basic overlook : in which a girl, Merritt
moves to a new town with her parents in
the hopes of starting over. But, after
moving into her new home, she is met with
a series of unfortunate events that
all begin when she finds a box in her
closet, which holds an arrangement
of letters written by a teen (Winter) previously living in the home. But upon mentioning
the girl to her newfound friends at school,
