"It's finally here."

The dirty blonde young man smiled as he looked at his calendar that it's July now and how the summer is finally here.

The man, Chris Shivers, signs that he finally finished his first year as a freshman year in college in Australia and how that, although he thought it's a tough year to get through between assignments, events, and everything else, Chris is glad that it's all over.

"Hey Christie, happy that freshman year is over?" Chris's roommate, Isaiah, joked  to Chris.

Chris smirked as he flipped him the bird and said, "Yeah, but I had to get through traveling to hang out with my family."

"Really?" Isaiah asked

"Yeah, one of my sisters, Helen, is graduating, alongside her friends." Chris answered.

Isaiah was a bit surprised by that and said, "Well, congratulations to your sister, and I hope you and your family have a good summer."

"Thanks, man." Chris said.

The blonde man gets his suitcase and starts to pack his clothes and summer supplies ready to fly back to Southport. Chris is also thankful that he got himself a ticket for the plane he is gonna take.

Just as Chris finished packing his stuff, he stopped for a minute to see a picture of himself, Helen, and their other sister, Elsa, on the picture, where the three of them were at the boardwalk, smiling as one of the boats, named, "Billy Blue" is behind them.

The picture took place a year before Chris went to college.

Chris smiled at the photo and got his water bottle for the long trip.

At the airport, Chris is doing one of his assignments in his seat, as where he is learning about marketing as his major during this time around.

Isaiah decided to go with Chris also, as where he wanted to come to Southport for the first time as a wish vacation, but also looking for a job as he is about to graduate nursing class in a few weeks and had to go back to Chicago in Fall.

Isaiah turns to Chris and says, "You okay, Chris?"

The blonde looked at his friend and said, "Yes, I'm good, just that it's been almost a year and everything just changed."

Isaiah took a sip of his water bottle as he listened to his friend and said, "I understood, mostly of where I heard of a case about some girl got killed last summer in some kind of car crash, I feel bad for the girl and where that it's my first time going to Southport, I'm little worry if it happens to me."

Chris can tell the fear in his best friend's voice and how Chris does know the story about the girl's death and how that it gives Chris some goosebumps.

"Don't worry, Isaiah, everything will be fine." Chris tries to cheer up his strawberry blonde friend.

Isaiah nodded and smiled.

"I promised, if anything happens to us, everything will be okay." Chris said to Isaiah.

"Alright. Let me know if we are in Southport, I'm gonna take a nap." Isaiah said to the Blonde Shivers and put on his eye mask on for the long trip.

Chris giggles and says, "Fine."

The blonde man decided to go back to finish up his assignments and eat some snacks along the way.

He is so excited to meet Helen again after a year.
