Very creative scene. I love what you did with the vacuum cleaner. I think Bertrand would have laughed, not because he found it funny, he doesn't really have much of a normal sense of humour, but more because it was silly and not something he would see on a daily basis. You stayed true to the prompt while making it distinctly your own. The culture clash humor works well, and the performance at the end is understated but unique. It slips a bit as a scene without additional context, maybe pushing a little harder into physical comedy or dialogue punchlines to hit a broader humorous impact would have taken it further—but overall, this was a strong, thoughtful submission.

You nailed the assignment. The humor is chaotic, but the scene is structurally sound and rooted in the prompt. Bertrand feels like a perfect foil to the narrator's deranged energy. If I could offer one piece of advice—it'd be to define your character a little more concretely - it's the opposite of what most people suffer, vivid and memorable but missing a grounded identity (the name alone would have helped), and that hurts connection just a touch. Still, this was hilarious and original.

Great job on this scene! It was very well written, and I really appreciate the way you captured Bertrand's cocky voice and personality—spot on! I really enjoyed reading this scene but I think it would have been a lot better if more description was added. I'm unsure whether one extra character or two. Was Bertrand the first and only character or were they two separate ones? I would have liked to have seen more detail about the setting as it could have been set anywhere. Add the weather, add what they can see, hear, smell. Bring the scenes alive
