dad: when i was in highschool i took a cooking class and because i used spices i got a A+

me and mom:.....but you still dont know how to turn down the flames on some foods and you cook it too fast

the results of today's dinner:

we got some burned pasta rice sticking to the pan and totally black on the bottom of the rice

and dad using my favorite pan to cook eggs on to make drumsticks stick to the bottom

i mean the drumsticks are good but the rice smell makes me want to vomit

*puts a peice of rice in mouth*

....and the taste.
