The morning after our...special moment... Kacchan and I didn't really talk to each other that much when class started, and it stayed that way for most of the day. I shrug it off, thinking I should wait a little later to try and talk to him. To be honest, I wanted some space too. Everything that's happened between us lately has been a lot to process.
During lunch, I get my food and start heading towards Uraraka and Iida, when someone roughly puts their hand on my shoulder. I quickly look behind me to see that it's Kirishima. My body loosens up, and I let out a big sigh. I hear Kirishima laugh.
"Don't scare me like that!" I pout. He continues to laugh.
"My bad. So I need a favor from you." He tells me.
"Oh. Well what is it?" I ask. Kirishima proceeds to tell me his plan. He wants the class to discuss Kacchan's party in the common room, so they need someone to distract him. Meaning me. It makes no sense, everyone can just meet at a different place, including me. I try making this point to Kirishima, but he wouldn't budge.
"That'll just make him more suspicious! Besides, you guys need to get along more anyway. Come on man, do it for the team!" He says while putting an arm over my shoulder.
"Mmm. Alright." I give in. He holds me a little tighter.
"Thanks." He says. Suddenly, we see Kacchan turn the corner and head towards our way. His face looks a lot more aggravated when he notices us.
"The fuck are you two up to?" He questions us.
"Just chatting, man. Nothin to be concerned about." Kirishima responds.
"Whatever." Kacchan says and goes into the cafeteria. Kirishima's about to follow behind, but not before whispering one last thing to me.
"I'll let you know the details later!"
I finally go sit down in my usual seat, and instantly get bombarded with questions.
"Deku-kun! What's been going on with you? Are you okay?" She exclaims.
"Yes, Uraraka. I'm fine. The reason I was almost late yesterday was because I overslept. Apparently Kacchan did too. I've just been really tired lately." I say trying to get to the point and eat my food. The group stays silent for a moment.
"Ahh. I see. Well you should always make sure you sleep well." Iida says.
"...I don't buy it! You're telling me that's all that happened? That can't be it!!" Uraraka yells. I groan in frustration. She then leans into my ear and starts to whisper.
"Especially since I know you reaaallllyyy like Bakugou!" She says. I instantly move away from her and start to blush.
"Wh-Wh-What are you talking about!" I yell. Realizing how loud I'm being, I cover my mouth.
"Come on Deku-kun! It was obvious for awhile now." She says. I sit there in silence, unable to deny it. Uraraka kept urging me to tell them what actually happened, but I said to wait until school is over.
Classes continue as usual, and soon enough the school day ends. As I'm walking to the dorm rooms, I hear Kirishima calling me. I look back to see him and Kaminari jogging towards me. As expected, they wrap their arms around my shoulders. They rush me into the dorms, taking me to the fourth floor, and start to tell me the plan Kirishima was telling me earlier.
"B-Bowling??" I say.
"Yeah! We went one time with Bakugou last year and he didn't seem to mind it." Kaminari tells me.
"Plus, we need him gone for awhile. The girls seem to want to go all out decorating the common area." Says Kirishima. Now this all wouldn't be a problem if Kacchan and I were just regular friends, but we're not. I don't know he'd react to me inviting him somewhere. Also, considering the circumstances, wouldn't this be a D-day?! My thoughts are disrupted when my friends keep begging me to take him. I soon say yes, unable to refuse.
"Thanks man! We owe you." Kirishima exclaims.
"Yeah. Make sure to ask him so you guys can head out soon." Kaminari says to me.
"A-Alright." I tell them while lazily lifting my hand up to wave them goodbye. They press the elevator button, and soon enough it opens. I can see surprised looks on their faces as they greet the person inside. Kacchan walks out, practically ignoring them as he walks closer to his dorm room. When he sees me, he looks annoyed.
"Hey nerd, you're in my fucking way." I get confused, then look to see that I'm right in front of Kacchan's room. 'Wa-was this a setup!' I think to myself. I look being Kacchan to see Kirishima and Kaminari giving me the thumbs up as they head into the elevator. I start shaking nervously.
"You ever gonna move, or do I have to force you to?" Kacchan says more aggressively. I flail my arms around as I begin to speak.
"Th-thats not necessary! It's just...well.." I say to him, hesitating to ask him. He groans.
"Fucking spill it out already!"
"Will you go bowling with me today!?" I yell. Everything is silent for a few moments, and I look up to see Kacchan with a very shocked and confused expression. He calms down though, and lightly shoves me as he's unlocking his door.
"Sure." He says to me. "Hurry up and get ready."
"O-Okay!" I say. I run to the stairs instead of the elevator with a big smile on my face, excited that I'll be spending time with Kacchan again.
