelled as he turned to me, completely ignoring what I just asked him.

"And you..." He held onto my arm as he whistled for his flamingo. "You're coming with me." I scoffed at him "Excuse ME?? I'm not going anywhere with you mister-" Before I could react he swooped me off my feet and onto the flamingo, sailing off.

"Scarlemagne, this is insane! It's....it's too high!" Scared of being dropped I cling to the back of his robe as I tried not to look down. Suddenly we hear a huge explosion from afar and we both look to see the hot gold bursting in a bunch of directions. It was starting to be too much.

I then see an upcoming fountain of the gold come closer to us and I begin to panic as I yanked on Scarlemagne's robe trying to get his attention. "It's coming towards us!" Scarlemagne took note of it and quickly seated me in front of him as he covered me with part of his cape.

There wasn't enough time because the gold came and touched one of the flamingo's wings causing it to lose control of its flight and we soon started to crash.

We both screamed as we came closer to the ground and what I didn't know was that as Scarlemagne held onto me he quickly tied the reins around waist repeatedly until we hit on impact.

Luckily I didn't fly off and barely hit my head with a few minor cuts and bruises. I groaned as I held the side of my stomach as I look down to see the flamingo completely knocked out, maybe even dead.

I look at my surroundings and see Scarlemagne had landed further ahead of me and I ran to his aid. I checked his pulse to see if he was alive and he was.

He must've gone unconscious from the blunt force to the head.

I attempted to lift him up with all the strength I had left only to wince in pain from my injury as I dropped him back down. "(Y/n)!" I lifted my head up to see Lio running at me and stopped to see the unconscious monkey lying next to me.

"Are you hurt?" I nodded eagerly as I tried standing up, but thankfully Kipo and Molly came to my side as Lio helped get Scarlemagne out from the boiling lake of gold that kept rising.

We all looked to see every mute was trapped and that the gold was not stopping. "How are we gonna get everyone out of here?" Wolf said to everyone as we all sat there in silence, trying to come up with a solution.

As I sat there thinking about what to do I look up at Kipo who seemed to be looking at the tree where the gold comes out. "We can't save everyone. But the Mega Jaguar can." She said to all of us with a serious tone.

The gang didn't think it was a good idea, even I didn't want her to stay a Mega. "If I turn Mega, I can knock that tree over and stop the gold from rising any higher." Wolf interrupted her "But we don't have your anchor. You won't be able to come back."

So, this anchor was able to get Kipo to change back into a human..?

"Kipo, you'll be a jaguar for the rest of your life." Benson said as his face saddened. Lio looked at her in plea "Please. I can't lose you too." Soon everyone gathered around her and embraced her.

I stare at the tree for a moment before looking back at them. I walk towards Kipo as I said calmly to her "I want to help you take that tree down." Everyone gasped as Kipo walked up to me "No. I can't let you do this, (Y/n). You've already gone through enough crisis as it is. I can handle it, don't worry."

"But...I want to help. After everything I did.." I lowered my head in shame as I recalled what I did to her. She gave a me a surprising hug "None of it was your fault, (Y/n). You're already helping by supporting me."

I nodded at her as she lets go and turns into the Mega Jaguar. For the first time seeing her like this I was amazed and stunned by how cool she looked.

Man...I really wish what I could've been like.

We all watch as she struggles to push thr giant tree down and then calls for Song as she too tries to push it down. But there was no luck.

Everyone was now waiting for death to come as Yumyan gave a well known speech "Timbercats, it's been an honor." They shut their eyes as they pounded the ground with the end of their axes in unison.

Poor Song had got gold on her hand, but what happened next immediately shocked all of us as we watch Kipo suddenly transformed even bigger!

She and Song were now more determined to knock down that tree more than ever as they continued to push and push until the entire tree came crashing down, thus saving us all.

Everyone cheered as they gold no longer rose, but the were cut short as we look to see Kipo trying to change back but couldn't. Song tried consoling her, but no matter how hard she tried she wasn't able to.

Wolf looked at Lio "isn't there another way to turn her back?" The rest of us stared at him as he slowly shook his head down with a few tears coming out.

We all ran to Kipo as Lio was the first to speak to her. "Kipo, look at me. It's gonna be OK. You know why? Because we're still a family. We'll still look at the stars together. We'll still sing."

