For my friend and peer AnthonyAn original short story I wrote, exploring the gender roles, segregation, and prohibition in the 1920s with a "almost love story". In the beginning we meet James, a curious young boy who finds an old pocket watch. Intrigued by what he finds inside, he asks Raymond, his babysitter, about it. Raymond was shocked that the boy had found the pocket watch, but reluctantly tells him the somber story.Hazel, a young white female from the 1920s, is infatuated by the Harlem Renaissance and the spreading black culture. She starts sneaking away in the evenings to see all of the wonderful music, but she is still seeking for more. One night she happens on an illegal speak easy, where her life changes forever.Note: All of these characters belong to me, please ask before using them!…
A TMNT, Heros of Olympus, and Kane Chronicles crossover story I am cowriting with my friend, Percabeth2442. It is also on her profile called When Mythologies Meet (I know, a little miscommunication on the title). I hope you enjoy! The turtle brothers are on the run, unable to stay in the sewers or the farmhouse they head south. They end up in Long Island where they look to find shelter and find a safe place for the recently injured Raphael to heal. Casey is worried about his best friend, Leo feels the responsibility weighing on him, Donnie is hardly getting any sleep, even Mikey is in the dumps. Unfortunately, April thinks it might get much worse. Her dreams have shown her a future she doesn't want to believe, but can't deny it when pieces start falling into place and she starts to understand what it means.Little does she know, another boy she has yet to meet, Percy, is also having nightmares that are frighteningly similar. He consults Annabeth, but not even she can decipher the dream. Then a mysterious attack on one of the camp harpies has Percy worried about his dream becoming real. Following creatures into the forest to find out the truth, he also calls for back up, Carter Kane.Carter had almost forgotten about meeting Percy, but his movie night with Zia is interrupted by Percy calling him in his mind. Carter rounds up the troops to come to his friend's aid, but finds the creatures that he fights easily evade their magic without using any of their own. Carter, intrigued by this, stays with Percy to help understand who and what these creatures are.In all of the commotion, the real villain awaits in the shadows and she is waiting for blood and revenge.Note: The only character we created was Violet, the rest belong to Rick Riordian and Nickelodeon…
This is a story based off of Megan Whalean Turner's book The Thief. You might be a little lost if you haven't read the first book, but it's a good story anyways. I personally have not read the sequels or parallel books to the first, so there may be some things that don't align with the original books (does that make this an AU?!?). Lots of original ideas in here, but I don't own a handsome, young, hot headed thief. But hey, still have my master manipulator. Can't wait for you to meet Her.…
Believe me, this book is one you do not want to read. Ever. Seriously, it is so boring you'd fall asleep after the first sentence. There is nothing for you in this book, I promise you. But, I mean, read it if you really want to when there is so many other things you could do. You know what you could do in the time it takes you to read this book? You could build a bird house or you could master that level on your new video game, come on you were so close last time! What about playing guitar? Finishing up your home work for the week would be pretty nice too. Maybe you could take up knitting. Hey isn't that totally awesome new show coming on right now? You should go watch it, I heard the new episode is awesome. Come on, it's not right for people to read. Please, there are so many other things you can do other than read this book.…
Greetings, my name is CHARA. But you already knew that, didn't you? Well, I am here to tell you about myself. The demon that appears time and time again. But I'm also here to tell you of another demon. The demon that NEVER STOPS. The one that is DETERMINED to take revenge on me. At the end of the say I stop to think who is in control...because it certainly IS NOT ME.…