It was Benson's turn to speak "Kipo, we're so sorry. This is all our fault." Dave turned to him "So, that's it?" Now it was Wolf's turn "No. Kipo doesn't know the meaning of the word "impossible..." and neither should we."

She quickly wiped her tears as she stepped forward "We might not have your anchor to remind you who you are, but I know who you are, we all do! You're the friend who fights for what's right, who accepts everyone for who they are and bring out the best in them."

I step forward as I look up at Kipo "She's right, Kipo. Out of everyone here, I thought I was the only one that stood out, the only one who felt so outcasted and didn't have anyone to turn to. But you gave me hope! You taught me how to believe in myself again."

"And you taught me that change can be good. I mean, you showed me how to have fun!" Wolf smiled as she lowered her voice "You even taught me how to sing." I look at her "Wait, for real?"

She shushed me as she closed her eyes and started to sing.

We see Kipo struggling with something inside of herself as Wolf continued singing. Surprisingly, I knew the song.

Soon enough, everyone started joining in, even if they didn't know the words we all called out to Kipo.

As we finished singing we watched as something extraordinary happened and see Kipo finally turn back into being her self again. We all ran to Kipo as we embraced her. Tears were coming out of all of us. It was a heartfelt moment.

As we let go Kipo was the first to talk "OK, because that was super scary! Am I right?" I looked at Kipo "What was it like?" Did it feel weird or anything?" She shrugged "I can't really describe it, but it was thrilling and scary at the same time!" We both jumped up and down excitedly until she stopped to look at my furry arm.

She frowned "I'm sorry we can't do anything to fix this." I looked at my arm and then at her "There was nothing you could've done. And besides..." I lifted my arms high in the air as I showed her my two connected tails. I gave her a toothy grin "I kinda like this new look."

She smiled at my newfound confidence and gave a simple nod. Dave suddenly complains "Wait, am I the only one who's confused? What was that anchor stuff all about? We spent a lot of time on that!" Benson smiled sweetly at him as he hugged me and Wolf.

"We're the anchor, Dave. We're the anchor!" Dave smiled at him "Aw...I like that. That's cute." Me, Kipo and Lio walked over to song as she lowered her finger down and gently brushed the side of my hair.

I gave her a warm smile as she started speaking and I replied "Don't mention it, Song." Lio and Kipo both looked amazed "Wait...you can understand her?!" I smiled sheepishly at them rubbing the back of my head. "Kinda. I guess because I'm sorta stuck in between a human and a monkey?"

Kipo turned to me "Well, what did she say?" I held her hand "She said "Thank you for being such a good friend to Kipo. She really looks up to you." She giggled "Yeah, that sounds like me."

She looked up at her mom "We did it, mom. Together." Lio came up behind us as he put his hands on both our shoulders. Me and Kipo both looked at one another determinedly "And if I can turn back, so can you. We'll figure this out." Song cooed at us with a big motherly smile as we begin to set off.

We soon met up with the Timbercats who unfortunately had Scarlemagne caged in their wooden cages. Kipo asked Yumyan "Are you sure you're OK with all of us coming back to Timbercat Village?" Yumyan smiled proudly "Anything for you, Kipo, Summoner of Mega Jaguar."

He chuckled "Always knew you had cat in ya." Kipo smiled "Thanks, Yumyan." The rest of the Timbercats lifted up the cage and began setting off. We make room for them to pass and for a moment I locked eyes with Scarlemagne. He looked...sad and lost.

Kipo stared sadly as we both watched him being taken away. "I still can't believe he did what he did...Do you think some time in a cage will change his output on things?"

"Doesn't matter, he needs to know that his actions can lead to consequences." I begin walking after them and stopped as I give off a deathening aura. "And I'm not about to forgive him just yet." I was about to continue walking until I overheard them talking about Emilia.

Seems she can cure the mutes now with her special notebook. Lio looked uneasy "If Emilia has that, she'll end all mutes." I faced them "Oh, we're going to stop her." Kipo nodded determinedly and stood next to me "And we're gonna do it, together." She said confidently as we both walked off side by side.

We didn't know how, we didn't know when..

But with determination and hope by our side, we're willing to do whatever it takes to bring about a place where equality stands high and peace is served around the world.

THAT is what we're aiming for, and if Emilia thinks she can stand in our way of achieving it...well.
